Global credit crunch will hit Malaysians:

Malaysians from big to small have borrowed recklessly, heavily to finance dubious enterprises, consumption in goods, cars & houses and Malaysian banks have lent recklessly, heavily to finance dubious enterprises and consumption in pursuit of profits and so with the drying of credit, Malaysia and indeed ‘squeakily’ clean Singapore too will be hit badly.

Anyone who thinks the current global crunch will not hit Malaysia, at least not directly or severely may be foolish. It will hit Malaysia even severely, only the tremors have yet to reach these shores in palpable strength.

The current global credit crunch is like a replay of the 1997 East Asian Crisis, only that this involves the master puppeteer himself (the US) and is of a far more systemic, grave and even fatal or terminal scale.

Whatever reforms after 1997 in Asia were minimal (essential to placate creditors) or cosmetic and instead the same crony infested opaque dealings & plunder by the rich persist, things were swept under the carpet away and it was not competence and conscientiousness that won the day but it was the passing of the crisis of confidence that led to the panic withdrawal of money from Asian banks (by the partial return of greedy global money) plus America being the fraudulent locomotive of consumption sucking in imports that saved the day for Asian economies.

Now America and the developed economies (esp UK & Australia) are engulfed in a financial crisis with a loss of confidence that threaten to reduce credit to a trickle starving business of funds on a scale that many economists say is beyond the capacity of governments to avert.

So you think Malaysia will be quite insulated from this storm? On the contrary, Malaysia itself still has credit bubbles (housing, cars, credit card) and severely leveraged big borrowings by cronies to fund absurd projects that this global credit crunch will deliver the coup the grace.

Air Asia may be taken as an example. It has been a high flier seemingly from nowhere probably because there are powerful people behind it. In has expanded aggressively buying (with credit) many new planes that Air Bus are only too eager to furnish and arrange credit with European banks because all they are interested is a buyer for their planes and European banks are eager to lend to make more money. Even without the rise in fuel price and likely drop in passengers from a world recession, the business model of Air Asia and their ilk may be suspect, running on a tight margin and so it may not be surprising if they will fail in the future. The owners have made a lot of money from listing, kickbacks buying planes, etc and they will not be the ones bearing the losses but it will be people whose money is in the banks that have been lent out recklessly who will sustain the losses.

Think of the excesses where people are buying cars without deposits and credit card companies pursuing people to apply for cards and a housing market that remains active that are signs people are committing themselves to debt, banks are desirous of lending that if reckless, may mean lent money that may be lost and a credit crunch.

You think your money in the bank or EPF is there but it may be all gone, lent out foolishly perhaps under political duress and now irretrievably lost, stashed away in Swiss accounts in Swiss banks like UBS who may have themselves lost it by investing in subprime loans.

Always nice or nasty:

Whether it is a casual passing contact like a wink or smile at a stranger on the street or the most intellectual intercourse on an academic subject, people are always nice, nasty, nice in a nasty way or nasty in a nice way (sarcastic) to each other, often without knowing they are doing so and thinking they are good to themselves and others being so.

You can only be nice or nasty if there is a simultaneous force transmission in how you stretch your syllables, change speed and loudness in an (musically) eager or harsh way that makes the other person like you or like himself (nice) or hate you or hate himself (nasty).

If you are being nice to another person (smiling and talking in a musical eager style) and you cannot see it, you are a fool who does not know what he is doing.

If you can see your nice style and think it is charming, good for yourself and others when it harms yourself and others with stress, restlessness and distraction that leads to sadness and hurt then you are deluded and that is not the way to heaven but to eternal perdition.

Being nice to someone or speaking or doing things with a style that has prolonging, changing speed and strength of force that is intended to stir that person’s mental force of going against self to like you or like himself is like plying another person with alcohol that inebriates him before presenting him with a proposal that you want him to agree to.

IT IS UNFAIR TO PLY SOMEONE WITH ALCOHOL BEFORE YOU PROPOSE SOMETHING YOU WANT FROM HIM AND SO IF YOU STIR A PERSON’S MENTAL FORCE TO LIKE YOU OR HIMSELF TOGETHER WITH YOUR PROPOSAL OF A FAVOR FROM HIM, YOU ARE EVIL NOT GOOD. THE FACT THAT YOU PERCEIVE YOUR SMILING, MUSICALLY SOFT GENTLE STYLE OF SPEECH IS GOOD REFLECTS ADVANCED FALSE PERCEPTION THAT WILL END IN MAD PERCEPTION.

Stirring someone to like you or him:

If there is a style in the way you speak and it makes the other person like you or himself, then you have succeeded in stirring his mental force (of going against self) to like himself or you and thus liking which is blind and based on force, he is more likely to agree to your proposals that he otherwise might decline if his mind was not under the influence of attractive force.

THUS MAKING SOMEONE LIKE YOU OR HIMSELF BY YOUR STYLE IS LIKE A BRIBERY AND A PLYING OF SOMEONE WITH ALCOHOL TO MAKE HIM INEBRIATED AND MORE PLIABLE TO YOUR MANIPULATIONS.

Going for broke:

I have said all along that mankind was going for broke (they will not be denied or deny themselves) in terms of financial and economic matters & environmental abuse and so it is that the extended economic boom in the world may not because it is based on sound fundamentals and new technological progress but reflects that mankind is going for broke, driving the car to the ground and now it has finally reached near broke and it is starring at the abyss.

Karma will pursue you:

Karma will pursue you wherever you are, however long it takes.

It is reported that Moggalana, one of the Buddha’s two deputies had to be bludgeoned by rival religious fanatics in repayment of a past karma. No matter how he made himself invisible assassins came to seek him and he finally exposed himself and after being bludgeoned he survived to bid the Buddha goodbye before passing away to nirvana.

Thus this woman who apparently had her throat pierced by the barb of a flying stingray whilst standing on a boat may not be a mere victim of an accident but it may be the stingray extracting revenge for a past deed.

Thus the wise person would avoid create karma that has to repaid in pain and in order to do so, one must see clearly what is right and wrong.

The trouble with a lot of people is not that they do not believe in right and wrong but they are deluded, they believe that are creating merit when they are creating karma when they are nice, stylish or smile to others.

Woman killed when ray leaps onto boat

A STINGRAY leaped onto a boat off the Florida Keys and knocked a woman to the deck, killing her, wildlife investigators said.

"It's a bizarre accident," said Jorge Pino, an officer with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

The US woman and her family were aboard a boat in the Atlantic Ocean, off the city of Marathon in the Florida Keys, he said.

"A large ray jumped out of the water and collided with the victim," Mr Pino said.

The impact threw the woman backward and she hit her head on the vessel, he said.

Investigators initially said one of the animal's venomous barbs had stabbed her, but they later said there was no sign of a puncture.

An autopsy was pending.

"We believe she died as a result of the impact between herself and the spotted eagle ray," said Gabriella Ferraro, a spokeswoman for the wildlife commission.

The 35kg ray and had a wingspan of 1.5m to 1.8m, Ms Ferraro said.

The boat was travelling about 40km/h when the ray collided with the woman, killing both, she said.
Investigators identified the woman as Judy Kay Zagorski, 57, of Pigeon, Michigan.

Spotted eagle rays are common in warm or tropical waters and are often seen near coral reefs. They can grow to more than 2.5m across and have two to six short, venomous barbs near the base of their whip-like tails, according to the Florida Museum of Natural History's website.

The rays often swim near the surface and can leap out of the water, especially when pursued, but are generally shy of humans.

"All rays leap out of the water from time to time but certainly to see one collide with a vessel is extremely unusual," Mr Pino said.

In 2006, a spotted eagle ray leaped onto another boat in Florida waters off the Fort Lauderdale area and pierced the heart of an 81-year-old man with its barb. He survived.

Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, was killed by another type of stingray while filming underwater on the Great Barrier Reef in 2006.

He died when a stingray's barb pierced his heart.

Easter? Oh wake me when it's over

CATHERINE DEVENY | I don't want to offend anyone (actually I do), but let's be honest here, Easter's never really taken off. Two thousand years and it's still the B team of religious celebrations.

Comment: It is pretentious, condescending or sarcastic to say ‘wake me up when it is over’ and that is grave sin not fun or neutral. It is impossible that she is asleep but she wants to ignore Easter as if it does not exist when it does and pretentiously asking you to wake her up.

By saying actually she wants to offend when she earlier said she did not she has made herself a liar and stirred uncertainty in herself and others that either is true. She is admitting that she can be dishonest by saying let’s be honest here. Honesty is not something someone can switch on and off at will but dishonesty is driven by force and the person who is dishonest is dishonest everywhere because her ever present style is false and harmful and so she is false all the time except in her false perception that she can choose to be honest sometimes.

She is laughing or mocking when she said ‘oh wake me up when it is over’ and that is hurtful so her honesty here is not quite honest. Dismissive-ness is based on dislike which is force not reason and there is no honesty in what is about force without reason or dislike or dismissive-ness.

Wake me up when it is over:

If you mean what you say ‘wake me up when Easter is over’ you mean you will go to sleep and when Easter is over wake her up.

Because it is impossible she is going to sleep for the duration of Easter, she did not mean what she said but instead she falsified to exaggerate what a boring or non-event Easter is. She thinks she is very clever saying that but you have false perception if you think that wake me up when it is over is the same as I find Easter boring or a nonentity.

Wake me up when it is over is a form of derision and that is sin and it is false because she is not truly going to sleep. Going to sleep during Easter does not mean it is boring or whatever it is supposed to mean (because it can be interpreted in many different ways you are sinning by sowing uncertainty in others).

Why should you or anyone go to sleep because something is boring or a non event and why should going to sleep mean something is boring? Thus you are unrighteous or false to equate sleeping and waking with Easter being insignificant or boring.

YOU MAY BE RIGHT IT IS HARMLESS, EVEN FUN AND YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO SAY 'WAKE ME UP WHEN EASTER IS OVER' TO EXPRESS YOUR OPINION IT IS A NON EVENT BUT IT MAY BE THE TRUTH THAT YOU ARE CONDITIONING YOURSELF TO MAD PERCEPTION, TO PERCEIVE THAT 'WAKE ME UP WHEN EASTER IS OVER' MEANS NOT WHAT IT STATES BUT EASTER IS SO BORING YOU ARE GOING TO SLEEP AND YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WITH FUTURE MAD PERCEPTION OF WHAT IS FALSE IS TRUE.

The Meaning Of Oh:

Every word has an ascribed meaning that can be clearly defined although it may take on other meanings that may be totally different from its original meaning as a result of the perversion of men.

In its original meaning, “O” is to address someone, to draw his attention or say “Listen” as when Jesus said to Peter, “O man of little faith, why did you doubt?” in which “O” means listen or take heed.

However when this person said “Oh, wake me up when Easter is over” she cannot mean ‘listen’ but she meant “by the way” or “I just remembered” or “I almost forgot” and this is a perversion of oh’s original meaning. It is impossible that she truly meant to say ‘by the way’ or she ‘almost forgot’ to ask you to wake her up when Easter is over and it is a lie because she deliberately intended what she said to wake her up when Easter is over. Therefore she is pretentious or dishonest here (without realization) and yet she later says she is capable of honesty (lets be honest). She may be right that she is capable of letting herself be honest but she may be kidding herself.

Another false meaning that people have learnt (actually copied) to ascribe to ‘oh’ is to stir ‘wow’ or like in the listener eg, he was oh so good as if it is unquantifiable or incredibly or unbelievably good. The ‘oh’ here means ‘wow’!

Some people like to use ‘oh’ just to be stylish, because they perceive it is stylish or sounds nice to sprinkle ‘ohs’ in their speech. Another false meaning of ‘oh’ is to cast doubt as in “Oh, you did not realize that ah?” when oh signifies ‘really?’ or I don’t’ believe you.

It is seldom necessary to use ‘oh’ or ‘well’ in one’s speech and they actually reflect contradiction and so if you like to use ‘well’ and ‘oh’, you think they are meaningful when they are unnecessary and contradict, you do not realize you are cultivating false perception and you already possessed advanced perception that you will not relinquish that will end in future mad perception.

‘WAKE ME UP WHEN EASTER IS OVER’ LOSES NO MEANING MINUS THE ‘OH’ AND THEREFORE THE ‘OH’ IS FOR SHOW, MEANINGLESS, AN ADORNMENT THAT PEOPLE LIKE TO ATTACH TO THEIR SPEECH NOT REALIZING THEY ARE PRACTICING CONTROLLED FALSE PERCEPTION. ‘OH’ CAN BE INTENDED TO STIR EMOTION IN WHICH CASE IT MEANS ‘WOW!’, TO FALSELY SAY ‘BY THE WAY’, ‘I ALMOST FORGOT’ OR TO DOUBT ‘REALLY’ OR ‘I DON’T BELIEVE’.

YOU WILL BE WISE TO NOT TRY TO BE TOO CLEVER AND STICK TO WORDS THAT HAVE SPECIFIC MEANINGS THAT CANNOT BE INTERPRETED IN MANY WAYS SO AS NOT TO CONFUSE YOURSELF AND OTHERS, OTHERWISE YOU ARE HEAPING KARMA NOT MERIT ON YOURSELF AND HEADED FOR CONFUSION OR DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY ONE OF THREE LOWER FETTERS TO FUTURE WOE.

Such a person who uses ‘oh’ liberally without realizing it is false and nonsense may think she knows the truth, she can speak the truth as well as me or even better but she may be deluding herself. Unlike a robot, she and many better educated humans understand the meaning of words but she and her cohorts do not understand that according to the accepted meanings ascribed to the words she used, what she said is untenable or false or nonsense.

She might think she is a very original person, but she is a copycat who copies current lingo from others without knowing why. “never really taken off’” and “B team” are popular modern aphorisms that sound nice or impressive but can Easter take off like an aeroplane and what would constitute that take off? What does she mean that Easter is the B team of religious celebrations? Is it advanced false perception that she can see Easter being the B team of religious celebrations?

A crisis of confidence:

According to Krugman it is not the stock market crash that was the crux of the 1930 depression but it was the crisis of confidence that led to runs on the banks that led to the stock market that was the crux.

People deposit money and hope banks will keep them safely for the inducement of interest that they may earn and it behoves on banks not to abuse that confidence by recklessly lending the money in pursuit of profits that may be risky or in indulging in corruption (lending to cronies). Thus when it comes to public light that banks have not just abused their trust but severely so, and their money in the bank may be in danger of being lost, they may all panic and rush to withdraw and if the banks have lent out too much, they may not have enough liquidity or hard cash to satisfy demands for withdrawal and therefore crash.

Oh My God:

Depending on the situation it is used, oh my God is to express emotion, to express like or ‘wow’ or dislike (usually disguised as faked like for what is disliked) for what has happened.

Sometimes it may be to indicate disbelief. You have false perception if you perceive that Oh my God means I cannot believe. If you mean what you say then 'Oh my God' means listen or attention my God.

When you say ‘oh my God’ you are saying ‘listen or attention my God’ and if what you want God to listen to is frivolous, you are frivolously calling out his name like the boy who keeps crying ‘wolf’, usually to impress others with your eagerness.

Oh my God is always rendered by rote from a plan in the mind and with practice the person has a strong urge to say that and sometimes he says it in the wrong context.

The ‘oh’ used here is intended differently from the ‘oh, wake me up when Easter is over’ as if it is all very casual or by the way.

Dalai Lama Holding Pelosi’s Hand:

It is impossible that a Buddha will hold a woman’s hand and if you think it is possible, you do not know who the Buddha is.

This is a public show of camaraderie or friendliness that is intended to impress emotional onlookers but it is being falsely nice not truly good and the person who will do that is a showman not genuine man of truth.

I will not hold even my dearest wife’s hand in public:

Even if I loved my wife dearly I will not hold her hand in public because there is no necessity to do so and it fosters false DEPENDENCY. Is she sick or lame? Can’t she walk independently by herself?

People hold hands in public to impress their wives and others how loving they are and to foster dependency. You need force and emotion to be dependent, not reason.

All holding hands is for show, to show the other person and others how loving you are.

Exactly what is a person’s intention is by holding hands in public may be known by God and those who discern, if it is for show to impress or stir envy or jealousy, then you are sinning.

You want to walk or hold hands?

If your intention is to hold hands then you shouldn’t walk.

If you want to walk then you should not hold hands because holding hands impairs and restricts your walking, you are doing two things at once that cannot be done fresh but is by rote.

There is a natural rhythm in walking and holding hands impairs it apart from necessitating regurgitation of both simultaneous activities by rote.

THUS IF YOU WANT TO WALK THEN DON’T HOLD HANDS, IF YOU WANT TO HOLD HANDS THEN DON’T WALK. YOU CANNOT HAVE BOTH WITHOUT IMPAIRING YOUR WALKING AND DOING BOTH MINDLESSLY BY ROTE.

Children are different:

There is a purpose in holding children’s hands because they need assistance and may become lost or knocked down by car but there is no purpose in holding another adult’s hand. Some women even demand their men hold their hands to demonstrate their intimacy for others to see or prove their husbands care for them.

Entitled to your view:

Quote Ling Liong Sik: “Everyone is entitled to their views, and having different opinions is fine. At the end, a consensus will be reached and this was what compromise is all about,”

Comment: You are entitled to your view but it is not fine but if your view is wrong, does not correspond to God’s then it is the way to eternal punishment. As the Buddha said, the destination of wrong view is hell or the animal womb and to describe that as fine is wrong view.

Whatever matter it is, there is just one view that is right and whatever differs from that view is wrong and the way to hell or the animal womb and that is never fine.

You cannot respect a view that differs from yours and it is a form of hypocrisy or lying.

Here as in many places people think what they speak is true when it is false or wrong and they are headed for punishment.

The Buddha has abandoned all views:

You are interested in forming views about everything under the sun but the Buddha has abandoned all views, is not attached to any view and he only speak of views that are right to guide those attached to views and further existing that is fraught with danger.

The Buddha can switch off all thoughts at will and has abandoned all views.

ANYONE WHO IS EAGER TO HAVE OPINIONS ABOUT THIS AND THAT IS A FOOL EXPOSING HIMSELF TO COMPLICATIONS THAT IS THE WAY TO SUFFERING.

Neither pain nor pleasure:

The Buddha spoke of the state of the mind that is superior in which there is neither pain nor pleasure.

People’s minds are always beset by pain or pleasure or even both at the same time and they have not known this state of neither pain nor pleasure that according to the Buddha exists and is superior.

Even when they think they are experiencing neither pain nor pleasure, there may be pain or pleasure present that escapes their awareness.

Nobody tells you this and if the Buddha tells you and it exists he is the highest teacher.

Not only does he tell you that, he knows how to enter and exit each state.

Why only one right view:

Whatever matter has a truth to it and the truth to it is whether it happened the way it was said to happen. Anything that happens can only happen one way and that was the way it actually happened.

Thus the right view is the only view that describes exactly what happened regarding that matter and so if your view differs from that view then you have wrong view, you believe what did not happen happened and that is the way to madness.

Thus if I say there is constant forceful stretching, changing of speed and loudness in the speech of not just humans but animals and it is the root of the stress, restlessness and distraction that they must suffer from and inflict on others, then it is true then whoever has a different view has wrong view and that is the way to hell and the animal womb according to the Buddha apart from insanity because to believe what is false (style is charming and good) is mad.

MATTERS THAT ONE CAN FORM VIEWS ARE THINGS THAT HAPPEN. THINGS CAN ONLY HAPPEN IN ONE WAY AND THE VIEW THAT BEST DESCRIBES WHAT HAPPENED IS RIGHT VIEW AND WHATEVER THAT DIFFERS MUST BE WRONG VIEW AND THE BUDDHA TELLS YOU THAT IS THE WAY TO THE ANIMAL WORLD OR HELL.

Do not resuscitate:

A relative was outraged when she discovered 'do not resuscitate' written in the hospital notes of a deceased.

There are many old or infirmed patients in hospitals with ‘do not resuscitate’ in their notes that tell doctors not to perform heroics if their conditions suddenly deteriorate.

You see doctors performing dramatic resuscitation procedures for collapsed patients and ambulances rushing frantically to hospitals and people think they are doing good when it is not necessarily so.

The Buddha said the heedful do not die but the heedless are already like the dead.

What is the use of resuscitating the heedless who according to the Buddha are already like the dead?

You will perish if you are heedless according to Jesus and what is the use of resuscitating someone who will perish anyway?

Death is an abiding illusion because there will always be another life for you after you die and so if you believe in death, then you will perish to another life that you deserve and if that is the animal world then that is your lot.

May I know who is on the line?

People say and hear others say this, ‘may I know who is on the line?’ without knowing it is false and controlled madness.

The right answer for the above question is ‘yes or no, you may not know’ not “I am so and so” which is the intended answer by the foolish person.

If you perceive that ‘may I know who is on the line” is the same as “Can you tell me” or “I would like to know” then you are a fool.

People copy from others and because it sounds courteous, they see nothing wrong when it is asking permission to know and not what he intends.

Mars is covered with table salt:

People reading it and the person who wrote it may think it is the truth but it is not.

Mars is not covered with table salt but Sodium Chloride and the person is saying so to sensationalize or stir readers mental forces that Mars is covered by table salt. Table salt is Sodium Chloride but Sodium Chloride is not necessarily table salt but many other things like electrolyte for say batteries. Further did he ascertain the whole of Mars is covered by sodium chloride? If he did not, then only parts of Mars may be covered by salt.

Table salt is only one of many commodities from which sodium chloride is made, so to call the salt on Mars table salt is perversion of reality to attract attention, ‘wow! Mars covered by table salt’.

IT IS NOT HARMLESS MISCHIEF BUT THERE IS GRAVE KARMA FOR THE PERSON.

The motive is to stir incredulity:

It is no big deal that sodium chloride covers Mars but it would be ‘incredible’ that the contents of tiny bottle of salt on your dinner table covers Mars, thus the motive in saying Mars is covered by table salt is to stir incredulity or disbelief that the humble little grains of salt as in your dinner table bottle covers Mars.

Because this is not true, he is cultivating false perception in himself and the gullible that table salt covers Mars when there is just sodium chloride on parts of Mars.

INCREDULITY OR DISBELIEF HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH REASON BUT IT IS ALL ABOUT FORCE, THE STIRRING OF FORCE TO FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE, IT IS AN ACT LEARNT SO WELL BY ORDINARY EMOTIONAL PEOPLE THEY BELIEVE THEIR INCREDULITY IS REAL, BASED ON REASON WHEN IT IS FALSE, ALL ABOUT FORCE NEVER REASON.

Stirring incredulity is stirring conflict:

Stirring incredulity in what you say or do (always outrageously) is to stir conflict in others with one part unable to accept what is seen or said to happen and one part wanting to believe it happened because it is said so and because conflict is about force clashing and suffering, it is stirring suffering in others.

There is excited incredulity and there is angry or raging incredulity but both are suffering and it is perversion that attractive incredulity is pleasant.

Badawi: Mistakes led to election losses:

Badawi was quoted as admitting that mistakes were made that led to election losses.

It is true that there have been mistakes made (eg they did not cheat enough) but a larger contribution to the losses may not be mistakes but the rampant culture of corruption and abuse of powers (eg arrogant police, ISA, corrupt judiciary).

To attribute the losses to mistakes is to shirk responsibility. It is a mistake, nobody can know so what is there to be guilty? Thus to admit mistakes is to proffer excuses and shirk responsibility and it is cultivating false perception that election losses are due to mistakes when it is due to corruption, abuse of power and incompetence.

ARE INCOMPETENCE, CORRUPTION AND ABUSE OF POWER MISTAKES? IF NOT THEN IF THEY ARE IMPORTANT FACTORS AND YOU ONLY ATTRIBUTE MISTAKES YOU ARE COURTING MAD PERCEPTION.

Badawi may think he speaks the truth but it may be far from the truth.

Turning away someone:

The Buddha: `Let no one who observes a proper conduct, be turned away. He who turns him away is guilty of a dukkaña offence. And let no one who does not observe a proper conduct, not be turned away. (an upajjhàya) who does not turn him away is guilty of a dukkaña offence.

The Buddha says that if you turn away or do not forgive someone who observes proper conduct you are guilty of an offence. Thus if you observe proper conduct you will be welcomed in heaven otherwise heaven will be guilty of an offence.

However if you do not observe proper conduct then whoever does not turn you away, who accepts you is not meritorious but committing an offence.

You may dispute but what the Buddha says is that no matter who you are, there is no sharing of a person’s suffering from decay, disease, death and karma created.

The corollary is that we are all beings whose destinies are in our own hands, if you desire to continue to exist then you must contend with the inescapable, decay, disease, death and karma.

A person may sacrifice his life for another but that is only a temporary postponement of that person’s death.

The nature of greed:

Greed is an emotion that has nothing to do with reason and if you think greed is based on reason, is reasonable then you have wrong view that is not the way to heaven but to the animal world or hell.

When speculators see house or stock prices fall suddenly significantly, their mental forces are stirring in speed and strength in an attractive way so that they have an urge to grab by buying that because it is based on force, is irrational and may throw caution to the wind not realizing that they may be grabbing a falling knife that may cut their hands.

Anyone who has style (speaks with stretching, changing speed and loudness), whether he is aware or not, must have greed of which lust and sensuality (eg for aromas, tastes, touch, sights and sounds) are components, because you need mental force to be greedy, lustful or sensual.

All the emotions are variations of likes and dislikes, can be traced to like and dislike. Apart from likes and dislikes the person experiences emotional hurt, sadness and fear.

Anyone who has style, who is forceful must be fearful because he needs a strong force of self preservation to counter balance his strong force of going against self and whenever something happens that causes his usually unrepentant defiant force of going against self to recoil or cower in cowardice, his suddenly unopposed or naked ascendant force of self preservation is the source of the experience of fear. Normally the force of self preservation rises like a chaperon to supervise the force of going against self as it goes around committing mischief. When there is a loud noise or a tiger appears, his force of going against self may suddenly plunge in speed and strength leaving his unopposed force of self preservation ascendant with nothing to oppose and this causes the consciousness experience of fear.

Shame is feeling hurt as a result of the denting or humiliation of one’s pride which is like or attraction for self. One develops pride for one’s possessions like car, house, school, wife and children.

Anger is dislike for something happening. Hate is focussed or targeted dislike.

Disgust is dislike, when one complains one is expressing dislike for a matter.

Excitement may be faked and when genuine is intense like.

Jealousy is dislike for someone as a result of his possessions (pretty wife) that you don’t have.

Envy is like for someone as a result of his possessions that you don’t have.

Sadness is when your force of going against self is mindlessly, uncontrollably prolonging as a result of something happening or loss of control as a result of constant prolonging. There is constant prolonging to express the style in one’s speech and actions and as a result of constant prolonging the force of going against self starts to uncontrollable prolong, the person experiences sadness.

Feeling hurt is the sharp pain caused by the sudden unopposed acceleration in speed and strength of the person’s force of going against self as a result of a temporary tiredness or incapacitation of one’s force of self preservation.

IMF's Lipsky warns of 'unthinkable' in global credit crisis:

The dye may be cast, the condition of the patient terminal and hence whatever the Fed and its cohorts do, the financial system of the world may be doomed to crash.

Highly esteemed banks across the world may have decimated their capital as to crimp their capacity to lend, banks are suspicious and reluctant to lend, those with money apart from banks too are afraid to lend so that credit the lifeblood of trade may be drained.

WASHINGTON : The International Monetary Fund on Wednesday warned authorities worldwide to "think the unthinkable" in planning to cope with a mounting crisis in the global financial system.

John Lipsky, IMF first deputy managing director, called for "decisive policy action" amid a credit crunch that stems from the US real estate meltdown and is spreading throughout the financial markets.

The coordinated actions by the US Federal Reserve and other global central banks on Tuesday to further pump billions of dollars of liquidity into financial markets were "helpful" but stronger measures may be necessary.

Policy actions worldwide to date "may not prove to be adequate" to deal with the "low-probability but high-impact events" that may materialise and undermine global financial stability, Lipsky said in an address at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, a Washington think tank.

"Policy makers as a matter of course need to 'think the unthinkable,' and to consider how they would plan to react if contingencies arise. The need to prepare more systematically for potential risks has been demonstrated amply during the past few months," he said.

"By now, there is little doubt that risks of further escalation of this crisis are rising and decisive policy action will be required to put the global financial system and economy on a firmer footing."

He said the first priority was to reverse the spreading strains in global financial markets and to restore the normal functioning of the financial system in advanced economies. - AFP/de

Apart from liking and disliking (emotions like pride, excitement, anger, hate, greed, envy are little more than like and dislike in fancy clothes), feeling hurt, sadness and fear, the other emotional states of a person’s mind are confusion, tension, stress, restlessness and distraction (inability to concentrate).

Doubt and uncertainty is a form of confusion.

Tension is the seizure of the person’s mind and body by opposite forces so that the person is undecided or paralyzed as to what to do or say.

Stress is the painful, disagreeable seizure of the person’s mind and body by force that is hard to shake off, requires time and disengagement to loosen its grip.

Restlessness is the forceful state of wanting or needing to say or do something, anything for the sake of saying or doing it, a temporary mad uncontrollable urge to act.

Distraction or scattered or unfocussed concentration is an inability to concentrate and assimilate what is presented to the person. He reads but words do not sink in, you tell him something, he nods but he assimilates nothing.

Expression of exasperation:

Only a pretentious person can sport this expression which is secretly expressing consternation, exasperation or despair (give up). It is an expression of emotion not reason. A person of truth cannot sport this expression which always suffering and conditions the person to suffering.

IT IS BECAUSE A PERSON IS PUTTING ON A SHOW BEING CONGENIAL THAT WHEN THE SITUATION SHE IS CAUGHT IN BECOMES EXASPERATING THAT SHE WILL SECRETLY SPORT THIS EXPRESSION TO EXPRESS DISBELIEF AND IRRITATION.

Show that is not for show:

There are shows or expressions feckless actors want others to see and so they exaggerate and prolong those expressions to give others maximum opportunity to see. Such expressions are eg flashing one’s sparkling teeth in a gorgeous smile to express one is truly or faked delighted, excited, socially confident or whatever.

Sometimes the person inadvertently scowls or makes a monkey face as a result of a thought occurring in his mind and this is a show that he does not want others to see and he anxiously quickly suppresses or pretends that his throat is irritated that is why he grunted.

This is a secret private not for show expression. If you are expressing all the time then you should not hide some expressions that you find embarrassing and if you do, it means you are dishonest, orchestrating your expressions so that you project some and furtively hide some.

When you try to conceal certain expressions from others whilst present certain desirable expressions, you are dishonest trying to distort reality.

Worry:

Worry is a disturbed state of the mind that has nothing to do with genuine reason. It is a mixture of fear, restlessness and tension that drives the person to keep thinking the same things and even entertain bizarre possibilities.

It is totally unnecessary & unproductive to worry and is always suffering and conditions further to worry until the person is capable of sudden intense worry that becomes harder and harder to shake off.

Whenever a problem arises, what is needed is not emotional worry but a calm collected mind to determine what options are available and to calmly choose the best option. No one is a master of his worries but they are helpless slaves of worry because they are slaves of force and emotion that they are worried. What they usually do is to use opposite force, their force of self preservation to peg back and let distraction shake their worries temporarily off their minds not realizing they are doomed for torment from worry if they don’t work to eliminate worry permanently by learning to stop using force, stop being stylish, stop stretching syllables, changing speed and loudness.

Lies, nonsense or adulterated truth:

Stylish people or people with objectively demonstrable stretching syllables, changing speed and loudness are incapable of speaking and doing the unadulterated truth but whatever they say or do is false (deliberately or unconsciously lying), nonsense (makes no sense) or the adulterated truth in the sense that they also simultaneously want to convey their like or dislike, sadness or hurt or fear, they want to stir the other person’s like or dislike, sadness or hurt or fear, often without realizing they want to do so or are doing so.

Because they want to express like and dislike, sadness, hurt or fear with what they say or want to stir these emotions in you, and these emotions are all false, about force that is harmful, they cannot be speaking the truth but what they speak is adulterated by meaningless like, dislike, sadness, hurt or fear.

Yabadabadoo is meaningless and so if you say that you are speaking nonsense.

To tell a deliberate lie is speaking falsely, to joke is to trivialize or enjoy falsity, to say that a person’s descent from grace is dizzying is false because it cannot cause dizziness.

THUS IT MAY BE THE TRUTH THAT YOU AND ALL STYLISH PEOPLE ARE CAPABLE AND DO SPEAK THE TRUTH OR IT MAY BE THE TRUTH THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF SPEAKING ANYTHING OTHER THAN LIES, FALSITIES, NONSENSE AND ADULTERATED TRUTHS.

It does not matter much if any to stylish people whether what they say is true or not, what matters more to them is whether it stirs their liking, disliking, sadness, hurt or fear in them or others.

Sorry not in:

Even if your sorry is facetious, every time you say sorry you must summon up sorry however briefly in yourself and the listener.

Sorry means you are pained by what has happened and so you are stirring up pain that is harmful to yourself and others.

Thus it is false perception or perversion to think you are good when you eagerly say sorry, he is not in or I am afraid he is not in because you are bad, you are unnecessarily stirring up emotion in yourself and others in saying sorry or you are afraid.

WHAT IS THE USE OF FEELING SORRY OR PAINED OR FEARFUL THAT HE IS NOT IN? IF YOU THINK IT IS USEFUL OR MEANINGFUL, YOU MAY BE RIGHT OR COURTING MAD PERCEPTION.

IN TRUTH WHAT IS SAID IS MINDLESSLY SAID BY ROTE OR PARROT FROM A RECORDING IN THAT PERSON’S MENTAL JUKEBOX THAT HE COPIED FROM OTHERS WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING.

Teen pregnancy a huge threat to humanity:

This is a falsification in order to exaggerate.

In order to exaggerate a person must falsify and so anyone who thinks he is only guilty of exaggerating and less sinful is a fool with false perception.

It is unlikely if not impossible that teen pregnancy is a threat to humanity let alone a huge threat.

Teen pregnancy may be a big problem for Australian society but it is not a huge threat, which is targeted at stirring emotion or alarm.

What is stress?

Force has inertia or momentum and once activated, takes time to slowly dissipate and so if you keep heedlessly using force, there is no chance for that force to completely dissipate but a residue even sizeable residue always remain to grip or seize that foolish person’s mind who permits force to use his mind as a playground in the name of acting or putting on a show or being stylish by stretching, changing speed and loudness.

Thus stress is the mandatory universal consciousness experience if a person permits his mind to be subject to force either by himself or others and it is the sum of mental & bodily pain of being seized or gripped by force that varies in severity from mild to even tormenting.

Even when the person wakes in the morning his mind is under the influence of force and so he has stress but because it is at a manageable level and he has not known the truly stress free state of the mind, he may be lulled to think he has no stress and is at the top of the world. But as the day goes on, depending how he constantly use force to fabricate his style in perceiving, thinking, speaking and doing things, depending how he exposes his mind to bombardment of force by others ( eg partying and gossiping in an animated fashion) the natural dissipation of force after use or exposure cannot cope with the incessant use or abuse such that the residual force seizing his mind and body is much greater, even unbearably greater than what it was when he woke up and so the person has to resort to diversions like smoking, drinking, womanizing, disengagement (some hobby or sports) to give him a breather, to allow the seizure of force or the noose of force to loosen its grip.

However stress is conditioning and so with age and experience, stress becomes more and more easy to arouse to more and more intense levels even by minute stimuli and harder and harder to shake off and so the fool who permits himself to use force (eg to stretch syllables, change speed and loudness or be stylish), permits himself to be exposed to force unnecessarily by others is doomed, headed for mad easily arousable, uncontrollable and hard to shake off stress, especially with his mind degenerates with old age.

BECAUSE FORCE ALWAYS TAKES TIME TO DISSIPATE AND IF YOU KEEP GENERATING FORCE BY USING IT TO CONSTANTLY STRETCH PHYSICAL AND MENTAL SYLLABLES, CHANGE SPEED AND LOUDNESS, FORCE PERMANENTLY SEIZES OR GRIPS THE MIND AND MUSCLES OF THE BODY AND ONLY TIME AND SECLUSION OR DISENGAGEMENT (THIS IS WHY MEDITATION IS CRUCIAL) WILL CAUSE THE STRESS TO DISSIPATE. THUS STRESS IS THE MIND’S UNCOMFORTABLE EVEN UNBERABLE EXPERIENCE OF THE SEIZURE BY FORCE OF HIS MIND AND MUSCLES OF HIS BODY.

FURTHER, THE PERSON’S WHOSE MIND IS STRESSED AND UNABLE TO SHAKE OFF BECOMES RESTLESS (DESPERATE), DISTRACTED (UNABLE TO CONCENTRATE), SAD (DESPONDENT) AND HURT.

THUS ANYONE WHO EXPOSES HIS MIND UNNECESSARILY TO FORCE IS A FOOL AND FORCE IS EVIL LIKE ALCOHOL, GAMBLING OR SMOKING. THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR USING FORCE TO STRETCH SYLLABLES, CHANGE SPEED AND LOUDNESS BECAUSE YOU ARE EXPOSING YOUR MIND TO EVIL FORCE AND TRANSMITTING FORCE TO OTHERS.

STRESS INEVITABLY KILLS EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY AND THE PERSON WHO IS PERMISSIVE OF STRESS IS A MAN OF THIS WORLD, IS NOT BLAMELESS AND HEADED FOR EVEN ANOTHER ETERNITY OF DEATH.

How to minimize your exposure to force:

1) Stop using force to stretch, change speed and loudness.

2) Use the minimum force to think, speak and do things.

3) Stop thinking, speaking and doing things that are not necessary. Whether what you think, say or do is necessary or not is objective, not subjective. If it is unnecessary, you are practicing controlled madness not without reason but to deceive, please, impress and intimidate others and you are headed for certain madness practicing controlled madness or what is unnecessary.

Thus a person who can switch off thinking when it is unnecessary to just observe (see, hear, smell, taste and touch) has the least exposure to force compared to the slave who cannot help thinking about this and that.

Fed Bails Out Bears & Stearns To Avoid Bank Collapse:

The collapse of Bears & Stearns may trigger like dominos the collapse of other august American banks and the action of the Fed to bail it out (why don’t Fed bail out the poor whose houses are repossessed?) by no means resolve the financial crisis which may be a monster beyond the control of the fools who let it arise in the first place.

US investment bank Bear Stearns has had to be rescued from collapse by the US central bank.

But how serious is this development for the future of the banking system, and what does it say about the credit crunch?

How big is Bear Stearns?

Bear Stearns is one of the major US investment banks which have dominated Wall Street for generations.

Founded in 1923, it is one of the leading global banking firms that operates at the wholesale level, dealing with governments, companies and other financial institutions.

Its core business lines include buying and selling stocks, government and corporate bonds, investment banking, global clearing services, asset management, and private client services.

Before the crisis, it had a market capitalisation of $60bn and assets under management of $350bn, and a global workforce of 15,000.

Why is the bank in trouble?

Bear Stearns has been severely affected by the loss of confidence in credit markets.

The company had invested heavily in sub-prime mortgage instruments and other securities which are now seen as highly risky, and which have fallen sharply in value.

And it had less capital than its rivals, such as Citigroup and Merrill Lynch, who were also heavily exposed, to plug the gap.

Last summer, two of Bear Stearns' hedge funds had to be bailed out, partly precipitating the first stage of the global credit crunch.

Now other banks have become unwilling to lend short-term money to Bear Stearns to keep its operations going.

And that has meant that it no longer has enough cash on hand, known as liquidity, to fund its operations.

How dangerous is the situation?

The worry is that if Bear Stearns collapsed, it would be forced to sell its assets, such as sub-prime mortgage securities, into the market at cut down prices.

This would have lowered their value even further.

And that could have affected the solvency of many other big US banks.

And if other big banks went bust, then credit would dry up rapidly across the whole economy, slowing economic activity.

That is why the New York Federal Reserve felt it had no choice but to intervene to support a short-term rescue deal.

But there may be other banks that are already at risk of reaching a similar position to Bear Stearns.

Why is the rescue being carried out by JP Morgan Chase?

For technical reasons, Bear Stearns was unable to borrow money directly from the New York Federal Reserve, because it is not a commercial bank.

So the money is coming from one of the biggest US commercial banks instead.

However, they will be able to borrow any of the funds they need for the rescue from the Fed, so their shareholders will not be exposed to any risks.

So they are essentially a conduit for the Fed bail-out.

The Fed's new $200bn emergency loan facility only comes into effect on 27 March.

Will the bank survive in its current form?

It is not clear that Bear Stearns can survive intact.

It is essentially now at the mercy of the market.

JP Morgan Chase, has only committed to provide cash for 28 days, as long as it is underwritten by the US central bank.

JP Morgan Chase is also looking at how to provide long-term financing, and there may be international investors or other banks who want to invest in the stricken bank.

But if it cannot find anyone who wants to back it, then its future may be bleak.

Bear Stearns could be broken up or taken over by JP Morgan.

Or it could sell a big equity stake to a foreign investor, such as a sovereign wealth fund.

China’s factory output cools:

Whilst not all China’s, Japan’s and indeed the rest of the world’s output goes to the US, a sizeable portion do and if in truth America is living beyond its means, it is printing money like toilet paper to pay for the goods that the world seem foolishly willing to accept then all this output is for free or much less value than touted just as the great leverage on the financial markets may give an illusion of far greater wealth and liquidity than there actually is.

Thus China’s factories may be being taken for ride, its dirt cheap products may be even cheaper considering the over-valued dollars with which they are paid with.

Did you see God’s Invisible Hands In The Election? I Did:

I certainly did not see God’s invisible hands in the Malaysian elections. Did he interview God to ascertain that God intervened?

He is dicing with mad perception, emotionally forcing himself to see what he did not see and wanting others to think what he said is true.

Rather than meritorious, he is a fool. Jesus said turn the other cheek and so that means no fighting. If you think you can fight for good you are a fool. True good does not need you or anyone to fight. Jesus whoever loses his life for his sake will not lose it. So don’t fight and if you are killed then you will not lose it.

Malaysians can be proud of the polls:

Only a fool can speak thus and so what he wants to say is not worth reading.

Not all Malaysians will or want to be proud of the elections so keep your pride to yourself.

And what is this pride he keeps talking about? It is merely the stirring of his mental force to become attracted by the results that lasts only as long as it is stirred and on whatever occasions later that he stirs his mental force to like when he recollects the election.

The stirring of mental force is meaningless, food that perishes (and you too will perish) and stressful because it applies force on your mind and by telling Malaysians they can be proud, you are telling them they can stir their mental forces attractively therefore stressing themselves.

Europe Now World No 1 Economy:

As a result of the unabated decline in value of the USD the European zone is now the world’s largest economy.

The big tend to bully the small or exploit advantage and it is likely the US will overvalue its currency than undervalue it and so all along, the USD may be overvalued and the size of its economy overvalued by extension.

THE US economy lost the title of "world's biggest" to the euro zone this week as the value of the US dollar slumped in currency markets.

Taking the gross domestic product of both economies in 2007, the combined GDP of the 15 countries which use the euro overtook that of the US when the European currency surged to a record high of more than $1.56 per euro overnight.

"The curious outcome of breaching this latest milestone is that the size of the euro zone's annual output has now exceeded that of the US," the economics department of Goldman Sachs, the Wall Street investment bank, said in a note to clients.

Taking official estimates of 2007 GDP, $US13,843,800 billion ($14,726,000) for the United States and 8,847,889.1 billion euros for the euro zone, the economy of the latter passed the US once converted into US dollars, shortly after the euro topped $1.56.

The US dollar sank to $1.5688 per euro late in European trading hours overnight, at which rate the euro zone's 2007 GDP equates to $13,880,568.4 billion.

The 2007 GDP estimates are as published by the US Commerce Department's Bureau of Economic Analysis and provided to Reuters on request for the euro zone by Eurostat, the European Union's statistics office.

Why The World May Be Headed For A Financial Crash:

Quote: Friedman, Billings, Ramsey estimates that the current $11 trillion in U.S. mortgage debt is backed by $590 billion in capital, or about 19 parts debt to one part equity. They believe that is unsustainable and the ratio will end up around 6:1, as either banks attract about another $1 trillion of permanent capital or housing assets fall correspondingly. (the value of your house must fall drastically in order to reflect the considerably lesser money that is backing up its value)

The banks will get some of the $1 trillion, but not most (will fall far short), meaning that mortgage debt and housing has a lot further to fall. The impact of that on the economy, and the impact of the economic downturn that will result on the banks is, in a word, scary.

(So long as others do not call your bluff you can use your $1 to stand surety for $19 and reap the handsome profits you will not get if you only used your $1 to stand surety for $1 only that you will definitely be able to back up in case of eventualities. Now that there are calls for you to back up the $19 you stood surety for and you have only $1, you are in big trouble and system too is in big trouble because there is no $19 that is supposed to be there)

Comment: Unless you want to run the risk of losing it, if you have one dollar you should not use it to stand surety for even another dollar of debt (also known as betting or gambling), let alone use it to stand surety for 19 dollars of debt and the motive (motive force or drive or attraction, never genuine reason) for doing so is because you are greedy, dissatisfied with your $1 and want to make more money or risk the dollar you have in the hope of gaining even more.

The reason why you will use your $1 to stand surety for $19 is to amplify or maximize your return for that dollar you have that you are not satisfied with. In other words you want to get rich in a hurry.

The trouble with fools is that they do not believe they will even lose the dollar they risked or betted (anyway the dollar they bet is not theirs but shareholders or depositors’), let alone that they will be called to back up or put money on the table (that they don’t have) for the nineteen dollars they stood surety for with the $1 they have and because they only have one dollar, there is no way they can fulfil their obligation and thus they have bankrupted themselves whilst those who think their assets or properties are worth $19 must confront the unpalatable truth that their houses are worth much less and if they have foolishly borrowed much based on the assumption that their houses are worth much more, they will be in big trouble. Thus either you devalue your $19 assets to reflect that your $19 is actually backed only by one dollar or your $19 asset is actually $1 asset or the owner of the $1 used to stand surety for $19 must find another $18 to fulfil his obligation he never imagined he will called to account for.

THE CURRENT HOUSING LOANS ARE LEVERAGED 19 TIMES WHICH IS UNSUSTAINABLE, ONLY SUSTAINABLE SO LONG AS NO ONE MADE MARGIN CALLS OR DEMANDS TO SEE THE REAL MONEY BEHIND IT.

NOW THAT DEMANDS HAVE BEEN MADE OR MARGIN CALLS MADE, THE SUSTAINABLE LEVEL IS SUPPOSED TO BE SIX TIMES (EVEN THIS MAY BE OPTIMISTIC). IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THIS, BANKS MUST FIND AN ADDITIONAL $1 TRILLION IN PERMANENT (NOT TEMPORARY) CAPITAL (A TALL ORDER) OR YOU MUST WRITE DOWN THE VALUE OF YOUR HOUSING ASSETS DRASTICALLY (WHICH MEANS MANY WILL CONFRONT THE REALITY THAT THEIR HOUSES ARE WORTH MUCH LESS THAN THEY INSIST AND IF THEY HAVE BORROWED MUCH MONEY AGAINST THEIR INFLATED HOUSE VALUES, THEY FACE FINANCIAL RUIN OR BANKRUPCY).

THUS BECAUSE THE BANKS CANNOT COME UP WITH SO MUCH ADDITIONAL PERMANENT CAPITAL, THE HOUSING BUBBLE MUST COLLAPSE, PRICES OF HOUSES MUST FALL DRASTICALLY AND THOSE WHO HAVE BORROWED AND CONSUMED EXCESSIVELY BASED ON THE ILLUSION THEIR HOUSES ARE WORTH MUCH MORE WILL BE IN BIG TROUBLE AND THE SCALE OF THE DEBTS ARE SUCH THAT THIS MAY BE A FORM OF FINANCIAL TSUNAMI THAT WILL WIPE OUT EVEN MANY BIG BANKS AND ORDINARY PEOPLE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO BORROW HEAVILY TO SPEND HEAVILY.

Inflate our way out of trouble:

The truth may be that mankind seldom if ever resolved its financial crises but it has always inflated itself out of trouble. Inflation devalues your debt and gets you out of trouble for a while.

For instance if you have a salary of $1000 and you have $10,000 of debt, it is a problem repaying it but if you inflate your salary to $2000 then the problem of repaying is easier.

Throughout history and everywhere in the world, humanity has created financial messes that it cannot resolve and it then inflated itself out of trouble.

A pack of nasi lemak used to cost 20 cents and it came with slices of meat. Now $1 buys you a miserly small pack with a tiny slice of egg, sambal and some ikan bilis.

Innovations & efficient markets?

Quote Henry Paulson: "Regulation needs to catch up with innovation and help restore investor confidence but not go so far as to create new problems, make our markets less efficient or cut off credit to those who need it."

Comment: If these innovations are reckless self serving schemes to make quick money and the efficiency in markets is in truth the lack or reduction of regulations then if Paulson believed them, he has wrong view that is the way to hell or the animal womb. If he has private doubts and cynicisms that he keeps to himself then he is guilty of misleading others with equally dreadful karma.

Jammed brakes:

Just as if you keep using your brakes it will get heated up and even become jammed, seized and you must then stop the car to let the brakes cool down, in the same way stress is like the brakes being overheated as a result of the person’s incessant unnecessary use of force to fabricate his style or how he stretches, change speed and loudness so that his consciousness and muscles are seized or jammed by force and he needs to withdraw to allow his brakes to cool down, to allow the seizure of force on his mind and muscles to loosen its grip.

Force can be applied on a person’s mind by himself or others and even if it was applied by others, he is seldom entirely blameless because he willingly subjects himself to others’ mental forces in the name of getting along with others and getting what he wants from others.

Thus whoever you are, whether you admit you have style or not, can see if you have style or not, so long as objectively you are prolonging, changing speed and loudness, you are applying unnecessary force on your mind that is for show, to impress, please, intimidate and dominate and you must suffer stress that is not blameless but fully blameworthy, you are headed for loss of control and mad stress and that is not the way to heaven but even another eternity of perdition.

Another show that is not for show:

It is seldom if ever that people need sunglasses for medical reasons but they wear sunglasses sometimes because it is deemed stylish or chic but often to hide behind these wrap around glasses. They want to see but they don’t want others to see them. This is a sign of dishonesty or deceit, the person may have skeletons in the closet or ill will or hatred in their eyes that they may not want others to see.

There are expressions and charm that actors want others to see, are crossed if you do not see and appreciate and there are acts or expressions that they do not desire others to see; they want to paint a one sided desirous picture of themselves.

Wealth that is an illusion:

If fund managers managing other people’s money and CEOs order the company to buy back its own shares (whilst they unload) and most of the shares are owned by people with vested interest in maintaining them at high prices (perhaps because the company can then borrow more than they should), then an illusion may be created that there is more wealth, the company is worth much more than it is.

For instance, Google may be trading at $300 when its fair price may be $100 or even less. So long as few sell then the illusion may be maintained that it is a very rich company but if everyone tried to sell at $300 there is no way everyone will get that price.

I read in Australia that investors are faced with margin calls on the shares they owned as a result of recent significant stock market falls. They may have pledged the shares to borrow money and with the drop in share prices those shares are no longer adequate to cover their debts.

Thus not just in property but in shares and other areas of life, prices may be ramped up considerably and based on those unrealistic values people think they are far richer than they are and spend accordingly not with own money but with borrowed money.

Apparently people fearful of loss of value due to the plunging dollar has switched to oil and gold thinking these will automatically rise in value as the dollar that is needed to purchase them diminished. This may be a fool’s logic because it may not be always so and so should oil and gold collapse as a result of a drop in demand or new discoveries then it is not that smart but foolish to switch to gold and oil at such high prices.

EXACTLY WHAT IS A FAIR VALUE FOR A SHARE OR PROPERTY MAY BE KNOWN IF NOT BY YOU AND YOUR FELLOW MEN, THEN BY GOD, IF THEIR VALUES HAVE BEEN EMOTIONALLY OVERINFLATED TO SELF GAIN (IF YOU OWN A SHARE OR HOUSE YOU WOULD UNDERSTANDABLY WANT TO PRICE IT AS HIGH AS YOU CAN) THEN YOU ARE COURTING FUTURE TROUBLE BECAUSE UNREALISTICALLY HIGH EVALUATIONS CANNOT BE MAINTAINED FOREVER BUT THERE MUST BE A RECKONING WITH THE TRUTH THAT ITS ACTUAL WORTH IS MUCH LESS. AND IF YOU HAVE COMMITTED YOURSELF BY BORROWING BASED ON THAT UNREALISTIC HIGH VALUE, YOU ARE ASKING FOR DISASTER.

Hiding grief:

Whenever people are stricken by grief eg Jackie Onassis at husband’s death, they hide behind dark glasses so that people do not see their tears and hurt. Part of it is due to pride.

Thus if want others to see your sunny part and do not want others to see your weepy part, you are a dishonest person, not just here but always. As the Buddha said, a person of no integrity is a person of no integrity in everything he does.

Dalai Lama A Simple Monk?

There was a recent headline that depicted the Dalai Lama as a simple monk who won the Nobel Prize.

Whether he is just a simple monk or a complicated emotional person is not subjective but may be known and if you see him as simple and he is not then you have wrong view that is the way to hell or the animal womb. If you do not know him or his exact nature then you should not say he is a simple monk.

The Potala is a grand temple overlooking Lhasa with gold embroidered roofs that is contravenes what the Buddha taught of being simple, not sleeping in high beds and sitting in high chairs and the homeless life and so the Tibetan Buddhism is a seriously deviant form of Buddhism as described in the Pali Canon.

Even though the Chinese is wrong to remain in Tibet, those who have destroyed Chinese property and killed Chinese have sinned and will be judged and should the Dalai Lama be aware and acquiesced with the uprising, he has serious karma or responsibility.

CHENGDU, China: Enraged Tibetan youths embarked on a rampage of destruction against Chinese businesses in Lhasa that left parts of the once-fabled city in ruins, according to one tourist who saw the protests. Juan Carlos Alonso, 46, a Spaniard staying on Beijing Street in the old quarter near some of Lhasa's holiest shrines, recounted how he saw Tibetan anger toward the Chinese boil over into violence. "The purpose was to destroy everything on that main street, beginning with all the Chinese stores and restaurants," Alonso told AFP after arriving in Chengdu airport late Sunday before catching a flight home. "The restaurant owners and those Chinese on the street had to hide," said the former employee of a German engineering firm who had a first-hand view of the onslaught in the streets of Lhasa on Friday. "They (the Chinese) lowered the shutters, but the Tibetans kicked their way in, dragging people out, beating them with stones. There were knifes, stones, machetes, butcher knifes -- they were using everything that came to hand." "Many Chinese were running for their lives," Alonso said, estimating that he had seen at least 35 ethnic Chinese covered in blood, but had not seen any dead. Describing the masses of rioters as mainly Tibetan men in their late teens with only a few monks in the crowd, he said that in front of the Banakshol hotel where he was staying, all the stores and restaurants had been ransacked. "There are none left, they've all been burnt," he said. Alonso, who arrived in the city on Wednesday, said the tension between Tibetan and Chinese police had been palpable before youths exploded with rage. The unrest in Lhasa began on March 10, the 49th anniversary of a failed Tibetan uprising that led the Dalai Lama to flee into exile in India. China's atheist communist rulers have controlled the devoutly Buddhist region since 1951. "I was not afraid," continued Alonso. "I knew they weren't going after me. It would be one thing if they said 'get the Spaniard,' but the Tibetans were going after the Chinese." "One girl, they grabbed her on the street and took her towards a door before kicking and stoning her. The girl was crying out for help." As vehicles, storefronts and restaurants burned late Friday, the Chinese military rolled in with tanks and armoured vehicles. Alonso said he and a Dutch couple he had befriended knew it was time to escape. "There was a time (Friday night) when shots were fired. Then on Saturday morning there were shots -- several bursts of them." "With every passing moment, there were more and more soldiers. We said, 'we're leaving'." As Alonso and his friends cut through back streets swarming with heavily armed Chinese troops, the Spaniard said parts of the ancient city were already in ruin. Buildings and cars burned, while all manner of goods -- rice, flour, meat, dresses, textiles, desks, chairs -- littered the streets. "At one point, one super aggressive Chinese military guy came up to us yelling," Alonso said. "The guy grabbed his gun, shot bang, bang, bang into the air. I thought to myself, 'He better not drop his machine gun.'" With foreign journalists being denied entry into Lhasa, it is impossible to determine how many people were killed in the violence. Thirteen people were killed, the chairman of Tibet's government, Qiangba Puncog, told reporters in Beijing. Exiled Tibetan groups say about 80 Tibetans were killed, and possibly many more. Dalai Lama Attacks Cultural Genocide:

Genocide is when you try to exterminate a race, you cannot commit genocide on a culture which is not an entity. Because genocide is an emotional word, arouses emotion, if it is true the Dalai Lama said that he is falsifying to exaggerate in order to stir sentiment against the Chinese or stoking the situation, inciting Tibetans to become even more angry and so that is a statement fraud with karma not merit.

It is because a person is attached to a culture that he identifies with (self identity views is one of three fetters to future woe) that he is upset about a culture being suppressed. All culture, not just Tibetan but Chinese, is false, based on commonly shared delusions, rules and rituals and so anyone who is attached to culture is deluded headed for woe.

Programmed seeing:

Just as it is possible to program a industrial robot to do a certain thing (eg welding joints) in a certain way, it may be or is possible for people to program themselves to see certain things in a certain way (aka style) that differs from others.

And so it is that although people might like to think they are such wonderful spontaneous beings, they have programmed themselves such that they only see certain things and avoid or do not see certain things, they always see in a certain way (eg through the corner of their eyes or looking down on others) that differs from others.

People hear, smell, taste and touch certain things in certain ways that differ from others.

People think in a certain way about certain things that differ from others.

Whatever they want to say or do is programmed or there is a plan of what and how to say or do it and all they do is select the plan they think is appropriate and supply power to activate them.

A PERSON WHO ALWAYS PERCEIVE, THINK, SPEAK AND DO CERTAIN THINGS IN CERTAIN WAYS IS A ROBOT AND IT IS EVIDENT FROM HIS APPEARANCE AND BEHAVIOR AND IF YOU CANNOT SEE THAT THE PERSON IS A ROBOT YOU HAVE POOR DISCERNMENT, DO NOT SEE THINGS CLEARLY AS THEY TRULY ARE AND IT MAY BE BECAUSE YOU YOURSELF ARE A ROBOT AND IT IS NOT SURPRISING THAT A PERSON WHO IS A ROBOT AND DOES NOT REALIZE HE IS A ROBOT WILL SIMILARLY BE UNABLE TO SEE THAT OTHERS ARE ROBOTS NOT GENUINE LIVE SPECIFIC FOR THE OCCASION PEOPLE.

No instructions:

A live person has no instructions in his mind telling him what to see and what not to see, telling how to see (eg by using force to stare, to restlessly dart his eyes, to look through the corners, to look down on others); he merely sees whatever is in front of him without added force to prolong (stare) change speed and strength of force (seeing with attractive stirring of speed and strength or repulsive stirring of speed and force).

PEOPLE DON’T JUST SEE, THEY TELL THEMSELVES TO SEE THINGS THEY LIKE OR STIR THE SPEED AND STRENGTH OF THEIR MENTAL FORCE ATTRACTIVELY (PRETTY GIRLS OR PASSING ROLLS ROYCE) AND AVOID OR REFUSE TO SEE THINGS THEY DON’T LIKE (EG BEGGARS), THEY SEE WITH A FORCE PROLONGING, FORCE CHANGING SPEED AND STRENGTH THAT IS CONSISTENT IN THEM AND DIFFERS FROM OTHERS. IN OTHERS WORDS, THERE IS A STYLE IN HOW THEY SEE AND WHAT THEY SEE AND DON’T SEE.

Pushing on a string:

The markets cheer every action by the Fed but what the Fed is doing has been likened to pushing on a string rather than pulling on a string.

It is effective to pull a string, it is ineffective to push a string and so the Fed may be quite powerless to reverse the slide to recession and even depression.

Bukit Tinggi:

Recently another tremor about 2.2 on Richter scale was experienced at Bkt Tinggi.

It is called Bukit Tinggi because it is high and the reason it is high is because it is thrust highest up by shifting earth crust and so Bukit Tinggi may be a point of maximum stress caused by the earth crust shifting as a result of movements of Sumatra towards Malaysia with the Straits of Melaka representing a trough that resulted from the build up of lateral forces.

Thus the recently frequent tremors at Bukit Tinggi may reflect instability as a result of the frequent earthquakes in Sumatra pushing land towards Malaysia and there may be a massive earthquake at Bukit Tinggi if the tremors are the result of the awakening and shifting earth.

Disaster is not inevitable:

The earth and mankind may already be doomed to end in catastrophe but it is not necessarily that it must be so but it reflects mankind’s foolishness and recklessness that it is doomed.

It is because people have exploited the ocean fisheries way beyond basic consumption, they have used nets that rake in juvenile fish so that future generations of fish are doomed, young fish are killed before they can breed, they use explosives to fish that the ocean fisheries are headed for depletion.

It is because people buy more houses (they even have holiday houses) than they need because of greed for self gain that the pressure on the environment, to clear land for housing is much greater than necessary.

It is because people eat more than they have to that more land has to be cleared for planting.

The style with which people drive is wasteful, they drive with a heavy foot on the accelerator and so they use more petrol than they would if drove gently. They sit in their cars with air condition on whilst they wait for another. Thus a lot of petrol consumption may be wasteful or unnecessary.

People use plastic bags without concern, they amount of plastic bags they use can be reduced drastically if they show some concern for the environment.

It is not necessary for people to air condition everything, their places of work, living rooms and bedrooms and this serve to accelerate global warming.

ANYONE WHO THINKS THAT GLOBAL WARMING AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION IS UNAVOIDABLE HAS WRONG VIEW. A LOT OF THE CONSUMPTION IS IN TRUTH RECKLESS AND AVOIDABLE AND SO SHOULD THE EARTH BECOME UNSTABLE, MANKIND IS TO BE BLAMED ALMOST ENTIRELY.

Badawi Convenient scapegoat:

Many within UMNO are laying the blame on the election setback squarely at Badawi’s feet when they were all guilty of feeding at the trough, of corruption that turned the voters against them.

There was internecine warfare in Gerakan, MCA and MIC (even UMNO, think Perlis & Trengganu) that saw those who supported for leaders that lost being punished by not being selected even when they were popular with the constituents.

THUS THOSE WHO CALL FOR BADAWI’S RESIGNATION SHOULD LOOK AT THEMSELVES IN THE MIRROR TO SEE IF THEY THEMSELVES ARE NOT CORRUPT AND HAVE NOT CONTRIBUTED TO VOTER BACKLASH.

Why some people are short lived, sickly and stupid?

You may not agree with the Buddha but does not necessarily mean what he said is false.

He says that if you kill beings here then if you don’t go to hell when you are born here you are short lived.

If you like to beat and make others suffer (without killing them) then if you do not go to hell, you will be sickly when you are born here.

If you are fortunate to be born with an opportunity to learn the dharma, you do ask the wise what is wholesome and what is not, then you will be born STUPID in the future.

If you are not charitable then you may be born poor.

Whatever the Buddha said is true and so you may not believe what he said below is correct but if he has been quoted correctly then you should act accordingly.

The Shorter Exposition of Kamma

2. "Master Gotama, what is the reason why inferiority and superiority are met with among human beings? For one meets with short and long-lived people, sick and healthy people, ugly and handsome people, insignificant and influential people, poor and rich people, stupid and wise people.

3. " Beings are owners of kammas, heirs of kammas, kammas as their homing-place. It is kammas that differentiate beings according to inferiority and superiority."

5. "Here, a man is a killer, murderous, bloody-handed, merciless to all living beings. Due to having performed and completed such kammas, after death, he reappears in a state of deprivation, in perdition, in hell. If, after death, instead of reappearing in hell, he comes to the human state, he is short-lived. (it is killing that determines that your future lives are short)

6. "But here a man, having abandoned killing, abstains from killing, lays aside the rod and knife, is considerate and merciful. Due to having performed such kammas after death, he reappears in a happy destination. If, after death, instead of reappearing in the heavenly world, he comes to the human state, he is long-lived wherever he is reborn.

7. "Here, a man is one who harms beings with his hands or sticks or knives. On the dissolution of the body, he reappears in a state of deprivation...If instead he comes to the human state, he is sickly wherever he is born. (If you harm others without killing them, then your future lives will be sickly)

9. "Here a man is angry, much given to rage; resentful, he shows ill-temper, hate and surliness. After death, he reappears in a state of deprivation...If instead he comes to the human state, he is ugly wherever he is reborn. (Anger leads to ugliness)

11. "Here a man is envious; harbors envy about others' gains, honor. After death, if instead he comes to the human state, he is insignificant wherever he is reborn.

13. "A man is not a giver of food, drink, cloth to monks or brahmins. After death he reappears in a state of deprivation...or he is poor wherever he is reborn.

15. "A man is obdurate and haughty; he does not pay homage, or rise up for whom he should rise up. After death, he reappears in a state of deprivation or if he comes to the human state, he is low-born wherever he is reborn.

17. "A man when visiting a monk does not ask: 'What is wholesome, what is unwholesome? What is blamable & blameless? What should be cultivated & not cultivated? After death, he reappears in a state of deprivation...If instead he comes to the human state, he will be stupid wherever he is reborn.

Why Himalayas Are So High & Tibet Is The Roof Of The World:

Recently there have been persistent tremors that appear to be unusual in Malaysia’s Bukit Tinggi.

What may be their significance that may be drawn by inference from the processes that led to the formation of the Himalayas, the highest mountain range & Tibet, the highest plateau in the world that were born of the collision between the Indian subcontinent and Asia?

There was initially a sea between India and Tibet but as the Indian subcontinent collided with Asia at Tibet (probably over the last few hundred million years), it raised and thus obliterated the sea in between so that fossils of sea creatures can be seen high on the Himalayan mountains.

When two land masses collide, the zone of collision crumples to produce depressions (seas) and elevations (mountains) in order to accommodate the previously much bigger land that has now been squashed into a much smaller space.

Thus seas are places where the crushed land has been pushed downwards because there is little resistance underneath to stop the land going downwards whilst mountains are the result if there is strong resistance underground and the crumpled land has nowhere to go but upwards where there is only air that offers no resistance.

The Indian ocean plate is actually slipping under the Asian plate at Sumatra and this serves to reduce the force of collision (it is not a direct collision but a sliding under restricted only by friction between the two sliding masses. The reason why there is a ring of volcanoes in the Indonesian islands and in the Andes is because as the land slips into the interior of the earth, it is compressed and heated up and the water and organic material (sulphur) trapped in the descending earth heats up to become superheated steam that rises to the top by melting the earth above and where they reach the surface, they present as volcanoes spewing molten rocks and sulphurous gases.

There are no volcanoes on the Himalayas indicating that the process of sliding under (eg India going under Asia) is minimal or absent and it is a direct frontal collision like two cars head on and the reason why the Himalayas are the tallest mountains in the world may be because it is a direct face to face collision here with no slipping of one plate under another as compared to Sumatra and the Andes where there is slippage.

When India collided into Asia, they keep pushing into each other without giving way so that the collision zone had nowhere to go but higher and higher until they created the highest mountains in the world and Tibet the flat land in the interior was also elevated and elevated such that the molten connection between surface Tibet and the interior of the earth became stretched and stretched until it snapped so that Tibet broke off its mooring to the interior of the earth to float un-tethered as the highest plateau in the world.

THE HIMALAYAS ARE THE HIGHEST MOUNTAINS IN THE WORLD BECAUSE IT IS THE PRODUCT OF A DIRECT COLLISION BETWEEN INDIA AND ASIA WITH NO SLIPPAGE OF ONE UNDER ANOTHER. THIS IS INDICATED BY THE ABSENCE OF VOLCANOES THAT ARE SIGNS OF SLIPPAGE AND THE RISE OF SUPERHEATED STEAM AND SULPHUR FROM THE COMPRESSED DESCENDING EARTH.

TIBET IS THE HIGHEST PLATEAU IN THE WORLD BECAUSE IT WAS BEING PUSHED UPWARDS RELENTLESSLY BY THE RISING HIMALAYAS UNTIL ITS MOORINGS TO THE MOLTEN INTERIOR OF THE EARTH SNAPPED SO THAT IT THEN ROSE UNFETTERED TO BECOME AS HIGH AS IT IS TODAY.

As the Indian ocean plate slipped under Sumatra, it pushes Sumatra towards Malaysia resulting in the depression called the Straits of Malacca where there is little underground resistance and the Main Range of peninsular Malaysia where there is resistance and thus the reason Bukit Tinggi is so high may be because it is the place where there is the most resistance to the lateral movement of the earth from Sumatra to the South China Sea.

The recent strong earthquakes at Sumatra may signify two things:

a) The vibrations as a result of friction being overcome and the Indian ocean plate slips further into the interior or

b) Apart from slipping into the earth, the Indian ocean plate is also pushing Sumatra towards Malaysia and exerting pressure on peninsular Malaysia to similarly shift eastwards and the tremors at Bukit Tinggi may signify it is struggling to resist the pressure to shift that may end in maintenance of the status quo or more likely, it will have to yield and move, triggering a more powerful earthquake in the future.

THUS THE RECENT ONGOING TREMORS AT BUKIT TINGGI IS LIKELY LINKED TO THE EARTH MOVEMENTS IN SUMATRA AND THEY MAY SIGNIFY THE MINUTE LAND ADJUSTMENTS NECESSARY TO ACCOMODATE OR THEY BE A PRELUDE, INDICATING A BUILD UP OF PRESSURE AT BUKIT TINGGI THAT DEMANDS A SIGNIFICANT SHIFT LATER EASTWARDS.

VOLCANOES ARE THERE NOT FOR SHOW BUT THEY ARE THE PLACES WHERE THE CRUSHED SUPERHEATED WATER AND ELEMENTS TRAPPED IN THE SUBDUCTING OR DESCENDING PLATE OF THE EARTH MELTS OR BURN ITS WAY UP TO THE SURFACE TO BE VENTED.

If you intend to say that he contributed many things in many fields then you have false perception that ‘colourful life’ means many different achievements.

The use of ‘colourful’ and ‘legendary’ is to signify the writer’s attraction for and worship of Clarke that he wants to recommend to you and therefore he is speaking about his liking or stirring of his mental force by Clarke. It is meaningless, all about force stirring to speak of Clarke being colourful or attractive and so what he conveying is about force not reason and it is therefore false and the fact that he and you think what is said is meaningful may reflect his and your advanced false perception of what is meaningless is meaningful or true.

The man of truth speaks of the many achievements of Clarke and leaves others to decide if he is a legend. Legendary implies he is un-quantifiably famous or great and that is false. Would you call Jesus or the Buddha legendary, do you think they will be pleased if you described them as legendary?

THUS HERE AS IN MANY PLACES PEOPLE THINK THEY SPEAK THE TRUTH OR WHAT IS MEANINGFUL BUT WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS CONVEYING THEIR LIKES AND DISLIKES, THEIR SADNESS AND HURTS AND FEARS AND THESE ARE CONVEYING EMOTIONS, CONVEYING FORCE THAT ARE MEANINGLESS.

Can the Dalai Lama Resign?

The Dalai Lama offered to resign if Tibetans launched an armed struggle. He is supposed to be a reincarnation of the previous spiritual leader and so how can you resign from being the reincarnation of the previous spiritual leader unless it is faked?

If his threat is not based on reality but to restrain those bent on violent, then he is lying to achieve an end (manipulating others) and there is no justification to lie. Thus either he does not know what he talking about in resigning or it is a falsity issued as a threat. You must not threaten anybody because that is ill will that is the way to suffering not heaven.

The life of sci fi writer Sir Arthur Clarke

If you let your yes be yes only, you speak of the life of sci fi writer Sir A Clarke, anything more, ‘colourful’ and ‘legendary’ comes from evil not good according to Jesus.

It is because the person is desirous of attracting readers to read what he wrote that he falsified by adding colourful and legendary to attract interest or curiosity of readers who might otherwise ignore the article.

It is force not reason that is the origin of people’s actions:

It is force not or very seldom reason that is the originator of people’s actions in speech and deed.

It is their aggression (forcefulness or attacking), likes and dislikes (or prejudices), sadness, hurt and fears that are all about force that is the motivation of what they say or do which are all pre-recorded in their mental jukeboxes and all they do is select the response they think is appropriate and use force to power them.

Because people mistake their likes (attraction) and dislikes (repulsion) as meaningful, they are not even aware that they are liking and disliking even as they launch into the ‘reasons’ (actually excuses or rationalizations) for their actions, they are fooled that their actions are based on reason when they are based on aggressiveness, like or dislike, sadness, hurt and fear.

How did it happen that a person with one dollar come to lend others $19?

The only possibility is that this entity eg a reputable bank borrowed from elsewhere eg depositors, inter bank and on the money markets to lend more than it has in order to get rich faster.

You would not lend your money to a beggar or gangster for fear of not getting your money back but the unscrupulous man with a good reputation that you trust may use your money to lend recklessly to get rich quick.

Thus it is with modern money market funds, avaricious bankers used their banks’ good names to borrow more and more to lend to anyone who will take their loans, even if they had no income, no collaterals and poor credit history, not just to buy houses but spend on their credit cards and they then parcel off those loans with the help of conniving rating agencies as triple A securities/derivatives or hide the loans in off the table vehicles so that they can borrow more to lend more.

Now many world famous banks have portfolios of loans that are in theory worth very much and they are solvent but as house prices continue to fall and the value of the loans they hold diminish in value and they are perilously close to if not already insolvent. Should depositors and lenders want their money back, they cannot sell their loans that nobody now wants (The Fed came in to accept them for cash) and they therefore have no money to pay depositors or lenders who want their money back.

You may think your money deposited in Maybank or Public Bank is safe but it may already have been recklessly lent to consumers, companies and property developers often with arm twisting by politicians and so if you want your money back, Maybank may not have the money you want and some years ago, Bank Negara had already passed the law that they will only guarantee $50,000 of any deposit in any bank. Should the bank collapse $50,000 is what you have left even if you deposited $1 million and do not be too sure bank Negara has the money, it may be printing fresh paper.

Markets are not efficient and self regulating:

The US government’s position concerning (free) markets is that the government should intervene and regulate as little as possible because markets are efficient and self regulating. This is clearly not the case especially in the housing market where money was lent recklessly with considering borrowers incomes and no collateral.

Markets are not guided by genuine reason but driven by greed, emotional herd instinct and foolishness.

Thus anyone who believes in non regulation by governments and efficient markets are deluded and has wrong view that is the way to hell or the animal womb. Markets need to supervised closely and regulated so that they will behave for the common good.

NOT ONLY MUST MARKETS BE REGULATED COMPREHENSIVELY BUT THEY MUST BE POLICED CLOSELY BECAUSE MARKETS ARE ALL ABOUT GREED, A BATTLE OF CONFLICTING GREED THAT CAN SPIRAL OUT OF CONTROL AND INCITE UNFAIR, UNDERHAND TACTICS TO GAIN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE.

Dollar not yet in free fall: The dollar may be falling rapidly in value but it can be worse if the oil producers were to remove their peg to the US dollar. Inflation is severe is gulf states as a result of the peg to the falling dollar and there is pressure to un-peg but they are looking to follow the Saudis who are likely to under pressure by America to maintain the peg. Should the Saudis throw in the towel, disregard friendship and un-peg the US dollar will fall even more sharply because demand for it will be considerably reduced. Thus there are fears that the US dollar may plunge causing even worse harm to the US and world economy.

Subjective and objective descriptions:

To describe Arthur Clarke as a sir, sci fi writer is correct or true if he is indeed a sir and sci fi writer by definition but to describe his life as colourful and himself as legendary is subjective and a personal perception that may not be valid for others. Thus not everyone will agree his life is colourful or that he is a legend. So by saying it is colourful and he is a legend you are unrighteous, wanting others to believe it is so and so you are wrong or false to say so.

Wanting others to like you is evil not virtuous:

When you want someone to like you by behaving or speaking in a way (melodious with undulating stretching, changing speed and loudness with accompanied ‘gentle’ smile) and substance (flattery) you are not being good but evil because when a person’s mental force is stirred attractively to like you, he or she is under the influence of force to be amenable to whatever proposals you may have in mind that he or she may decline if he or she is not under the influence of attractive force generated by your behaviour that is intended to make him or her like you.

Only a person whose mind is free of force and therefore calm, clearly thinking, without stress, restlessness and distraction 9division of his or her attention) can think clearly and decide on a course of action that is best for him or her and so by intending to stir the other person’s mental force to like you, you are inebriating (making drunk with force) him or her, compromising him or her to agree to your proposals and that is unfair and evil, apart from subjecting his or her mind to force that stresses, makes restless and distracted that is the path to sadness and feeling hurt.

IF WANTING AND BEHAVING IN A WAY THAT MAKES THE OTHER PERSON LIKE YOU IS LIKE PLYING THE OTHER PERSON WITH ALCOHOL SO THAT HE OR SHE WILL BE INTOXICATED WITH HIS REASON DIMINISHED AND AGREEABLE TO WHAT YOU WANT FROM HIM OR HER, THEN YOU ARE EVIL NOT GOOD.

How come banks got so much toxic loans?

If banks have cleared the loans they made how come they have so much toxic loans on their sheets?

The reason is that they bought toxic loans in the guise of triple A securities from other banks, they used a lot of money from depositors to lend out and now these depositors if panicked want their money back and they have no money but stacks of paper that is worthless or hard to cash in today’s fear ridden markets.
