TALKING IS WORK AND THAT IS ALWAYS SUFFERING THAT CAN REACH TORMENTING MADDENING LEVELS WHEN YOU CANNOT STOP. PEOPLE LEARN TO SPEAK WELL BY PROGRAMMING BECAUSE IT HAS MATERIAL ADVANTAGES BUT NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE, IF WHAT YOU SAY IS FOR FALSE REASONS OR DOES NOT MAKE SENSE, YOU ARE TRAINING YOURSELF TO SPEAK WITHOUT TRUE REASON AND AFTER LIFELONG URGING YOURSELF TO SPEAK WITHOUT TRUE REASON, THE IMPULSE TO TALK CAN BECOME TOO COMPELLING TO RESIST AND CAN DRIVE THE TALKATIVE PERSON UP THE WALL, DISRUPT SLEEP.

THE WISE SPEAK SPARINGLY ONLY WHEN NECESSARY AND EVEN THAT THEY KNOW IS SUFFERING, THEY SPEAK FOR THE BENEFIT OF OTHERS. ORDINARY PEOPLE ARE GOOD AT TALKING BY CONDITIONING, PROGRAMMING AND THEY ARE ROBOTS OF TALKING.

There are no alternatives to truth and goodness, what is an alternative (to truth and good) is not true or good. What is false and bad has many alternatives but whatever the alternative you may choose, still it is false and bad and so if you say the Dalai Lama can decide (choose) whether he will reincarnate that is not a matter of truth or goodness.

Rather than a master of his reincarnation those who are not enlightened are slaves, it is their karma that determine their destination, as the Buddha said the being who has exhausted his merit in his lifespan in heaven can go down even to hell or the animal womb depending on what he has done in the past but the wise disciple of the Buddha extinguishes himself in heavenly bliss never to return to the world.

THIS IS MY UNDERSTANDING AND IF I AM CORRECT, THOSE WHO DIFFER HAVE WRONG UNDERSTANDING THAT LEADS TO WOE.

Truth and good are never matters for decision but seeing and knowing:

Whatever is true and good is never a product of decision but of seeing and knowing.

You can stop killing and harming others by decision which means you have an urge to kill and harm but you decide and forcibly suppress and that is never true and good but it is when a person sees it is evil and suffering to self and others to kill and harm, he has no urge to kill and harm because he sees the true nature of killing and harming, it is not a choice to him not to kill that it is true and good he does not kill or harm.

THE TRUTH ABOUT KILLING AND HARMING IS THAT IT IS EVIL, SUFFERING TO SELF AND OTHERS, OF NO GOOD AND THE PERSON WHO SEES THE TRUTH DOES NOT KILL OR HARM, TO HIM IT IS NOT A MATTER FOR DECISION BUT HE SEES AND UNDERSTANDS.

The Buddha’s birth is not a matter of choice:

It is said when the eon or age began the Buddha was born in the highest heaven waiting for his time to be born into this world in this his last existence, he would do battle with death and suffering he will triumph. Before he was born his future deputies were both born at the same time to two Brahmin families.

The Buddha is no ordinary being, He said He had been ruler of the gods many times, He was the holder of power for seven ages and so He was no ordinary being born into this world for the last time.

The Buddha calls himself Tathagatha, the one who thus comes, no one sent Him, He came thus.

Thus if you say the Dalai Lama can decide whether he will be reincarnate then it is a matter of delusion or what is said is false, not true, wrong.

People go to elaborate lengths discussing etiquette as if it is something true or meaningful when it is about rules and practicing them and hypocrisy, controlled insanity that leads to future woe.
