The
difference between fear and stress:
There are two opposing forces in the minds of all beings here, the force
of going against self that is the drive of all activities in speech and motion
undertaken by the individual and the force of self preservation that always
acts in opposition to the force of going against self, resisting and retarding
it and bringing the activity of the force of going against self to an end.
With fear, something happened eg a tiger appears, causes the person’s
force of going against self to suddenly drop its strength and his suddenly
unopposed force of self preservation rises sharply in strength causing him to
stop what he was doing and retreat, run away.
With stress, the force of self preservation has risen significantly in
strength opposing his force of going against self but he nevertheless is
determined to press ahead with what he wants to say or do and so this causes
him to heedlessly push ahead continue with raised headwind and accompanying
stress.
STRESS IS EXPERIENCED WHEN A PERSON’S FORCE OF SELF PRESERVATION IS
SIGNIFICANTLY PERMANENTLY RAISED AND OPPOSES HIS FORCE OF GOING AGAINST SELF
THAT NEVERTHELESS IS DETERMINED TO PRESS AHEAD.
FEAR IS EXPERIENCED WHEN THE PERSON’S FORCE OF GOING AGAINST SELF
SUDDENLY DROPS IN STRENGTH AS A RESULT OF SOMETHING HAPPENING ENABLING HIS NOW
POORLY OPPOSED FORCE OF SELF PRESERVATION TO RISE SHARPLY IN STRENGTH SO THAT
HE STOPS WHAT HE DOING AND IS DRIVEN TO ESCAPE, RUN AWAY.
Egypt:
The Next India or the Next Pakistan?
Egypt is Egypt and never India or Pakistan and it is totally unnecessary
and false to see Egypt in terms of India or Pakistan which is a form of
rehashing recorded understandings of India and Pakistan to apply to the current
situation in which the person has no genuine understanding only rehashed
recorded understandings.
It is not that he knows it will be thus but he is speculating about the
future of Egypt that is never based on reason but driven by vested interests or

person to speculate). Whether Egypt turns out to be another India or Pakistan
(impossible) does not matter, are you going to tamper or intervene to alter its
course?

would look to examine and look for lessons or programming for future reference.
As long as mankind or society remains seriously sick and there is a
sizeable pool of psychotic or sick individuals nurtured by the sick society,

Insane
not harmless pursuing what is futile:
If something is futile and you think it is possible then you are deluded
and that is the path to future woe not safety. The discerning knows what is
possible as possible, what is impossible as impossible, not what is impossible
as possible. And if you undertake something without knowing whether it will
work or not then you must do so with raised self resistance that ends in
stress.
It is never harmless or without consequence to pursue what is futile but
it ends in suffering. The discerning man has abandoned all pursuits in this
world and so he does not pursue what is futile, bringing peace and harmony on
earth.
Jesus said a bad tree cannot bear good fruit and so if mankind is a bad
tree, no good can come out of it and Jesus said he has not come to bring peace
on earth (because it is impossible).
Compromise is not good but evil. The person who thinks that even if
things are far from perfect, practical things can be done to mitigate or
ameliorate things is like the man struggling even furiously to bail out water
from a leaking boat without plugging the leak.
IF SOMETHING IS AN EXERCISE IN FUTILITY AND YOU THINK IT IS FEASIBLE
THEN YOU HAVE FALSE PERCEPTION. IT IS FOOLISH NOT WISE TO ATTEMPT SOMETHING YOU
DO NOT KNOW IS FUTILE OR FEASIBLE.
PURSUIT OF WHAT IS FUTILE IS NOT ONLY FRUITLESS VEXATION BUT IS THE PATH

and so anyone who is drawn by the cute look of a rice ball has serious false
perception that ends in mad perception. No one has the right to speak for
others, to say everyone loves the cute rice balls and so he is speaking falsely
asking for suffering.
THE PERSON IS SPEAKING FALSELY TRYING TO PROMOTE THE RICE BALLS BY
DWELLING ON ITS CUTENESS AND BEING LOVED BY ALL. BECAUSE HE IS GUILTY OF
FALSITY HE IS HEAPING KARMA ON HIMSELF. FOOD IS MEANT FOR EATING AND TASTING,
IF LOOKS ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU THEN YOU ARE A PERVERT.
WHAT THE STAR SAYS DOES NOT MATTER. IF SOMETHING IS THE TRUTH, IT IS NOT
WHAT THE STAR SAYS, BUT IT IS THE TRUTH, IF SOMETHING THE STAR SAYS IS FALSE OR

OBTAIN APPRECIATION THEN IT IS NOT THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS BUT HOW VALUABLE OR
IMPRESSIVE YOUR GIFT IS AND SO HE IS DENYING REALITY IN ORDER TO GIVE AN EXCUSE
FOR HIS STINGINESS OR FAILURE TO GIVE A BIG PRESENT.
THUS HE IS TELLING A LIE TO COVER-UP HIS FAILURE TO GIVE A BIG PRESENT
AND WANTS TO SELL YOU A CON OR JUSTIFY HIS STINGINESS.
THERE IS ONLY ONE OBJECTIVE TRUTH ABOUT GIVING THAT APPLIES TO ALL GIVING

OF GREED, ILL WILL AND DELUSION OF THE RECIPIENT THAT COUNTS.
IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT THE GIFT IS, AS LONG AS THE GIVER IS GLAD
BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER GIVING, THE RECIPIENT IS WORTHY, NOT GREEDY, HATEFUL
OR DELUDED THEN THAT IS THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE GIVING.
BECAUSE WHAT HE SAID IS WRONG, HE HAS WRONG VIEW THE BUDDHA SAID IS THE
PATH TO HELL OR THE ANIMAL WOMB.
Speaking
in justification not understanding:
You don’t speak in justification of yourself but in understanding what
you say is true and so without understanding as true, ‘it is the thought that
counts not the value of the gift’ you should refrain from saying so otherwise
no matter how fervently you believe it as true, you must speak with raised self
resistance that conditions you to speak with self resistance that bonds you to
stress.
WHEN A PERSON SAYS IT IS NOT THE SIZE OF THE GIFT BUT THE THOUGHT THAT
COUNTS, HE IS NOT SPEAKING BECAUSE HE KNOWS WHAT HE SAYS IS TRUE BUT HE IS
SPEAKING TO CONVENIENTLY JUSTIFY HIS PUNY GIFT.
YOU CAN ONLY GIVE THE BUDDHA ONE MEAL AND THE MERIT IN HAPPINESS ACCRUED
FAR EXCEEDS THE MILLIONS IN CHARITY YOU MAY GIVE TO THOSE WHO ARE NOT WORTHY.
THAT’S WAY THE UNIVERSE GO AND YOU MUST ACT ACCORDINGLY.
It
is not the thought but gladness that counts:
All giving even the rinsing from a food bowl tipped into a pool is a
form of sacrifice, the Buddha taught and so you must sacrifice with gladness
before, during and after, not the thought or thinking.
THOUGHT IS ONE THING, GLADNESS IS ANOTHER THING AND SO IF YOU WANT TO
KNOW WHAT COUNTS, ACCORDING TO THE BUDDHA IT IS NOT THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS BUT
THE GLADNESS (AND LACK OF REGRET OR MISGIVINGS) IN GIVING OR SACRIFICING
BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER THAT COUNT.
The Buddha: "I tell you, Vaccha, even if a person
throws the rinsings of a bowl into a village pond, thinking, 'May whatever
animals live here feed on this,' that would be a source of merit. But I do say
that what is given to a virtuous person is of great fruit, and
not so much what is given to an unvirtuous person. And the
virtuous person has abandoned five factors and is endowed with five.
" He has abandoned sensual desire ... ill will
... torpor & lethargy ... restlessness & anxiety ... uncertainty. He is
endowed with the aggregate of virtue... concentration... discernment...
release... knowledge & vision of release of one beyond training.
"I tell you: What is given to one who has
abandoned these five factors and is endowed with these five, bears great fruit.
"In a herd of cattle, whether black, white,
ruddy, brown, dappled, uniform,
or pigeon gray: if a bull is born --
tame, enduring, consummate in strength,
& swift -- people yoke him to burdens,
regardless of his color.
In the same way, wherever one is born
among human beings --
noble warriors, priests, merchants, workers,
outcastes, or scavengers --
if one is tame, with good practices,
righteous, consummate in virtue,
a speaker of truth, with conscience at heart,
one who's abandoned birth & death,

done the task fermentation-free,
gone beyond all dhammas,
through lack of clinging unbound:
ruddy, brown, dappled, uniform,

It
depends on what your purpose in giving is:
If your purpose in giving is to appease, please or impress others then
the size or value of your gift certainly counts, to refute is to speak falsely
liable for punishment and insanity.
If your gift is out of necessity not frivolous, to truly benefit the
recipient, then what is the gift (eg food or money or shelter instead of
perfume or Rolex watch or Ferrari) matters and a feeling of goodwill, desiring
the wellbeing of the recipient is important.
FERRARIS, DIAMONDS, ROLEX WATCHES OR IPHONES ARE NOT ESSENTIAL ITEMS,
NEVER FOR THE TRUE BENEFIT OF THE RECIPIENT BUT PANDERS TO HIS MATERIALISM AND
ATTACHMENT TO THIS WORLD AND SO THERE IS LITTLE IF ANY TRUE MERIT THERE EVEN IF
IT COSTS MILLIONS TO GIVE.
GIFTS THAT ARE TRULY FOR THE BENEFIT FOR THE RECIPIENT ARE SIMPLE AND
NECESSITIES LIKE FOOD, CLOTHING, MEDICINE, SHELTER.
THUS IF YOUR PURPOSE IN GIVING IS TO APPEASE OTHERS, TO IMPRESS OTHERS
YOU ARE LYING TO SAY THE SIZE OF THE GIFT DOES NOT MATTER.
A
gift of the Gospel or Dharma is higher than all material gifts:
A gift of the gospel or dharma if successfully understood and
implemented will deliver the recipient from endless death and suffering to
eternal woe free life and so a gift of the gospel or dharma is supreme compared
with all material gifts and ordinary people have wrong view that an
introduction or exposure to the gospel or dharma is not worth much.
This was said by the Blessed One: "There
are these two kinds of gifts: a gift of material things & a gift of the
Dhamma. Of the two, this is supreme: a gift of the Dhamma. There are these two
kinds of sharing: sharing of material things & sharing of the Dhamma. Of
the two, this is supreme: sharing of the Dhamma. There are these two kinds of
assistance: assistance with material things & assistance with the Dhamma.
Of the two, this is supreme: help with the Dhamma."
The gift he describes as foremost
& unsurpassed,
the sharing the Blessed One has extolled:
who -- confident in the supreme field of merit, wise, discerning --
wouldn't give it at appropriate times?
Both for those who proclaim it and those who listen,
confident in the message of the One Well-gone:
it purifies their foremost benefit --
those heeding the message of the One Well-gone.

A
parody and abomination of giving:
Jesus said what is exalted by men is an abomination in the sight of God
and so giving that is exalted by men may be an abomination in the sight of God.
Every instance of giving can be examined and its true nature determined
and most ordinary giving, seasonal giving can be found to be crass, a mockery
of giving.
Things are given to people who are dear to appease and impress and bond
them in selfish motivated relationship and objects that are given are
frivolous, unessential, panders to the covetousness of the recipient like
diamond rings, perfumes, toys, cars and gadgets.
PEOPLE GIVE GIFTS SELFISHLY TO PEOPLE WHO ARE DEAR TO THEM WITH THE
INTENTION OF BONDING THEM TO THEM, TO PLEASE AND IMPRESS PEOPLE IMPORTANT TO
THEM.
THE VAST MAJORITY OF GIFTS ARE NOT TRULY USEFUL BUT FOR SURFEIT
CONSUMPTION AND SERVE TO HOOK THE RECIPIENT TO CONSUMPTION THAT HAS DEMERIT
RATHER THAN MERIT.
GIVING IS A RITUAL, A TRADITION AND SO PEOPLE ARE PRACTICING RITUALS
THAT THE BUDDHA SAID IS ONE OF THREE LOWER FETTERS TO FUTURE WOE WHEN THEY GIVE
BECAUSE IT IS EXPECTED OF THEM AND THEY ALWAYS DID SO IN THE PAST, NOT BECAUSE
THERE IS SPECIFIC REASON TO DO SO.
Windows’
many serious flaws:
There are many serious fundamental flaws with Windows that shows
Microsoft can be quite incompetent, does not know what it is doing.
When I started Windows 7 update today it told me there are no updates
available when I knew there were major updates and so I clicked check for
updates and after much time, the message came up that there were 10 major

there are no updates because it said without checking.
Again if you click open a folder with many files the first message is
that the folder is empty when if you waited, the folder is then populated with
all the files. It is potentially dangerous to tell the user the folder is empty
before checking because he might delete the folder or wonder what has happened
to his files.
Recently I searched high and low to get Windows defender to do a scan of
my computer. It was nowhere to be found and I finally had to type a search for
‘virus scan’ before the security centre popped up. I still do not know how to
find the scan centre without typing a search and to save me a lot of trouble I
now pin it to the task bar.
When I select a group of files to copy to another destination the
pertinent option that is not available is replace only the files that are older
or changed.
Every time I start all my Windows 8 computers I get the nuisance pop up
message that this or that program has failed to start, click OK to proceed
without giving me any recourse to either uninstall or suppress it.
EVEN FROM SOMEONE WHO IS NOT A HEAVY USER OF WINDOWS I CAN FIND MANY
SERIOUS FLAWS IN IT (SOME I HAVE NOT MENTIONED) AND IT GOES TO SHOW THE
ENGINEERS AT MICROSOFT ARE BUNGLING FOOLS WITH SERIOUSLY FLAWED LOGIC, SO MUCH
FOR PROFESSIONALS.
How do you know he is a born leader? Just because he is a very good
leader does not make him a natural leader let alone a born leader and you have
no right to say that unless you know it is true he was a born leader.
IT IS NOT BECAUSE THE PERSON SEES AND KNOWS IT IS TRUE SOMEONE IS A BORN

Leadership particularly of men who are mostly goats (bad and foolish) is
not to be aspired, it is a form of entanglement that the Buddha said is not a
sign of greatness and rather than the glory and the power or privileges it
comes parcelled with, wrong leadership that leads followers to suffering is
fraught with horrendous potential karma that may take much suffering to repay.
FOOLS AND THE GREEDY HARBOUR AMBITIONS TO LEAD (BECAUSE THEY ARE
ATTRACTED BY THE ALLURES AND PRIVILEGES OF LEADERSHIP) AND THEY WORSHIP
LAEADERSHIP QUALITIES. THE WISE KNOW IT AS A FORM OF ENTANGLEMENT AND MISGUIDED
LEADERSHIP IS AN AVENUE TO EVEN TERRIBLE KARMA TO BE REPAID AS FUTURE
SUFFERING.
THERE IS WEAK AND STRONG LEADERSHIP IN WHICH A PERSON CONTROLS THROUGH
INTIMIDATION AND CHARISMA A COMMUNITY OF BEINGS WHO ACT ACCORDING TO HIS
DICTATES.
THERE IS GOOD LEADERSHIP THAT LEADS FOLLOWERS ON THE PATH TO HAPPINESS
AWAY FROM SUFFERING (VERY RARE IN THIS WORLD) AND THERE IS BAD OR FALSE
LEADERSHIP THAT LEADS FOLLOWERS ON PATHS THAT ARE WOE AND END IN WOE AND THIS
IS THE OVERWHELMING TYPE OF LEADERSHIP IN THIS WORLD.
LEADERSHIP IS ASSOCIATED WITH AMBITION AND ONLY THE DELUDED AND GREEDY
ARE AMBITIOUS, WANT TO LEAD AND WORSHIP LEADERSHIP NOT REALIZING THEY ARE
PRESENTING THEIR HEADS ON THE CHOPPING BOARDS EVEN FOR AN ETERNITY. THE WISE
ARE DISENTANGLED, THEY ARE NOT INVOLVED IN HUMAN AFFAIRS LET ALONE THEY WANT TO

Sounds
nice but makes no sense and is a rules logic:
‘Discretion is the better part of valour’ is actually a form of rules logic that sounds nice but
it makes no sense to those with true understanding. Discretion is not part of
valour, the two are separate things and both are not true basis for action
which is whether something done is relevant to the occasion, is beneficial, essential
and not harmful.
THERE IS NO NEED TO BRING DISCRETION AND VALOUR INTO THE CONTEXT OF THE
SITUATION BUT WHAT IS NEEDED IS AN UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT THE CORRECT THING TO
DO IS, NOT BASED ON DISCRETION OR VALOUR.
IF IT IS TRULY MEANT NOT FOR SHOW LIPSERVICE THEN IT MEANS THAT FACED
WITH THE SITUATION HE CONSULTED THE RULES LOGIC ‘DISCRETION IS THE BETTER THAN

solve or he shuts down and devote his attention entirely to what is present,
his task at hand.
The musing has nothing to do with the holidays and so it is wrong to
call them holiday musings.
You do not make propositions on the genealogy of religion, either you
know the genealogy of religion or you refrain from proposing which are lapsing
into complications and falsity.
AND SO WHAT IS SAID IS CONTRADICTORY AND FALSE, THE RESULT OF MUDDLED
THINKING THAT IS THE PATH TO WOE.
PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD CANNOT HELP MUSING BECAUSE THEY ARE ADDICTED,

programmed ways of behaving that makes them perceived as hawks or doves.
WITHOUT BEING A ROBOT ACTING CONSISTENTLY IN A CERTAIN WAY A PERSON
CANNOT BE A HAWK OR DOVE AND SO YOU ARE SPEAKING ABOUT PROGRAMMED ROBOTS AS
LEADERS OF COUNTRIES RATHER THAN TRULY UNDERSTANDING LIVE BEINGS.
Only
insight can deliver truth:
Thinking can never deliver the truth by itself but whatever is the
product of thinking is fabricated and false.
A person may think and think and not arrive at the truth but suddenly
insight may occur in him and he arrives at the truth.
THINKING REQUIRES WORK AND IT IS SUFFERING AND JUST BY THINKING A PERSON
CANNOT ARRIVE AT THE TRUTH, ONLY BY INSIGHT OR MENTAL SEEING CAN HE ARRIVE AT
THE TRUTH. A PERSON MAY THINK AND THINK BUT IT IS THE FLASH OF INSIGHT THAT IS
INDEPENDENT OF HIS THINKING, DOES NOT REQUIRE THINKING THAT FINALLY DELIVERS
THE TRUTH.
