A person can only lose his interest in this world if he becomes happy and so lose interest in suffering and death and the only way you can be happy and lose interest in this world is if you lose your style to become effortlessly free from emotions, stress, restlessness and distraction. It is impossible for a person who has lost his style to be interested in this world.

If people knew their destination:

Many people do not realize they are heading for endless deaths and suffering mostly in the animal world, if they can see this they will not be so complacent and indifferent but redouble effort to escape death and suffering that exists, is possible.

At the moment, up to middle age they are strong and healthy, able to absorb and recover from the serious abuses of their own and others' behavior they expose themselves to but as they grow old their minds and bodies deteriorate and their ability to recover weakens and they may moan and despair that is not only suffering but worsens and bonds them tighter to their plight of deepening suffering that will finally kill them directly or indirectly.
