Anyone who truly wants to go to heaven must give up totally fighting and this is a tall if not impossible order for most, even religious ones who do not realize they are fighting all the time against suffering, against attacks on themselves by themselves, others and the elements.

Arguing is verbal fighting and so those who are wise, noble have stopped all arguing.

There are two components of fighting, attacking others and resisting attacks that may come from self, others and the elements in the form of words, sounds and physical force.

Jesus said turn the other cheek which means no resistance at all.

Whenever people are assailed by suffering they automatically resist the suffering eg resist the stress, restlessness and distraction, resist the pain and this is fighting, adds to the suffering, trains you to fight that's not the way to heaven.

It is because the prolonging, changing speed and loudness in your speech that attacks others also attacks you that you automatically generate resistance leading to stress.

Stress is caused by resistance and resistance is the other half of fighting opposite to attack.

TO GO TO HEAVEN YOU MUST TOTALLY STOP ATTACKING OTHERS IN WORDS OR ACTIONS. YOU MUST FURTHER STOP ALL RESISTANCE, YOU EVADE, AVOID ALL ATTACKS ON YOU BY OTHERS AND THE ELEMENTS BUT YOU DO NOT RESIST THEM.

THE PERSON WHO IS STRESSED IS RESISTING ATTACKS ON HIM BY HIMSELF, OTHERS AND THE ELEMENTS, IF YOU TRULY STOP RESISTING, AS IS POSSIBLE, THEN STRESS COMES TO AN END, YOU ARE NO LONGER GUILTY OF FIGHTING, ON THE WAY TO HEAVEN.

When you lift a forearm to ward off a blow you are resisting not turning the other cheek.

The only reason a person is stressed is because he's resisting to visible and invisible attacks by himself, others and the elements. Resisting is the half of fighting that includes attacking.

IT IS POSSIBLE TO TOTALLY GIVE UP ALL RESISTANCE AND THIS IS THE ONLY TRUE TOTAL END OF SUFFERING HERE AND THE WAY TO HEAVEN BUT IT IS DIFFICULT IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE VAST MAJORITY OF PEOPLE TO STOP FIGHTING FOR THEIR DEAR LIVES HERE, FOR THE LIVES OF THEIR DEAR ONES.

NO RESISTANCE IS THE KEY TO THE END OF STRESS AND THE WAY TO HEAVEN.

Anyone with style is a fighter, constantly attacking others with his force prolonging, changing speed and loudness and simultaneously resisting his own style and that of others' styles he associate with. Anyone without style is not a fighter, he is not radiating, attacking others with style or force prolonging, changing speed and loudness.

NO MATTER HOW MEEK OR TIMID HE STRIVES TO BE, IT IS IN VAIN, ANYONE WITH STYLE IS A FIGHTER CONSTANTLY ATTACKING OTHERS WITH HIS FORCE PROLONGING WORDS, CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS THAT ALSO STIRS HIS RESISTANCE TO HIS OWN AND OTHERS' STYLES.

This was said by Sariputta, the Buddha's deputy: The person who is a sinner, does what is wrong and does not know even thinks he is right is the lowest. Similarly people rush in what they say and do and this entail replay from memory. To rush you must know what you want to say and quicken the delivery making you a replaying robot.

BECAUSE YOU ARE FOCUSED ON THE LITTLE BEFORE YOU, THERE'S A VAST, INFINITE THAT YOU FAILED TO SEE, IF YOU COULD STOP SEEING YOU WILL ALSO NOT FAIL TO SEE THE REST MISSED SEE.

IT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE FOCUSED ON THE LITTLE BEFORE YOU THAT YOU FAIL TO SEE THE PLENTY NOT BEFORE YOU, THOSE LIKE THE BUDDHA WHO HAVE REACHED THE REALM OF NEITHER SEEING NOR NOT SEEING, SEE EVERYTHING.

SEEING, HEARING, SMELLING, TASTING AND TOUCHING ARE ACTIONS THAT HAVE SUBSTANCE AND STYLE IN ORDINARY PEOPLE AND JUST LIKE THINKING CAN BE STOPPED, PERCEPTIONS CAN BE STOPPED.

Confidence applies if one is acting or replaying:

Confidence and diffidence applies only because the person is acting, replaying from memory, if the person was not acting, not replaying there's no case he should experience confidence or diffidence, nervousness.
