Force, Emotions & Acting:

Force, Emotions & Acting:
It is this powerful, even monstrously strong force of going against self residing in the minds of all ordinary people that is the blind and often implacable drive of all acting through speech, motion, thinking and perception with its impossible simultaneous attention dividing combo of substance and style that has mindless unnecessary constant changes in speed and force (loudness) that leads without fail to stress, restlessness and distraction that gets worse with age and will culminate in mad logic, mad violence, mad restlessness and mad distraction or daze if it is not negated.
Why do people act? The purpose of acting is to deceive others, to get along, more specifically to falsely please, impress, intimidate and dominate others in order to get what one wants. As much as people like to think they are such genuine and honest or decent people, acting that is what they ALL do ALL THE TIME is totally false and designed to put on a show, to be nice not true or good to others.
So accomplished and accepting are people of their deception that they believe they are genuine and good when they are forcefully nice with constantly stretched syllables and constant unnecessary changes of speed and loudness even when they whisper or think they speak calmly.
If you allow a dangerous criminal into your house you must always assign a security guard to constantly keep an eye on and limit what mischief or harm he might be doing; you will be a fool and will not last long if you permit the dangerous criminal unfettered freedom. In the same way, this mental force of going against self cannot be allowed to reign unopposed but it must be constantly modulated and resisted by the force of self preservation so that the force of going against self cannot harm that being too much or fatally.
This force of going against self that must be constantly antagonized by the force of self preservation can be compared to a mythical snake with a head at either end each always pulling the snake with its other head or force in its direction and whatever act of going against self can only proceed if the force of self preservation pulling in the opposite direction has been neutralized and the act is brought to an end when the force of self preservation becomes strong enough to negate and even pull the snake in the opposite direction.
Before an act in saying or doing something false designed to be nice not good to others can begin, it must decisively overcome the force of self resistance that then continues to resist the act and will not desist until the act comes to an end. It is this constant forceful tug of war between these two mutually antagonistic forces that is the source of great energy expenditure, conflict and tension that leads to stress that when irresolvable because the person keeps acting, leads to restlessness and thence distraction.
Whilst the force of self preservation always pulls in the opposite direction as the force of going against self, actors never set it upon the force of going against self and in order to exit tormenting, mind warping and degrading acting, the being must mobilize his force of self preservation to attack his force of going against self in a battle of attrition or progressive effacement gradually weakening the force of going against self until it expires and there is no need for the force of self preservation anymore. Either you coexist with your mental force of going against that you can merely control and will inevitably lose control in a crisis or old age or you extinguish it by setting your force of self preservation on it in a fight to the death.
Because a person who does not act does not say or do anything that goes against self ease to deceive (please, impress, dominate or intimidate) others, he has no need to use force to force himself to say or do those things and there is no forceful self resistance needed to resist and limit that act.
Just as however exalted or lowly the electrical fixtures in a house, they are all powered by electricity and they are rendered useless without electricity, similarly all the emotions (anger, hate, fear, sadness, depression, like and dislike, lust, pride and shame, greed, covetousness, jealousy, doubt and uncertainty are all powered by the mental force of going against self, they are little more than the power of going against self dressed up in fancy clothes to suit the occasion and they are all deflated with the cessation of all mental force.
Anyone who is constantly stressing himself to say or do things to please, impress, dominate and intimidate others must feel ashamed of himself, must hate himself that he cannot accept and therefore must banish and substitute with inordinate pride for self and things he identifies with. If you keep stressing, distracting yourself, keep making yourself restless, you must have endless fear because you cannot escape a killer that is yourself, you must feel insolubly sad that sinks into depression because you are your worst enemy.
The stronger and more rapidly accelerating your force of going against yourself and the more frequently you exercise it, the stronger and more rapidly accelerating will be your fear because the force of against self is a killer for yourself as it is a killer for others who have the misfortune of interacting with you and all evil people cling to their dear lives here and are therefore fearful their force of going against self will do them in. What you see of macho men’s bravery is their mask of imperturbability forcefully & stressfully concealing their fear that the right application of force can break down to reduce tough men and women to hysterical, weeping wrecks. Because fear has strength, it can be conditioned in the mind and be displaced beyond the actor’s wishes maddeningly to more and more targets to fear (where previously they didn’t generate fear) and so evil men who have powerful forces of going against self are beset by increasing numbers of rational and then irrational fears, they become paranoid. All tyrants eg Mao, Stalin, Hitler were noted to be intensely paranoid.
As the Buddha said, feelings are passive sensations that can only be pleasant, unpleasant, neither pleasant nor unpleasant that the person feels upon contact through the sensory media (sight, sound, smell, taste, touch and thought) and they disappear on cessation of contact. Whenever people who are actors feel, their mental force immediately latches on, they forceful cling or forceful like and try to prolong sensations that are perceived as desirable, they forceful recoil and dislike what contact that is perceived as unpleasant.
It is OK to feel and what existence is all about but it is sinful and suffering (but perverted actors delude themselves it is pleasure) to be emotional. Emotions are mental forces whilst feelings are passive sensations on sensory contact. All emotions are harmful because they apply force to the mind or brain warping and degrading it. A warped mind tends to behave in a warped way and the more warped the mind becomes the harder is it to exit emotions and acting. Because actors are distracted and preoccupied by their distresses regarding the world, they fail to perceive that their minds are slowly degenerating (increasing poor concentration, cannot think straight, more delusions clutter the mind, they are more constantly and more strongly emotional) as a result of their constant often violent abuse until it is too late.
Whatever acting in speech, motion, thought and perception must be performed through a common final pathway of individually varied or customized stretching of syllables with constant changes in speed and loudness/force. It is the characteristic way each person (forcefully) stretches his syllables and (forcefully) changes speed and loudness that defines his style that can be imitated by others. It is this constant (not frequent) changes in speed and loudness that is mesmerizing, that becomes forcefully autonomous that is the root of the restlessness that torment all actors.
Whoever whose speech and motion either voluntarily or involuntarily has constant changes must suffer from restlessness that will not remain static but will increase in severity with age. Because all ordinary people display constant changes in speed and loudness, they are heading for mad restlessness. Anyone who suffers regular bouts of restlessness should take note of future certain torment.
Because nobody can simultaneously pay attention to render the style and substance of what they want to say or do, they must either frequently switch their attention between the two, therefore habitually forcefully dividing their attention (this is the mode when learning a new act) or they soon graduate to rendering both substance and style by rote from a mental jukebox (this is the standard and most ‘efficient’ mode to render acts that have become old hat). The danger of rendering by rote from a mental jukebox is the risk of mad rendering against the actor’s wishes, first intermittently but becoming more malignant with old age degenerating.
Therefore the person who cannot give up his manner of speaking or moving that has constant combination of substance and style that cannot be both mindfully rendered simultaneously is constantly dividing his attention or constantly mindlessly or absent mindedly rendering his behavior in an act he does not realize he will pay dearly in torment when his jukebox will madly play his recorded tunes without authorization.

Teaching the truth is not a simple matter of disseminating information but the problem that may be insurmountable is that it often falls on deaf or uncomprehending or misapprehending ears. As the passage below indicates, people who are receptive to the truth that liberates them may be a distinct minority, even rarity:

Then the Blessed One, having encompassed the awareness of the entire assembly with his awareness, asked himself, "Now who here is capable of understanding the Dhamma?" He saw Suppabuddha and thought, "This person here is capable of understanding the Dhamma." So, aiming at Suppabuddha the leper, he gave a talk on generosity, virtue, heaven; he declared the drawbacks & corruption of sensual passions, and the rewards of renunciation. Then when he saw that Suppabuddha’s mind was ready, he gave the Dhamma-talk peculiar to Awakened Ones, i.e., stress, origination, cessation & path. Suppabuddha, sitting in that very seat, the dustless, stainless Dhamma eye arose within him, "Whatever is subject to origination is all subject to cessation."

The fool & the wise person:
The Buddha: "A person endowed with bodily, verbal & mental misconduct is to be recognized as a fool.
"A person endowed with good bodily, verbal& mental conduct is to be recognized as a wise person.
It is not what you think of yourself or need to impress others with that make you a wise person but anyone who misbehaves himself in speech, body and thought is a fool. He is a fool because he is headed for eternal punishment, for suffering the Buddha said is as vast as an ocean and as long as an eternity.
And all misconduct in speech, body and thought are forcefully performed with constant unnecessary changes in speed and force that harms self and others by creating stress, restlessness and distraction.

Different Styles:
If you asked 10 people to read a certain passage, it is certain they will all read it with a different style that can be characterized by the different ways they stretch their syllables, different ways they change speed and loudness, apart from different accompanying facial and hand gestures.
If you asked them to repeat reading, it is likely that there will be remarkable consistency in the ways they read.
What they read or the substance of their speech in this case is identical. The differences in the speeches by different people in this case are merely due to the differences in styles between them. It is style otherwise they would all stretch their syllables and change speed & loudness in an identical way.
It has to be rendered in each person by rote (each person has characteristic memorized ways of pronouncing each word and rendering their sentences) otherwise each reading will be appreciably different, not substantially identical.
The importance is that these individual styles are unnecessary, consume considerable energy to render, create unnecessary stress, restlessness and distracts the reader and the listeners from the substance of the speech. Further, because it is actually rendered mindlessly standardized from a mental jukebox, it is delegating a parrot to say what you want to say, in danger of mad rendering either intermittently under duress or chronically when that jukebox inevitably degenerates.

Style Is The Mega Piece In The Substance Style Combo:
If substance and style can be compared to two contiguous pieces of a jigsaw puzzle stuck together and presented as a single piece to gullible, naïve and distracted fellow actors who don’t discern, then the style piece is invariably many times the size of the substance piece. The style piece is always false for show and the substance piece is often also false (eg a lie or sarcasm, leaning forward or crossing one’s legs stylishly or seductively to express attraction) such that the waste of energy creating unnecessary stress, restlessness and distraction involved in fabricating and rendering the style component is prodigious or profligate, never minimal or acceptable. Because even when the actor is silent or motionless, there is style and added force in his thinking and perception, he is constantly profligately consuming vast amounts of unnecessary energy acting many times the energy a non-actor consumes.
Even when people are speaking softly, the style component reflecting the energy needed to constantly stretch syllables and fluctuate speed and loudness, the dramatic mid sentence pauses, speed ups and slow downs as a sentence unfolds, the accompanying facial and hand expressions that may be trace but significant, all consume energy that may be quite a few times larger than the substance component.
And when people launch into animated, emotional speech with dynamic complex fluctuations in speed and loudness, floridly stretched syllables, forceful facial & hand expressions (gesticulations), repeated words (eg yes, yes, yes instead of merely yes) and unnecessary wordiness, the energy wasted on the style component may be even astronomical compared with the substance component.
PEOPLE WHO ACT DO NOT REALIZE THAT THEIR BASELINE MENTAL & BODY STATE HAS RESIDUAL FORCE, STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND DISTRACTION LIKE AN ENGINE THAT NEVER STOPS BUT ONLY IDLES. THEY SEVERELY UNDERESTIMATE THE ENERGY THEY WASTE FABRICATING & EXECUTING THE STYLE COMPONENT IN EVERYTHING THEY SAY, MOVE, THINK OR PERCEIVE. THE STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND DISTRACTION (INABILITY TO CONCENTRATE) THEY ARE AWARE OF ARE ONLY THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG WHEN STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND DISTRACTION BECOME TOO STRONG FOR THEM TO IGNORE. AS A RESULT THEY SERIOUSLY UNDERESTIMATE THE ROLE THEIR ACTING PLAYS IN THE PHYSICAL MALADIES THAT AFFLICT THEM. STRESS AND RESTLESSNESS ENGENDERED BY THEIR STYLE COMPONENT MAY BE FAR MORE IMPORTANT IN THE ETIOLOGY OF THEIR LUNG CANCER THAN SMOKING THAT THEY CONVENIENTLY BLAME.
Metta Sutta: Good Will
The Buddha: "Monks, for one whose release of awareness through good will is cultivated, consolidated, and well-undertaken, eleven benefits can be expected. (Anyone who is an actor constantly forcefully stretching his syllables with constant changes in speed and loudness, creating stress, restlessness and distraction for himself and others is not a man of goodwill except in his abiding delusion)
"One sleeps easily (if you suffer from insomnia, it is warning of perdition thereafter), wakes easily (if you struggle to wake up, it is warning of future suffering), dreams no evil dreams (nightmares are warning of sin). One is dear to human beings & non-human beings. The devas (angels) protect one. Neither fire, poisons nor weapons can touch one. One's mind gains concentration quickly (if you struggle to gather your concentration, it is a sign of danger). One's complexion is bright. One dies unconfused (if you are easily confused now, you are likely to die confused) and -- if penetrating no higher -- is headed for the Brahma worlds (heaven).
The reason fire, poisons (toxins and carcinogens) and weapons can touch ordinary people is because their awareness (consciousness) is not released through goodwill, they believe in protecting themselves by carefully watching their diet, their health, they believe in their bodies, their afflictions and their lives here that they do not realize is false, acted, poisonously nice not good to themselves and others.
Routines:
Ordinary people all have routines like getting up, tidying up, washing themselves and going to work, office routines, etc.
However, not only are they routines (the same daily chores) but these routines are invariably performed with uncanny rigid fidelity (almost identical each time and actors are upset if they depart from their own protocol or step by step way of doing something), reflecting they are ritualistic or performed by rote from memorized ways to proceed.
People like to think they are such genuine, flexible real time people, not distracted automatons or parrots but if you watch them go about their routines, you could almost predict exactly what they will do and say, how they will do and say it. Even just hearing the approaching footsteps or a cough can tell the discerning who is approaching.
For instance, if you are familiar with a person, you can predict that each time he brushes his teeth he is going to emit loud explosive guttural grunts and spitting where another person will be quiet as a church mouse. If you are familiar with a colleague doctor, you can predict how he will approach a patient, address and go about examining the patient.
The importance of rote routines is that they are forcefully conditioning their minds and rendered from a mental jukebox that can turn malignant. It is also practicing rituals and faith in rituals and precepts which according to the Buddha, is one of three lower fetters to future states of woe.
(If people think carefully, they may recall that they have on occasions rehearsed what they wanted to say before they met someone important eg what to say on a date or when receiving his prize on stage. This is actually forcefully recording what to say to be rendered by rote later instead of mindfully with singular attention saying without style, without previous orchestration or fabrication what you want to say at that moment. Because it is prerecorded and inflexible, when the time comes to say, it may turn out inappropriate for the occasion but because there is strong impulse, the actor blurts it out anyway and feels sensitive that he might have made a fool of himself)

Accelerating Acceleration Is Not Hype:
Why is accelerating acceleration not hype?
Just as it is possible to accelerate at different constant rates (eg 1,2,3,4 m/sec/sec), it is possible to keep increasing or decreasing one’s rate of acceleration either gradually or sharply.
You can move at a constant speed of 4 meters per second or you can move with a constant acceleration of 4 meters per second per second. You can subsequently progressively change your rate of acceleration to 6, 8, 10 meters per second per second. This is accelerating acceleration and therefore it is not hype to say that people do not just accelerate in speech or when driving their cars but they often speak and drive with mild to violent accelerating acceleration, thereby substantially increasing the intensity of restlessness they will experience.
In contrast, it is untenable to rebel against rebellion because rebellion is not an entity that one can rebel against.
A car or motorbike taking off sounds harsh because of the violent accelerating acceleration in speed (pitch of the sounds) and loudness. When people stab another, it is done with accelerating acceleration. All jerky movements eg grabbing, snatching, seizing, slamming are done with accelerating acceleration. Speech sounds stabbing or explosive (eg screaming, shouting) because of accelerating acceleration in speed and loudness. When an orchestra goes into a deafening crescendo, it may be because it is an accelerating acceleration of speed and loudness. When people panic or sound very excited, they are moving and vocalizing with accelerating acceleration that they cannot control. Someone’s speech and motion only sound or appear urgent or frantic because of accelerating acceleration that though people cannot discern, they are capable of experiencing in empathy.
A grin or giggle may appear and sound so infectious because there is not just acceleration but accelerating acceleration in speed and force in the movements of the facial muscles.
What is the point of defining and identifying accelerating acceleration?
The importance is that accelerating acceleration is the ultimate more virulent more tormenting form of the practice of constant unnecessary changes and the guilty person is now practicing largely involuntarily a terminal tormenting form of restlessness.
People who manifest accelerating acceleration may be hardcore addicts of constant change, their urges and impulse may be too strong to reverse and they are doomed. Just like it is very difficult to catch a falling knife without being cut, it is difficult if not impossible to reverse accelerating acceleration compared to mere acceleration. Again, the capacity for accelerating acceleration is like terminal cancer whereas the capacity for merely accelerating is relatively early stage cancer that can be successfully treated.
BECAUSE CONSTANT CHANGE IN SPEED AND LOUDNESS IS UNNECESSARY BUT NECESSARY ONLY FOR SHOW, IT HAS TO BE INITIALLY FORCED ON THE PERSON BY HIMSELF AND OTHERS BUT BECAUSE IT IS FORCEFUL, IT IS REINFORCING OR ADDICTIVE LIKE ALCOHOL. THUS ADDICTED, WITH A MINDLESS URGE TO KEEP CHANGING OR BE RESTLESSNESS, SEEING NO WRONG IN THEIR BEHAVIOR, OTHERS TELL THEM THEY ARE OK, EVEN GREAT, THEY CAN ALWAYS COPE, ULTIMATELY SUBDUE WHATEVER EPISODES OF INTENSE RESTLESSNESS THAT ARISE, THEY THINK THINGS WILL ALWAYS REMAIN THE SAME WHEN THEIR RESTLESSNESS IS GETTING MORE INTENSE AND EASY TO AROUSE WITH CONSTANT PRACTICE, THEIR POWERS OF SELF PRESERVATION ARE BEING STRETCHED TO ITS LIMITS AND WILL FAIL IN DUE COURSE BECAUSE IT IS OVERWHELMED OR IT IS DEGRADING WITH AGE AND ABUSE, PLUNGING THEM INTO THE AGONY OF UNCONTROLLABLE RELENTLESS INTENSE RESTLESSNESS THAT THEY HAVE NOBODY TO BLAME EXCEPT THEIR HEEDLESSNESS AND LACK OF CONSCIENCE AND CONCERN FOR THEMSELVES AND OTHERS.
PEOPLE ARE ONLY COPING WITH THEIR RESTLESSNESS WITH THE HELP OF DAILY SLEEP (HOLIDAYS EG WEEKENDS) AND CARE NOT TO EXPOSE THEMSELVES TO OVERSTIMULATION BUT BECAUSE THEY HAVE ALWAYS SUCCESSFULLY GONE AGAINST THEMSELVES TO CREATE STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND DISTRACTION, THERE IS A FEARFUL TEMPTATION TO REALLY DO THEMSELVES IN, TO CUNSUMMATE THEIR URGES TO HARM THEMSELVES INSTEAD OF TURNING BACK AT THE LAST MOMENT. HEREIN IS THE SOURCE OF THE SADOMASOCHISM THAT MUST AFFLICT ALL ACTORS BUT NOT NON ACTORS WHO NEVER GO AGAINST THEMSELVES.
WHATEVER IS SUBJECT TO CONTROL (CONSTANT FORCEFUL CHANGES IN SPEED AND LOUDNESS) IS SUBJECT TO LOSS OF CONTROL AND CONTROL WILL ULTIMATELY BE LOST, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. THE FOOL WHO IS CONSTANTLY STRUGGLING TO CONTROL THE RESTLESSNESS HE KEEPS RENEWING FOR HIMSELF DOES NOT REALIZE HE IS DOOMED, FIGHTING A LOSING BATTLE LIKE THE FOOL WHO KEEPS BAILING OUT HIS LEAKING BOAT INSTEAD OF PLUGGING THE LEAK. WHATEVER IS NOT SUBJECT TO CONTROL (PASSIVE, EFFORTLESS CONSTANCY IN SPEED AND LOUDNESS) IS NOT SUBJECT TO LOSS OF CONTROL AND AGONY.
Every time you act or behave with constant unnecessary changes in speed and force you are actually tightening a noose around your neck and people are only periodically loosening that noose when it gets too tight not realizing they are getting used to it and resting tightness of the noose is now much stronger than in the past. Because it gets tighter and tighter, it becomes harder to remove completely should the person so desire, so most people with little concern of conscience can’t be bothered. If they can see that the noose will ultimately strangle them in terrible agony, they might get off their backsides and tackle it with more urgency and purpose.
A Vicious Circle:
Because calm and restlessness are mutually exclusive, every moment spent in restlessness is every moment’s conditioning of restlessness so that it gets easier and easier to rise and harder and harder to exit whilst calm is harder and harder to rise and easier and easier to exit. Because it is hard to arouse calm, you have to sit still, not move and talk for some time before calm will arise whilst your inner restlessness keeps pestering you to move for no reason at all, restlessness people are disinclined to meditate, not realizing that they are depriving themselves of pleasures far superior to pleasures of the senses, according to the Buddha.
Because I have practiced calm persistently for a long time, restlessness is now harder and harder to arouse in me and easier and easier for me to exit whilst calm clear thinking gets easier and easier to summon and harder and harder to exit.
Restlessness is always suffering, it is the irresistible urge to keep moving, speaking and thinking that nags and distracts the mind whilst calmness is never suffering but always effortless clearly thinking unification of one’s consciousness. You are a great fool that after a lifetime of practicing restlessness, when restlessness is getting easier and easier to arouse, more intense and harder to exit, you are heading for safety in old age and thereafter. Instead, in keeping with the trend, restlessness will get more intense and harder to exit until it becomes totally mad or permanent.
Irritation:
Anyone who experiences irritation applies force on his mind that harms it, making it easier to become irritated in the future and conditioning his mind to force. How many people realize or can see that they are applying force on their minds that is to their harm when they get irritated, when they screw up their faces however slight to express irritation to themselves or others? You may not think much of a little stress in expressing irritation but drop by drop is the pitcher filled, all these minor applications of force add up to become big stress in due course.
In any case such expressions of irritation are seldom voluntary but as a result of lifelong practice, it is involuntary or an automatic reaction to provocation. It takes a dedicated person to constantly pay attention and put a stop to all expressions of irritation until it becomes extinct.
Therefore the wise person will learn to suppress his irritation such that it fades with increasing ease until a day will come when he will no longer be irritated by anything perturbing in the world at all.
Desire too is force, whoever stirs desire (greed, lust, attraction) in his mind is stirring force in his mind that leads to stress, restlessness and distraction. The more intense the desire, the more intense the force applied that warps and degrades that mind the fool is unaware.

Comment: If you want others to think again, you want others to entertain doubt in them so what you want them to think again had better be true and important. Leave others to decide whether they want to think again or not. A person who lets his yes be yes only merely says, “Khaizatul is not your ordinary housewife because she races a motorbike’. In this way, you avoid asking people to better think again with karma not merit attached. It is because the person is domineering or bossy, emotional and trying to incite others to ‘wow’ that he speaks thus.

Accelerating Acceleration

Accelerating Acceleration:
To forcefully accelerate in speed and forcefulness in speech or motion at a constant rate of acceleration itself always induces restlessness in that person’s mind, so to further accelerate one’s acceleration in speed and forcefulness in speech and motion is to further increase, perhaps exponentially amplify the intensity of one’s restlessness.
As a result of his abusive behavior, the sinner experiences stress that then forces him to lash out in a way with violently accelerating speed and force that only intensifies his stress. As a result of practicing constant changes in speed and loudness in speech, he becomes restless that forces him to lash out forcefully so that he is soon accelerating his acceleration instead of just accelerating his speed and loudness in speech.
It may be the truth that even when they are speaking and doing things sedately, many ordinary people are already not just accelerating at a constant rate but accelerating in speed and force/loudness at a mildly accelerating rate and when they are really ‘worked up’ they then accelerate in a rapidly accelerating way. They do not accelerate at a constant rate.
Accelerated acceleration represents a higher level of controlled restlessness that is flirting with mad restlessness.
The sounds that people (even women) make with their cars or motorbikes when they take off or pass by can be quite disagreeable, harsh or distracting. The reason it is so is because they hold their gears far longer than is necessary and they do not just accelerate at a constant rate but they accelerate at an accelerating rate.
It is possible to accelerate or build up speed gradually at a sedate rate and then maintain that speed constantly but people, reflecting they are stressed, harassed and harbor ill will, often if not always accelerate with acceleration that is accelerating in a crescendo like manner that is particularly harsh to the ear of any listener and distracts. Even though they suffer as they abuse themselves and their machines mercilessly with accelerating acceleration, they do not realize they have grave debts to pay for distressing others with the way they drive.
Not only do people not drive or speak or move at constant speed, they never accelerate at constant rate but they accelerate at an accelerating rate that is particularly harsh to the ears or eyes.
Accelerating acceleration is the maximum rate of forceful unnecessary insane change that is physically possible; if it was physically possible to outdo even that, goats will have discovered it and it reflects that goats are at their wits ends that they mindlessly accelerate with accelerating acceleration not only when they drive but when they speak (that is how speech sounds very urgent, the accelerating acceleration of speed and loudness as the sentence unfolds).
When you grab or snatch at something, there is rapid, even accelerating acceleration of force and speed culminating in a climax at contact.
Accelerating acceleration is the crucial ingredient of impulse which is irresistible or cannot be thwarted once triggered in the mind whilst urge is merely a constant acceleration to do or say something to please, impress, intimidate or dominate others that can be negated if sufficient counterforce is applied.
Accelerating acceleration in speed and force in speech, motion and thought represents the limit of controlled restlessness that can be practiced and impending mad uncontrollable violent restlessness culminating in suicide or homicide.
No Other Way:
There are only two mutually exclusive ways to behave. There are no other ways.
Either you can speak, move, think or perceive (see, hear, smell, taste, touch) in a forceful manner that constantly applies force to your mind to progressively warp and degrade it, that leads to recurrent bouts of stress that never remains static but grows in intensity and ease of arousal with constant practice that will end in agony and ultimately kill you or you speak, move, think and perceive in a manner that is not forceful, that has no added force and does not apply force to your mind to stress, warp and degrade it.
Either you speak, move, think or perceive with a simultaneous combination of style and substance that forces you to constantly divide your attention between the two (eg juggle your attention between smiling and speaking) or render them (smiling whilst speaking) by rote from a mental jukebox vulnerable to corruption or you speak, move, think or perceive without style with single passively undivided attention all the time.
Either you (forcefully) stretch all your syllables and change speed and loudness (force) to greater or lesser extent whilst you speak, move, think and perceive that is de facto practicing controlled restlessness that will lead to bouts of uncontrollable restlessness or you don’t.
(Whilst it is possible to behave with permutations of the three variables of a) either stretching and not stretching syllables, b) either changing speed and not changing speed, c) either changing loudness and not changing loudness in speech, it is never seen in this world but stretching syllables, changing speed and changing loudness always occur together, are always constant never intermittent. The reason is because stretching syllables with constant changes in speed and loudness are always mindlessly rendered across the board automatically from a mental jukebox and such intricate juggling of permutations is only possible in a person who is himself not a mindless actor but being a attentive non actor, he can by paying full attention demonstrate in isolation singularly all these permutations that sound distinctively different from each other.)
For one who sees correctly, though it is possible to speak, move, think and perceive without force, without the combination of substance and style, without stretching syllables or constant changes in speed and force (loudness), all people and animals in this world behave in ways that are all forceful, applies force to their minds, behave in manners with a simultaneous combination of substance and style, stretch all their syllables with constant changes in speed and loudness.
Stretching syllables with constant changes in speed and loudness is always forceful, always applies force on the mind no matter how softly or slowly it is spoken, is totally unnecessary except for show, wastes prodigious amounts of energy creating insoluble stress and restlessness that leads to distraction whilst not to stretch one’s syllables and not to change speed and loudness is the only permanent cure from unnecessary stress, restlessness and distraction.
(According to the Buddha, there is no issue that is more pressing confronting a being than stress and he said the noble person has abandoned restlessness and is concentrated not distracted in mind. If what I say above is true, I have spelt out in no uncertain terms the way to the permanent exit from stress, restlessness and distraction, the counselor Jesus spoke of must similarly address this matter if he is to teach you all things, be an advantage for you to come and convince the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. Throughout the ages nobody has come to this realization even when it is possible then as now to do so, nobody today will speak this truth or publicly discuss this topic (how they stretch their syllables and change speed and loudness) with each other, let alone that they will spontaneously come into insight this truth, so what are the chances that someone from this world will spontaneously come to this realization?)
Just a few years ago it would be unthinkable for me and I would be lying if I were to say that it is possible to exist (even in this world) in a mental state that is (effortlessly, no force is required) released from stress, restlessness, distraction and sadness but now even though others still suffer stress, restlessness and distraction, I have known and tasted for myself what a calm, clearly thinking state it is to exist without even a shadow of stress, restlessness and distraction.
The permanently changed mental state I experienced after 1977 was inconceivable, I never previously dreamt was possible and incomparably more joyful and saner. If it was conceivable, I knew it was possible, I would have changed much earlier.
Again the consciousness changes in recent years with its permanent deliverance to me from sadness, anxiety, worry, giddiness, headaches, restlessness, stress and distraction was inconceivable, I never previously dreamt was possible to exist in just a few years ago. If it was possible, I would have changed much earlier.
It is easy to be wise after the fact but it is a reflection of how momentous or unimaginable these recent changes and the changes after 1977 that nobody, including me could have dreamt beforehand that they were possible. Others may dispute what I say but if I am correct that there were momentous changes both after 1977 and in recent years that affected everyone and brought them significant relief from the previous mandatory suffering (though they still suffer now, it is by choice because they refuse to give up their self and other persecutory conduct), then they are either blind (undiscerning) or in denial.
Jules Verne and Leonardo Da Vinci foresaw the coming of flying machines but the consciousness changes in 1977 and recent years were never foreseen.
Force must be used that impacts on the mind to create stress when one stretches one’s syllables and constantly change speed and loudness which is the style that detracts and distracts from the substance of what is said.
Signs & Symptoms Of Acting:
It is not possible for a person who passively does not act to suffer from symptoms listed below and they are therefore warning signs of acting and the terrible future dangers that acting bring.
Apart from regular bouts of stress, restlessness and distraction, actors must suffer from:
Giddiness: The constant application of force on the mind is similar to the boxer who subjects his brain to repeated punches that produce giddiness.
Violent impulses: Because acting is forcefully going against oneself in the name of pleasing, impressing, dominating or intimidating others, all actors must harbor significant hate for himself and others, must harbor violent urges to lash out, that efforts to control and suppress only aggravates.
Inappropriate & silly behavior: As genuine or realistic as the speech and actions of an actor is, it is mostly rendered without thinking by impulse from a mental jukebox. Therefore in certain circumstances when the actor is harassed, he may select the wrong or inappropriate clichés or actions to execute, to his embarrassment.
Because actors are constantly going against themselves to say or do things they do not mean to please, impress, dominate and intimidate others, there is an urge to do foolish, silly or useless things, to even make a fool of themselves.
Cogwheel rigidity of speech and movements: Because acted speech and motion is a tight simultaneous synchromesh of style and substance that are so well fitted together, the cogging is usually not visible to fellow actors but under certain circumstances, this tight synchromesh between style and substance is strained and the cog wheeled rigidity or jerkiness of the actor’s movements and speech that reflects the true intense effort needed to merge style and substance becomes evident.
Emotions: Emotions can be voluntary or involuntary. Voluntary emotions are fabricated or faked to impress others, eg act sad at a funeral or act delighted or excited when you feel nothing. Genuine emotions are involuntary, nobody can be genuinely angry or hateful or greedy or fearful by choice but they are forced by mental force that they cannot resist to become emotional depending on the circumstantial trigger.
Emotions do not exist in non actors who are not forceful, who do not forcefully go against themselves to trigger forceful conflict and thence emotions that then seize actors as situations arise to do or say things that they have little control over.
Mental Blocks: All actors must experience occasions when they forget what they are saying or doing because whatever they say or do are forceful against forceful self resistance. Occasionally the forceful self resistance may overcome the force to go against self in mid sentence or deed and the whole act comes to an unceremonious halt.
Doubt & Uncertainty: Doubt and uncertainty are false emotional states of the mind that have nothing to do with reality or things as they are. If you never say what you mean, you never mean what you say, you force yourself to say or do things to be nice, you are always sarcastic, you must be beset by doubt and uncertainty that is entirely dependent on your falsity, not external circumstances.
Distraction & Dazes: Actors must experience regular inability to concentrate on matters at hand and lapse into dazes when everything is a blur, confused or they are daydreaming, detached from the here and now that they must struggle to forcefully extricate themselves not realizing that a time may come when they may be unable to extricate themselves.
All the conditions I describe above are common place or mundane to actors so that they are lulled to believe they are normal. It would be presumptuous to think that the Buddha’s mind is similarly afflicted by the conditions I describe above.
Mental Force:
Just like all the electrical appliances in a household no matter how expensive or sophisticated is dependent on electricity to power them, all emotions no matter how exquisite or coarse are dependent on mental force to function. If there existed no mental force in that mind (possible but not seen in beings in this world), all the emotions will be rendered lifeless.
Fear, sadness, depression, emotional joy, excitement, anger, hatred, greed, lust, jealousy, pride, envy, like and dislike, doubt and uncertainty may all seem real and different but they are all paper tigers dependent on air or force to inflate them, that foolish people permit force to inflate in their minds.
All emotions are involuntary mental forces that only exist in actors and drive their speech, action, thought and perception. Nobody gets emotional (angry, sad, hateful, greedy, embarrassed or proud) voluntarily but they are all seized helplessly by provocative circumstances to become emotional. Therefore the existence of emotions in a person is an indication that he is not a master of himself but a slave of mental force, specifically emotions. Only a person who is passively devoid of emotions rather than forcefully controlling his emotions is truly a master of himself. It is no loss to be permanently rid of emotion but it is an incomparable release from mental woe.
The experience of physical or bodily pain (toothache or cancer pain) too is dependent on the existence of mental force in that mind. The capacity to experience intense pain is dependent on the capacity for forcefulness or violence in that person. What the Buddha said below suggest that sharp racking pain can be endured without suffering.
Whatever is forceful, has force is conditioning. Therefore if you keep speaking or behaving in forceful ways that are false, for show, that induces stress, restlessness and distraction, you are forcefully conditioning your mind to mental states of woe that becomes increasingly strong with practice that you can only forcefully control but will ultimately run out of control.
The longer and more intense one has subjected one’s mind to stressful, restlessness inducing and distracting acting, the harder acting (with its stretched syllables, constant changes in speed and loudness) gets to shake off, the greater the temptation to drift along maintaining the status quo especially when distracted, one fails to discern that one’s stress, restlessness and distraction is getting more intense and easier to arouse with time, one is lulled to think one will always keep in control and shrug off in a relative way one’s stress, restlessness and distraction when they get too intense when one is approaching a threshold wherein one’s stress, restlessness and distraction are too malignant or implacable and one’s capacity for recovery is weakening. Thus foolish, defiant and complacent, egged on by fellow goats everywhere who encourage him to keep up his abusive behavior, he drifts along, ever conditioning, strengthening his urge to defile himself and others, approaching a cliff he cannot see that he will have to plunge down weeping when he reaches it.
IF YOU SUFFER REGULARLY FROM STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND DISTRACTION, IT IS A WARNING THAT YOU ARE NOT BLAMELESS, YOU ARE CONDITIONING YOURSELF TO SUFFERING & YOU ARE STILL STRETCHING SYLLABLES AND SPEAKING AND MOVING WITH CONSTANT UNNECESSARY CHANGES IN SPEED AND LOUDNESS. UNLESS URGENT STEPS ARE TAKEN, YOU WILL ULTIMATELY SUCCUMB TO MAD STRESS, MAD RESTLESSNESS AND MAD DISTRACTION. THE URGENT STEPS IS TO CONSTANTLY MONITOR YOURSELF FOR STRETCHED SYLLABLES, CHANGES IN SPEED AND FORCE IN SPEECH AND MOTION AND TO SWIFTLY WITHDRAW YOURSELF FROM ACTIVITIES THAT INDUCE STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND DISTRACTION (EG SOCIAL BANTER) AND MEDITATE TO REPLACE THEM WITH PASSIVE CALM CLEAR THINKING.
Kamma Sutta: Action
A monk was sitting not far from the Blessed One, his legs crossed, his body held erect, enduring sharp, racking pains that were the result of old kamma -- mindful, alert, without suffering. The Blessed One saw him.
Then, the Blessed One on that occasion exclaimed:
For the monk who has left all kamma behind,
shaking off the dust of the past, steady, without longing, Such*:
there's no point in telling anyone else.
The pain experience depends on mental force:
How intense the pain you can experience depends on how forceful you are.
A person who experiences severe pain winces his facial muscles violently, may clench his fists tightly and roll around forcefully thereby applying force on his mind. Violently wincing or clenching fists applies force on the mind causing mental pain or stress; therefore the experience of pain too is dependent on the existence and application of force to enhance or amplify it. Faced with pain, the foolish person who always applies force on his mind, has never not applied force on his mind, whose mental force rapidly accelerate in strength or occur involuntarily if sufficiently provoked), is seized beyond his control by mental force that accelerates rapidly to experience excruciating pain. It is precisely because tough brutes possess very violent mental force and no matter how they toughen themselves to endure pain, a threshold can be exceeded when they will be reduced to weepy wrecks.
Force must always be applied on the mind to stretch syllables or change speed and loudness in speech and motion. Therefore a person who constantly changes speed and force or loudness in speech, motion, thought and perception is constantly applying force on his mind, generating force that powers his emotions and capacity to experience pain.
Ordinary people do not realize they are constantly applying force on their minds without awareness like the person who is constantly kneading and squeezing a watermelon, sometimes restlessness slapping and even thumping it under provocation eg during animated sustained conversations. Like the watermelon, their brains are constantly being squashed by this incessant force that has already damaged the parenchyma and if they did not desist they are going to destroy the watermelon that is their brain and go mad.
Unless you enjoy suffering, you enjoy going mad, you should give priority to recognizing how and when you apply force on your mind. Every time you move your facial muscles when you speak or gesticulate, you change speed and loudness when you speak you are applying force on your mind. Whenever anyone frowns, grimaces, screws up his face, smiles, nods or jerks his head when he speaks, he is applying force on his mind.
If Jesus wanted everyone to know precisely who the counselor is, he would have said so in no uncertain terms.
However, the fact that Jesus spoke of a counselor indicates that he wants to inform you of a counselor to come. What is the use of speaking about a counselor that nobody could identify, who will always remain a mystery? Therefore within the concise description must be sufficient data to identify him.
All Existence Is A Taint:
The Buddha: "Such and such is virtue; such and such is concentration (the opposite of distraction); and such and such is wisdom. [9] Great becomes the fruit, great is the gain of concentration when it is fully developed by virtuous conduct; great becomes the fruit, great is the gain of wisdom when it is fully developed by concentration; utterly freed from the taints [10] of lust, becoming, and ignorance is the mind that is fully developed in wisdom."
The Buddha is saying above that becoming or existence is itself a taint.
As much as people passionately cherish their own existences, there are occasions when beset by problems and sufferings (physical and mental) when they wished they had never existed and want to end it all. But that cannot be had on a whim. As the Buddha said, there are allures to existence just as there are serious drawbacks to existence, even in heaven. Existence itself in a community of beings is a taint as the Buddha said. The only way to end all existence is the total remainderless extinguishing of all passions, all emotions through calm clearly seeing imperturbable enlightenment.

Three Urgent Duties:
The Buddha: "In the same way, there are these three urgent duties of a monk. Which three? The undertakings of heightened virtue (speech, movement and thought that do not stress, create restlessness and distract self and others), heightened mind (concentration) & heightened discernment (ability to differentiate what is true from what appears true but is false). These are the three urgent duties of a monk. Now, that monk does not have the power or might [to say:] 'May my mind be released from fermentations through lack of clinging/sustenance today or tomorrow or the next day.' But when the time has come, his mind is released from fermentations through lack of clinging/sustenance.
"Thus, monks, you should train yourselves: 'Strong will be our desire for the undertaking of heightened virtue. Strong will be our desire for the undertaking of heightened mind. Strong will be our desire for the undertaking of heightened discernment.' That's how you should train yourselves."
To Rebel Is Not Virtuous:
Rebelliousness is never a virtuous quality but it is always forcefully (harms the mind of the rebellious person) or emotionally rejecting and lashing out. The noble person passively declines to share or adopt the values; he does not display antagonism or incite others to do likewise.
To rebel is sinful conduct not to be recommended to others and to further ask others to entertain a notion that may be impossible or false, namely ‘rebel against rebellion’ is evil and flirting with insanity.

IF YOU WANT TO SAY SOMETHING WITH STYLE, YOU MUST PAY ATTENTION TO SAY IT & ALSO PAY ATTENTION TO MODULATE HOW YOU SAY IT. A GIVEN MESSAGE CAN BE SAID WITH DIFFERENT STYLES, EG JOKINGLY OR AS IF VERY GRAVE OR SARCASTICALLY, SO STYLE IS SOMETHING SEPARATE. IF YOU WANT TO SAY SOMETHING JOVIALLY, YOU MUST PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY AND AT THE SAME TIME PAY ATTENTION TO SAY IT JOVIALLY. JOVIALITY, SADNESS, EXCITEMENT, SURPRISE, POLITENESS, CONCERN, ANXIOUSNESS, AGGRESSIVENESS ARE ALL FABRICATIONS & FALSE.

JUST AS THE TWO HALVES OF A ZIPPER MUST BE PROPERLY LINED UP & FITTED TOGETHER SEQUENTIALLY AS THE FLY MOVES ALONG, SIMILARLY THE STYLE AND THE SUBSTANCE OF ANY SPEECH OR MOTION MUST BE LINED UP AND MERGED TOGETHER SEQUENTIALLY AS THE SPEECH UNFOLDS IN A PROCESS THAT DEMANDS ATTENTION & COORDINATION BUT NO MATTER HOW SLICK IT HAS BECOME TO FOOL PEOPLE IT IS A SINGLE PIECE WHEN IT IS ALWAYS TWO CONTIGUOUS PIECES OF A JIGSAW STUCK TOGETHER BUT INATTENTIVE PEOPLE FAIL TO NOTICE THE SEAM, UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES THIS ZIPPER MECHANISM CAN BE JAMMED SO THAT THE SUBSTANCE AND STYLE UNRAVEL. SPEECH WITHOUT STYLE IS SINGULAR AND DOES NOT REQUIRE MATCHING AND MERGING THAT DIVIDES THE PERSON’S ATTENTION.

NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES SPEECH OR MOTION THAT HAS ADDED STYLE HAS BEEN PERFORMED, THE EFFORT, STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND DIVISION OF ATTENTION REQUIRED REMAIN THE SAME. WHAT IMPROVES WITH PRACTICE IS THE CONSISTENCY OR SLICKNESS THAT MAY DECEIVE THE ACTOR AND OBSERVERS THAT WHAT THEY SEE OR HEAR IS NOT FABRICATED OR CONTRIVED BUT EVEN SEEMINGLY SEAMLESS AND UNFLAPPABLE SPEECH AND BEHAVIOR THAT IS A COMPOUND OF UNNECESSARY/FALSE STYLE AND SUBSTANCE CAN BE DISRUPTED TO BECOME JERKY OR HESITANT GIVEN THE RIGHT CIRCUMSTANCES (STRESS, DISTRACTION, TIREDNESS, STRONG EMOTION). FOR INSTANCE WHEN A PERSON BECOMES VERY ANGRY THE NORMAL COMPOSURE MESHING THE STYLE (STRETCHED SYLLABLES AND CONSTANT CHANGES OF SPEED AND LOUDNESS) AND THE SUBSTANCE OF WHAT HE WANTS TO SAY BECOMES STRAINED AND EVEN PARALYSED.

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DISTRACT SOMEBODY WITHOUT YOURSELF BEING DISTRACTED TOO. IF SOMEONE’S BEHAVIOR OR THE WAY HE SPEAKS DISTRACTS YOU, HE HIMSELF (WHO ALSO HEARS HIS OWN SPEECH) MUST BE SIMILARLY DISTRACTED FABRICATING IT. THEREFORE ANYONE WHO SPEAKS WITH SUBSTANCE AND STYLE THAT DISTRACTS OTHERS MUST ALSO DISTRACT HIMSELF.
SYLLABLES DO NOT STRETCH BY THEMSELVES NOR DOES SPEED AND LOUDNESS CHANGE BY THEMSELVES. IN ORDER TO SPEAK WITH STRETCHED SYLLABLES AND CONSTANTLY CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS ONE MUST PAY ATTENTION TO STRETCH ONE’S SYLLABLES AND CONSTANTLY CHANGE SPEED AND LOUDNESS WHEN ONE SPEAKS.

BECAUSE IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO PAY SIMULTANEOUS ATTENTION TO SUBSTANCE AND STYLE AND IT IS CUMBERSOME TO CONSTANTLY SWITCH ATTENTION BETWEEN THE TWO WHILST SPEAKING, AN ALTERNATIVE MUST BE FOUND AND IT IS TO PRERECORD OR MEMORIZE SPEECH THAT ARE FREQUENTLY USED (STANDARDIZED SPEECH) WITH ITS ALREADY COMBINED STYLE AND SUBSTANCE IN A MENTAL JUKEBOX TO BE THEN RENDERED BY SELECTING PERHAPS FROM AN ARRAY OF OPTIONS THAT ARE APPROPRIATE FOR THE OCCASION THE SPEECH ONE DESIRES TO MAKE AND PRESS THE START BUTTON. THIS I BELIEVE IS THE DOMINANT MODE BY FAR WITH WHICH SPEECH WITH THE IMPOSSIBLE SIMULTANEOUS SUBSTANCE AND STYLE COMBINATION IS RENDERED.

(IF PEOPLE EXAMINE WHAT THEY SPEAK, THEY MIGHT REALIZE THAT A LOT OF THEIR SPEECH IS STANDARDIZED, THEY HAVE SAID WHAT THEY ARE SAYING WITH THE SAME STYLE MANY TIMES IN THE PAST AND RATHER THAN SPEAKING REALTIME, IT IS BEING MINDLESSLY REHASHED FROM A MENTAL JUKEBOX. SOMETIMES THEY SAY SOMETHING WITHOUT REALIZING THEY HAVE SAID OR THEY WISHED THEY HAVE NOT SAID IT WITHOUT THINKING)

SPEAKING BY JUKEBOX IS LIKE TEACHING A PARROT HOW AND WHAT TO SAY AND THEN DELEGATING THE PARROT TO SAY IT ON CUE, TRUSTING THE PARROT TO ALWAYS REMAIN FAITHFUL, DO AS IT IS TOLD AND NOT OTHERWISE.

THE FACT THAT PEOPLE CAN YELL INCONTINENTLY IN UNGUARDED MOMENTS PROFANITIES LIKE ‘DAMN YOU’ THAT IS JUST A PREPACKAGED PHRASE WITH SUBSTANCE AND VIOLENT STYLE INDICATES THAT CLICHES CAN BE RENDERED WITHOUT MUCH IF ANY ATTENTION, WHETHER THE PERSON DESIRES OR NOT. THAT PEOPLE CAN SLEEP OR UNAWARE WALK AND SLEEP OR UNAWARE TALK IN COMPLEX WAYS IS AN INDICATION THAT ATTENTION IS NOT NECESSARILY NEEDED TO SPEAK OR MOVE COHERENTLY. HOWEVER, THIS STATE OF AFFAIRS IS NO BETTER THAN SPEAKING DIVIDING ONE’S ATTENTION BETWEEN THE SUBSTANCE AND THE STYLE BECAUSE IT IS MINDLESS, SURRENDERS CONTROL OF ONE’S FUNCTIONS (TO MENTAL FORCE) AND RISKS TOTAL LOSS OF CONTROL OR MADNESS WHEN THIS FORCE TURNS ROGUE.

Just as when a novice is learning a new skill like playing tennis you can see it is alien to him but when his strokes and movements have become competent you may not realize that his confident movements had to be previously painstakingly learnt, in the same way the styles in any speech and motion you see in everyone are never spontaneous but they must always be painstakingly learnt and even regularly maintained so that they do not become rusty (the are important tools of social lubrication) but no matter how slick it has become, how many times they have done it, how apparently singular the substance and style appears to be, style and substance are always separate entities that must be deftly merged by switching attention between the two or mindlessly by rote from a mental jukebox, in the process dividing the attention of the actor.

Because everything an actor does, says, thinks and perceives has substance and style that divides, his concentration is constantly divided, what varies is the degree of distraction. Until a person has truly stopped adding style (eg stretching syllables and constant changes in speed and loudness) to his behavior, he has never experienced passive, calm clearly thinking unity of concentration.

The fact that even professional sportsmen have to practice their strokes or ball skills for hours daily obsessively is an indication that their skills which in keeping with their natures as actors must also be a blend of substance and style, are not natural or stable but they must regular obsessive efforts to keep their strokes sharp. This obsessive practicing is actually needed to refine or improve and maintain the keenness or perfection of the synchronized meshing of substance and style which can slacken with disuse; there is no danger they will lose their style through disuse because style is always in use by them.

That sometimes an actor can embarrassingly forget what he was trying to say or do because he got carried away with the style of what he is saying or doing indicates that style and substance are separate entities that must be separately fabricated and merged. For instance he might want to say something in a way that is as funny as he can fabricate but he neglects to keep track of what he wants to say and the whole enterprise comes to an embarrassing halt. The usual confident stylish way with which an actor walks can be disrupted when he becomes self-conscious eg on stage, when he becomes too emotional, when he is tired or distracted (the intimidating approach of someone on the street is enough to upset the previous acted confident rhythm).
The more force he applies to the style of his motion, speech, thought or perception (eg put great force into his intimidating stare) the more forcefully is he dividing his concentration (he is improving the intensity of division he is capable), the longer he subjects his mind to severe division eg an extended animated social conversation, the better he gets at enduring tormenting division. This capacity for intense and prolonged distraction may not be frequently expressed but it remains dormant within so long as no effort is made to erase it. It can be activated explosively (not gradually) in a process that is not dependent on the strength or duration of the insult eg bad news can trigger intense prolonged distraction in some.
In the same way, stress and restlessness can arise either gradually, increasing in severity gradually in proportionate response to a stimulus but reflecting that intense and easily aroused stress and restlessness reside dormant in their minds, they too can also be triggered explosively and involuntarily by occurrences that may be idiosyncratic to that person (eg a dead body might make one person hysterical but not another).
The (constant) stretching of syllables and constant unnecessary changes in speed and loudness is the additional style (because it is possible to speak without them) that must be added on to the substance of that speech and reflecting that it is style, people stretch their syllables and change speed and loudness differently. If it was not individual style they would all stretch and vary their speed Although it is second nature by now, changing speed and loudness and stretching syllables are skills that have to be learnt, there was a time in the long distant past perhaps as children when they had to pay attention to make sure they stretched their syllables and changed speed and loudness in imitation of others, sometimes they might forget to stretch their syllables or change speed or loudness.
When the actor thinks of something he wants to say eg “I love you,” he thinks and decides how he wants to say it on that occasion eg mischievously, shyly, ‘joyously’ or seductively.
The mischievousness, shyness or seductiveness never gets into the message by itself but attention must be paid and effort made to fabricate the mischievous, shy or seductive way it is to be said and merge it into the message so that it sounds mischievous, shy or seductive.
If he is saying for the first time, “I love you” in a seductive way, he might become very anxious and his seductiveness may not be very convincing but as he practices on more victims, it becomes more convincing and the foolish girl might think he is genuinely turned on by her.
The Common Final Pathway:
Whatever styles there may be must be expressed through the common final pathway of how the syllables are stretched and how speed and loudness are changed.
For instance you express sadness by stretching your syllables in a manner with decaying speed and loudness and you express eagerness by stretching syllables in a manner with rising speed and loudness.
Whatever style there is in motion must be expressed in the common final pathway as a combination of unnecessary excursions or additions of movements done with a constant change in speed and force.
Imitation And Emulation:
Why is it always possible for a non actor to imitate an actor but it is not possible for any actor to imitate a non-actor?
It is possible for anyone (including non actors) by using force to imitate any act but it is not possible to imitate what is not an act.
The reason is because whenever an act is imitated, it is the style that is imitated and what is not an act has no style to be imitated. Further, because the actor’s mind is always divided, has never been passively united, he is forcibly detained in division that does not respond to his wish, the only thing he cannot do is fabricate substance without fabricating style. In other words his constant resident style prevents him from ever practicing substance only speech or motion without his style being first erased or effaced by a progressive dedicated course.
So long as one is willing to apply force on one’s mind, one can force oneself to imitate any style in any act that gets better with practice. Therefore a person who is not an actor can force himself to mindfully imitate what an actor does but it is not possible for any actor to imitate a non actor because there is no style for him to imitate.
You cannot imitate a non actor but one who has shed all style can emulate (follow the example of) another non actor.
THE FACT THAT AFTER A PERIOD OF DISTRACTING INTERACTION EG ANIMATED STYLE AND SUBSTANCE CONVERSATION ONE HAS TO STRUGGLE TO REGAIN A FUNCTIONAL CONCENTRATION INDICATES THAT DISTRACTION MAY HAVE HARMFUL CONSEQUENCES ON THE MIND LIKE ALCOHOL THAT MUST BE REVERSED OR REPAIRED BY THE MIND. EVEN THOUGH THE MIND MANAGES TO RECOVER EACH TIME, THERE MAY BE RESIDUAL DAMAGE THAT THE DISTRACTED PERSON FAILS TO APPRECIATE. LIKES THE FOOLISH BOXER WHO KEEPS SUBJECTING HIS BRAIN TO PUNCHES, ALTHOUGH HE RECOVERS EACH TIME, HE MAY BE GETTING MORE AND MORE PUNCH DRUNK WITHOUT NOTICING.
Switching Attention:
Whenever actors switch attention eg from one object or topic to another, they never do it at constant speed or force but they always switch attention with accelerating speed and force that in time is experienced as restlessness.
Mental force must always be applied to switch attention. And if you keep switching attention back and forth with accelerating speed and force, a mad or self perpetuating urge soon develops to keep switching attention even when the need has passed. If you keep repeatedly switching attention when it is unnecessary, the mind in time becomes shell shocked, unable to focus on anything; it lapses into a daze. As you keep doing it and keep applying greater force dividing your attention, the dazes that you can descend becomes deeper and deeper.
Together At Once:
It is likely that stress, restlessness and distraction always occur together although one may be more prominent than the others because although they are different, they are related to each other.
A person whose mind is distracted becomes restlessness and stressed. Stress leads to restlessness and distraction. Because restlessness is forceful, involves constant changes of speed and force in thought, speech and motion, it applies force on the mind that leads to stress and a mind whose thoughts are constantly unnecessarily changing in speed and force becomes distracted or unable to focus.
THEREFORE IT IS LIKELY THAT THE TRIAD STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND DISTRACTION ALWAYS COEXIST IN A MIND ALTHOUGH THEY ARE DISTINCT EVEN FUNDAMENTAL FORMS OF MENTAL SUFFERING.
TENSION AND CONFLICT ARE FORMS OF SUFFERING THAT OCCUR ONLY BECAUSE A MIND HARBOR TWO FORCES, THE FORCE OF GOING AGAINST SELF THAT MUST BE RESTRAINED BY THE FORCE OF SELF PRESERVATION TO LIMIT THE FORMER’S HARMFULNESS. CONFLICT REFLECT THE TO & FRO BATTLE OF WILL BETWEEN THE TWO VOLITIONS WHILST TENSION ARISE WHEN THEY ARE GRIDLOCKED TOGETHER WITH NEITHER ABLE TO MOVE.
DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY TOO IS A PAINFUL DISTURBED MENTAL STATE THAT CAN ONLY ARISE IN FORCEFUL MINDS WHO CANNOT SEE THE TRUTH CLEARLY AND THEREFORE BELIEVES IN ITS OWN AND OTHERS’ FALSITY. IF YOU DO NOT SAY WHAT YOU MEAN AND DO NOT MEAN WHAT YOU SAY (SARCASTIC) AND ACCEPT YOUR SARCASM AND OTHER PEOPLE’S SARCASMS AS TRUE, THEN YOU MUST BE IN DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY.
HOWEVER TENSION AND DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY MAY BE SECONDARY OR COMPOUNDED FORMS OF SUFFERING THAT CAN BE BOILED DOWN TO STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND EVEN DISTRACTION. SIMILARLY ANGER AND HATE TOO ARE FORMS OF SUFFERING THAT CAN BE REDUCED TO THE STRESS & RESTLESSNESS THAT RESULTS FROM APPLYING VIOLENTLY ACCELERATING FORCE ON THE MIND THAT INEVITABLY DISTRACTS THE MIND LEADING TO IT DESCENDING INTO A DAZE OR FIT OF VIRTUAL OR PHYSICAL VIOLENCE.
If truth all beings in this world are suffering, not enjoying themselves as they fake they do and their suffering can be distilled down to stress, restlessness and distraction (division or scattering of their minds), then whoever is the counselor Jesus spoke of must also address stress, restlessness and distraction if he is to be to your advantage to come and teach you all things. If what I said which accords with what the Buddha taught is true, then I would have rendered him obsolete by speaking so.
If stress, restlessness and distraction are fundamental sufferings that reach excruciating levels in the present, that if not erased from one’s mind will lead to certain mad stress, mad restlessness and mad distraction, leads to perdition after death, what are more pressing or relevant matters can there be?
If you are constantly dividing your attention for the sake of speaking and moving with a style you think is impressive and only desperately repeatedly reconstituting your attention to keep your sanity and ability to function adequately, might it not be presumptuous that your constant wish to divide or scatter your attention be fulfilled when you will finally be unable to reconstitute your attention either because you have divided your attention too intensely or your power of constitution has failed? You have nobody to blame should this come to pass because you are constantly dividing your attention.
The ability to divide one’s attention can be compared to diving skill. It is a potentially fatal skill that gets better and better and the fool may be tempted to push himself to his limit by diving deeper and deeper and marveling at his ability to resurface but one day he may push himself too deep or his ability to resurface may deteriorate with age and he succumbs to his folly of subjecting himself to unnecessary risk. The same applies with restlessness and stress. It is what people subject themselves and only turning back at the critical moment not realizing they are ultimately doomed.
The fact that those who indulge in a period of prolonged animated conversation that always involves speech and gestures by themselves and those they interact with that have a constantly dividing or distraction combo of style and substance lapse into a daze of varying intensity in which they cannot concentrate properly on matters at hand indicates that forceful division of attention must be forcefully reconstituted and after prolonged heedless division, the recovery process is taxed and takes time to recover and there is future danger that this process of reconstitution may fail permanently or when overwhelmed by a situational crisis and the heedful person will be well advised to desist from further subjecting himself and others to division of their attention 9eg do not speak to the teller when he is processing your transaction).
The fact that sometimes people can come to a stuttering halt in mid sentence or forget what they were saying, especially when they get emotionally involved with the style of what they are saying (they focus on how funny or stylish or well said they are saying it) to momentarily lose track of what they were trying to say (substance) indicates style and substance, no matter how well integrated or how they appear as one, are in truth separate entities that must divide the attention of the speaker who does not merely speak but speak with style, how unstylish the style is.
Whenever anyone says or does something with style eg constantly changing speed and loudness, with stretched syllables, he forces the listener to constantly divide his attention between paying attention to the style and the substance of what is being said and he is therefore persecuting his listener, distracting him. If he switches off, you are forcing him to detach himself from reality and that too is persecuting. If you do not care, you think it is done of your business, you insist the stylish way you speak is beneficial, you may be heading for debt repayment beyond your wildest imagination. If you speak to the person without style, without stretched syllables and constant changes in speed and loudness he can mindfully devote his attention to what you want to say, to the substance of your speech.
Whenever you smile whilst you speak, you force the listener to divide his attention between what you are speaking and your smiling (why smile if it is not meant to be noticed?). You don’t care do you? You insist your smiling is beneficial to your listener. When your woes start piling up you certainly will care.
If this does not convince you of sin, righteous and judgment, what else said by anybody can convince?
By saying great is the gain in concentration when it is developed by virtue, the Buddha implies that it is not possible to have great concentration without first having virtue, it is not possible for an evil man to have great concentration because their minds must be permanently scattered or easily scattered. What people see the intense concentration of athletes is the great intense brief forcefully reconstituted concentration that can nevertheless be disrupted, that is nevertheless still divided because there is added force and added style in the concentration as depicted by the fabricated facial grimness and intense stare that distracts from the concentration.
Mentally smiling:
If people pay attention to their minds, they may realize that they often smile mentally when they read or see or hear something.
Smiling is never good but it is nice, false and leads to stress and restlessness. Whenever one smiles, even mentally one must apply force on the mind that leads to restlessness and distraction. Further, one is distracting oneself when one smiles even mentally because one is doing two things, reading and smiling at the same time. Speaking as someone who is now able not to smile or even react emotionally in anyway when I read something, the mental state of calm clarity is incomparable to the former churning restlessness.
Nonsense & Future Madness:
Quote: "It would seem to make sense to think that we could see a loss of GDP growth rate in the quarters ahead of a half a percent or so," Mr Snow said late on Tuesday.
Comment: “It would seem to make sense to think” is unnecessary beating around the bush or not letting your yes be yes only and because actors believe what is garbage that they speak is full of meaning, they are headed for future madness. Suffice and it is less confusing to say “We could see a loss of GDP growth rate in the quarters ahead of a half a percent or so."
More Nonsense:
Quote Newsweek: A band so contrary that it rebelled against rebellion.
Comment: There are those who are intimidated that they think that however outrageous something is presented to them there must be some truth in it and it is their appreciation that is defective. There are those who are impressed by style to think “Wow, rebel against rebellion! How profound,” when it is nonsense. Those who utter such messages and those who are appreciative or see nothing wrong may be well on the way to future madness.
Not that it is physically possible to rebel against rebellion (rebellion is not an entity or institution or way of doing things that you can rebel against) but if you rebel against rebellion, you are essentially not a rebel and what is so (terribly) contrary about being not a rebel?
Why is a reputable magazine like Newsweek publishing such a heading? It is only because Newsweek thinks it makes sense, is witty or funny or profound that it publishes it. It reflects how foolish not wise Newsweek or those who run it is.
As the Buddha said, do not go by tradition or reputation: So Kalamas, don't go by reports, legends, traditions or scripture. When you know for yourselves that, 'These qualities are unskillful, blameworthy & criticized by the wise; these qualities when undertaken lead to harm & to suffering' -- then you should abandon them.
In accordance to what I say:
For those with eyes that see, the look of distractibility is actually visible in the eyes of all ordinary people and it becomes more severe as people age and does not need expensive research to demonstrate. People are always distracted and become more intensely distracted because of lifelong practice of substance and style behavior that permanently divides their behavior, lifelong heedless doing more than one thing at a time (eat and talk) that finally overwhelms their weakening force of self preservation.
Distractions 'hit ageing memory'
An inability to ignore distractions is the main reason why older people have memory problems, research suggests.
A team at the University of California, Berkeley, used scans to examine the brain's ability to concentrate in adults aged 19 to 30 and 60 to 77.
They found the older people had no problems focusing on relevant information - but could not effectively shut out competing distractions.
Lead researcher Dr Adam Gazzaley said: "Difficulty filtering out distractions impacts a wide range of daily life activities, such as driving, social interactions and reading, and can greatly affect quality of life.
A Vivid Description Of The Stress Reaction:
The vivid description of the stress reaction in the article below is a reminder that stress is never pleasure but even torment.

Research shows there is such a thing called a stress reaction and it is highly disagreeable, can be rapidly aroused by seemingly innocuous triggers and is hard to shed afterwards, especially those afflicted by chronic stress.
Stress only exists in a mind that harbors force, that adds force to whatever it says, does, thinks and perceives (see, hear, smell, touch and taste). Stress is the result of force acting on a mind and if a mind does not allow force to impact on it, there is no stress.
The only reason violent stress can seize a mind suddenly eg on seeing a tiger (or your wife if you are henpecked) is because on seeing a tiger he becomes intensely fearful for his life and in becoming intensely fearful, he applies intense force on his mind that triggers an immediate intense stress reaction. Fear is mental force or is powered by mental force and if you have no force in your mind, you have no fear.
Being caught in a traffic jam can make some people rapidly boil over with rage and then experience severe stress. The reason is because they have experienced many previous jams to which they have reacted with anger that they somnolently did not realize was increasing in strength & ease of arousal such that they become very intolerant. Again when you become angry you apply force on your mind that triggers stress. If you become rapidly violently angry, you apply intense force that triggers intense stress.
The only permanent exit from stress is to recognize force in its every guise and eliminate it from one’s mind, to not use force or add force to whatever one says, does or thinks. Ordinary people do not realize they are very forceful emotional people and there is appreciable added force even when they think they are being gentle.
Stress: A blight on modern life

"My muscles get more and more tense (mad, unnecessary change in force), my heart's getting faster and faster (mad unnecessary, uncontrollable increase in speed), there's a pain in my chest - I'm a gibbering wreck'. (it is because you constantly practice controlled unnecessary speed and loudness changes that your body also changes unnecessarily, uncontrollably)
"When it comes to bedtime I'm tired and try to make myself go to sleep, but I can't, my mind is racing and my thoughts whirling."
These are the words of John and Anne and what they are describing are the all too familiar symptoms of stress. (Suffice to say familiar, the ‘all too’ is said unnecessarily and falsely. Something can only become very familiar, never too familiar. Again people far underestimate the falsity they are guilty of.)
Stress is a constant theme in our lives.
It is the second biggest cause of time off work and is estimated to cost the country £13bn a year.

(Just the thought of something eg deadline to meet is enough to cause stress to rise precipitously indicating that stress is virtual, in the mind and not proportionate to the strength and duration of stress inducing input)
Simulating stress
But researchers at a unique stress research facility in the Integrative Neuroscience and Endocrinology at the University of Bristol have found a way.
An individual's blood pressure and heartbeat are recorded before and after they breathe an air mix containing 35% carbon dioxide for four seconds.
Normal air contains just 0.03% of this gas. This (breathing 35% CO2) prompts an acute - and automatic - physiological stress response.
At the start, my heartbeat was 54 per minute and my blood pressure a healthy 110/65.
I knew I was safe, but my body disagreed violently - it thought I was being suffocated.
My blood pressure shot through the roof - to 193/65. I felt sick and panic stricken. It was horrible.
But a couple of minutes afterwards, I was back to normal again.
The initial but dramatic rise is normal. In those who are chronically stressed, the return to normality is much slower.
"Their body is able to turn their acute stress response on, but is not as good at switching it off again," said Professor Stafford Lightman, director of the Bristol unit.
As Professor Simon Wessely, of King's College Hospital says, an acute stress response is actually good news: "It allows you to react to an emergency."
A bear jumping out at you in the street will prompt a flood of the stress hormones, first adrenaline and then cortisol, preparing you for fight, flight or fright.
Robert Sapolsky, professor of Biological Sciences at Stanford University and the world's leading stress researcher, summarised it like this.
"Your body is turning off all the long term building and repair projects. It's do it tonight, if there is a tonight'.
"So blood pressure soars, more body fuel in the form of glucose is made available, the immune system is enhanced.
"It's a wonderful adaptation should you come across a bear. But too much of a good thing and you're in trouble."
Why People Cannot See:
If a person can see completely or clearly how he stretches his syllables and change speed and loudness, he would put a stop to it because it is tormenting, leads to stress, restlessness and distraction. It is because people cannot see, even those who think they are good and intelligent fail to discern in its entirety how they constantly do so that they continue to do so after much demonstration by me.
There are many reasons why people find it hard to see in its entirety or the complete extent to which they stretch their syllables, change speed and loudness when they speak.
If you are intent on manipulating others, you cannot give it up, there is greed and ill will in you to exploit others, it is understandable you do not tell others the secret tools of your trade, how you bamboozle or overwhelm others with incessant, forceful emotional stretching of syllables, forceful emotional changes in speed and loudness that divides their attention thus preventing them from paying full attention to the false substance of what you say. If you do not want to tell others the tricks of your trade, it pays and facilitate your shenanigans if you similarly cannot see your deceit, you also make yourself blind to the deceits you are perpetrating otherwise you might be stricken by guilt and be self conscious. Therefore there is a chronic willful refusal to see the precise mechanisms of deceit, the constant stretching of syllables with attendant constant speed and loudness changes until now they become truly blind, cannot see just as fish that live in the depths of the ocean lose sight of their eyes and become albino because colorful skins are useless in an environment where there is little light.
When you want to cheat someone, you must hide your intent from him by various ploys including the method of delivery that distracts his attention. In order to better hide your intention from others, it pays that you also hide your intention, your awareness of your modus operandi even from yourself, you forcefully deny to yourself that the stretched syllables and constant changes in speed and loudness are not intended to deceive and distract but they are essential, you stress yourself and make yourself restless to speak thus because you are such a wonderful self sacrificing guy. Because people cannot give up their deceit, they refuse or cannot to see how they are stretching their syllables and changing speed and loudness because that will give their game away and impair their performance.
There is such a thing as true and apparent make believe acted out intelligence, true and apparent make believe acted out goodness. If your intelligence or discernment, your virtue is apparent than real or you are poorly endowed with them and you are engrossed in worldly pursuits in which knowledge of how you make yourself suffer detracts, then it is unsurprising you cannot see the full extent of how you are abusing yourself and others.
Another important reason is that the stretching of syllables, speed and loudness changes are very complex or complicated, they occur rapidly at multiple, not single levels or layers and this overwhelms their ability to keep track or see in its entirety the stretching of syllables, speed and loudness changes they are perpetrating. Every syllable is to greater or lesser extent always stretched, sometimes so rapidly people who do not pay attention think their syllable is not stretched. Every stretched syllable is never stretched at constant speed and loudness but speed and loudness always increases or decreases even rapidly whenever people stretch their syllables, adjacent syllables are spoken at different loudness and speed, people tend to accelerate in speed and loudness from start to finish of their sentences.
Another indication that style and substance are separate is that actors’ gait and speech can become hesitant or cogwheel like when it is put under the spotlight eg in stage fright or when they feel self-conscious. The usual confident aggressive strides can become jerky on the catwalk or when someone approaches the actor in the street. Normally the substance and style of the walk is well merged but when the person is self conscious or distracted by the intimidation of someone suddenly approaching, the former confident merging of the style and substance of the walk becomes compromised.
Everyone in this world bombards each other with audio visual stimuli that have constant changes in speed and loudness and even though they are unaware that this is so, such incessant bombardment keeps them harassed by stress, restlessness and distraction that is an important barrier to them paying full undivided attention to the way they speak.
People are already permanently seized by stress, restlessness and distraction that never completely depart them and thus seized, they are actually compelled to stretch their syllables and change speed and loudness like driven mechanical robots. In another way, you can say their minds are already seriously and permanently warped by past abuses that thus warped, drives them to continue their self and other abusive behavior that they firmly believe is good for themselves and others.
Put in another way, stretching syllables with constant changes in speed and loudness are never mindfully premeditated and passive but there is considerable mental force that is difficult to placate without great effort that propels people to automatically stretch their syllables and change speed and loudness.
If people can see into the future and see what is in store for them later, then many more will sit up and take notice, make more determined and urgent effort to examine themselves more carefully for misconduct.

Concentration & Distraction

Concentration & Distraction:
THE PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TASK OF FORCING THEIR MINDS TO PAY ATTENTION TO MORE THAN ONE ACTIVITY AT A TIME IS WHAT PEOPLE DO ALL THE TIME WITHOUT REALIZING THEY DO BECAUSE EVEN WHEN THEY THINK THEY ARE DOING JUST ONE THING THERE IS STILL A SIMULTANEOUS COMBO OF SUBSTANCE AND STYLE TO WHATEVER THEY SAY, DO, THINK OR PERCEIVE THAT ARE SEPARATE ENTITIES (STYLE IS NEVER PART OF SUBSTANCE BECAUSE SUBSTANCE CAN EXIST WITHOUT STYLE) THAT MUST BE SEPARATELY SYNTHESIZED AND THEN MERGED AS A CONVINCING COMBO AND THIS IS THE ONLY REASON WHY THEY MUST BE CONSTANTLY NOT FREQUENTLY DISTRACTED. ACTORS FAR UNDERESTIMATE THEIR DEGREE OF DISTRACTEDNESS AS THEY DO WITH THEIR STRESS AND RESTLESSNESS AND ARE ONLY AWARE THEY ARE DISTRACTED WHEN IT IS QUITE SEVERE.
DOING MORE THAN ONE THING AT A TIME IS A SIN, HARMFUL TO SELF AND OTHERS AND NOT A BLAMELESS INDIVIDUAL PREFERENCE OR ADMIRABLE ABILITY.
Drivers get into accidents whilst talking on their hand phones because it is not possible to pay full attention to two things at once but they must always forcibly, stressfully & restlessly alternate their attention rapidly precariously in the nick of time between the two activities OR they do both forcibly without paying attention by rote from a prerecorded mental jukebox (mindless acting). Attention does not switch by itself to and fro but mental force must always be used to switch attention back and forth between driving and talking on the phone which would be unnecessary if one did only one thing at a time.
Therefore whenever the person tries to pay attention to more than one thing at a time, he is applying force on his mind that in time becomes painful (he feels stress) and he is forcefully painfully dividing his attention. In order to preserve his self ease and sanity, he must again use force to reunite his consciousness as soon as possible in a process he does not realize is doomed to ultimate failure because his ability to divide his attention improves with practice, the intensity of the division or distraction he is capable increases on every occasion he successfully applies more force to his division of his consciousness whilst his ability to recover becomes increasingly harassed or stretched to the limit or it weakens with aging.
People frequently smile while they talk; no one can mindfully smile whilst they also mindfully talk but instead the smiling is rendered mindlessly mechanically like the background bass drum thump, thump, thump of a (harassed) one man band as he concentrates more on his crucial trumpet tune and he has to keep switching his attention to the various instruments he is playing at crucial moments if his cacophony is not to unravel.
Similarly (though it may be harder to discern) no one can pay undivided attention to fabricate what they want to say and simultaneously pay undivided attention to fabricate the constantly changing speed and loudness with stretched syllables with which it is said but they must either rapidly forcefully alternate their attention between the two or do both mindlessly by rote. (In real life, people pay no attention to the style of their speech which is why they are not aware they stretch their syllables with constant changes of speed and loudness all the time and they only pay occasional attention to the hackneyed things they have said so many times before from a mental jukebox)
Why speak with added style if it is not intended to be noticed? People do want others to admire their style as well as the substance of what they say and in the process they do not realize they wickedly want listeners to do the impossible; pay attention at the same time to what and how they say it. Because this is not possible, listeners are forced to rapidly alternate their attention between the style and substance of what they hear or they switch off, which they often do.
Apart from the needless stress, restlessness and distraction exacted on the speaker and listener, there are two future dangers involved in this state of affairs.
Because distraction is harmful and dangerous, whenever one forcefully divides one’s concentration (to impress others with one’s style or greedily do more than one thing at a time), one must forcibly limit this forceful division so as not to over harm one’s mind and also after a period of forceful distraction one must forcefully reconstitute one’s divided concentration to retain some sanity and address situations that require the maximum concentration one is capable of eg sitting for an exam or driving a car on a twisty road on a dark and rainy night.
But as a result of lifelong constant dividing of one’s attention between the substance and style of one’s speech, motion and thoughts in addition to frequently doing more than one thing at once (eg talk whilst eating) one becomes increasingly good and dividing one’s attention, the division becomes stronger and harder to forcefully reverse, the foolish actor does not realize he is fighting a losing battle and is headed for the agony of control failure and severe distraction as in a daze, like patients in mental hospitals.
Because no one can render simultaneously the style and substance of what they want to say or do, they must have a prerecorded mental jukebox to render mindlessly either or both the style and substance of what they want to say or do. This mental jukebox can & will ultimately fail to then render incontinently, inappropriately whatever speech and deeds they have recorded so well so often in the past.
There are two kinds of exacerbated distraction that all those who act must experience. One type is gradual, dependent on the duration and strength of distraction eg after animated conversations in social functions, the person finds himself unable to concentrate, unable to register input afterwards, his mind scattered no matter how he tries to shake it off and force himself to but given time and rest, his mind recovers. Another type is catastrophic, for example there is some devastating news or event and the person is immediately distracted, unable to concentrate. These events indicate that the person is an owner of intense distraction that can be immediately triggered by a suitable stimulus and distraction is progressive, gets worse with prolonged and intense exposure and recovery from distraction is a laborious process that may not always succeed.
IT IS PARTLY BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE CONSTANTLY BEING DISTRACTED BY THEIR OWN AND OTHERS’ SIMULTANEOUS STYLE AND SUBSTANCE COMBO THAT THEY CANNOT SEE THE TRUE NATURE OF HOW THEIR CONDUCT IS HARMFUL NOT BENEFICIAL TO THEMSELVES AND OTHERS. BECAUSE OF THEIR SINFUL CONDUCT OF SPEECH, BODY AND THOUGHT, PEOPLE ARE HARRASSED BY THE TRIAD OF STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND DISTRACTION THAT THEN DRIVE THEM HELPLESSLY TO FURTHER DEBASE THEMSELVES AND OTHERS.
WHENEVER ONE’S CONCENTRATION IS FORCIBLY DIVIDED EG FOR THE SAKE OF IMPRESSING OTHERS WITH A SIMULTANEOUS SUBSTANCE AND STYLE COMBO, IT MUST BE SUBJECT TO CONSTANT SELF PRESERVING CONTROL THROUGHOUT SO AS NOT TO OVERCOOK OR OVERDIVIDE ONE’S CONSCIOUSNESS AND IT MUST THEN BE FORCIBLY RECONSTITUTED BACK TO UNITY AS FAR AS IS POSSIBLE BECAUSE A DIVIDED ATTENTION IS PAINFUL AND DANGEROUS (EG ACCIDENTS HAPPEN TO DISTRACTED PEOPLE). BECAUSE DISTRACTION IS FORCEFUL, EVERY MOMENT’S RESIDING IN DISTRACTION IS EVERY MOMENT’S CONDITIONING OF IT AND ON ANY OCCASION ONE FORCEFULLY INTENSIFIES ONE’S DISTRACTION, ONE IS DEEPENING ONE’S CAPACITY TO EXPERIENCE INTENSE DISTRACTION, THEREFORE THE NATURAL TENDENCY IS TO FORCEFUL RECONSTITUTE ONE’S CONCENTRATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WHEN FORCEFUL DISTRACTION IS NO LONGER REQUIRED, SO AS TO MAINTAIN ONE’S SANITY. BUT AS ONE’S DISTRACTION BECOMES EASIER TO INDUCE AND MORE INTENSE WITH PRACTICE AND AGE, IT GETS HARDER TO CONTROL AND EXIT AND THE FOOL DOES NOT REALIZE HE IS HEADED FOR A RECKONING WITH A MAD PERMANENT INTENSE DAZE HE CANNOT SHAKE OFF.

Like stress and restlessness, distraction is another fundamental and separate form of mental suffering that afflicts all beings (including animals) in this world and they are likely not even aware their usual consciousness state is scattered or divided except when it becomes quite troublesome.
Although stress, restlessness and distraction are connected with each other (stress can lead to restlessness and distraction) and often occur together, they are quite distinct entities.
Distraction is never a passive state of the mind but it is always a forceful conditioned dividing or scattering of the consciousness and the antithesis of passive, effortless noble concentration or unified consciousness. In order to exit the suffering of distraction, it must be first recognized even in its mild state and then painstakingly reversed or effaced by a gradual process.
Distraction is not something that happens to people some times but it is the unwitting, unrecognized default consciousness state of people with forceful minds. Because they are used to being distracted all the time, they are insensitive to its presence and they forcibly resist and control/limit their distractibility, they become aware they are distracted only when it becomes quite severe that they cannot concentrate even when they repeatedly force themselves to with pressing matters at hand or they are in danger of embarrassing themselves publicly (eg they forget what they were saying in a public speech).
(In the same way, ordinary people experience stress and restlessness all the time but because they are so used to their baseline stress and restlessness, they have significant appetite for stress and restlessness and they forcibly ignore stress and restlessness in favor of worldly pursuits, they only become aware of stress and restlessness when they become too severe to ignore. For instance a person will deny he is restless when questioned when his leg is shaking or he is twirling a lock of hair incessantly)
Do not underestimate the importance of distraction because the Buddha has in many ways and on many occasions emphasized concentration (the opposite of distraction) with wisdom and virtue as the three interrelated fundamental pillars that define a being:
The Buddha: "Such and such is virtue; such and such is concentration (the opposite of distraction); and such and such is wisdom. [9] Great becomes the fruit, great is the gain of concentration when it is fully developed by virtuous conduct; great becomes the fruit, great is the gain of wisdom when it is fully developed by concentration; utterly freed from the taints [10] of lust, becoming, and ignorance is the mind that is fully developed in wisdom."
By saying ‘Such and such is virtue; such and such is concentration (the opposite of distraction); and such and such is wisdom’ the Buddha is saying is that contrary to common opinion that virtue, concentration and wisdom is indefinable or subjective, virtue, concentration and wisdom can be clearly defined and they are not negotiable.
“Great becomes the fruit, great is the gain of concentration when it is fully developed by virtuous conduct” might sound lofty or inspiring but how many understand why what the Buddha said is true?
The Buddha is saying that virtuous conduct and concentration are connected and virtuous conduct fosters concentration and great is the concentration to be gained when it is fully developed by virtuous conduct.
Why is that true?
All speech, bodily and thought misconduct must be performed (unwittingly) with a simultaneous combo of substance that often also false (eg sarcasm) and style that has constantly changing speed and force (loudness) with stretched syllables that divides or distract the attention of the perpetrator and incites others to be restless. Only speech and behavior that has no style, no constant changes in speed and loudness that distracts, stresses and induces restlessness is virtuous. Because the virtuous conduct does not forcibly divides his attention, great is the gain in concentration when it is fully developed by virtuous conduct.
Virtuous conduct is conduct in speech, body and thought that does not harm self and others. In one who truly does not harm himself and others rapture that is not of the flesh arises. In one whose mind experiences rapture, serenity or calmness of the mind arises. One whose mind is thus calmed becomes concentrated.
As one becomes more virtuous, his noble passive effortless concentration correspondingly becomes greater.
The Buddha then says that the wisdom to be gained when it is fully developed by concentration is great.
With one’s attention that is constantly forcibly divided, scattered (by one’s simultaneous combo of constantly changing speed and force style and substance, one is harassed, cannot see things as they truly are (poor discernment). Only when one’s mind has become effortlessly united or centered, not forcibly united can one become effortlessly clearly seeing and thinking (great wisdom). Therefore great is the wisdom when it is fully developed by noble concentration.
GREAT CONCENTRATION IS THE FRUIT OF GREAT VIRTUE AND GREAT WISDOM IS THE FRUIT OF GREAT CONCENTRATION AND GREAT WISDOM HAS ENLIGHTENMENT, THE ABOLISHMENT OF ALL IGNORANCE AS ITS ULTIMATE DESTINY.
Enlightenment is not a state of nihilism or make believe, as the Buddha said:

"With his mind thus concentrated (concentration is crucial to enlightenment), he directs it to the modes of supranormal powers. He wields manifold supranormal powers. Having been one he becomes many; having been many he becomes one. He appears. He vanishes. He goes unimpeded through walls, ramparts & mountains as if through space. He dives in & out of the earth as if it were water. He walks on water without sinking as if it were dry land. Sitting cross-legged he flies through the air. With his hand he touches & strokes even the sun & moon. He exercises influence with his body even as far as the Brahma worlds. Just as a skilled potter could craft from well-prepared clay whatever pottery vessel he likes, in the same way -- with his mind thus concentrated, -- the monk directs & inclines it to the modes of supranormal powers.

"With his mind thus concentrated, he directs it to the divine ear-element. He hears -- by means of the divine ear-element, surpassing the human -- both kinds of sounds: divine & human, whether near or far. Just as if a man traveling along a highway were to hear the sounds of kettledrums, small drums, cymbals. He would know, 'That is the sound of kettledrums, small drums, conchs, cymbals, and tom-toms.' In the same way -- with his mind thus concentrated, he hears -- by means of the divine ear-element, both kinds of sounds: divine & human, whether near or far.

He discerns a mind with passion, and a mind without passion. He discerns a mind with aversion, and a mind without aversion. He discerns a mind with delusion, and a mind without delusion. He discerns an excelled mind, and an unexcelled mind. He discerns a released mind, and an unreleased mind.

He sees -- by means of the divine eye, -- beings passing away & re-appearing, and he discerns how they are inferior & superior, beautiful & ugly, fortunate & unfortunate in accordance with their kamma: 'These beings -- who were endowed with bad conduct, held wrong views and undertook actions under wrong views -- after death, have re-appeared in the plane of deprivation, in hell. But these beings -- who were endowed with good conduct, who held right views, after death, have re-appeared in the good destinations, in the heavenly world.' Just as if there were a tall building in the central square [of a town], and a man standing on top of it were to see people entering, leaving a house, walking, and sitting in the square.

"With his mind thus concentrated, the monk directs it to the knowledge of the ending of the mental fermentations. He discerns, as it is actually present, that 'This is stress... This is the origination... This is the cessation ... This is the way leading to the cessation of stress... These are mental fermentations... This is the origination... This is the cessation... This is the way leading to the cessation of fermentations.' His heart, thus knowing, thus seeing, is released from the fermentation of sensuality, becoming & ignorance. Just as if there were a pool of water in a mountain glen -- clear, limpid it would occur to one, 'This pool of water is clear, limpid. Here are these shells, gravel, & pebbles, and also these shoals of fish.'
Another Unwitting Sarcasm:
Quote: Thanks to Mr. Bredesen's leadership, Tennessee is dumping nearly 200,000 residents, some of them desperately ill, from TennCare, the state's Medicaid program.
Comment: You must be a disturbed man if you think your thanks for someone what has done harm to your causes is sincere. Therefore his thanks is not sincere or he is being sarcastic, probably without being aware. One speaking rightly might say, “Due to Mr Bredesen’s leadership, Tennessee is dumping nearly 200,000 residents, some of them desperately ill, from TennCare, the state's Medicaid program.
If people examine themselves carefully they might discover far more sarcasms than they concede because to be sarcastic or mocking is an attitude. Such utterances like ‘oops, har, huh, hey, hmm, well’ are all false or meaningless except to express emotions.
Fact Or Presumption?
There may be those who say that the fact that Pat Robertson apologized public indicates he is not all bad but can be quite decent. Whilst it may be so, the statement is based on presumption (a defilement of the mind according to the Buddha) than fact.
It is presumptuous to think that his apology is motivated by contrition because he may be trying to limit fallout; he stuck a foot into his mouth and is trying to make the best out of it.
Willful Refusal To See:
It is no surprise but understandable that even though they stretch their syllables all the time, they change speed and loudness all the time, they are not aware they do so, let alone that they can see this is the key to the stress and restlessness that they must constantly experience.
If I were to ask someone who is supposed to be very intelligent and even good after he has just spoken to tell me whether he realized he stretched all his syllables and spoke with constant changes in speed and loudness, it is likely if not certain that he is unaware and if it was demonstrated to him precisely how he stretched his syllables and changed speed and loudness, how his speech would sound like if there were no stretched syllables, no speed and loudness changes, it is likely that he would be indignant or feel affronted.
Therefore people are very sensitive, proud of the individual ways they speak and cannot see that the ways they speak creates unnecessary stress and restlessness for themselves and others.
Not only can they not see themselves stretching syllables and changing speed and loudness, they willfully refuse to see and get affronted if it is brought to their attention.
As Margaret Thatcher once defiantly said, “This lady is not for turning” and Jesus said “If they will turn so that I may heal them”, there is very strong, even violent implacable force to go against yourself and if you are determined to go against yourself, to hurt yourself, it helps if you forcefully refuse to see yourself doing so, you refuse to pay attention to your stretching of syllables, constant changes of speed and loudness because if you can see yourself changing speed and loudness, you might soon realize it is mad and creates needless restlessness. Initially you force yourself to harm yourself but very soon, you are forced beyond your control to keep doing it, the more you keep doing something, the better you get at it, the more you cannot help doing so. Actors have graduated from having to force themselves to being forced to keep changing speed and loudness.
A String Of Coincidences?
Even if anyone was to deny that there was an extraordinary consciousness change after 1977 (that nobody could have dreamt was possible beforehand) and further extraordinary consciousness changes in recent years (that again, nobody could have dreamt was possible beforehand) that affected and benefited everyone to greater or lesser extent depending on how they still continue to sin and therefore still suffer, if you watch movies and listened to songs before 1977, you may discern that even then people were all stretching their syllables and speaking with constant (unnecessary) changes in speed and loudness.
How come throughout the very long history of mankind it did not occur to anyone that they were all stretching their syllables with constant unnecessary changes in speed and loudness and that this was the only source of the restlessness that universally tormented them? How come it never occurred to Einstein who discovered relativity and E=MC2 that he was constantly stretching his syllables with unnecessary changes of speed and loudness that was the only source of the restlessness that surely beset him? Which would you prefer, knowledge that E=MC2 or a permanent exit from restlessness and suffering? How come everyone and not some practiced constant stretching of their syllables with constant changes in speed and loudness when it should be possible then as now to practice not stretching syllables, not changing speed and loudness when speaking? Therefore, it must be some monumental achievement to discover this truth. I know what I say is true because I have experienced a permanent release from restlessness that I previously could not imagine was possible in this world since I mindfully stopped stretching my syllables, mindfully stopped changing speed and loudness speaking.
Although people crave wealth, fame and sensual pleasures, they were in truth all suffering and even tormented by stress, restlessness and distraction. What greater advantage could there be than if someone pointed out the only true way out of stress, restlessness and distraction that if left on its own will lead to certain madness?
If it was merely coincidence, there are many (not one person) with a similar potential to initiate these changes, then it should be that one man will triggered the previously inconceivable consciousness change in 1977 that affected everyone, another who will elucidate what Jesus and the Buddha said in a way no predecessor or contemporary has done, yet another who will trigger the equally remarkable previously inconceivable consciousness changes in recent years and again someone else will be the first to announce the astonishing news that stress and restlessness are not mandatory to existence but it is possible to exit stress by not applying force on one’s mind, to exit restlessness permanently if one did not stretch one’s syllables with constant changes in speed and loudness. It must be quite some sheer coincidence that what is described above that surely nobody could conceive was possible before they happened never happened through the long course of human history and when they happened today, it fell on one person to do so and it is an indictment of the world that these events are left totally unacknowledged.
Just as throughout the long history of mankind and even today when it is possible to stop acting, to stop stretching syllables, stop moving and speaking with constantly changing speed and loudness and nobody has done so, even those who think they are good and smart continue to do so somnolently after I demonstrate to them how they have just changed speed and loudness and are even crossed, it may not be possible for anyone except the counselor to do or say the things Jesus said the counselor will do. There may be something fundamental in the nature of beings in this world that render them incapable of displacing the counselor.
