Why Consciousness Is Never Needed For Speech and Behavior:
WHILST SPEECH AND MOTION CAN BE PERFORMED LIVE WITH CONSCIOUSNESS IN ATTENDANCE, SPEECH AND MOTION ARE ESSENTIALLY CONSCIOUSNESS FREE MECHANICAL PROCESSES THAT CAN ALSO BE PERFORMED PRERECORDED THAT ONLY REQUIRE THE PRESENCE OF AN INSTRUCTING BLUEPRINT (LIKE A CODED VIDEO FILE), A SET OF COMPETENT ACTUATORS AND A MEANS OF ORCHESTRATING THE ACTUATORS, NO WHERE IN THIS PROCESS IS CONSCIOUSNESS OR CONSTANT OR FREQUENT ATTENTION NECESSARY. CONSCIOUSNESS IS MERELY AN OPTIONAL (DESIRABLE) SUPERVISOR IN THE PROCESS. ON THE CONTRARY, COMPLEX SPEECH AND MOTION CAN OCCUR IN THE TOTAL ABSENCE OF CONSCIOUSNESS AS EXEMPLIFIED BY SLEEPWALKING, SLEEP TALKING AND RESPIRATORY MOVEMENTS THAT CAN AUTOMATICALLY ADAPT TO SITUATIONAL NEEDS WITHOUT CONSCIOUSNESS ATTENDING.
(Just as it is possible for a DVD deck to encode and decode a DVD disc with complex audiovisual data for repeated playback and no consciousness is involved from start to finish, even so it is possible for much more sophisticated human minds to encode in and then decode from a mental hard disk for play back complicated speech and behavior that looks so real it fools onlookers who are themselves fakers and the faker himself without consciousness ever intervening)
JUST AS IT IS DESIRABLE YOU ALWAYS WATCH YOUR STEPS IN ORDER NOT TO STEP ON AN UPRIGHT NAIL, CONSCIOUSNESS IS DESIRABLE OR ADVISABLE TO CARRY OUT SPEECH OR MOTION SO THAT ONE TOTALLY INTENDS OR MEANS THEM SINCERELY BUT CONSCIOUSNESS IS TOTALLY NOT A PREREQUISITE TO CARRY OUT COMPLEX SUSTAINED MOVEMENT OR SPEECH.
EVEN WHEN YOU HEAR WHAT YOU ARE SAYING OR ARE AWARE OF YOUR MOVEMENTS DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE EXECUTING THEM LIVE NOT BY ROTE FROM A JUKEBOX. YOU CAN EXECUTE BY ROTE SPEECH AND MOVEMENT AND STILL HEAR WHAT YOU ARE SAYING OR SEE WHAT YOU ARE DOING. IT ONLY MEANS THAT ON THAT OCCASION YOU ARE PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. PAYING ATTENTION TO SAY WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY IS DIFFERENT FROM PAYING ATTENTION TO HEAR WHAT YOU ARE PARROTING.
In order to speak or move, all you need is to instruct the relevant muscles to move in a coordinated fashion in the correct sequence to produce that desired movement or speech. This process does not require consciousness and can be carried out in the total absence of consciousness. If you can write or record a sophisticated program in neural circuits that will instruct beforehand all the relevant muscles to move in a coordinated or orchestrated fashion according to a determined sequence then the only consciousness you need to speak and move in a manner that appears coherent and life like is that needed to assess any given situation to decide when and what program to activate and then to intermittently monitor and adjust or change the programs as the situation demand. And this is the real life situation of actors who like to think they are such mindful, fully comprehending masters of themselves.
Just as the music box of old can render simple mechanical tunes merely by winding it up so that the resultant rotating movement of a drum with a series of protrusions striking a keyboard produces the illusion of someone playing an instrument, similarly speech and motion can be carried mechanically entirely without need for consciousness.
No consciousness is (ever) required to speak or move in a complex manner for sustained periods like human actors do. It is a myth that you need consciousness or awareness or it is indispensable to speak and move or speech and movements cannot occur without conscious instruction from that mind. On the contrary, consciousness is merely an option that actors choose not to exercise, not frequently but all the time because they are nothing more than exalted disc jockeys.
Just as a humanoid robot that is devoid of consciousness has a microprocessor that instructs it to move its limbs in a coordinated manner that appears so realistic gullible onlookers might be fooled to believe it is actually alive but it is merely carrying out by rote sequences of programmed movements, in the same way, human robots have a programmable centre in their minds of much greater sophistication that can coordinate complex limb and vocal apparatus movements to be triggered on instruction without needing consciousness at all. Because human robots have far greater variety of alternative programs to choose from, can adjust or even switch programs midstream, they and onlookers are fooled they are real time case by case live performers when they are extremely deceptive fakes.
Does a computer need consciousness to carry out complex calculations you ask of it, to activate and close programs, to sense errors and report to you? All it needs is instructions telling it what to do in such and such a situation and it will do it with more faithfulness than human robots (partly because it is not emotional). Similarly no consciousness is needed for human robots to speak and behave; all you need is to tell the muscles what to do and how to do it.
EVEN THOUGH CONSCIOUSNESS OR ATTENTION IS TOTALLY NOT REQUIRED TO SPEAK AND MOVE BY ROTE, IT IS CRUCIAL AND INDISPENSIBLE FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION TO COMPOSE AND CARRY OUT SPEECH AND MOTION THAT IS THE FULLY INTENDED CASE BY CASE RESPONSE TO THE SITUATION AT HAND.
Theoretically speech and motion can be rendered without any need for consciousness because they are merely mechanical processes requiring the presence of actuators and a system of orchestrating them.
Logically, actors’ speech and motion must be rendered without consciousness by rote because they always contain a simultaneous combo of substance and style that cannot be rendered live, that is too laborious to render by frequently switching attention between substance and style and therefore substance and style speech which is what all ordinary people’s speech are, is largely if not always rendered by mindless rote prerecorded.
In reality, actors speech and movements are largely mindlessly by rote, only occasionally, especially when learning new acts do they act by frequently switching their attention between their substance and style. Actors NEVER perform live on a case by case basis except in their delusion that they do so or are mindfully capable.
Anyone who speaks with constantly stretched syllables, constant changes in speed and loudness is speaking by rote from a mental jukebox. Anyone who smiles or laughs whilst speaking is performing by rote from a mental jukebox.
It again reflects that ordinary people’s perception are severely faulty or false that they think they are performing attentively live when they are performing inattentively rote, in danger of future madness when their jukeboxes that they depend on so frequently finally fail.
Retrieving Not Concentrating:
If you observe people talking, sometimes they pause as if to think or concentrate with their eyes slightly rolled upwards and their foreheads burrowed in furrows. They are not concentrating but forcefully struggling to retrieve not so well recorded or more complex rote sequences from their hard disks.
(What they are doing is acted or expressed thinking, it may be faked for show or it may reflect the effort needed to forcefully retrieve prerecorded sequences. The discerning person can differentiate between the two whilst the foolish is taken in)
A Grave Difference:
There may be those who wonder what does it matters whether a person is performing live or by rote from a mental jukebox.

The grave difference is that if you are rendering by jukebox, you may appear to be deceptively attending to matters at hand but you are detached from reality, merely sizing up a situation to activate prerecorded speech and behavior that you think is appropriate. Apart from the stress, restlessness and distraction jukebox performance entails compared to the calm clear thinking of a truly live performance, there is danger you can be caught out when something out of the ordinary happens. For instance if you are walking mindlessly by rote, nothing disastrous may usually happen but one day you will step on something nasty like a long rusty upright nail.
Just as it is possible for someone to steal a CD and play it without permission but it is not possible to steal a live performance that is forever gone afterwards, if you are faking it from a mental jukebox, there must be a mental recording or file of your speech or action in your mind that can be hijacked by the blind mental force also resident in your mind to be triggered against your will to torment you.
Power Amplifiers:
The relationship between the added force and the substance of what a person speaks or does may be compared with the relationship between the power amplifier and the preamplifier in a Hi Fi system.
The function of a power amplifier is to boost the complex constantly varying audio signals to a louder or more powerful level without significantly modifying or distorting it so that it can drive loudspeakers. (But the nature of amplification is that as more power is added to the signals, more harmonic distortion is introduced, in the same way, as actors attempt to boost the power in their speech and action too much as when they become emotional, it becomes contorted and unwieldy)
Just as the preamplifier output is sufficient to power headphones for personal consumption but a being desirous to broadcast his stereo for others to listen to impress them (with his Hi Fi or taste) must subject the signals to a constantly operating separate power amplifier whose output or loudness can be varied significantly, which does not modify the signals but merely makes them more powerful, similar the power amplifier generating the force of going against self in actors’ minds boosts the forcefulness of the complex constantly varying output of the mind without modifying it.
Just as complex sound signals are largely unchanged but they are all amplified, become more powerful after exiting the power amplifier, even so whatever the actor wants to say, do, think or perceive becomes amplified with power added after it exits the amplifier or power generator in the mind.
Just as whatever signals are always amplified in passing through the power amp, even at low volumes, even so all activities have power added after passing through the power generator of the mind.
Just as there are powerful amplifiers that can sustain massive amplification with minimal total harmonic distortion whilst some puny amplifiers distort easily when they are overloaded, even so there are tough goats who can amplify or increase the force in whatever they say or do without outward signs of distress whilst some individuals display breakup or distortion when they try to add too much force in their speech and motion.
THERE IS A SEPARATE POWER AMPLIFIER IN THE MINDS OF ACTORS (THAT CAN BE DISCONNECTED TO EXIT MENTAL FORCE AND ACTING) THAT BOOSTS THE POWER OR ADDS FORCE TO WHATEVER THE ACTOR WANTS TO SAY, DO, THINK AND PERCEIVE. AN INDICATION THAT THIS IS SO IS WHEN ACTORS STRUGGLE TO CONTROL THIS FORCE; WHAT THEY DO OR SAY BREAK DOWN WHEN THEY TRY TO ADD TOO MUCH FORCE EG WHEN THEY BECOME EMOTIONAL (ANGRY, GRIEF).
Multitasking:
People talk of computer multitasking as if the computer can do many tasks at once. What the computer may be doing is rapidly switching between the tasks at hand, because computer chips are very powerful nowadays and they can switch between functions very rapidly, it gives the impression they can do many things at once when instead they are being harassed, juggling many functions at once.
If you observe how your computer works, you may see it is so.
If you are copying files and watching video and using a word processor program, you may notice the video becomes jerky, the sound sometimes breaks up and previously rapid data transfer may even come to a halt to then resume.
There is now so called dual core processors that are two CPUs on a same chip. This is ‘cheating’ because it is essentially two chips working at the same time not one chip.
THEREFORE EVEN THE ‘MIGHTY’ COMPUTER MAY NOT BE ABLE TO DO TWO OR MORE THINGS AT ONCE BUT IT MUST RAPIDLY STRESSFULLY ALTERNATE BETWEEN MULITPLE SIMULTANEOUS TASKS DEMANDED OF IT. IT MAY BE PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DO MORE THAN ONE TASK AT A TIME AND YOU ARE UNNECESSARILY STRESSING YOURSELF, CONDITIONING YOURSELF TO AUTOMATICALLY DIVIDE YOUR ATTENTION UNTIL A DAY MAY COME WHEN YOUR CONCENTRATION CANNOT BE RECONSTITUTED.
“How Can That Happen?”:
One speaking imperially asks, “How can you do that?” or “How can that happen?”
Apart from it being false, the fact that it has been done or it has happened reflects that it can be done and happen so to ask so is false, it is making a fuss, not letting your yes be yes only.
The person speaking correctly says, “You cannot or should not do that” or “That should not happen”.
The Root Of Self Consciousness:
If you are telling a lie or something to mislead someone, you must act as convincingly as you can and yet be not entirely convinced that you are not lying and therefore you must be self-conscious lest people perceive you are faking it. Because people have said and done many things falsely to mislead others and each time they must experience self consciousness, it is now well imprinted in their minds so that they become easily even madly or irrationally self conscious.
Try Something New:
It is impossible for an ordinary person who is doing something for the first few times to perform it slickly in a virtually identical fashion and the only reason why people are so good at performing something is because they have done it so many times before and they are mindlessly regurgitating it from their mental jukeboxes.
The reason why someone spits compulsively with unhesitant rapid accelerating acceleration of speed and forcefulness to great violent levels is because he has done that so many times. It is impossible for a novice in spitting to spit with the venom people do. What he does not realize is that he has unwittingly honed it to perfection and is rehashing it from his mental jukebox that will one day haunt him, will be played back mercilessly to torment him because spitting venomously is never a pleasure but deeply agitating and warps the mind. Imagine spitting violently without provocation and experiencing the violent agitations it is associated with and be unable to stop it.
What Relevance?
The Blessed One said: "A person has six properties, six media of sensory contact, eighteen considerations & four determinations. He has been stilled where the currents of construing do not flow. And when they do not flow, he is said to be a sage at peace. One should not be negligent of discernment, should guard the truth, be devoted to relinquishment, and train only for calm.
There will be those who are resentful, indifferent or undiscerning who may fail to see of the relevance in the Buddha briefing Pukkusati about the person having six properties, six media of contact, 18 considerations and 4 determination.
The reason why the Buddha spoke as above is not for show or he is attached to precepts but it is to convey that contrary to the popular view that this world is marvelous, indefinable and complex beyond imagination (as poets and philosophers imply), it is unabated suffering even to tormenting levels, is dependent on a being existing to experience and is simple, what a being boils down to is (simply) six properties (matter comprising solid, liquid and gas, space, energy and consciousness), six media of sensory contact (sight, sound, smell, touch, taste and intellect) and four determinations (discernment, truth, relinquishment and calm) that determine his destination.
How many people mired in this world, distressed by its sufferings and seeming meaninglessness complexity, like a ball of thread that has no end and beginning, are flummoxed to grasp that however exalted or incomprehensible you might think this world is, it can be reduced to a body with matter, space, energy and consciousness, six sensory portals for contact that can only be pleasant, unpleasant and neither? This realization is crucial in making head and tail or understanding out of this seeming complexity. One becomes sobered and not be carried away to marvel at this world.
Why People Are So Violent Today:
The reason why people nowadays become violent so easily when they are provoked is because the lifting of mental constraints after 1977 and recently, have allowed them to practice their forcefulness more directly with greater acceleration or explosiveness to greater heights than they could before so that they are now owners of potent mad stress, mad emotions and mad violence that can be easily triggered by minor upsets and once triggered the momentum is now very hard or impossible for them to restrain.
THE HANDCUFFS ON EVERYONE’S HANDS HAVE BEEN REMOVED BY THE CONSCIOUSNESS CHANGE AFTER 1977 AND WITHOUT GIVING SO MUCH AS A GRATEFUL ‘THANK YOU’, THEY HAVE USED THIS NEWFOUND LIBERATION TO UNREPENTANTLY, UNABASHEDLY EXERCISE THEIR FORCES OF GOING AGAINST SELF SUCH THAT THEY ARE NOW OWNERS OF POWERFUL FORCES OF GOING AGAINST SELF THAT CAN BE EASILY PROVOKED TO RISE WITH RAPID ACCELERATING ACCELERATION TO LEVELS THAT THEY FIND HARD OR IMPOSSIBLE TO RESTRAIN.
Why Consciousness Changes Did Not Occur Earlier:
Surely the Buddha, Jesus and God are aware that there were tormenting consciousness restraints in place before 1977 that are removable but the reason that they were not removed earlier may be unavoidable, for the sake of the earth and the continuation of the Age, not the result of a vengeful God wanting to make beings suffer unnecessarily.
Just as a hardcore prisoner must have his hands cuffed to render him safe to handle, even so consciousness constraints that were in place throughout the Age may not be so much punishment by God but necessary to protect the earth until the allotted time for the closure of the Age arrives. An aging fisherman told me he retired from fishing recently because the catches nowadays are meager and with diesel oil price escalating it has become economically unviable to fish. If mechanized indiscriminate industrial fishing was introduced earlier, the time when the oceans are depleted of fish may be much earlier and what the fisherman may be accounting anecdotally may be that the oceans are being seriously depleted of fish and a time is coming soon when there are few commercially viable fisheries.
IT IS A REFLECTION THAT THE CONSCIOUSNESS CHANGE IN 1977 CANNOT HAVE OCCURRED MUCH EARLIER OTHERWISE THE EARTH WOULD NOT HAVE LASTED MUCH LONGER AFTERWARDS, UNCUFFING THE HANDCUFFS EARLIER WOULD ENABLE MANKIND TO INTENSIFY IN AN UNSUSTAINABLE FASHION HIS ABUSE OF THE EARTH SO THAT EVERYTHING WILL COLLAPSE BEFORE ITS EXPIRY DATE. MANKIND HAS TO BE KEPT UNDER CONSCIOUSNESS CONSTRAINT. THE CONSCIOUSNESS CHANGES IN 1977 IS A PRECISELY TIMED EVENT BECAUSE THE AGE IS COMING TO A CLOSE, IT OCCURRED SO THAT BEINGS WHO HAVE CONSCIENCE AND CONCERN CAN EXTRICATE THEMSELVES WHILST GOATS CAN REITERATE VIOLENTLY THEIR DEVOTION TO GOING AGAINST SELF.
THE CONSCIOUSNESS CHANGES IN 1977 AND IN RECENT YEARS THOUGH POSSIBLE ALL ALONG, CANNOT COME EARLIER BECAUSE FEW WILL BENEFIT FROM IT, FEW WILL MAKE USE OF IT (AS PROVEN BY PEOPLE’S UNREPENTANT BEHAVIOR TODAY) AND MANKIND’S WANTONNESS MAKES IT UNSUSTAINABLE FOR EXTENDED PERIODS BUT MANKIND’S HANDS MUST BE HANDCUFFED BY MENTAL CONSTRAINTS TO ALLOW THW AGE TO RUN ITS DUE COURSE.
Grand Folly & Selfishness:
Whatever pleasure that you can experience that is derived from your senses is ultimately dependent on your mind as the final vehicle of experience it; cannot be experienced outside your mind suggesting it is self sufficient, capable of all the happiness and pleasure it wants without needing anything extrinsic.
That the same pleasure experienced by the mind can be generated by different objects eg glittering gold or diamonds or voluptuous beauty or a loved one indicates that that pleasure may be generated in the mind itself without dependency on the vagaries of extrinsic sources. Hence it is an abiding delusion that they are not OK by themselves but their happiness and wellbeing are dependent on obtaining and experiencing extrinsic objects.
WHATEVER PLEASURE THAT CAN BE OBTAINED BY EXTRINSIC OBJECTS IN THIS WORLD CAN BE OBTAINED IN ONE’S MIND INDEPENDENT OF THEM, CAN BE GENERATED BY ONE’S MIND WITHOUT THEM AND IT IS GREAT FOLLY AND DELUSION TO STRESS ONESELF IN THEIR VAIN PURSUIT. YOU CAN HAVE ALL YOUR HEART’S DESIRE AND IF YOUR HEART IS HEAVY YOU WILL DERIVE NO SATISFACTION AND EVEN THE MOST MUNDANE FOOD WILL TASTE DELIGHTFUL IF YOUR MIND IS CONTENT.
IT IS LIKE THE FOOLISH MAN WHO GOES EXERTING EVERYWHERE IN SEARCH OF A PRECIOUS PEARL WHEN IT IS ON HIS FOREHEAD ALL THE WHILE.
Whatever the medicine and health foods there are or will be cannot alleviate the terrible torments or forms of madness of a mind that contains force, contains its proxies the emotions, even if the medicine and food can maintain your brain and body in tiptop physical condition, what good do they do to a tormented mind? But if a mind is truly completely freed of force that needs no medicines or health or choicest foods to achieve, it would be permanently liberated from stress, restlessness, distraction, depression and mad violent urges and thus in bliss, it neither requires nor has any desire or interest to lavish itself with medicine or choice nutritionally correct food that are surplus to requirement.
The fact that a being believes it is necessary to treat his mind and body with the best medicines available, nourish them with the best foods available and keep them healthy by a regime of regular exercises (not just of their bodies but even their minds) reflects attachment to or concern for his physical body; an identification with his body. If your physical body is an illusion, is perishable not everlasting, is prison of torment, not a palace of pleasure it is made out to be, then you are attached to something that is false and suffering and since you are attached to it, isn’t it befitting that you will remain with it, both in this life and many lives to come? If you hate your life here, why should you care about what you shall eat and what you shall wear? If you do not care what you shall eat and wear, how is it that you adorn yourself with rings, chains and bracelets and pamper yourself not just with ‘delicious’ food but are impressed when your food are dressed up on your plates?
Cannot Stop Thinking:
The reason why people cannot stop thinking even if they wanted when thinking has become tormenting is because there is always force accompanying their thinking either directly or as emotion as when people keep forcing themselves to think to remember something.
If you cannot stop yourself thinking or stop yourself thinking about a subject, it indicates there is force backing your thinking and you are harming yourself by applying force on your mind when you think.
It is because ordinary people’s speech are always backed by force that they cannot stop talking, they cannot stop themselves from retorting when provoked and they struggle to stop talking even when they are stressed by their talking.

The Nature Of Mental Forces

The Nature Of Mental Forces:
Just as (forceful) acting is the paramount if not sole cause of whatever madness there is mental force is (not may be) the sole cause for all the mental and physical torments of a being.
All forces physical or mental are blind and harmful. Although it is possible to exist without mental force, all beings in this world are detained by mental force. Existing without mental force is not boring but the incomparable release from stress, restlessness, distraction and madness and it is because a being is utterly without force that it can walk on water, fly through the air and go through walls, in other words he is not subject to the constrains of this world of unmitigated suffering not pleasure as all its denizens stubbornly (stubbornness is always forceful) fake it to be.
Although it is possible to speak and move without added force whenever people speak, move, think or perceive, there is ALWAYS added excessive force which is the blind drive behind their stretching of syllables and constant changes in speed and loudness. Added unnecessary force must have an outlet for discharge and stretching syllables, constant unnecessary changes in speed and loudness are the conduits through which this added force is expended.
It is in the nature of things that first you force yourself to use force in whatever you say or do but increasingly you are forced by mental force or seized by mental force that you cannot help to use force in whatever activity you undertake and because you have always used force since long forgotten antiquity, everyone everywhere uses force in whatever they do or say, the actor does not realize there is always added unnecessary force in ALL his activities except when the presence of force is quite obvious eg when he is angry or very emotional. (Thus force is evil and treacherous, it first invites you to use it and thence it seizes your mind driving it to use force in all its activities)
Force does not come out of nothing and so the force in the mind must comes from some sort of mental generator with variable output that can be coupled onto or meshed like cogwheels with whatever activities the mind undertakes and because force is coupled to the activities, it can be decoupled by the wise person to release himself from the bondage of force.
Force exerting on the mind causes pain or stress that leads to restlessness and distraction and until all force is removed from that mind, there is no peace and no end to torment for that mind.
All people suffer regularly from many forms of mental torment and mental torment is never forceless but it is always forceful and beyond the actor’s control. If there is no force in your mind how can it be forcefully tormented? Therefore if you experience mental torment there must be force resident in your mind not just occasionally but constantly with episodic torment representing episodes of gridlock between clashing forces of going against self and self-preservation.
Should the person foolishly choose to cohabit with force in his mind then once stirred like a swarm of bees, it will not cease by itself but it will only cease when its energy has been dissipated on its own OR if it is pegged back by another force, the force of self-preservation.
Force is blind and will not stop by itself except through expenditure and it can only be controlled or countered by another force. Control is itself a forceful process that applies further force on that (foolish) mind to cause more stress, restlessness and distraction and control is doomed because the force of going against self grows increasingly strong and rampant whilst the mind which is the battlefield between these contending forces is increasingly too battered to cope with it.
Just as any self propelling car must have a constant renewing generator of power (its engine) and compulsorily also a constant renewing source of active retardation (the brakes) to exert control on the journey, even so there must be a constant renewing generator for the force of going against self in the minds of actors and a constant renewing source of retardation that generates the force of self preservation in every behavioral excursion to go against self (to deceive, please, impress, dominate and intimidate others).
Just as cars come with engines with different power outputs that can be further tuned or detuned, that can be increased or decreased depending on demand, this mental generator also come with different maximum power output capacity in different actors that they can also soup up (turbo charged) or capped and its output is not fixed but variable depending on demand.
Just as the car engine on a journey never shuts down but merely idles, the generator of force in the mind also never shuts down but only idles so that at any moment an actor’s mind is never free of force, they have never experienced the incomparable release from stress of a force free mind. Because freedom from force is the incomparable universal release from torment, no being who has experienced this incomparable permanent release will tolerate mental force. It is because people have never experienced this incomparable release from suffering that the absence of force confers, they are detained by mental force that will not let them go without a struggle, they think they are OK when there is an executioner’s scimitar hovering behind their necks that they are lackadaisical, content with their lots, refuse to exert themselves to meditate regularly to calm their minds and recommend others emulate them.
Just as the engines of cars can be stopped but most drivers covetous of the sights of journey are unwilling to stop even though the journey is tiring to the point of endangerment, the generator of force in the mind can be stopped but most actors are unwilling to stop it even though they are stressed often to the limit of their tolerance. Just as engines of cars can go mad with a surge of power or brakes can disastrously fail, the force of going against self can go mad or the force of self preservation may fail resulting in uncontrolled going against self.
Just as in a car there is a driver of variable intelligence who is steering and controlling how much propulsion through the accelerator and braking through the brake pedal, similarly there is a (permissive) being with variable intelligence controlling how strong the force of going against self is required and how much impedance to apply through the force of self preservation BUT unlike the car, this generator of the force of going against self can become too powerful and refuse to respond to control driving the foolish being to become mad.
E=MC squared describes the relationship between energy and mass. Exactly what is the source or nature of energy is not known and may not be knowable (But that doesn’t mean one should be puzzled or in uncertainty or doubt or confused). Similarly the source and nature of mental force is not known and may not be knowable but its characteristics or workings may be examined and defined.
Electricity can be produced by chemical reaction (eg in batteries) or by flowing water (hydroelectric) turning a rotor in a magnetic field to generate electricity that then power appliances. Electricity is induced in a circuit when the rotary motion of conducting coils that is driven by water flow is impeded by a surrounding magnetic field that it is constantly cutting through.
Although invisible (because you were not designed to see them, light itself too is not visible but objects it illuminates are visible, the light stream of a cinema projector is because of scatter by atmospheric dust, objects are visible if they reflect light that is directed at your retina and the photochemical reaction there produces a signal that is perceived as a certain color by your mind) there are lines of the electromagnetic force of attraction fluxing inn the gap between the opposite poles of two magnets. A person or non conducting materials passing through the gap experiences no effect but if a conducting wire coil is made to perpetually cut through the magnetic field by rotation, the kinetic energy of the coil (in turn generated by water flow) can be converted into electrical energy to power appliances. Depending on how powerful the magnets are, how many winds there are in the coils, how fast they rotate, the current generated will be commensurately stronger. Similarly there must be a process in the mind that is not mere biochemical reaction that generates force that powers acting or speaking, doing, thinking and perceiving with added unnecessary force.
Although the source and nature of mental force is not known and may not be knowable, like all forces it is blind (whatever is blind that drives behavior is evil or harmful), neither intelligent nor stupid but has scalable strength and the aim of mental force once activated is to seize or drive its target, the mind in a straight line in the direction of that force and because all forces are blind, it will not stop on its own accord, but it will only stop if its energy is expended (provided it is not renewed) or it is brought to a stop by an opposing force.
Actors always speak, move, think and perceive forcefully, there is extra unnecessary force piggybacking on whatever they say, do, think or perceive because this force of going against self latches to whatever activity that mind undertakes and this extra useless force is the source of stretched syllables, stretched stylish motions, constant changes in speed and loudness or force.
(Because force is blind, anyone whose speech and behavior is driven by force, driven by emotion is a slave to blind force and he is a fool if he thinks he is a master of his force or forcefulness, master of his destiny. Force will one day drive him over a cliff into an abyss of misery)
As soon any force acts on the mind (including the force of self preservation) it warps the mind to greater or lesser extent depending on strength and its acceleration causing pain or stress that may be initially mild but gets progressively more intense as the act continues. Because actors are desirous of their acts of going against self proceeding, the force of self preservation initially merely suppresses the initially bearable stress generated whilst trying to curb the force of going against self but as the stress builds up to intrude on the actor’s awareness, the force of self preservation becomes more urgent to bring the act to a halt.
ALTHOUGH ITS NATURE IS UNKNOWN, THERE MUST BE TWO GENERATORS OF FORCE IN THE MIND GIVING RISE RESPECTIVELY TO THE FORCE OF GOING AGAINST SELF AND THE FORCE OF SELF PRESERVATION WHOSE IMPACTS ON THE MIND CREATES STRESS. THERE MUST BE A RENEWING GENERATOR OF FORCE IN THE MINDS OF ALL ACTORS THAT IS THE SOURCE OR FOUNTAIN OF THE FORCE THAT LATCHES ON TO WHATEVER ACTIVITY THE ACTOR UNDERTAKES TO MAKE HIM SAY, DO, THINK OR PERCEIVE WITH ADDED UNNECESSARY FORCE AND ASSUMING IT IS NOT RENEWED, THIS FORCE WILL ONLY STOP WHEN ITS ENERGY IS EXPENDED JUST AS A WIND WILL ONLY STOP WHEN THE AIR PRESSURE BETWEEN TWO AREAS EQUALIZE OR IF AN OPPOSING FORCE, THE FORCE OF SELF PRESERVATION ACTS TO STOP IT.
AS SOON AS THE FORCE OF GOING AGAINST SELF ACTS ON THE MIND, IT GENERATES STRESS THAT INITIALLY THE FORCE OF SELF PRESERVATION FORCEFULLY SUPPRESSES TO FACILITATE GOING AGAINST SELF BUT AS THE STRESS BUILDS UP, THE FORCE OF SELF PRESERVATION BECOMES INCREASINGLY ANTAGONISTIC TO FINALLY PEG BACK THE FORCE OF GOING AGAINST SELF TO A MORE SEDATE LEVEL.
WITHIN THIS MIND IS A FOOLISH BEING OF VARYING DISCERNMENT & VIRTUE DECIDING WHAT ENTERPRISES OF GOING AGAINST SELF TO UNDERTAKE AND REGULATING HOW MUCH FORCE OF GOING AGAINST SELF IS GENERATED AND HOW MUCH FORCE OF SELF PRESERVATION IS NEEDED THINKING HE WILL ALWAYS BE THE MASTER OF CEREMONIES WHEN THIS GENERATOR OF THE FORCE IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY POWERFUL AND AUTONOMOUS, FIRST INTERMITTENTLY DISOBEYING BUT ULTIMATELY BECOMING ROGUE.
When the actor sets out to go against himself eg forcing himself to speak forcefully nice (or actually nonsensical) things in a social conversation, the force of self preservation initially works in the background to limit the forcefulness whilst suppressing the experience of stress that is constantly being created to enable the conversation to continue in relative comfort but to one who sees, there is tension seething beneath apparent calm where others see a natural relaxed conversation. It is only later when the stress has become too severe to ignore that the force of self-preservation becomes more urgent in opposition whilst still suppressing the pain of forceful acting. Even in that situation, the actor might choose to disregard the rising stress perhaps goaded on by himself and others to continue to act with violent force excitedly so that he gets himself into a jam or mental gridlock that he struggles afterwards to extricate himself. Every time he does this, he is conditioning to repeat such abuses in the future. He has a death wish or urge.
What Happened:
People everywhere still continue to act but yet by their demeanor, they have all changed. Because they all still act, they must suffer stress seriously as is reflected by the way people lose control easily to kill themselves violently in traffic accidents and assaults. And yet they must all experience a measure of relief from stress that is reflected in their demeanor.
So what is the difference?
The contrast today may be greater. Whereas in the past it was an uniform dark grey gloom, today people can fluctuate quite wildly and widely between brightness and darkness.
If a person truly exited acting he will experience a permanent great reduction of stress, restlessness and distraction. What stress, restlessness and distraction he experiences is as a result from the bombardment and intimidation of others and he easily, rapidly shrugs them off by seclusion and meditation.
But to those who continue to act nevertheless, they must continue to experience stress, restlessness and distraction that is commensurate with the intensity of their acting but even the most recalcitrant actors are now more sober, they conserve themselves by restraining themselves and only unleash their acting with full force when required or they are provoked or incited beyond their considerable forceful control.
Even the most rabid of goats do not act indiscriminately as before but they are more selective, conserve themselves more & reduced their pace. They do not smile or sport an expression on their faces all the time but are forcefully impassive (still stressful) never passively impassive. But when they get going, their acting can rapidly rise to frenetic heights, their forcefully subdued acting are vulnerable to provocation and when they are triggered they are vulnerable more than before to lose control to do or say insane things.
Those who have reduced their acting will experience a measure of relief from stress, restlessness and distraction commensurate their reduction in acting but because they have not totally exited acting they are still suffering and still vulnerable to provocation by others.
Therefore there are three possibilities today:
a) Adapted Their Acting: Those who are tough goats have summoned their considerable force of self preservation to conserve themselves, they forcefully suppress or minimize their acting when it is not necessary, they don’t smile or express themselves all the time but become forcefully impassive when not necessary (forceful impassiveness is still stressful because force is still being applied on the mind but it is not as stressful or restless or consumes as much energy as forceful constant change expressive acting) but they are easily triggered to lash out, when they are motivated to act, they get carried away to act with great exuberance tottering on loss of control. They are now more discriminating, they know better when to turn on their charms and when to conserve themselves by summoning their considerable force of self preservation to forcefully suppress their acting and force themselves to be impassive.
All goats possess very strong forces of going against self that is now easily triggered to intense levels that they can then barely control. Confronted with all the changes going on everywhere that they can perceive, they too have changed, not by turning against their force of going self to reduce and terminate it but to mobilize their similarly strong force of self preservation to control it so that they suppress their acting where it is unnecessary, only where there are opportunities for gain or they are provoked do they turn on their acting and because their forces of going against self are very powerful and accelerative, once triggered they are in danger of total loss of control or insanity which explains why people today turn nasty and violent (road rage) more easily.
b) Reduced Acting: Those who have sobered up, who have reduced in the direction of cessation their acting but have not stopped, they still act but in a significantly subdued level. These will experience a significant reduction of suffering but are also vulnerable to provocation by others and because they have not quit acting, they have not seen through the false and suffering nature of acting they are in danger of relapse either later or in future lives. No matter how much you have toned down your acting, so long as you remain in acting, you have not seen through in its entirety the falsity and harmfulness of acting and just as you can gravitate towards exit from acting, it is possible that you can progressively revert back to acting, the closer you are to shedding acting the better your chance of exiting acting but it is not guaranteed. As Jesus said, many will fall away. Those who are on the path to cessation may in trying times fall away to up their acting eg to escape persecution.
All those who have some conscience and control have reduced their acting, reduced the intensity and acceleration of their forces of going against self and therefore experienced a commensurate release from suffering but because they cannot in its entirety how they act, they still find acting desirable or good, they are in danger of falling away as Jesus said and reverting back to their former acting in this life or lives to come.
c) Quit Acting: If one has totally seen through the false, harmful and stressful nature of acting, one has put a stop to one’s acting & one will experience a permanent considerable reduction in stress, restlessness and distraction. What remains of them is what can be provoked by others, the ghosts of one’s past acting occasionally rising to haunt one but are easily dispelled.
Whilst it is possible to quit acting, surveying everywhere, I have yet to detect one person that I can say confidently has quit acting, reflecting what a rare exalted state it is.
THEREFORE EVERYONE HAS CHANGED, EVERYONE HAS BENEFITTED FROM CONSCIOUSNESS CHANGES THAT SWEPT AROUND THE WORLD FIRST AFTER 1977 AND NOW IN RECENT YEARS, THE WICKED BY MAKING THEIR ACTING MORE DIRECT (INSTEAD OF ROUND ABOUT), MORE DIRECTED OR TARGETTED INSTEAD INDISCRIMINATE, THEY SUPPRESS THEIR ACTING TO CONSERVE THEMSELVES WITH FORCEFUL PASSIVITY WHERE THERE IS NO NEED FOR ACTING, THE GOOD BY REDUCING THE VOLUME OF THEIR ACTING, BY REDUCING THE POTENCY AND SPEED OF THEIR FORCE OF GOING AGAINST TO ACHIEVE A LEVEL OF REDUCTION IN SUFFERING THAT IS VISIBLE IN THE DEMEANOR. WHILST IT IS POSSIBLE TO EXIT ACTING, TO WIPE OUT ONE’S FORCE OF GOING AGAINST SELF TO ACHIEVE CALM CLEAR THINKING PASSIVITY, IT IS NOT SEEN ANYWHERE.
EVERYONE EXPERIENCED A CONSCIOUSNESS CHANGE THAT WAS TO THEIR BENEFIT IN ALLEVIATING STRESS THAT WAS UNTHINKABLE BEFORE IT HAPPENED; WHILST IT IS POSSIBLE TO EXIT STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND DISTRACTION BY ELIMINATING FORCE IN ONE’S BEHAVIOR, BY ELIMINATING STYLE, BY ELIMINATING CONSTANT UNNECESSARY CHANGES IN SPEED AND LOUDNESS/FORCE, PEOPLE WHO BLAME THIS WORLD FOR BEING SO CRUEL REFUSE TO HELP THEMSELVES AND ARE PERSECUTING OTHERS BY MAINTAINING SUCH WHEN THEY CAN NOW QUIT SUFFERING.
IN THE PAST BEING GOOD AND TRUE WAS A VERY DIFFICULT, LARGELY UNREWARDING, WARPED AND CONFLICT AROUSING ENDEAVOR, IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO BE EFFORTLESSLY, CONFLICT FREE, CALM CLEARLY THINKING GOOD BUT NOW WITH RECENT CONSCIOSUNESS CHANGES THIS IS POSSIBLE AND IT IS INCOMPARABLY SANER AND BLISSFUL.
IN THE PAST IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE AND INCONCEIVABLE TO BE FREE OF SADNESS, FEAR, TENSION AND CONFLICT, CRAZY MIXED OR DISTURBED FEELINGS AND URGES, MAD VIOLENCE AND MAD SPEECH AND MOVEMENTS, IT IS NOW POSSIBLE.
Why You Will Be Delivered To Tribulation:
Jesus: Then they will deliver you up to tribulation, and put you to death; and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.
Comment: What Jesus said above may not be as farfetched as it might seem. Because everybody acts today, everybody is suffering and times are not so grim yet. But if at the close of the Age all those who are sheep stopped acting and therefore enjoy a release from suffering that is visible to goats who instead are suffering intensely because they are vulnerable to mad rapidly arising stress from heedless self abuse and stressful environmental conditions, they might turn on sheep as scapegoats for their torment to put you up to tribulation, and put you to death; and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.
It is because times are not so bad now, everybody is acting and suffering that goats do not set upon sheep but when times are desperate and if the current consciousness changes lead to a final parting of ways in which sheep stop acting and achieve serenity in their appearance and behavior, then they will set themselves apart from tormented goats and it is not surprising that sheep become target of goats’ rage and persecution.
As I see, everyone has changed and are still changing and although they are all still acting as far as I can see, it is conceivable that a time will come in the future when there will be a final parting of the ways when sheep will finally stop acting to experience an effortless serenity they never imagined was possible in existence whilst goats will not only continue acting but they will suffer increasingly intense torment from mad easily triggered stress and violence as a result of fecklessly pushing themselves to greater heights of acting abuse and in desperate times at the close of the Age when many are falling away as Jesus said, it is not surprising if they turn on serene goats.
Ignorance & Delusion: Just as beings are reluctant to quit acting when it is the incomparable and ONLY release from mental torment and all physical suffering, you cannot remain an actor and not suffer physically and mentally, in the same way beings shrouded in ignorance are reluctant to quit all forms of existence even when enlightenment and nirvana is the incomparable and ONLY release from the unsatisfactoriness of existence and the Buddha points that way.
Ignorance is passive that the supply of information will cure. All beings suffer from ignorance according to the Buddha. With the cessation of ignorance is the cessation of all existence as a being.
Delusion is forceful, emotional and the supply of information often cannot cure delusions. All beings on earth suffer significantly to severely from delusions otherwise they won’t be here. Delusions are forceful and cannot be penetrated because the beings will resist if penetration is attempted. They must be allowed to burn themselves (and others) until they see the folly of their ways.
Proof That The Way People Speak Is Rote:
The STYLE (as opposed to the substance) of how people speak (and behave) is actually always rendered mindlessly forcefully by rote that is non-negotiable from a mental jukebox. That it is forcibly reproduced from a mental jukebox is the reason why it is so stable and implacable. Only something that is reproduced from memory is so consistent and the ways people speak and behave is very consistent it is predictable.
The stable characteristic ways with stretched syllables and constant changes in speed and loudness with which people invariably speak is actually proof (not merely evidence) that people are disc jockeys speaking (and behaving) from mental jukeboxes.
People cannot help stretching syllables and changing speed and loudness (and are largely unaware they do so) as they have done so all their lives. If you were to ask the person to speak for once for a change without stretching their syllables, without changing speed or loudness it is certain that he will be dumbfounded or at loss and will continue to nevertheless speak as he usually speaks. That the way he usually speaks has unwitting stretched syllables, constant changes in speed and loudness can be demonstrated by me because I can demonstrate to him how distinctively different his speech would sound like without stretched syllables, without changes in speed and loudness.
In contrast I can effortlessly speak without stretching my syllables and constantly changing speed and loudness and if I want, I can demonstrate immediately how my speech would sound like if I stretched my syllables, if I changed speed, if I changed loudness, if I all at once stretched my syllables and changed speed and loudness. I can immediately experience for myself the significant effort needed, the stress, restlessness and distraction generated to stretch syllables and change speed and loudness.
That I can speak effortlessly without stretching my syllables, without changing speed and loudness (where others can’t even when it is an incomparable release from stress, distraction and restlessness) and at any moment I can mindfully choose (if I want) to deliberately stretch my syllables or change speed or change loudness or do them all combined indicates that I am a live or attentive performer, not performing inattentively from a mental jukebox, indicates that I speak passively without force that I must forcefully overcome with difficulty in order to modify the way I speak.
The only way that ordinary people can stop themselves from constantly stretching their syllables, from constantly changing speed and loudness is to force themselves to pay sustained attention to the way they are speaking to then force themselves to stop stretching syllables, stop changing speed and loudness at each instance that they do so.
This is actually proof (not just an indication) that the usual way that they have always spoken is forcefully without attention (in other words by rote from memory, from a mental jukebox), otherwise they wouldn’t have to use force to force themselves to pay attention to the way they speak (if you always already pay attention to the way you speak, you do not have to force yourself to pay attention to the way you speak in order to change the way you speak), they have to force themselves to pay attention to stop themselves from stretching their syllables and force themselves to pay attention to not change speed and loudness. If the usual way you speak with constant changes in speed and loudness is attentive and no force is needed to change speed or loudness, you do not have to force yourself to pay attention to yourself changing speed and loudness, you do not have to force yourself from changing speed and loudness. It is only because speed and loudness changes are without attention and forceful and you are unaccustomed to not changing speed and loudness that you have to force yourself to pay attention, force yourself from forcefully changing speed and loudness. If speed and loudness changes are not driven by force, why do you have to force yourself not to change speed and loudness? Therefore whenever anyone changes speed and loudness force must be used that consumes energy needlessly creating stress and restlessness.
THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE TO FORCE YOURSELF (APPLY FORCE ON YOURSELF) TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE WAY YOU SPEAK AND THEN FORCE YOURSELF TO STOP STRETCHING YOUR SYLLABLES, FORCE YOURSELF TO STOP CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS IS PROOF THAT THE USUAL WAY ORDINARY PEOPLE SPEAK (WITH ITS CONSTANT STRETCHED SYLLABLES & CHANGES IN SPEED AND LOUDNESS) IS INATTENTIVE (MINDLESS AS IF MEMORISED FROM A MENTAL JUKEBOX) AND FORCEFUL SO THAT FORCE HAS TO BE USED TO STOP IT, NOT JUST ONCE BUT PERSISTENTLY UNTIL THE CONDITIONING TO STRETCH SYLLABLES AND CHANGE SPEED AND LOUDNESS IS FINALLY EXTINGUISHED.
IF THE WAY YOU SPEAK IS PASSIVELY ATTENTIVE, WHY SHOULD YOU HAVE TO FORCE YOURSELF TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE WAY YOU SPEAK TO CHANGE? IT IS ONLY BECAUSE THE WAY YOU SPEAK IS FORCEFULLY (NOT PASSIVELY) INATTENTIVE THAT YOU HAVE TO FORCE YOURSELF TO NEGATE THE FORCEFUL INATTENTION TO PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SPEECH TO CHANGE.
STRETCHING SYLLABLES AND CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS ARE FORCEFULLY INATTENTIVE OR AUTOMATED AND FORCEFUL, OTHERWISE WHY SHOULD YOU HAVE TO APPLY FORCE TO COUNTER THE FORCEFUL INATTENTION TO PAY ATTENTION TO YOURSELF STRETCHING SYLLABLES, CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS AND THEN FORCE YOURSELF TO STOP STRETCHING SYLLABLES, CHANGE SPEED AND LOUDNESS. IF STRETCHING SYLLABLES, CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS ARE NOT FORCEFUL YOU WILL NOT NEED TO USE FORCE TO STOP YOURSELF DOING SO?
THEREFORE STRETCHING SYLLABLES, CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS, WHICH ARE IN TRUTH ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY, FALSE AND WICKED, IS THE INSOLUBLE CONSTANTLY RENEWING SOURCE OF STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND DISTRACTION IS ALWAYS FORCEFUL AND CONSUMES PRODIGIOUS ENERGY. IT IS NEVER PLEASURE AS FOOLISH ACTORS FAKE SO WELL TO THEMSELVES AND OTHERS THAT IT IS THAT THEY NOW FORCEFULLY BELIEVE IT IS AND RECOMMEND TO EACH OTHER BUT IT IS UNNECESSARY SELF AND OTHER TORTURE.
THE FACT THAT ALL ORDINARY PEOPLE ALWAYS SPEAK WITH STRETCHED SYLLABLES AND CONSTANT CHANGES IN SPEED AND LOUDNESS THAT ARE INDIVIDUALLY CHARACTERISTIC (AND THEY ARE LIKELY NOT EVEN AWARE THEY DO SO), AND IF THEY ARE CHALLENGED TO INSTANTLY STOP STRETCHING SYLLABLES AND STOP CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS THEY ARE UNABLE TO OBLIGE EVEN IF THEY WANTED TO, EVEN WHEN IT IS DEMONSTRATED TO THEM IMMEDIATELY HOW WHAT THEY HAVE JUST SAID WOULD SOUND LIKE IF THERE WERE NO STRETCHING OF SYLLABLES, NO CHANGES OF SPEED OR LOUDNESS INDICATES THAT THE WAY OR STYLE WITH WHICH PEOPLE SPEAK IS FIXED, AS IF RENDERED BY ROTE OR MEMORY FROM A MENTAL JUKEBOX JUST AS PEOPLE CAN READ A PASSAGE FROM SHAKESPEARE THAT THEY HAVE READ COUNTLESS TIMES BEFORE SO RAPIDLY THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BE ATTENTIVE OR HE KNOWS THE MEANING OF WHAT HE IS SAYING. IT IS VERBAL DIARRHEA IN WHICH YOU DISGORGE WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU ARE SAYING OR WHAT IT MEANS BUT YOU ONLY PAY ATTENTION TO RETRIEVING IT FROM THE JUKEBOX OF YOUR MIND. IF THEY WERE TO ATTEMPT TO STOP STRETCHING THEIR SYLLABLES OR NOT CHANGE SPEED AND LOUDNESS, THEY WILL BE VISIBLY STRAINED, STRUGGLING AS THEY TRY TO PAY ATTENTION TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE WAY THEY SPEAK TO FALTERINGLY RESTRAIN THEMSELVES FROM DOING SO, AS IF THEY ARE ATTEMPTING TO STOP THE AUTOMATIC STREAMING FROM THEIR JUKEBOX WHILST AT THE SAME TIME PAINSTAKINGLY STOP THEMSELVES STRETCHING SYLLABLES AND CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS.
THAT PEOPLE OFTEN SAY THINGS RAPIDLY GLIBLY WITHOUT REALIZING WHAT THEY HAVE SAID AND WHAT THEY SAY MEAN, PEOPLE CAN RECITE BY ROTE RAPIDLY WITHOUT THINKING OR BEING AWARE OF THE MEANING OF WHAT THEY ARE RECITING, COMPLEX LITERARY PASSAGES BLAH, BLAH, BLAH IS PROOF THEY CAN AND DO OPERATE BY ROTE FROM A SOPHISTICATED MENTAL JUKEBOX.
THE DANGER OF OPERATING FROM A MENTAL JUKEBOX IS THAT IT IS MINDLESS DEPENDENCY ON A JUKEBOX THAT CAN AND WILL GO MAD (IT IS ALREADY INTERMITTENTLY RENDERING MADLY IF ACTORS PAY ATTENTION TO THE WAYS THEY SOMETIMES HELPLESSLY SAY OR DO THINGS THAT ARE INAPPROPRIATE), REFUSING TO OBEY INSTRUCTIONS AND IT IS THE ACTOR’S CHOICE WHETHER HE CONTINUES TO STRESS AND DISTRACT HIMSELF BY OPERATING FROM A MENTAL JUKEBOX OR HE DISPENSES WITH HIS JUKEBOX, FORSAKES HIS STYLE TO THENCEFORTH PERSONALLY HANDLE FULLTIME ATTENTIVELY IN ALL HIS TRANSACTIONS WITH THE EXTERNAL WORLD.
Ordinary people are proud to boast of themselves as directors of companies not realizing they are merely lazy directors of themselves constantly issuing instructions to a robot which is their bodies to carry out their instructions instead of personally attending to his affairs. The danger is that the people you direct may turn against you and stage a rebellion.
The Nature Of Stress, Restlessness & Distraction:
Stress is the forcefully seized or tensed or clenched painful sensation gripping the mind and bodily musculature of the person as opposed to restlessness, which is the forceful involuntary urge to move or speak or think without any purpose. Distraction is a scattering or diffusing of the mind that is unable to concentrate on matters at hand despite the wish of the person to concentrate.
A Description Of Stress:
"I could feel my blood boiling, my pulse is racing, my heart's going.
"My muscles get more and more tense, my heart's getting faster and faster, there's a pain in my chest - I'm a gibbering wreck'.
"When it comes to bedtime I'm tired and try to make myself go to sleep, but I can't, my mind is racing and my thoughts whirling."
Recognizing The Buddha & Counselor:
What transpired below indicates that a person may not recognize the Buddha physically but someone who has an eye for truth can recognize him merely by what the Buddha says (and it is true because no man or guru speaks like the Buddha or Jesus for one who is discriminating). In the same way, if what is purported to have taken place between the Buddha & Pukkusati is true, assuming that the counselor is a person, Jesus does not need to identify him definitely but from the description Jesus gave, the nature of what the counselor will say will identify him to those with an eye for truth.
Even I in the past failed to appreciate in its entirety what the Buddha is saying in the sutta below and therefore when people think what the Buddha is saying does not make sense or they think that modern science have rendered what the Buddha says obsolete, it may not be the Buddha who is at fault but it may be their lack of discernment and comprehension.
For instance, when the Buddha said: "A person has six properties.' These are the six properties: the earth (solid state), the liquid (state), the fire (energy), the wind (gaseous state), the space and the consciousness property.” The derisive person might falsely think that modern science has debunked what the Buddha said when what the Buddha is saying is that a person is comprised of his body and consciousness. His body is in turn a composition of matter (that can be sub-classified into earth or solid, water or liquid and wind or gaseous states), space and energy (fire is infrared and visible spectrum energy).
Dhatu-vibhanga Sutta: An Analysis of the Properties
The Buddha: "If it is no inconvenience for you, Bhaggava, I will stay for one night in your shed."
"It's no inconvenience for me, lord, but there is a wanderer who has already taken up residence there. If he gives his permission, you may stay there as you like."
A clansman named Pukkusati had gone forth into homelessness through faith. He was the one in the potter's shed. So the Blessed One approached and said to him, "If it is no inconvenience for you, monk, I will stay one night in the shed."
"The shed is roomy, my friend. Stay as you like."
So the Blessed One, setting out a spread of grass to one side, sat down, holding his body erect and set mindfulness to the fore (when people sit still, they drift to daydreaming or they cannot help doing so whereas I nowadays can effortlessly dispel all concerns and pay attention to enjoy the present moment). He spent most of the night sitting [in meditation]. Ven. Pukkusati also spent most of the night sitting [in meditation]. The thought occurred to the Blessed One, "How inspiring is the way this clansman behaves. What if I were to question him?" So he said to Ven. Pukkusati, "Out of dedication to whom, monk, have you gone forth?"
"There is, my friend, the contemplative Gotama.' Indeed, the Blessed One is worthy & rightly self-awakened, consummate in knowledge & conduct.' I have gone forth out of dedication to that Blessed One. "
"But where, monk is that Blessed One staying now?"
"There is, my friend, a city in the northern lands named Savatthi."
"Have you ever seen that Blessed One before? On seeing him, would you recognize him?"
"No, my friend."
(It may be or is fate that brought Pukkusati into the presence of the Buddha)
Then the thought occurred to the Blessed One: "What if I were to teach him the Dhamma?" So he said, "I will teach you the Dhamma, monk. Listen & pay close attention. I will speak."
"As you say, friend," replied Ven. Pukkusati.
The Blessed One said: "A person has six properties, six media of sensory contact, eighteen considerations & four determinations. He has been stilled where the currents of construing do not flow. And when they do not flow, he is said to be a sage at peace. One should not be negligent of discernment, should guard the truth, be devoted to relinquishment, and train only for calm.
"'A person has six properties.' These are the six properties: the earth (solid state), the liquid (state), the fire (energy), the wind (gaseous state), the space, the consciousness property. (What the Buddha is saying is that a physical person or physical existence can be summed up as a combination of space, matter {that can be further divided into solid, liquid and gaseous states}, energy and consciousness)
"'A person has six media of sensory contact.' The eye ... ear... nose... tongue... body... intellect.
"'A person has eighteen considerations.' These are the eighteen considerations: On seeing a form, one considers a form that can act as a basis for joy, sadness, or equanimity (pleasant, unpleasant neither pleasant nor unpleasant). On hearing a sound...On smelling...On tasting a flavor...On feeling a tactile sensation...On cognizing an idea. (Each of the six media namely sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch and thought have three possible outcomes on contact namely pleasant, unpleasant or neither, therefore 6 time 3 equals eighteen considerations)
"'A person has four determinations (that determine or define his true nature).' These are the four determinations: the determination for discernment, truth, relinquishment (selflessness) and calm. (Many ordinary people have little or no determination or concern for truth, discernment, selflessness and calm, they are heedless and given to selfishness and agitation)
"'One should not be negligent of discernment (make effort to separate truth from falsehood), should guard the truth, be devoted to relinquishment (selflessness, renunciation), and train only for calm.'
"There remains only consciousness (A person is composed of the three states of matter, energy and consciousness): pure & bright. What does one cognize with that consciousness? One cognizes 'pleasure', 'pain', 'neither pleasure nor pain.' In dependence on a sensory contact that is to be felt as pleasure, there arises a feeling of pleasure. When sensing a feeling of pleasure, one discerns that 'I am sensing a feeling of pleasure.' One discerns that 'With the cessation of that very sensory contact that is to be felt as pleasure, the concomitant feeling ceases, is stilled.' (As simple as what the Buddha is describing above, people preoccupied with hedonistic pleasures are not aware of how their sense of pleasure or displeasure arises with sensory contact because they do not pay attention to it)
"Just as when, from the friction & conjunction of two fire sticks, heat is born and fire appears, and from the separation & disjunction, the concomitant heat ceases, is stilled; in the same way, in dependence on a sensory contact that is to be felt as pleasure, there arises a feeling of pleasure...One discerns that 'With the cessation of that very sensory contact that is to be felt as pleasure, the concomitant feeling...ceases, is stilled.'
"There remains only equanimity: pure & bright, pliant, & luminous. Just as if a skilled goldsmith heat up a crucible, and, taking gold, place it in the crucible: He would blow on it time & again, sprinkle water on it time & again, examine it time & again, so that the gold would become refined, free from dross, pliant, malleable, & luminous. Then whatever sort of ornament he had in mind -- whether a necklace -- it would serve his purpose. In the same way, there remains only equanimity: pure & bright, pliant, & luminous. One discerns that 'If I were to direct pure & bright equanimity toward the sphere of the infinitude of space, I would develop the mind along those lines, and thus this equanimity of mine -- thus supported, -- would last for a long time. One discerns that 'If I were to direct equanimity as pure and bright as this toward the sphere of the infinitude of consciousness...the sphere of nothingness...the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, I would develop the mind along those lines, and thus this equanimity of mine -- thus supported, thus sustained -- would last for a long time.'
"One discerns that 'If I was to direct equanimity as pure and bright as this towards the sphere of the infinitude of consciousness... nothingness... neither perception nor non-perception and to develop the mind along those lines, that would be fabricated.' This being the case, one is not sustained by anything in the world (does not cling to anything in the world). Unsustained, one is not agitated. Unagitated, one is totally unbound right within.
"Sensing a feeling of pleasure, one discerns that it is fleeting, not to be grasped at, not to be relished. Sensing a feeling of pleasure, one senses it disjoined from it. One discerns that 'With the break-up of the body, all that is experienced, not being relished, will grow cold right here.'
"Just as an oil lamp burns in dependence on oil & wick and from the termination of both -- it goes out unnourished; even so, when sensing a feeling limited to the body, one discerns that 'I am sensing a feeling limited to the body.' When sensing a feeling limited to life, one discerns that 'I am sensing a feeling limited to life.' One discerns that 'With the break-up of the body, all that is sensed, not being relished, will grow cold right here.'
"Thus a monk so endowed is endowed with the highest determination for discernment, for this -- the knowledge of the passing away of all suffering & stress -- is the highest noble discernment.
"His release, being founded on truth, does not fluctuate, for whatever is deceptive is false; Unbinding -- the undeceptive -- is true. Thus a monk so endowed is endowed with the highest determination for truth, for this -- Unbinding, the undeceptive -- is the highest noble truth.
"Whereas formerly he foolishly had taken on mental acquisitions and brought them to completion, he has now abandoned them. Thus a monk so endowed is endowed with the highest determination for relinquishment, for this -- the renunciation of all mental acquisitions (views, ideas, concepts) -- is the highest noble relinquishment.
"Whereas formerly he foolishly had greed -- as well as desire & infatuation -- he has now abandoned them. Whereas formerly he foolishly had malice -- as well as ill-will & hatred -- he has now abandoned them...Whereas formerly he foolishly had ignorance -- as well as delusion & confusion -- he has now abandoned them. Thus a monk so endowed is endowed with the highest determination for calm, for this -- the calming of passions, aversions, & delusions -- is the highest noble calm.
"'He has been stilled (no longer restless or desirous of change) where the currents of construing do not flow. And when the currents of construing do not flow, he is said to be a sage at peace.' 'I am' is a construing. 'I am this' is a construing. 'I shall be' is a construing. 'I shall not be'...'I shall be possessed of form'...'I shall not be possessed of form'...'I shall be percipient'...'I shall not be percipient'...'I shall be neither percipient nor non-percipient' is a construing. Construing is a disease, a cancer, an arrow. By going beyond all construing, he is called a sage at peace.
"Furthermore, a sage at peace is not born, does not age or die, is unagitated, and is free from longing. He has nothing whereby he would be born.
Then the thought occurred to Ven. Pukkusati: "Surely, the One Well-gone has come to me. Getting up from his seat, arranging his upper robe, and bowing down he said, "A transgression has overcome me, lord, in that I was so foolish, and unskilled as to assume that it was proper to address the Blessed One as 'friend’.
"Yes, monk, a transgression overcame you as to assume that it was proper to address me as 'friend.' But because you see your transgression, we accept your confession.
"Lord, may I receive full acceptance (ordination as a monk) from the Blessed One?"
"And are your robes & bowl complete?"
"Tathagatas do not give full acceptance to one whose robes & bowl are incomplete."
Then Ven. Pukkusati, left in search of robes and a bowl. And while he was searching a runaway cow killed him.
"Lord, the clansman Pukkusati, has died. What is his destination? What is his future state?"
"Monks, the clansman Pukkusati was wise. He practiced the Dhamma in accordance with the Dhamma and did not pester me (if you foolishly pester a Buddha you may be creating great karma for yourself). With the destruction of the first five fetters (self identity views, faith in rites and precepts, doubt and uncertainty, ill will and sensuality), he has arisen spontaneously [in the Pure Abodes], there to be totally unbound, never again to return from that world."
No self:
The Buddha said he has no self and he merely speaks of a self as a point of reference when speaking to others, not a self as a point of attachment as ordinary people always do.
Forcefully ordinary people are engaged in self-deception if they think they are capable of being selfless. Only a Buddha is passively free of any consideration of self and this is not nihilism but an incomparable release from all suffering.
Reaction & Response:
Reactions are immediate, involuntary, forceful stereotyped verbal and behavioral responses rendered from a mental jukebox. Because they are involuntary or compelling, the actor cannot help it, the actor falsely perceives it is natural and genuine but if they trace back their reactions they may find that there was a time they were consciously fabricating, consciously forcing themselves to fabricate that response they find so compelling now. Reactions can be modified with time and just as they can become more compelling, they can be eradicated but not without determination and eliminating force from one’s mind. It is ultimate blind mental force that is the drive of blind reactions that are partly for show to impress others.
A Buddha and God can never react to anything but being calmly aware of what is happening around them, they mindfully, passively choose to either respond or not respond.
People who are actors are reacting (helplessly) all the time to events happening and reacting is not blameless but it is suffering, a sign of bondage to the world of phenomena and is suffering never pure pleasure. Reaction is the hallmark of jukebox acting, it emanates from prerecorded jukebox sequences that are now so slick or impulsive it is easily triggered without the actor’s consent and is therefore an early sign of mad jukebox failure. An actor may sometimes suppress his reaction, even fabricate the opposite eg smile in the face of a sensed sarcasm to hide his rage but suppression is merely concealing the reaction which has still occurred. Suppression is itself stressful which is why when actors pretend or act as if they are not hurt, you can detect tell tale restless twitching signs it is a lie.
A person whose mind is truly without force, who does not use force in his speech or behavior cannot react because reactions are blindly driven by force. He merely mindfully responds or not responds to the situation in a real time fully comprehending totally appropriate manner.
ALL ORDINARY PEOPLE CANNOT HELP REACTING AND THEY DO NOT REALIZE THEY ARE REACTING ALL THE TIME, NOT SOME OF A TIME LIKE A YOYO BEING PUSHED AWAY AND BACK MADDENINGLY AND THEY THINK THEY ARE MASTERS WHEN THEY ARE ONLY STRUGGLING TO CONTROL THEIR REACTING. THERE IS A NOISE AND STRAIGHTAWAY THEY ARE JOLTED OR PRICK THEIR EARS OR FROWN JUST AS PAVLOV’S DOG SALIVATES HELPLESSLY TO FOOD.
Attracting Attention:
Whatever you do affect others, from noisily grabbing keys, thumping with unnecessary accelerating force and speed repeatedly to close a container lid, typing noisily with rapid acceleration of speed and force or horning impatiently repeatedly. People nearby are affected, usually irritated and have to force themselves to bear or ignore. Whoever whose action stresses, causes others to be restless or distracted, whether he knows or not has debts on his hands to be repaid with suffering. Therefore the wise person will go about quietly with what he does, make as little noise as is necessary, ensure that whatever noise and movement he makes is at constant speed and force that does not stress, incite restlessness and distract others.
All actors are great exhibitionists such that they even exhibit to themselves (eg staring at themselves adoringly in a mirror) and because exhibitionism is shameful and both scorned (and applauded) by society, they have denied to themselves so well they are exhibiting that they are now often unaware they are exhibiting, trying to attract attention (false perception that they are not exhibiting when they are) and if actors examine themselves carefully they may catch themselves exhibiting madly (eg a man automatically sprucing himself up in behavior and appearance at the sight of a girl when there is no chance of advantage). What they do not realize is that if they do not desist, a time will come when they will exhibit madly purposelessly without being able to control because their urge to exhibit will become mad.
And how do you exhibit yourself?
You make more noises or movements than necessary, make louder noises and exaggerated movements than is necessary. Stretched syllables prolong the syllable and attract more attention than un-stretched syllables, changes in speed and loudness/force attracts more attention than no changes.
A person who is a non actor does not want to attract attention; he merely does or says what he wants to say. Anyone who wants to attract attention is an actor.
If you want to attract attention you must act, you must make more and louder noises or movements than is necessary, make more changes in speed and loudness than is necessary.
When what or the way you are doing or saying attracts attention, you must be acting. When you truly have no desire to attract attention to yourself, you are not an actor you go about quietly making as little noise as possible, making as little changes in speed and force/loudness as possible.
Self Consciousness:
All actors must be self conscious and self consciousness is a sure sign of an actor. By implication self consciousness is not a virtue but a sin.
If you are putting on a show, want to attract attention, you want people to like or perversely dislike or be afraid of you, you want to please and impress others, you must be self conscious, conscious of your appearance, how & what you speak and behave. If you do not want people to notice what you are acting, why waste energy and effort acting?
But because they are self conscious people act. Like the chicken and egg and the vexatious question of which came first, all actors must be self conscious and because they are self conscious they are driven to act. Therefore it is not virtuous to be self conscious but it is a sign of false acting.
If watch people walking casually, often especially when they are conscious someone is looking at them, they will pretend to look at this and look at that as if they are interested when nothing is registering. They are faking it because they are self conscious. Such meaningless eye movements faking as if they are looking, distracting themselves are not the first time they have done it but they are rendered mindlessly from the jukebox of their minds and are a form of meaningless jukebox movements caused by self consciousness that they do not realize can and will go mad when they will be permanently seized to say or do meaningless things totally out of context against their helpless wishes not to.
If jukebox actors watch themselves carefully and are honest with themselves, they will catch themselves sometimes saying or doing things that are silly compulsively out of context as if driven by an irresistible mental force and this is a sign of early intermittent jukebox failure.
Either you are content to remain an overrated disc jockey operating your sophisticated jukebox that is so realistic it fools you that you are a real person when you are rehashing old recordings or you can decide thenceforth to attend to all your affairs PERSONALLY, you will personally mindfully speak and perform your tasks without attention dividing style each and every time instead of shirking responsibility and delegating it to a parrot that can and will turn on you.
Jabbing:
Whilst it is possible to tap a key with constant speed and force, if you observe ordinary people typing, they type with a motion that can be described as jabbing. The characteristic that defines a motion as jabbing is a rapid, even accelerating acceleration of speed and force as the finger strikes the keypad. Even though the foolish person might think he is stylish, he is practicing forceful constant changes that is intoxicating leading inexorably to involuntary or helpless constant change also known as restlessness.
Again if you watch people get up or move they never do it at constant speed and force (except in their delusion they do or can) but in a jerky or rushed manner that has constant acceleration of speed and force. It is because they are restless that they move jerkily instead of smoothly but as a result of moving jerkily they are constantly conditioning themselves to be restless in a vicious circle or positive feedback that ends in agony.
False Perception:
If you are still stretching your syllables and you cannot see it, even after it has been pointed out to you, you have false or defective perception.
If stretching syllables are unnecessary, meaningless, wastes prodigious energy creating stress, restlessness and distracts from what you want to say but you think it is desirable, important and beneficial to yourself and others you have false or perverted perception.
When you are constantly changing speed and loudness and you cannot see it even after it has been pointed out to you, you have false or defective perception. If constant changing speed and loudness leads to uncontrollable restlessness and you think it is desirable you have false or perverted perception.
When you are speaking and behaving by rote from a mental jukebox and you think you are personally attending real time case by case each time, you have false perception.
In many ways, people who are actors never perceive truly but they perceive (see, hear, smell, touch and taste) falsely just as they speak, move and think falsely.
Forced Taste:
When ordinary people have to take something unpalatable eg bitter medicine, they force themselves to do it. They screw up their face and forcefully suppress experiencing the taste and get it over as fast as possible in way from start to finish that is not at constant speed or force but accelerating speed and force thereby creating stress and restlessness.
This is not tasting passively but tasting with force that imprints on that mind so that increasingly there is aversion for that taste or food. The noble person on contact with the taste merely notes unpleasant, he does not force himself not to taste it but he takes it calmly without rushing without changing speed or force.
Therefore ordinary people might think they taste without force but it may the case that they always taste not just with added force but attractive and repulsive force that is accelerating in speed and forcefulness.
Strong Words & Inciting Fear:
The next fear. Why experts believe that disease could take hold after the quake.
Comment: Fear is not a pleasant emotion and it is conditioning or habituating. It is not virtuous or pleasant but sinful and suffering to be always fearful. Therefore whenever you speak of fear you are trying to conjure fear in readers and potentially creating karma never merit.
You have no right to speak for readers, aid workers or the victims and you are presumptuous if you think they are fearful, therefore when you talk about the next fear, it is with reference to yourself.
If you are not fearful for the victims, you are not even concerned for the victims then you are lying to speak of fear to arouse fear in readers. If you are truly fearful for the quake victims, it is not meritorious because of what use is your pious fear for anyone including yourself? Instead if are so easily fearful, you are in danger of future mad fear. Whatever the circumstances, it is better to be calm clearly thinking free of fear to work out what is the best recourse, fear hinders and is counter productive.
Many people like to use strong words because they are forceful people to impress others. If you are always saying you are fearful eg “I’m afraid he is not in”, you are constantly frivolously trying to conjure fear in yourself and others and you may have an appointment with mad fear.
False Perception & Delusion:
(Bush as quoted): "God would tell me, George, go and fight those terrorists in Afghanistan. And I did, and then God would tell me, George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq... And I did.
"And now, again, I feel God's words coming to me, Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East. And by God I'm gonna do it."
Bush is unlikely to be totally mad or such a facetious liar to fabricate that God spoke to him as purported above. Much as he denies in public the mess in Iraq and even Afghanistan, he should be aware of the real situation and he is not totally isolated, because he had to face grieving anguished relatives of departed servicemen when he had been noted to break down and cry. Faced with the enormity of the mess and a sense of guilt and regret he is likely to entertain in private, he must desperately want to believe he was not entirely responsible for this mess alone. Being a religious person he must mentally speak to God and for one who is a very forceful person who also perceives forcefully, who has so often insisted that right is wrong and wrong is right, it is not surprising that he should hear God talking to him when he didn’t hear.
What Bush said is probably a delusion that he believes in and his delusion is founded on bizarre logic (that God shares his ideals and what he is doing which harms himself and untold others is for the common good) and false perception. If you force yourself hard enough, you can soon imagine you hear faint voices in your head telling you things and if you keep persisting it might become louder and compelling.
Looking Away:

There are two kinds of looking through the corner of the eye.
In this case Bush is being evasive, pretending not to see, eg when you are saying something dishonest you look away in order to facilitate not seeing the dishonesty you are perpetrating. He is not really looking at anything but it is a blank evasive stare pretending as if his attention has been distracted.
The other type of looking through the corner is the seeing through the corner when one doesn’t want others to know that one is seeing or interested. It is pretending not to see what one saw and is practicing perceptive deceit.
All these are not harmless but it is inculcating a habit of perceptive dishonesty, pretending that one is seeing or hearing when one did not, pretending that one is not seeing or hearing when one is. In each case, the actor tries to act as realistically as possible what is false (that he is not looking when he is) is true, leads to confusion and madness because one’s ability to separate fact from fantasy becomes progressively weakened. Like deep sea fish that do not use their eyes, very soon it becomes blind. Soon such fakers are blind to truth.

Mad Stress:
Mad stress is another form of madness in its own right that afflicts all actors to varying extent because stress is what all actors are (unnecessarily forcefully) subjecting or conditioning their minds to experience and as with anything that is forceful that one keeps subjecting one’s mind to, it becomes easier and easier to recall, faster and faster to rise to greater and greater intensity that lingers longer and longer until it can become mad seemingly to rise rapidly to intense levels to become hard to shake off with little or (apparently) no provocation.
Stress can arise in two ways in actors. There is the ‘sane’ progressive stress that arises proportionately to the duration and strength of force being applied on the mind and there is mad or violent stress that is a conditioned virtual, pre-malignant form of stress that rises rapidly to intense levels independent of the strength or duration of the insult.
When you constantly apply force on your mind to act, to say, do, think and perceive things with added unnecessary force, you create stress that gradually rises in intensity. But this stress that you frequently generate in yourself is never forgotten but conditions your mind to be more able to recall, experience and retain stress. Because the intensity of stress is proportional to the intensity of force you subject your mind to, every time you subject your mind to more intense mental force that you can generate, you are conditioning it to experience stress that is more intense, every time you subject your mind to force that is rapidly accelerating in speed and intensity you are conditioning your mind to similarly experience stress that is also rapidly accelerating to intense levels. Thus conditioned, your mind is vulnerable to have stress that can be madly triggered rapidly to intense levels out of proportion to that insult.
If actors observe themselves, they will find this is the case, stress can arise helplessly in them rapidly to intense levels by something innocuous like the approach of a policeman or an authority figure.
Mad Emotions:
Mad emotions are actually forms of mad violence or force because emotions are nothing more than mental force dressed up in different clothes. Emotions are the different styles of force and because all actors cherish style, they cherish all their different emotions as if they are different and real entities. Mad sadness or depression is a form of mad emotions.
Whatever that is forceful that you keep subjecting your mind to can in time arise easily, rapidly to great strength, great realism and linger to be hard to shake off until a time comes when it can become mad, to arise with little trigger seemingly out of context and cling to you. Emotions are forceful and if you keep subjecting yourself to an emotion, it in time in becomes very slick, very potent, harder and harder to control until it becomes mad.
If you keep subjecting yourself to anger, for instance you even fake anger that you did not feel when confronting another motorist after an accident to intimidate him, in time you come, you do not have to force yourself to fake anger but anger becomes very easily aroused and very realistic, you cannot tell whether you are really angry or faking it. What the fool does not realize is that he is trapped, unless he strives to efface his anger every time it arises, he is doomed to finally lose control over his anger in an acute situation or in old age degeneration.
Similarly if you keep practicing hate, it will become increasingly intense, easy to arose and spread to more and more targets of your hate until you are mad, consumed by your hate that you can no longer control.
If you keep lusting after women, in time you become a sex maniac with an insatiable appetite for sex, indiscriminately lusting after any woman young or old that you see and it is torment not unadulterated pleasure.
The same with greed, every moment you experience greed you are conditioning yourself to greed. The reason why people’s greed are so compelling, they cannot stop being greedy is because they have practiced greed all their lives, they have invested strong mental force in their greed until it is now so compelling and real.
All the emotions namely anger, hate, ‘love’ or desire or lust, greed, jealousy, pride, shame, fear, sadness, excitement can become mad depending on how the person is attached to them or keep practicing them.
Eight Kinds Of Madness:
Thus there are eight kinds of madness that must afflict all actors episodically at the moment but will become totally mad in the future. Few actors can imagine that they will become mad but they have nobody to blame should they finally succumb and it is torment:
1) Mad perception (hallucinations, pretend to see when they did not, pretend not to see when they did).
2) Mad rote behavior and speech (involuntary identical prerecorded utterances and motion).
3) Mad violence.
4) Mad restlessness.
5) Mad stress.
6) Mad distraction (daze, stupor).
7) Mad emotions (depression is part of mad emotions) and
8) Mad logic.
Mad Confusion: Mad confusion may be a mixture of distraction, restlessness, forcefulness and mad logic. Confusion is always a forceful state of the mind that can be characterized by anxious disorientation, the person may not know time of day, date, where he is, what is right, true or beneficial and what is wrong, false or harmful. He is unable to think. Confusion as the Buddha said is not blameless but only a blameworthy person has a mind that can be confused and he is headed for perdition not heaven.
Mad Laughter:
Mad laughter is actually mad rote or jukebox behavior or speech plus or minus mad emotions.
All laughter is actually learnt never true because laughter creates stress and restlessness; people learn to force themselves to laugh in certain situations until it is so slick they cannot stop themselves laughing when those situations arise. And if you listen to mad people laughing, apart from it being totally inappropriate, it is similar in style and substance, similar in its constant changes in speed and loudness to the way they used to laugh in their fabricated ways when they were still relatively sane actors. This is suggestion that madness is acting (in this case acted laughing) gone totally out of control or inappropriate. It has never been demonstrated that a person who never laughed in his life could suddenly laugh madly when they go mad but all mad laughter had precedent acted laughter.
WHY ACTING IS THE CAUSE OF MADNESS:
(Madness is the paramount if not sole cause of madness. For one who sees things as they are, acting leads inexorably to madness and there are compelling reasons why this is so.)
The common principle underlying the genesis of all forms of madness is that whatever is false and forceful that one subjects one’s mind to conditions that mind such that it becomes easier and easier to recall, rises more and more rapidly to greater and greater intensity and clings to that mind longer and longer until a time comes when it becomes totally mad, independent of control seemingly to arise with little or no provocation to reach intense levels and hard to shake off. Acting in all its guises and facets are forceful and conditions that mind and whatever forms of madness there may be are all forceful and have antecedents in the actor’s mind or can be traced to forceful acting.
(This is the underlying principle in sports training or forceful ritualized movements that has style and substance. If tennis is true you will born with the ability to play tennis. Tennis something fabricated and largely if not completely mindless that people learn to play and then get addicted because it is deemed classy or they want to impress others. Sportsmen keep practicing until their shots become automatic, powerful such that in time in unguarded moments they find themselves executing shots inappropriately.)
WHATEVER THAT IS FORCEFUL & HARMFUL TO SELF THAT ONE FORCIBLY SUBJECTS ONESELF TO (ACTING OR FABRICATING) IS SUBJECT TO CONTROL OR MUST BE FORCEFULLY REGULATED & WHATEVER IS SUBJECT TO CONSTANT SELF CONTROL IS SUBJECT TO LOSS OF CONTROL BECAUSE HOWEVER STRONG THE SELF CONTROL IT CAN AND WILL BE BREACHED.
(Those who think they do not act, do not fabricate have wrong view or false perception, itself a form of acting; they only have to examine themselves and others honestly for stretched syllables, for changes in speed and loudness when speaking. For one who sees things as they are, stretching syllables, changing speed and loudness whilst speaking are totally unnecessary, waste prodigious energy creating stress, it is the style that distracts the person’s attention away from the substance of what he wants to say and the constant changes in speed and loudness is de facto controlled restlessness.)
TAKE AWAY FORCEFUL REGULATION (BY THE FORCE & LOGIC OF SELF PRESERVATION) & PURPOSE (TO DECEIVE, PLEASE, IMPRESS, INTIMIDATE & DOMINATE) FROM ACTING THAT IS ALWAYS EXPRESSED THROUGH SPEECH, MOTION, THOUGHT AND PERCEPTION AND IT BECOMES UNREGULATED PURPOSELESS SPEECH, MOTION, THOUGHT AND PERCEPTION OR MADNESS. ALL THE FORMS OF MADNESS THAT ARE POSSIBLE, NAMELY MAD LOGIC, MAD ROTE SPEECH OR BEHAVIOR, MAD VIOLENCE, MAD RESTLESSNESS, MAD DISTRACTION, MAD STRESS, MAD PERCEPTION (HALLUCINATIONS) AND MAD SADNESS SHARE THE SAME SUBSTRATES AS ACTING, NAMELY SPEECH, ACTION, THOUGHT AND PERCEPTION INDICATING THAT ACTING AND MADNESS HAVE COMMON GROUND.
ACTING IS DE FACTO CONTROLLED DELIBERATE MADNESS IN SPEECH, MOTION, THOUGHT AND PERCEPTION THAT IS INTENDED TO DECEIVE, IMPRESS, PLEASE, DOMINATE AND INTIMIDATE OTHERS. THEREFORE TAKE AWAY THE CONTROL AND INTENTION AND YOU HAVE UNCONTROLLED MAD OR UNINTENDED ACTING IN SPEECH, MOTION, THOUGHT AND PERCEPTION OR TOTAL MADNESS.
Mad or purposeless forceful restlessness is a specific form of madness that occurs in a more benign form in actors indicating that mad restlessness has its etiology in acting. Stress that cannot be resolved leads to restlessness and because actors are constantly applying force on their minds by speaking, moving, thinking and perceiving with added unnecessary force, they are constantly stressing themselves that lead to restlessness that they only forcibly control and conceal from others, a process that itself generates further stress and restlessness. Restlessness is further something that actors foolishly constantly practice in a controlled or limited fashion because it is deemed stylish to speak and move with constant changes in speed and force. Initially you have to force yourself to constantly change speed and loudness whilst you speak but progressively you are forced by irresistible habit to speak with constant changes in speed and loudness, you are struggling to stop yourself from going totally restless.
No matter how genuine a person may think his standardized ‘hello’ to greet others is, if it is in truth forced, if there is extra unnecessary forcefulness and constant unnecessary forceful stretched syllables and changes in loudness and speed as uttered, he is going against yourself in a controlled way to please or impress others and he is headed for madness because it is rendered by rote forced by himself from a mental jukebox that can and will turn mad to be rendered irrationally.
If you are constantly dividing your attention by practicing speech, motion, thought and perception that has a combo of simultaneous substance and style that forces you to alternate your attention, you additionally practice doing many things at once, is it any surprise that you regularly find it hard to gather your concentration, you lapse into dazes that you must forcibly pull yourself out off and in a crisis or old age you succumb to deep dazes that you may never exit?
All the forms of madness that are known to exist namely mad logic, mad violence, mad rote behavior, mad stress, mad restlessness, mad distraction, mad sadness and mad perception (hallucinations) have precedents in acting, can be traced back to antecedents in acting or can be explained by specific parts of acting that have gone mad, indicating acting is the common progenitor or denominator of madness. Therefore it should be quite clear that acting is crucial if not the only father of all the various forms of madness that is possible.
Acted perception: People seriously underestimate the extent that their perceptions are also faked or fabricated just like they fake their speech, motions & thought. When you pretend not to see or hear something when you did, the ‘not seeing or hearing’ is the false substance of your false or acted or controlled intended mad PERCEPTION (it is mad to pretend you did not see when you did) whilst the way with eyes fluttering or turned away, not with sane constant speed and force but in a darting way with unnecessary insane rapid acceleration of speed and force that may be associated with an expression of disdain is the always false STYLE of your false perception. When you say “I see what you mean” when you didn’t and proceed to express as if you did see (eg smile and nod), you are perceiving falsely or pretending to see when you did not. When you lie and you pretend not to see you are lying, in time you truly cannot see you are lying or you have the false perception that your lying is truth)
Why Acting Leads To Hallucination:
The Buddha: "Then, Bahiya, you should train yourself thus: In reference to the seen, there will be only the seen. In reference to the heard, there will be only the heard. In reference to the sensed, there will be only the sensed. In reference to the cognized, there will be only the cognized. That is how you should train yourself. Then, Bahiya, you will not be 'thereby.' When you are not thereby, you will not be 'therein.' When you are not therein, you will be neither 'here' nor 'there' nor between the two. This, just this, is the end of stress."
If you never fabricated or used force in your perceptions, you only passively see, hear, smell, taste and touch as the Buddha said above, how can you hallucinate? Hallucinations are seeing and hearing things that are not there but your mind tells you they are or mad seeing or hearing. What actors are doing all the time is controlled false seeing and hearing, they see or hear with force, they force themselves to see or hear (eg keep trying to recollect the face of a person they are madly in love with, keep trying to remember a favorite tune). As is the nature of things that are forced, initially you forced yourself to see and hear certain things but increasingly you are forced against your will or wish to start seeing or hearing things. Isn’t it a logical extension that such frequent even controlled false seeing and hearing, driven by greed/lust should one day become totally uncontrolled tormenting false seeing and hearing, also known as hallucinations?
It is because actors perceive with force, they see, hear, smell (sniff), touch and taste (smack) with force that can rise to intense levels that their perceptions can be strongly imprinted in their minds that under certain circumstances can become bizarre and dissociated to become very real hallucinations.
(Phantom bodily pain or phantom limbs are hallucinations or mad perceptions, not mad stress)
A Sign Of Rote Speech:
The English language has many words that are similar eg ‘type of’, ‘form of’ and ‘category of’ that can be used interchangeably. In rote speech the person always not just uses the same favorite word to the exclusion of alternatives but he uses the same word with the same style, same stretching of syllables with same changes in speed and loudness.
Why Jukebox Speech Is Dishonest:
Just as a tape recorder can never mean whatever replies it is taped to make, any transaction that is rendered through a mental jukebox can never be truly meant or sincere but it is a rehashed impersonal standard line. When people choke with emotion when they say something eg “I love you” or “Goodbye” the foolish person is moved to think how heartfelt it is but the choking and trembling is a sign of forceful mental conflict that never arise out of truth but falsity.
How many when confronted, will admit they told a lie? Instead they are likely to deny, give an excuse, take offense or even counter accuse you for being too sensitive.
What they do not realize is that in doing so, they are forcefully insisting to themselves that what is true (they told a lie or cheated) is false and it is in the nature of things that with repeated practice such forceful insistences of what is false is true becomes compelling and the actor is in time forced to believe his lies are not lies. He is well on the way to total mad logic when his sense of self preservation and reality testing finally deserts him.

Comment: Bush is under considerable pressure, his Iraq adventure is turning out to be a nightmare and support for him is falling. If his intention is to galvanize support for himself by telling humanity or everyone that terrorists will attack them, then deep inside he knows his true motive is not war on humanity but to cajole those foolish enough to believe him to continue supporting him and the US. That is not saying what you mean and meaning what you say that is not harmless because in time he will start to believe his own lie that terrorists are waging war on humanity when his message is support me. He does not realize he has an appointment with madness, mad logic.



Why All Actors Must Be Presumptuous:
Just as all emotions are powered by the force of going against self presumption is not a stand alone condition but its existence is dependent on jukebox acting. It is impossible for someone who continues to act from the jukebox to cease being presumptuous and presumption comes to an end with the cessation of jukebox acting.
Presumption according to the Buddha is a defilement of the mind that prevents wisdom from arising. Presumption is never an individual case by case but it is always a flat across the board emotional unconscious blind attitude. All presumptuous people are unaware they are being presumptuous.
Because actors are constantly acting from a mental jukebox, they are never fully attentive in dealing with the external world, they always size up a situation, they demand themselves to quickly size up a situation to swiftly, hastily select an option to activate a response; that is presumption, not treating each situation in a case by case basis on merit.
It is impossible for actors acting from a jukebox not to be presumptuous because acting from a jukebox necessitates that they be presumptuous, they must presume that situations with certain characteristics must mean certain things that demand certain responses from them. Only a person who is fully attentive, who is aware of the current situation to compose a mindful response to it is not presumptive.
An Excuse Or Lie:
The Palestinian official who quoted Bush’s remarks was said to have said he did not take Bush’s remarks that God told him what to do literally.
(Bush as quoted): "God would tell me, George, go and fight those terrorists in Afghanistan. And I did, and then God would tell me, George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq... And I did.
"And now, again, I feel God's words coming to me, Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East. And by God I'm gonna do it."
If Bush did say what was quoted above it can never be construed as not literal; either he meant what he said or it was a bizarre joke or lie. The Palestinian official is not mad (yet) for saying he took it as not literal but he was proffering an excuse or unconscious lie to put Bush in better light perhaps because he feared backlash from the White House. A parable is not literal but what Bush said cannot be construed as a parable. As a result of this official’s mischief, the gullible may entertain doubt that perhaps it is true, what was said by Bush can be accepted as not literal and he himself is likely to believe it is true, he is not proffering an excuse for Bush but it is true what Bush said is not literal. This is sowing the seeds of false logic and future madness when you start to truly believe that what is impossible is possible.
What Bush uttered in private is an indication of the sort of person he is. His so called ‘affable guy’ public image is an act or lie because it has been reported that he is cold, distant and testy or surly in private such that aides were afraid to approach him and recently he was so uninterested initially in the New Orleans disaster because he was too busy with his holidaying that one aide had to pluck up great courage to hand him a DVD of TV coverage he made that he thought the president should look at.
What Jesus said below is correctly not literal but what Bush said cannot be construed as not literal unless you are mad or lying for him:
"For it will be as when a man going on a journey called his servants and entrusted to them his property; 15 to one he gave five talents, * to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. 16 He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them; and he made five talents more. 17 So also, he who had the two talents made two talents more. 18 But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master's money. 19* Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20 And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, 'Master, you delivered to me five talents; here I have made five talents more.' 21* His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.' 22 And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, 'Master, you delivered to me two talents; here I have made two talents more.' 23 His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.' 24 He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, 'Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not winnow; 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is yours.' 26 But his master answered him, 'You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sowed, and gather where I have not winnowed? 27 Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has the ten talents. For to every one who has will more be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30* And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.' (The Buddha similar described heedless men as worthless, not in derision but as matter of fact. What Jesus says above indicates that people are not equal in spiritual maturity, there are one, two and three talent men and accords with what the Buddha says that people vary in their capacity to see truth, be virtuous, concentrate their minds and be selfless)
A Fish With More Sense Than The Church?
It seems a fish in New York may have more sense than the church because it spoke a few years ago to fishmongers slaughtering it that everyone need repenting for the end and judgment is near whilst the church as guardians of the faith does not see it prudent or responsible or it is their duty to publicly remind people in the face of portents like earthquakes in many places, nation rising against nation, global warming and the vanishing of species that as real as this world seems, there will be a close of the age and judgment.
Jesus said: "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net which was thrown into the sea and gathered fish of every kind; 48 when it was full, men drew it ashore and sat down and sorted the good into vessels but threw away the bad. 49 So it will be at the close of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous, 50 and throw them into the furnace of fire; there men will weep and gnash their teeth. It is no stretch of the imagination that with the earth’s resources conceivably stretched to its limits and its population the maximum that can be sustained that the nets might now be finally full.
As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will this be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the close of the age?" 4 And Jesus answered them, "Take heed that no one leads you astray. 5* For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and they will lead many astray. 6* And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not alarmed; for this must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places: 8 all this is but the beginning of the birth-pangs.

Amazon area threatened by drought
Brazil has adopted emergency measures to deal with one of the Amazon region's worst droughts in decades.
Scientists say water levels have fallen to a 30-year low, creating difficulties for river transport - in many cases the only way of moving people and goods.
Many towns along the world's second longest river have declared alerts amid fears they could become isolated.
Experts are blaming climate cycles, not global warming, for the drought, which has also led to enormous fires.
Brazilian meteorologists think the weather in the Amazon is affected by sunspots and water temperatures in the Pacific Ocean - factors which vary in regular patterns.
Record low
The average low for the Amazon River is 17.6m (58.1ft). But, on Sunday, the water level was measured at 16.2m (53.5ft), according to Daniel de Oliveira of the Brazilian Geological Service.
The Amazon - which is a lifeline for those who live in the river basin - is expected to continue dropping until November, he was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.
There are reports that a fuel barge headed for the city of Manaus has been stuck for two weeks because of the low waters.
Last week, 16 people were killed in a ferry accident which the captain blamed on difficult river conditions.
The dry spell is also affecting Peru, where the Amazon River at the river port of Iquitos has seen a record low.
Iquitos is reported to be experiencing long delays in the delivery of food because the river has become difficult to navigate.
True Logic:
There is true and false logic.
If what I say above and elsewhere is not to your advantage or convince you of sin, righteousness and judgment, what else said by anyone else will do so?
As simple as what I say might be, you can search the library of Congress or anywhere and you will not find another person currently or through out history who speaks what I speak the way I speak.
If it is true there was an unimaginable consciousness change after 1977 that was to everyone’s advantage then I definitely was the initiator and if it is true that there have been further previously unimaginable consciousness changes recently, it is likely that I was again involved because I did not copy my changes from anybody but I set out to behave in a way that went against convention (not smiling, not being nice, not stretching syllables, not changing speed and loudness that nobody else in this world practiced) and as a result I experienced consciousness changes that I never dreamt was possible before a few years ago. Even today, there are differences that set me apart from the rest, not as one in a coequal diversity but the diametric opposite of that myriad diversity. Whereas those who think they are smart and good still continue to act, continue smile and laugh whilst they speak, continue to stretch every syllable they utter with constant unnecessary changes in speed and loudness in the process creating renewing stress, restlessness and distraction, I don’t.
Assuming that the counselor Jesus described below is a person, if what I said is true, benefits (gives insight never conceived previously), if those consciousness changes after 1977 and recently is to your advantage, then the counselor would have to find some other ways to benefit you because I have already preempted him. And what I say accord with what Buddha said that stress and the cessation of stress is the paramount consideration. Who has shed light on what the Buddha and Jesus said as I have done?
Jesus: "If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor (like Jesus who came), to be with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; you know him, for he dwells with you (perhaps he literally lives with you when he comes), and will be (in the future) in you.
"These things I have spoken to you, while I am still with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit (the counselor is the Holy Spirit), whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things (a broad range of topics), and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you (if the church has brought you remembrance the way the counselor will, there is no need for a counselor to do so).
But when the Counselor comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness to me (it is easy to understand a physical being bearing witness but a spirit in mind only can only appear to that being and cannot bear witness to others outside of that mind); and you also are witnesses, because you have been with me from the beginning (the counselor comes later).
But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your hearts. Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you (the counselor must bring you advantage. If there was a consciousness change in 1977 and recently and what he says brings you insight that reduces your stress and restlessness as nobody else has done, that certainly is to your advantage).
And when he comes, he will convince the world concerning sin and righteousness (goodness) and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world (mankind) is judged (when the counselor comes, the close of the age and judgment may be at hand). "I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now (did a consciousness change make you able to bear what you previously did not? If so, this consciousness change did not occur by itself but was triggered by a person). When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth (there are other sources of truth, namely the Buddha); for he will not speak on his own authority (he appears like a person speaking on his own authority but it is not so), but whatever he hears he will speak (if the counselor knows everything he will not need to hear) and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you (if the church has glorified Jesus, has taken from what is his and declared it to you, there is no need for another counselor to come; if what the counselor says is similar to what the church says, he is superfluous). All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
