There is only one version of the truth and anyone who says many versions is deluded, has wrong understanding.

Truth is whatever happened and whatever happened can only happen in one way. You can speak the truth in Chinese, Indian or Malay or you can use different words that have the same meaning to transmit the truth but there remains only version of the truth as it actually happened.

The Buddha said from an inconstruable moment comes transmigration and beings shrouded in ignorance and fettered by desires are wandering on. He also spoke of eons of cosmic expansion and eons of cosmic contraction.

If what he states is the truth that whatever words you choose to say it, whatever language you choose to say it in must convey the same message or meaning.

THINGS CAN ONLY HAPPEN IN ONE WAY NOT MANY WAYS AND SO WHATEVER WORDS OR LANGUAGE YOU CHOOSE TO DESCRIBE IT, IT MUST ESSENTIALLY CONVEY THE SAME MESSAGE.

IF BT MANY VERSIONS, YOU MEAN IT IS UP TO A PERSON TO INTERPRETE WHAT HAS HAPPENED, YOU MAY SAY IT IS BLACK BUT HE MAY ALSO SAY IT IS BLACK THEN YOU ARE DELUDED AND COURTING INSANITY.

You are mad to talk of the many versions of truth:

If the many versions of truth you speak of essentially mean the same, convey the same message you are mad to dwell on and highlight the many versions of the truth.

If the many versions of truth you speak of differ from each other in substance and therefore contradict or are at variance to each other then the person with true understanding knows this is impossible, either one or all of the versions are false, it is impossible for more than one version of many versions to also represent the truth.

IF THE MANY VERSIONS OF THE TRUTH YOU SPEAK ABOUT MEAN THE SAME, SAY THE SAME THING THEN YOU ARE MAD OR SILLY TO DWELL ON THE MANY VERSIONS OF THE TRUTH.

IF THE MANY VERSIONS OF THE TRUTH YOU SPEAK OF DIFFER IN SUBSTANCE THEN IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ALL OR A FEW OF THEM TO BE TRUE. ONLY ONE OR ALL THE DIFFERENT VERSIONS ARE FALSE.

Money printing delays reckoning that will be worse:

Governments all over the world have no choice but to print money because the debt in the system far exceeds many times the wealth in the system which has also become preponderantly in the hands of the wealthy few individuals and multinationals that are refusing to lend to the system for fear of loss.

Without the massive continuing money printing the system would have collapsed cataclysmically but what printing does is essentially cheating, substituting payment by printing for those who have defaulted, unable to meet their commitments.

But what this achieves is never a cure for the sickness but it delays the inevitable whilst at the same time allowing it to fester and get worse until the printing becomes ineffective at which time the collapse may be even worse.

MONEY PRINTING WHICH IS WHAT IS GOING ON MASSIVELY IN THE WORLD IS NEVER THE TRUE SOLUTION BUT IT CONTINUES THE CHARADE AS IF DEFAULTERS HAD NOT DEFAULTED AND THE BANKS ARE SOLVENT WHEN THEY ARE INSOLVENT. NOTHING MEANINGFUL HAS BEEN DONE TO RECTIFY BUT INSTEAD MANKIND HAS ASSUMED THE JOURNEY TO THE FINANCIAL CLIFF DOWN WHICH IT WILL PLUNGE IN DUE COURSE.

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? MANKIND HAS NEVER LIVED HONESTLY WITHIN HIS MEANS THROUGHOUT. YOU EXPECT MANKIND TO COME CLEAN AND SWEAR HIMSELF OFF CHEATING? WHEN IN TROUBLE, CHEAT EVEN MORE, PRINT EVEN MORE.

Truth has no versions:

Truth has no versions let alone many versions as touted by RPK.

Truth is such and merely requires stating not versions which are personal interpretations that reflect falsity and self identity views.

Truth is whatever happened and so it is such and such, not subject to versions or interpretations which are all false.

Thailand surprises with rate cut

In an unexpected move, Thailand's central bank cuts interest rates in a bid to boost domestic demand amid fears of a slowdown in its exports.

It is an absolutely wrong move to cut rates in response to economic slowdown because you are trying to stimulate borrowing or debt to boost the economy.

IT IS ALWAYS DANGEROUS AND FINALLY FATAL TO SUPPORT OR BOOST A FLAGGING ECONOMY WITH RATE CUTS BECAUSE YOU ARE ENCOURAGING DEBT THAT MUST BE REPAID LATER (IF EVER) AND THIS WILL LEAD TO FUTURE RECESSION WHEN REPAYMENT IS DUE AND RECOVERY BOOSTED BY DEBT IS TOTALLY WRONG HEADED. NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE BORROWING IS LIKELY SPENT ON CONSUMPTION (EG BUYING CARS, APPLIANCES AND HOUSES) THAT WILL NOT EARN MONEY TO REPAY BORROWING.

AND SO IT IS THAT EVEN SIMPLE MATTERS, EVEN IN MATTERS DEAR TO THE HEARTS OF CALCULATING ACQUISITIVE (GREEDY) HUMANS THEY FAIL TO UNDERSTAND THAT CUTTING RATES TO STAVE OFF DOWNTURNS IS AN ABSOLUTE NO NO, IT POSTPONES THE INEVITABLE COLLAPSE THAT WILL WORSE THE LONGER IT IS DELAYED.

Ex-Goldman Executive’s Tell-All Book Falls Short

A former executive from Goldman Sachs fails to deliver much in his book, writes James B. Stewart.

But stripped of its incendiary conclusions, Mr. Smith’s manifesto was curiously short on facts.

Rather than a statement of the truth, the reviewer’s (ulterior) intention is to falsely dismiss the allegations of the book, to side with Goldman Sach’s.

If the accusations are incendiary, just because it is short of facts does make his book fall short which is an unwarranted conclusion with the effect of dismissing or casting doubt on the (serious) allegations made.

EXACTLY WHAT THE AUTHOR’S MOTIVE IS IN DISMISSING THE BOOK AS FALLING SHORT (EG TO SIDE WITH GOLDMAN SACHS) CAN BE KNOWN EVEN IF HE BELIEVES HE IS IMPARTIAL. A BOOK DOES NOT FALL SHORT NOR SHOULD IT BE TREATED WITH SCEPTICISM JUST BECAUSE IT LACKS EVIDENCE.

YOU MERELY STATE HIS ALLEGATIONS AND SAY THERE IS NO SUPPORTING EVIDENCE, THERE IS NO NEED TO BE SCEPTICAL AND DISMISS IT AS FALLING SHORT WHICH IS NOT A VALID LOGICAL CONCLUSION NOT WITHOUT PURPOSE BUT TO SIDE WITH GOLDMAN SACHS. IF YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE AN INDEPENDENT JOURNALIST YOU SHOULFD HAVE NO AFFILIATION OR SENTIMENT.

It is the evidence not book that falls short:

If it is true the book is short of evidence (but full of allegations) then it is the EVIDENCE that falls short not the BOOK that falls short and so either the journalist is guilty of bizarre logic (that ends in mad logic) or he is DELIBERATELY false in logic in order to defend Goldman Sachs.

IF THE BOOK LACKS DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE THEN IT IS THE EVIDENCE THAT HAS FALLEN SHORT AND YOU HAVE MAD LOGIC OR ARE PARTISAN TO SAY THE BOOK FALLS SHORT.

Guilty of other and self-deception:

If it is the evidence backing the allegations that are short, not the book that has fallen short then you are guilty of deceiving the gullible public (and dangerously yourself) in stating that the book has fallen short when it is the evidence that has fallen short.

JUST BECAUSE EVIDENCE IS LACKING DOES NOT MEAN THE BOOK HAS FALLEN SHORT BECAUSE THE ACCUSATIONS AS HE DESCRIBED IS ‘INCENDIARY’ AND THAT CANNOT BE SHORT. IT IS MUDDLED THINKING THAT ENDS IN AN UNCONTROLLABLY CONFUSED MIND TO SAY THE BOOK HAS FALLEN SHORT WHEN IT IS THE EVIDENCE THAT HAS FALLEN SHORT AND IT REFLECTS PEOPLE HAVE NO TRUE UNDERSTANDING THAT THEY ARE RECEPTIVE TO SUCH UNWARRANTED CONCLUSIONS.

Truth is, we haven't come a long way, baby

BRONWYN PIKE I am yet to hear a cogent critique of the deep cultural practices and economic structures that continually reinforce the subjugation of women in our community.

It is impossible she is addressing a baby, no one specifically or in general whom she is addressing is a baby and so even as she speaks about ‘truth is’ she is guilty of falsity with the purpose of stirring emotions, to be condescending and mischievous.

BY SAYING ‘TRUTH IS’ YOU ARE STATING YOU ARE CAPABLE OF TRUTH AND SPEAKING OF TRUTH AT THE MOMENT AND YET YOUR ‘BABY’ THAT IS TOTALLY IRRELEVANT, HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MATTER AT HAND, IS INTENDED TO STIR EMOTION, TO BE MISCHIEVOUS AND CONDESCENDING AND IS FALSE BECAUSE NONE OF THOSE ADDRESSED ARE BABIES BELIES YOUR AVOWED INTENTION TO TELL THE TRUTH.

Microsoft: Can a new look save Windows?

Windows 8 is aimed at keeping pace with rivals in mobiles and tablets

There is never a genuine need for anyone to speculate whether Windows 8 can save Microsoft and it is farfetched that Windows 8 and Microsoft is so important.

It is idle speculation (never knowing that it is true) that is evil and leads to suffering never goodness to speculate whether Windows 8 will save Microsoft nor is it certain that Microsoft’s survival is at stake.

Windows 8 is no big deal, it may be a significant development of Windows but it is mad to put so much vital importance on it and even should Microsoft vanish, it is no big deal, someone else will take its place if there is a need for that.

MICROSOFT IS NOT INDISPENSABLE AND SHOULD IT BECOME IRRELEVANT, SO BE IT AND SOME OTHER ENTITY WILL SUPPLANT IT.

WINDOWS 8 MAY BE A SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT BUT IT IS NOT SUCH A BIG DEAL THAT MICROSOFT’S SURVIVAL DEPENDS ON IT.

IT IS TO MAKE MUCH OF IT, TO SEE THINGS THAT MAY NOT BE ACTUALLY THERE, TO HARMFULLY STIR READERS’ IMAGINATION AND DELUSION TO POSE AND ANSWER THE QUESTION (BY GUESSING NOT TRULY KNOWING) IN ORDER FOR YOU TO EARN A LIVING AS A JOURNALIST.

RATHER THAN FOCUS ON TRUE OR RELEVANT ISSUES JOURNALISTS IN ORDER TO JUSTIFY THEIR JOBS START TO DELVE INTO FANTASY, IMAGINATION AND FABRICATE ISSUES THAT ARE MERE IDLE SPECULATION AND HAS SERIOUS DEADLY CONSEQUENCES IN MENTAL SUFFERING AND DEBT REPAYMENT.

There is no question of Windows vanishing:

So long as desktop remains, Windows remain relevant because it is needed to operate desktops.

MOBILES AND TABLETS PLAY NICHE OR SPECIALIZED ROLES, AT THE MOMENT (AND THEY MAY NEVER DO SO) THEY CANNOT REPLICATE WINDOW’S ROLE IN DESKTOPS AND SO EVEN IF DESKTOP COMPUTING SHRINK IN ROLE, BECOME A MORE ISOLATED SPECIALIZED ROLE, IT WILL STILL REMAIN AND WINDOWS IS STILL REQUIRED AND YOU ARE MAD TALKING ABOUT WINDOWS 8 SAVING WINDOWS.

It is a question of revitalizing not save Windows:

The relevant question is whether Windows 8 will revitalize Windows not whether it will save it. Windows is not in danger of vanishing in the near future but is in danger of diminishing role.

Still deadly idle speculation:

Whether Windows 8 will revitalize (not save) Windows is still idle speculation that is not healthy or harmless but is suffering now and leads to even greater suffering later.

It may be your job as journalist to pose and answer such questions that also stimulate readers (with karma not merit) but mental work needs to be done posing and answering those questions and because you can never know for sure the conclusions you arrive are correct, it must leave a stressed emotional mental state.

Guessing leads to opinions:

In order to arrive at the conclusion (opinion or view) whether Windows 8 will save Windows or not you must indulge in guessing based on the facts or strands of information available to you.

GUESSING IS ADDICTIVE, CONDITIONING AND EACH TIME YOU GUESS YOU ARE INDUCTING AND TRAINING YOURSELF IN SOMETHING THAT IS FALSE AND DANGEROUS THAT BECOMES ADDICTIVE, AUTOMATIC AND IT IS DANGEROUS AND SUFFERING.

THE PRODUCT OF SUCH GUESSING ARE OPINIONS OR VIEWS THAT ARE NEVER THE TRUTH BUT DELUSIONS, RECORDED REHASHABLE CONCLUSIONS THAT MAY LEAD TO DISASTROUS CONSEQUENCES.

Impossible for book with incendiary allegations to fall short:

It is possible for a book with mushy, vague allegations to fall short but it is impossible for a book the writer said contained incendiary allegations to fall short except to expose his partisan intentions to dismiss the book.

PEOPLE THINK THEY TALK GREAT SENSE BUT BY SAYING THE BOOK CONTAINED INCENDIARY ALLEGATIONS YOU ARE EITHER WRONG IN SEEING THE ALLEGATIONS AS INCENDIARY OR YOU ARE WRONG TO SAY IT FALLS SHORT. THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND WILL UNDERSTAND FROM THE CONTRADICTION THAT THE WRITER IS VESTED NOT NEUTRAL AND WHAT HE SAID IS PARTISAN.

Humans are robots and worse:

If you perceive humans as not robots, they are real live fully understanding beings, you perceive falsely, you do not perceive as it actually is because all humans here are robots and worse.

Whereas mechanical robots can only function as they are programmed, humans’ robotic programmed rehashed actions are driven by emotions, by stirred force that is blind and harmful, destructive.

A mechanical robot will not act on the basis of stirred anger, hate, dislike, lust, excitement, boredom, greed, jealousy or envy, sadness, confusion or hurt.

A MECHANICAL ROBOT ONLY DOES OR SAYS AS IT IS PROGRAMMED. IT USES PROGRAMMED FIXED RIGID RULES LOGIC TO DETERMINE ITS ACTIONS THAT ARE ACCORDING TO PROGRAMMING.

GOD CAN INSTANTLY CREATE A FERRARI MUCH BETTER THAN THE BEST FERRARI MAN HAS CREATED AND SO IF GOD WANTED ROBOTS IN HEAVEN HE COULD CREATE FAR SUPERIOR DOCILE LOGICAL ROBOTS THAN YOU AND SO IF YOU HAVE ANY ASPIRATIONS TO ENTER HEAVEN YOU MUST SUCCESSFULLY EXIT BEING AN EMOTION DRIVEN ROBOT TO BE A TRUE LIVE SPECIFIC TO THE OCCASION BEING, SOMETHING JESUS ALLUDED TO WHEN HE SAY A PERSON MUST BE BORN AGAIN IN SPIRIT TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

All right gov? Can government do the web?

The statement is never spoken in truth but it is contradictory to deride.

The ‘all right’ belies or contradicts the ‘can government do the web’. He is not simply asking the question he wants to know the answer but he is questioning, casting doubt and he is lying to say ‘all right’ when he means ‘not right’.

HE DOES NOT MEAN ‘ALL RIGHT’, HE MEANS ‘NOT RIGHT, THE GOVERNMENT CANNOT DO THE WEB’. HE IS CASTING DOUBT AND DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY IS ONE OF THREE LOWER FETTERS THE BUDDHA SAID LED TO FUTURE WOE. ‘DO THE WEB’ IS IMPROPER LANGUAGE THAT BESTOWS KARMA TO BE REPAID AS SUFFERING AND SO THE WISE PERSON SPEAKS PROPERLY EG ‘CAN GOVERNMENT RUN THE WEB’.

Singaporeans could be kinder:

You may think what you say is good (meritorious) and meaningful but it is hypocritical and useless then you are practicing controlled insanity that ends in uncontrollable insanity.

Public figures feel pressure to say things that is perceived as civic and for the good of society and so they routinely spout such statements as Singaporeans could be kinder for want of things to say in public speech not realizing the deadly karma not merit they are bequeathing themselves.

Kindness is not something you elect to turn up the volume or turn down the volume unless it is for show and it is not something you tell others in which they are merely robots doing as they are told.

If you are speaking as a wish, ‘could’ be kinder then you are deluded to desire others to be kinder. You are not responsible nor have powers over the behaviour of others. It is pointless and suffering wishing or desiring others to be kinder and if they respond they are doing so not because they are truly kinder but because they are doing as they are told by you.

PUBLIC FIGURES FIND THINGS TO SAY THAT IS ACCEPTED AS GOOD AND SO THEY SPEAK OF THINGS THEY THINK ARE SENSIBLE AND GOOD, ‘SINGAPOREANS COULD BE KINDER’ BUT IF YOU ARE SAYING IT TO PLEASE OTHERS THEN THAT IS HYPOCRISY THAT HAS SUFFERING AS ITS CONSEQUENCE LATER.

YOU DO NOT TELL OTHERS HOW TO BEHAVE NOR IS IT EFFECTIVE. IF WHAT YOU SAY WILL FALL ON DEAF EARS OR PEOPLE MERELY ROBOTICALLY OBEY IT BY TURNING DOWN THEIR VOLUME OF HARSHNESS THEN YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING USELESS NOT USEFUL AND TELLING OTHERS WHAT TO DO IN WHICH THEY ARE MERELY YOUR ROBOTS, WITH KARMA ATTACHED.

KINDNESS IS SOMETHING ALL OR NONE, IT IS NOT SOMETHING MEANINGFUL FOR ANYONE TO BE MORE KIND. EITHER YOU ARE TOTALLY OR FULLY KIND, WITHOUT HARMFUL INTENTIONS ON OTHERS AND HEADED FOR ETERNAL LIFE OR YOUR KINDNESS IN DEGREE, IN MORE KIND IS FOR SHOW, TO APPEASE AND IMPRESS OTHERS.

You may think what you say ‘Singaporeans could be more kind’ is full of goodness and meaningful and you may think what you hear ‘Singaporeans could be more kind’ makes a lot of sense, is correct but you may be deluded, it is meaningless and accords karma not merit.

True kindness is unrestricted, limitless:

There is true and there is false for show kindness.

True kindness is unrestricted, not restricted by colour or race consideration, sex considerations (kind only to sexy women not fat old men), status considerations or just humans (kind also to animals).

If your kindness has degree, can become more or less then it is never true kindness but fabricated for show kindness to please and impress others and it is always suffering, enforced, programmed and reluctant leading to suffering.

THE SINGAPOREANS COULD BE MORE KIND KINDNESS REFERRED TO IS NEVER THE TRUE KINDNESS THAT IS UNRESTRICTED, UNLIMITED BUT IT IS THE HYPOCRITICAL FOR SHOW MOTIVATED KINDNESS.

Swan unveils $1.1b surplus

On the surface Australia may be on a wonderful footing unlike the rest of the world but it may be an illusion.

By slashing $4 billion in spending, many people otherwise employed by the government will be jobless and with the private sector ‘slashing’ jobs the unemployment will rise and negatively affect the economy.

Further revenues he expects eg tax receipts may reduce even collapse and this may cause the expected surplus to evaporate.

Every ringgit counts

This is always a recorded rehashed statement in which the person is a rehashing robot and those who accept it as valid are without true understanding.

Only a calculating, money conscious person or scrooge will make every ringgit count, will subscribe to that message.

Every ringgit counts is a programmed logic that you remember and then rehash and apply to a situation again and again. People who are not robots do not appreciate or harbour such programs, ‘every ringgit counts’ and he makes pertinent decisions depending on the situation and so it is meaningless for him to state ‘every ringgit counts’.

On casual (isolated) listening on a good Hi Fi system, mp3 can sound very good but in a high definition system side by side comparison, mp3 is no substitute for audio CD which sounds superior, with more details and smoother.

ANYONE WHO THINKS AUDIO CD IS DEAD, LONG LIVE MP3 IS DELUDED JUST AS YOU ARE DELUDED IF YOU THINK DESKTOPS ARE DEAD BECAUSE OF TABLETS. AN AUDIO CD ON A GOOD DEFINITION HI FI SYSTEM STILL SOUNDS SUPERIOR TO MP3.

My relatively exotic Hi Fi system is more than 20 years old and yet the amplifier and speaker functions normally and recently I bought a relatively Hi Fi audio CD with USB player made by Denon and I conducted a comparison between Audio and MP3 played on the same player and I discern that the sound production of the audio CD is clearly superior to the mp3 even though the mp3 sounds quite good on its own.

YOU CAN SPEND A LOT OF MONEY FOR AN EXPENSIVE HI FI SYSTEM AND YET A CHEAPER ONE MAY SOUND BETTER. MANY DO NOT REALIZE WHAT THEY ARE MISSING IN TERMS OF SOUND QUALITY AND DETAIL FROM THE MUSIC THEY HEAR. IN THE SAME WAY MANY THINK THEY KNOW HAPPINESS, THEY KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE HAPPY AND NOT SUFFER YET THEY DO NOT REALIZE THERE IS FAR SUPERIOR HAPPINESS AND ABSENCE OF SUFFERING TO WHAT THEY HAVE EXPERIENCED.

A LOT OF MUSIC IS TOTALLY DISAGREEABLE TO ME BUT EVEN THE MORE PLEASANT ONES ARE TAINTED WITH SERIOUS STRESS INDUCING CONSTANT PROLONGING OF NOTES, CHANGES OF SPEED AND LOUDNESS. THERE IS HEAVENLY MUSIC AND IT IS CLEARLY SUPERIOR TO HUMAN MUSIC AND BEINGS HERE HAVE NOT A CLUE WHAT THEY ARE MISSING. WHAT THEY CALL MUSIC IS AN ABOMINATION. ONLY HEAVENLY MUSIC DEVOID OF STYLE DOES NOT LEAVE THE LISTENER STRESSED AND TIRED AFTERWARDS.

My Hi Fi system is actually 30 years old:

My British speakers and amplifier system dates from 1982 and so it is 30 years old and working fine.

Partly because it is seldom used and partly because I don’t abuse them playing loudly they have lasted 30 years and still sound superior to many modern Hi Fi systems.

Dynamism versus realism:

There are two facets of music reproduction, its dynamism and its realism and reflecting their propensity for force and force changes, it is more the dynamism of the reproduction that appeals to emotional people. To me, I focus on the realism, how realistic in terms of imaging as if the person or instruments are before you and where they are on the stage. It is not dynamism or the dramatic explosive shifts in loudness and speed/pitch that appeals to me but rather I find them disagreeable.

THE TENSION INDUCING STYLE OR PROLONGING, CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS IN MUSIC RENDERED HERE FAR OUTWEIGH WHATEVER PLEASURE THAT MAY BE DERIVED FROM THE MUSIC SO THAT I VERY SOON TIRE OF LISTENING.

THE SUBSTANCE OF THE REPRODUCED MUSIC IS THE REALISM, THE ABILITY TO CREATE THE ILLUSION OF A SINGER OR INSTRUMENT PLAYING BEFORE YOU AND THIS ABILITY VARIES CONSIDERABLY DEPENDING ON THE EQUIPMENT DESIGN.

My Dell Desktop sounds much better on headphones:

Desktops have soundcards that produce the music stored on computers and my Dell Desktop sounds much better on a AKG Hi Fi headphones than on the speakers supplied by Dell and so an upgrade to better speakers will be rewarding to those who want better music reproduction from their desktops, at least where my Dell XPS 8500 is concerned.

Old Dell speakers much more pleasant:

I had a few old Dell supplied ‘Hi Fi’ speakers made by Harmon Kardon, a speaker mfg of some repute and it sounds much more natural, less harsh than the speakers Dell supplied.

It is not very Hi Fi but the tonal balance and naturalness is clearly superior to the previous Dell speakers I used.

IT IS VITAL TO BE DISCERNING WHICH IS THE ONLY WAY TO PLEASANTNESS, I AM ABLE TO APPRECIATE WHICH SOUNDS MORE PLEASANT AND SO IT IS DEFINITELY MORE PLEASANT TO SWITCH TO MY OLD HARMON KARDON SPEAKERS WHICH ALTHOUGH NOT VERY HI FI, SOUNDS MUCH PLEASANTER.

Minimalist is a rule and Apple copied not invented it:

Apple or more likely Steve Jobs was renowned for the minimalist philosophy (philosophy is a rule and minimalist is a rule never true logic) that is reflected in Apple products but minimalist sentiments were well in existence before Apple’s time.

British Hi Fi products are renowned for their eccentric minimalist approach long before Apple came to the scene and so Apple did not reinvent minimalist but copied it. Expensive British amplifiers did not have any tone (bass, treble midrange) controls, no loudness and very limited input ports because they are deemed to undermine audio performance. In the same way expensive British speakers tend to have only two speakers, a tweeter and woofer/midrange rather than the array of speakers that the Americans tended to favour.

Minimalist ‘philosophy’ is in truth a rule that tells people who are robots who embrace it to design gadgets with a minimal of controls and make it as simple as possible.

MINIMALIST IS NOT ABOUT REASON, ABOUT TRUE UNDERSTANDING BUT IT IS A BLIND ACROSS BOARD COMMAND APPROACH, IT IS A RULE. Once I was on a small parallel road to the highway but the GPS thought I was on the highway and told me to proceed until I got stuck in a very narrow dangerous road. It is because GPS sample intermittently it can think you are on the correct road when you are on a wrong adjacent road and then subsequently when it discovers you are in the wrong place, it may guide you back to your intended destination via a path it plots that may lead to unpassable even dangerous roads that may be passable to 4WD but not your small car.

The British economy will not recover until the banks own up to their bad debts and are recapitalised again, the Governor of the Bank of England has warned.

$1 Trillion US deficit for fourth year:

Without successfully borrowing and borrowing to the tune of $1 trillion for the past 4 years Uncle Sam would have gone kaput.

People and nations buying US treasuries are a form of lending to Uncle Sam.

In addition, to cover the shortfall, Uncle Sam has cranked up the printing presses printing money to pay others be it wages for civil servants or creditors and this enable Uncle Sam to get by.

But such printing money may appear magical but recipients of this printed pile will one day return the printed money to request repayment in goods and services and even if Uncle Sam can fulfil, it means austerity or material starvation as a large chunk of goods and services would to simply repaying or redeeming these currently printed USDs or IOUs.

Should the US refuse to honour those obligations then it would be default and threaten chaos as others refuse to deal with the US.
