The soul is composed of consciousness, memory and force:

Jesus said unless a man is born again in spirit and water he cannot enter the kingdom of God. This means it applies to everyone, everyone must be born again to go to heaven.

The soul of a person comprises his consciousness presiding over his memory and mental force. Style is an optional, removal property of his mental force component of his soul. The Buddha said there are three things that cannot be conjectured, it will lead to insanity. Conjecture is speculating or using blind memory to think or work out.

The Buddha range of an enlightened person, the meditative range of someone meditating and the working out of karma. The working out of karma for a person cannot be thought of. Karma works out differently for different people. A trifling deed can send one person to hell but only cause momentary discomfort in another.
