An example of an equity bubble was the late 1990s U.S. dot-com boom. When it ended, stock prices were devastated, but the crash led to only the mildest of recessions. 

Chinese property prices fell steadily in late 2014 and most of 2015. 

Chinese banks, local governments and many companies have relied heavily in recent years on various debt instruments sold directly to individual Chinese people through shadow banks. In a typical arrangement, a bank will set up a trust company that borrows money from individual investors by selling them securities that are, in effect, high-yield junk bonds. The proceeds from these bond sales are then invested, usually in real estate or in companies related to real-estate development, such as construction. 

This shadow banking system has enabled a large buildup of bad debt, much of it related directly or indirectly to real estate. If property prices fall, trust companies will go broke, and banks -- having invested in the trust companies -- will be on the hook. That will create the conditions for a really destructive crash. 

China’s stock markets began to soar in late 2014, just as property prices began to tumble. Investors may have been looking for some alternative to the housing market. Those investors probably pushed prices to unreasonable levels, which in turn likely drew in speculators looking to ride the wave of momentum. A crash at that point becomes unavoidable. 

So China’s stock market might simply be a symptom of something much bigger and more troubling going on beneath the surface -- the end of a huge property-based debt-fueled boom. That happened in Japan in the late 1980s -- the Nikkei 225 bubbled and crashed, but it was the long, slow, debt-powered rise and fall of the housing market that really undermined the Japanese financial system.

THE PERSON WHO HAS REACHED THE HIGHER STATES OF THE MIND HAS ESCAPED SUFFERING, DOES NOT REQUIRE THE ASSISTANCE OF OTHERS, IS NOT A BURDEN TO HIMSELF AND OTHERS, HE HAS FOUND THE PATH OUT OF SUFFERING AND DEATH.

SO LONG AS A PERSON REMAIN IN THE ORDINARY STATE OF THE MIND, HE MANIFEST THE SIMULTANEOUS SUBSTANCE AND STYLE COMBO, HE IS A REHASHER DEPENDENT ENTIRELY ON HIS MEMORY AND WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING HE IS DOOMED, NOTHING AND NOBODY CAN HELP HIM, HE IS INCURABLE.

1)  Do not kill

2)  Do not take what is not given

3)  Do not tell lies

4)  Do not drink intoxicants

5)  Refrain from sex and unchaste conduct

6)  Do not eat at night, eat once a day in the morning

7)  Do not wear decorations and perfumes

8)  Sleep on the floor.

If you have not lived up to what the Buddha tells you to do, how can you say it is worthless, will not work?

Having regrets is suffering never happiness and in expressing regrets you are going back on your past undertaking that has karma to be repaid as suffering.

What is the purpose expressing regret?

It is a manner of lashing out and portraying one as more powerful and generous as actually is.

REGRET IS SUFFERING AND CONDITIONING AND SO ONLY FOOLS HARBOUR REGRET THAT DETAINS HIM SUFFERING EVEN ETERNALLY.

What is the nature of regret?

If regret is something that exists, it has a nature that can be known and if you are talking about regret and you have understanding you should know what you are talking about.

Regret is never a matter of reason or truth but it is a stirring of mental force to dislike or be angry or upset with what you have done. If you have done wrong then that is a valid reason for regret but what has happened is a matter of falsity (bargaining about which seats to contest is a matter of falsity) then you are wrong to regret.

The person with true understanding sees what he has done is wrong and he acknowledges it to himself and others, he does not indulge in senseless, false harmful regret.

Getting their act together

Pakatan Harapan aims to be a more cohesive coalition with the launch of an agreement of common understanding but the challenge is whether the party leaders will play by the new rules.

If you speak of ‘getting their acts together’ you should understand what you mean and if you do not understand and you speak you are sticking your neck for the chop.

THERE IS NO NEED TO SPEAK OF GETTING THEIR ACTS TOGETHER, IT IS A FABRICATION THAT DEMEANS WHAT THE OPPOSITION IS DOING AS AN ACT, A SHOW (NOT TRUE OR GENUINE, CALCULATED TO SELL).

WHATEVER IS TRUE AND GOOD IS NOT AN ACT, WHATEVER IS AN ACT IS NOT TRUE AND GOOD AND SO IN SPEAKING OF THE OPPOSITION GETTING THEIR ACT TOGETHER YOU ARE DELUDED IF YOU SEE NOTHING WRONG BUT YOU ARE UNNECESSARILY DISMISSIVE AND SCORNFUL WITH DEBT INCURRED THAT LEAD TO FUTURE SUFFERING.

Tiredness is dangerous, suffering and avoidable:

Tiredness is what ordinary people experience frequently and they may think they understand tiredness when it is delusion.

Tiredness is always suffering never happiness except in delusion and it is the result of heedless doing or saying things with raised SELF RESISTANCE present for false or unnecessary purposes (in the name of greed) that results in partial never totally recoverable damage to the mind and body.

WITHOUT MENTAL AND BODILY WORK THERE CANNOT BE TIREDNESS.

IF A PERSON DOES AND SAYS WITH RAISED SELF-RESISTANCE THAT MAGNIFIES THE EXPOSURE TO AND HARM DONE BY FORCE. WHATEVER THAT IS SAID OR DONE BY REHASH, FOR FALSE REASONS (TO PLEASE OR IMPRESS, INTIMIDATE OR DOMINATE) CAUSES RAISED SELF RESISTANCE.

THERE IS NEVER A REASON TO SAY THAT, TO JUMP THE GUN OR PRE-EMPT. WHEN THE MOMENT (IF EVER) COMES THAT A CURE HAS BEEN FOUND YOU ANNOUNCE IT, WITHOUT KNOWING, TRYING TO INSPIRE OR STIR EMOTION, YOU ARE ASKING FOR DEBT TO BE REPAID AS SUFFERING TO SAY AMERICA CAN CURE CANCER WHEN IT TURNS OUT AMERICA CANNOT CURE CANCER.

Why Jesus rebuked Peter:

*    From that time Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes (it was these and not the Jews who got Jesus killed to get rid of him), and be killed, and on the third day be raised. 22 And Peter took him and began to rebuke him, saying, "God forbid, Lord! This shall never happen to you." 23*  But he turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance * to me; for you are not on the side of God, but of men."

Speaking without knowing something is true (that Jesus will not suffer and be killed) to comfort another is never good as deluded man believe not perceive but it is evil. Unless Peter knows what he says is true that Jesus would suffer and be killed when he went to Jerusalem he is not entitled to tell Jesus it will not happen. It is not because Jesus’ abuse and killing was arranged by God that Jesus knew what will happen to him but Jesus can foresee and know what will happen and he was simply saying what he knew was true what will happen to him.

IT IS WITH SEEING, WITH KNOWING THAT JESUS STATED THAT HE WOULD SUFFER AND BE KILLED WHEN HE WENT TO JERUSALEM.

IT IS WITHOUT SEEING OR KNOWING, SIMPLY TO WRONGFULLY COMFORT JESUS THAT PETER SAID THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN AND SO RATHER THAN GOOD, IT IS EVIL WHICH IS WHY JESUS REBUKED HIM. MANY LIKE PETER ARE MISGUIDED, THEY THINK WHAT THEY SAY IS GOOD WHEN IT IS NOT.
