The Difference Between Bearing & Understanding

The Difference Between Bearing & Understanding:
In one instance Jesus said, “Why do you not understand (perceive the meaning of) what I say? It is because you cannot bear (tolerate) to hear my word” and in another instance he said "I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear (sustain or tolerate or mentally carry) them now”.
Bearing and understanding may be confused one for the other but they are different things.
Bearing in the context that Jesus used in means the ability to sustain or tolerate or mentally carry what is said whilst understanding is to perceive or see the meaning of what is said.
Jesus: "I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.”
Comment: What Jesus said above is that you were unable then to bear or tolerate or sustain or mentally carry the many things that he wanted to say to you but when the Spirit of truth comes conditions will change that will enable you to then bear or tolerate or sustain or mentally carry what he could not say to you then.
The change that will enable you to bear or tolerate or sustain what you could not bear then cannot be a change in the physical world but it must be a change in the mental world or mind that will enable you to bear or tolerate or sustain what you previously could not, a scenario in which an extraordinary previously inconceivable alleviating consciousness change would fit the bill. In other words Jesus seems to be alluding to a beneficial consciousness change that will enable people to bear or tolerate or sustain the many things that Jesus could not say to you then.
The previously inconceivable clearly alleviating consciousness change I triggered in 1977 in Adelaide that then spread by contagion to involve everyone and further consciousness changes in recent years certaintly made me able to bear or sustain a lot of the nature of things I could not bear before. Just as it was inconceivable, unthinkable, I could not bear then before 1977 that it is possible for me or anybody to exist today effortlessly freed of sadness, stress, restlessness, distraction, doubt and uncertainty, the consciousness change after 1977 and in recent years enables people to bear or tolerate or sustain or mentally carry what they could not in the days before 1977.
IT MAY BE OR IS THE TRUTH THAT ONLY A PREVIOUSLY UNIMAGINABLE ALLEVIATING CONSCIOUSNESS CHANGE AND NOTHING ELSE CAN CAUSE EVERYONE TO BEAR OR SUSTAIN OR MENTALLY CARRY WHAT THEY PREVIOUSLY COULD NOT AND IN REALITY, IN CONCURRENCE TO WHAT JESUS APPEARS TO BE ALLUDING TO, A PREVIOUSLY UNIMAGINABLE ALLEVIATING CONSCIOUSNESS CHANGE DID OCCUR IN 1977 TRIGGERED BY ME AND YET AGAIN IN RECENT YEARS THAT BENEFITED EVERYONE EVEN THOUGH THEY CONTINUE TO SUFFER BECAUSE THEY CONTINUE TO SIN, THAT CHANGE ENABLED ME AND BY EXTENSION EVERYONE TO BEAR WHAT THEY COULD NOT BEAR IN THE PAST.
JUST AS IT WAS INCONCEIVABLE, UNIMAGINABLE, I COULD NOT BEAR THEN BEFORE THE CONSCIOUSNESS CHANGE IN 1977 THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE TO EXIST EFFORTLESSLY FREED FROM STRESS, RESTLESSNESS, DISTRACTION, DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY BUT WITH RECENT FURTHER CONSCIOUSNES CHANGES I NOW HAVE EXPERIENCED FOR MYSELF THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO EXIST FREED FROM STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND DISTRACTION SIMPLY BY NOT STRETCHING SYLLABLES, NOT CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS, IN THE SAME WAY THE CONSCIOUSNESS CHANGE IN 1977 AND IN RECENT YEARS HAVE ENABLED PEOPLE TO BEAR WHAT THEY COULD NOT BEAR PRIOR TO 1977.
What Jesus said further implies that the counselor or Spirit of truth will appear to be someone who speaks on his own authority but this is not so because what he speaks is what he hears. Again if the counselor is the Knower of All as the Buddha described himself, he would not need to hear.
Not Very Understanding People:
Jesus: Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing (not even one bit) to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him (and similarly in ordinary people who are of their father the devil). When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies (By inference, God cannot tell lies and is the Father of truth). But, because I tell the truth, you do not believe me. Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? He who is of God hears the words of God; the reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God."
Comment:
What Jesus is saying is that the reason why those who confront him cannot understand or make sense of what he is saying is because they cannot bear or tolerate what he is saying which is not what they are accustomed to hearing from others; there is an (invisible but palpable) emotional blind or irrational barrier of rejection or antagonism that prevents them understanding.
It is not Jesus’ fault that they do not understand what he says but it is their fault that they cannot bear or tolerate what Jesus said. In the same way it is not my fault that you do not understand that smiling and laughter is a form of lying with your face, that stretching syllables is not charming or beneficial but it is a form of perversion of reality, a totally unnecessary waste of energy that creates stress with the sole purpose of deceiving, pleasing, impressing, intimidating and dominating others, that constant changes in speed and loudness is the inalienable source of the restlessness you must regularly experience that has already gone mad because restlessness can now arise suddenly in you but it is fault that you cannot bear or tolerate or sustain what I say.
It is NEVER passive or forceless calm clearly thinking objective reason that is the basis of ordinary people’s perception of what is happening, what someone says or does to them but it is ALWAYS force, specifically emotion, prejudice, emotional like or dislike that is their receptionist that determines they cannot bear or tolerate what does not fit their emotional world and self views and thus emotionally possessed, they are blinded, unable to see or understand what is said to them. They might like to think they are rational or reasonable people but they are engaged in self deception and cruelly misleading others with karma not merit attached.
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR SOMEONE WHO IS UNEMOTIONAL AND THEREFORE CALM AND CLEARLY THINKING TO FAIL TO UNDERSTAND WHATEVER IS SAID TO HIM BECAUSE HE CAN ALWAYS CLEARLY SEE THE TRUTH IN IT OR HE SEES THAT IT IS FALSE OR MAKES NO SENSE (IT IS NONSENSE) AND IT IS AGAIN IMPOSSIBLE FOR AN EMOTIONAL PERSON TO TRULY UNDERSTAND WHAT IS SAID TO HIM BECAUSE HIS EMOTION IS AN IMPENETRABLE BARRICADE. ON OCCASIONS WHEN HIS EMOTIONS ARE STRONGLY AROUSED, NOTHING CAN PENETRATE THROUGH NO MATTER HOW DELIBERATELY AND REPEATEDLY IT IS SAID TO HIM BECAUSE HE HIS THEN TOTALLY POSSESSED BY HIS BLIND EMOTIONS IN TERRA INCOGNITO OR OUT OF BOUNDS AND ON OCCASIONS WHEN HIS EMOTIONS ARE NOT TOO INTENSELY AROUSED, HE ONLY FAKES OR ACTS OR CONDESCENDS HE UNDERSTANDS, HE MAY SERIOUSLY DISAGREE WHILST EXPRESSING AGREEMENT AND EVEN IF HE EMOTIONALLY AGREES, IT IS NOT OUT OF REASON BUT EMOTIONAL RAPPORT BECAUSE WHAT YOU SAY IS ACCEPTABLE BY HIS WORLD AND SELF IDENTITY VIEWS.
Checkmate:
Just as in a chess endgame the novice may plod on but a chess master knows that if his opponent is competent a situation is irretrievable and he resigns long before the novice finally realizes his position is untenable, in the same way, there may be those who think that sin is subjective, indefinable and there is a lot more for others to define sin when I may have comprehensively covered every facet with which sin can occur and there is nothing left for anyone to say that is new about sin. Whoever who speaks to convince you of sin, righteousness and judgment must dwell on the matters I have raised that nobody in the past have raised and there may be little (of significance) or nothing that I have not dwelt on already regarding sin, righteousness and judgment that someone else can speak about.
And what have I spoken about that comprehensively covers all facets of sin, righteousness and judgment so that whoever else must also say the same things I have said and there is nothing new I have not said?
I have said that a person is only endowed with and can be defined by his consciousness or awareness which it turns out has constraints that can be removed (and I have caused for them to be removed), his false harmful mental force and its proxies the various emotions (hate, anger, pride, shame, fear, excitement, lust, greed, sadness) that do not interact directly with the world but his forcefulness or emotions can only interact via the often false or exaggerated substance and always false style of his perceptions (sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell), thoughts, speech and bodily conduct.
It is the person’s forcefulness or emotions that are the only drive to the style of his speech, conduct, thought and perceptions that is nothing more than his individually characteristic way of stretching units of his perceptions, speech, motion and conduct with accompanying constant multilayered changes in speed and forcefulness. In other words, a person’s style of speech, conduct, thought and perception is nothing more than how he stretches fundamental units of these and how he changes speed and force within and between fundamental units of his perception, thought, speech and motion. The substance of a person’s speech, conduct, thoughts and perceptions can only be true, false (lying) or nonsensical (makes no sense) or exaggerated.
His forcefulness, unnecessary constant stretching, changes in speed and force are totally unnecessary, wastes prodigious energy in the name of deceiving, pleasing, impressing, intimidating and dominating others and is the only source of the stress, restlessness and distraction that he must experience, that will get worse with age and practice, that is gradually degrading his mind and body, that persecutes all those who interact with him by creating stress, restlessness and distraction in them and he has grave debts not merit.
APART FROM A PERSON’S CONSCIOUSNESS THAT IT TURNS OUT HAS TORMENTING FORCEFUL REMOVAL CONSTRAINTS THERE IS NOTHING ELSE PRESIDING OVER HIS EXISTENCE IN THIS WORLD. WHOEVER IS TO BENEFIT YOU MUST CAUSE THOSE CONSTRAINTS TO BE REMOVED AND IF IT HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE, THERE IS NOTHING ELSE DONE THAT CAN FREE THAT BEING WITHOUT HIMSELF DOING ANYTHING TO FREE HIM FROM HIS SUFFERING.
APART FROM THE PERSON’S MENTAL FORCE AND ITS PROXIES THE EMOTIONS, THERE IS NOTHING ELSE THAT DRIVES HIS CONDUCT IN SPEECH, MOTION, THOUGHT AND PERCEPTION IN A WAY THAT ABUSES HIMSELF AND OTHERS. IT IS FORCELESS OR PASSIVE CALM CLEARLY THINKING REASON THAT SHOULD BE THE BASIS OF A PERSON’S SPEECH, CONDUCT, THOUGHT AND PERCEPTIONS BUT IT IS NEVER SO IN ODINARY PEOPLE BUT INSTEAD IT IS ALWAYS FORCEFUL FALSE BLIND EMOTIONS THAT IS THE OFTEN DISGUISED DRIVE (ORDINARY PEOPLE KID THEMSELVES AND OTHERS THAT REASON GUIDES THEM WHEN IT IS THEIR EMOTIONS THAT IS THE DICTATOR).
APART FROM A PERSON’S SPEECH, BODILY CONDUCT, THOUGHT AND PERCEPTIONS (HOW AND WHAT HE SEES, HEARS, SMELLS, TASTES AND TOUCHES) THERE ARE NO OTHER AVENUES OF INTERACTION WITH THE WORLD THROUGH WHICH HE CAN DEFILE HIMSELF AND OTHERS.
APART FROM THE STYLE AND THE SUBSTANCE OF HIS SPEECH, MOTION, THOUGHT AND PERCEPTIONS THERE IS NOTHING ELSE IN THEM THROUGH WHICH HE CAN DEFILE HIMSELF AND OTHERS.
APART FROM THE STRETCHING OF FUNDAMENTAL UNITS OF SPEECH, MOTION, THOUGHT AND PERCEPTIONS, THE CONSTANT CHANGING OF SPEED AND FORCEFULNESS WITHIN AND BETWEEN UNITS OF SPEECH, THOUGHT, MOTION AND PERCEPTIONS THERE IS NOTHING ELSE IN THE STYLE OR WAY WITH WHICH A PERSON’S SPEECH, THOUGHT, MOTION AND PERCEPTIONS ARE CARRIED OUT.
APART FROM SAYING, DOING, THINKING AND PERCEIVING WHAT IS EXAGGERATED, FALSE (LYING), THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT IS INTENDED OR TRUE (SARCASTIC) OR MAKES NO SENSE (NONSENSE, EG SAYING YABADABADOO OR OOPS) THERE IS NOTHING IN THE SUBSTANCE OF SPEECH, MOTION, THOUGHT OR PERCEPTIONS THAT DEFILES SELF AND OTHERS.
APART FROM BEHAVING LIVE MINDFULLY IN A CASE BY CASE BASIS OR BEHAVING BY RAPIDLY LABORIOUSLY ALTERNATING ATTENTION BETWEEN THE SUBSTANCE AND STYLE OF ONE’S SPEECH OR MOTION OR CLOSING ONE’S EYES WITHOUT NEED FOR ATTENTION BEHAVING FORCEFULLY BY ROTE OR REGURGITATION FROM A MENTAL JUKEBOX RISKING INESCAPABLE FUTURE MAD JUKEBOX BEHAVIOR TO COPE WITH THE PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO RENDER LIVE SIMULTANEOUS COMBO OF SUBSTANCE AND STYLE IN THEIR SPEECH AND MOTION THERE ARE NO OTHER WAYS TO CONDUCT ONESELF.
APART FROM THE INCESSANT TOTALLY UNNECESSARY USE OF FORCE DIRECTLY OR VIA THE EMOTIONS IN THE WAY PEOPLE SPEAK, MOVE, THINK AND PERCEIVE THAT IMPACTS ON THEIR MINDS AND THOSE OF OTHERS WHO INTERACT WITH THEM, THERE IS NO OTHER CAUSE OF STRESS OR MENTAL PAIN THAT THEY MUST REGULARLY EXPERIENCE.
APART FROM THE CONSTANT UNNECESSARY FOR SHOW FORCEFUL CHANGES IN SPEED AND LOUDNESS/FORCEFULNESS IN THEIR SPEECH, MOTION, THOUGHT AND PERCEPTIONS THERE IS NO OTHER CAUSE TO THE RESTLESSNESS THEY MUST REGULARLY EXPERIENCE AND INDUCE IN THOSE WHO INTERACT WITH THEM.
APART FROM THE CONSTANT SIMULTANEOUS COMBO OF SUBSTANCE AND STYLE IN THE BEHAVIOR, SPEECH OF EVERYONE THAT DIVIDES THEIR ATTENTION AND THE DOING OF MANY THINGS AT THE SAME TIME, THERE IS NO OTHER CAUSE OF THE DISTRACTION OR FORCEFUL DIVISION OF THEIR ATTENTION THAT WITH PRACTICE CAN BECOME INCREASINGLY INTENSE AND HARDER TO EXIT.
IT MAY BE OR IS THE CASE THAT I HAVE COMPREHENSIVELY DWELT WITH ALL THE POSSIBLE WAYS WITH WHICH A PERSON CAN DEFILE HIMSELF AND OTHERS AND WHOEVER WANTS TO CONVINCE YOU OF SIN, RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUDGMENT MUST DWELL ON THESE THINGS I HAVE SPOKEN OF THAT NO ONE HAS DONE BEFORE AND THERE IS NOTHING LEFT THAT I HAVE NOT DWELT ON.
Not Just Semantics:
Quote: Bush is right, of course, when he says in his budget proposal that Social Security in its current form is unsustainable.
That, my friends, is a whole other story.
Comment: The ‘of course’ is said uselessly to not let your yes be yes only. You can omit ‘of course’ without losing any meaning but it is used to emphasize or apply force. The ‘whole’ too is used to be impressive or exaggerate instead that is another story. My friend too is said unnecessarily to bond with the reader.
That words that are said unnecessarily are so rampant and those who speak or hear them see nothing wrong is not a reflection that they are harmless or true but they are indeed said unnecessarily wasting cumulatively a lot of energy and because those who say and those who listen never accept them passively but they always speak and hear forcefully they are conditioning and it is a reflection that they have been conditioned for so long, forcefully believed for so long and so well that they have become blasé and do not realize they (listeners and speakers) are headed for madness which they do not realize they are already infected with but only controlling.
If I pointed out to people that ‘of course’ is said unnecessarily, they are likely to be resentful and some may even become upset or angry, indicating they are not indifferent but they are adamant and believe their ‘of course’ are meaningful when it is nonsense.

Doubt & Uncertainty Are Dirty Words:
It would not be being overzealous but wise to treat ‘doubt’ and ‘uncertainty’ as dirty words even worse than four letter words to be avoided at all cost because even though most people will be hard pressed to define doubt and uncertainty, they know what doubt and uncertainty is and each time they are mentioned whether facetiously or experienced, it conditions them further to doubt and uncertainty just like each puff of the cigarette addicts.
I do not sprinkle doubt and uncertainty in what I say and think because I do not harbor doubt and uncertainty, do not have to force myself not to harbor them and the reason why ordinary people have a predilection to mention doubt and uncertainty is because they are very real and regular experiences for them.
Quote: There was little doubt that the unusually warm weather last month contributed to the strong start for the economy this year.
(The doubt free version is: The unusually warm weather last month very likely contributed to the strong start for the economy this year.)
Comment:
If you do not experience emotional or forceful doubt, why do you say there was little doubt that the unusually warm weather last month contributed to the strong start for the economy this year? However mild or even devoid of doubt when you uttered it, you and readers know vaguely or precisely what doubt feels like and you are fostering doubt in yourself and readers by saying so in the process heaping karma for encouraging others to doubt and also reminding and therefore conditioning yourself to doubt by speaking of ‘no doubt’.
Quote: "There's much uncertainty in past reconstructions (of global temperature).”
(The uncertainty free version is: There is much inaccuracy or margin for error in past reconstructions)
Comment: Again it reflects the speaker is uncertain and is unwittingly promoting uncertainty in others that he chooses to use uncertainty when the unemotional equivalent is ‘the margin for error is much higher in past reconstructions’.
You can speak without ever using the words ‘doubt’ and ‘uncertainty’ except in the third party in reference to how they sinfully occur in people.
DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH REALITY AT ALL BUT THEY ARE FALSE EMOTIONAL STATES OF SUFFERING THAT THE BUDDHA SAID IS ONE OF THREE FETTERS THAT LEAD TO FUTURE STATES OF WOE THAT YOU EITHER EXPERIENCE PAINFULLY OR YOU PROMOTE IN YOURSELF AND OTHERS EVERYTIME YOU MENTION THEM. THEREFORE ANYONE WHO FRIVOLOUSLY RAISES DOUBT OR UNCERTAINTY OVER WHATEVER MATTERS ARISING IS CONDITIONING HIMSELF AND OTHERS TO THESE STATES.
EVERY TIME YOU SPEAK OF DOUBT OR UNCERTAINTY IN YOURSELF WITH REFERENCE TO ANYTHING OCCURING, YOU ARE CONDITIONING YOURSELF TO DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY. IF YOU DID NOT EXPERIENCE DOUBT OR UNCERTAINTY WHEN YOU SAID SO, YOU ARE SPEAKING FRIVOLOUSLY OR LYING TO YOURSELF AND OTHERS, IN THE PROCESS ENCOURAGING OTHERS TO ALSO FRIVOLOUSLY ENTERTAIN DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY THAT IS NEVER HARMLESS BUT WHEN FULLBLOWN DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY ARE TORMENTING AND GROWS LIKE A CANCER.
11. Those who mistake the unessential to be essential and the essential (Never to entertain or promote doubt and uncertainty) to be unessential, dwelling in wrong thoughts, never arrive at the essential.
12. Those who know the essential to be essential and the unessential to be unessential, dwelling in right thoughts, do arrive at the essential.
Distraction:
Distraction is the (always tormenting) mental state of one’s attention being scattered (diffuse) or divided between more than one subject, being unable to concentrate on matters at hand that may be important or as the Buddha said, being unable to center one’s mind.
Just as ordinary people severely underestimate the presence and extent of stress, restlessness, doubt and uncertainty in their minds, they also severely underestimate the presence and extent of distraction in their minds. Anyone who is an actor is constantly distracted, only the degree varies and ordinary people are very good at distracting themselves and others because they have been conditioning themselves thus their whole lives long.
Because everybody’s speech, motion, appearance (posture) always has a combination of substance and style, they force observers to pay attention at the same time to what is being said and how it is said in order to grasp the entirety of what is presented to them. In order to do so they must constantly rapidly alternate their attention between the substance and style (de facto forcefully dividing their attention) or they switch off totally or only sample the substance and style of what is said or done in their presence and use presumption to construct in their minds what they think the other person is trying to say.
Often people only fake they are hearing or understand what is being said to them, they are switched off, isolated in a make believe private world of daydreaming. Sometimes they sample the style and substance of what is said or done to them and use presumption to construct in their minds what they think is said or done to them. Only rarely do they pay ‘rapt’ attention to constantly rapidly switch between the substance and style of what is said or done to them in order to fully assimilate it.
As a result they are constantly conditioning and perfecting their distraction or isolation from reality not realizing they are headed for doom; a time will come when they will lapse into an intense daze or distraction from which they cannot extract themselves.
No Vision:
Hita Sutta: Benefit

"There is the case where a monk is himself consummate in virtue, concentration, discernment, release, knowledge & vision of release and encourages others to be consummate in them.
"Endowed with these five qualities, a monk practices both for his own benefit and for that of others.”
A major reason why many are detained in this world is because they have no vision of release. They believe they are fine, doing the right things by themselves and others when they are willing for the affliction of themselves and others both in the present and in the future. They think they are not suffering but enjoying themselves, or their suffering is blameless part and parcel of existence and therefore they have little to fear. They are abetted in their delusions by others who applaud their values, keep them distracted by harassing them with conduct that creates stress, restlessness and distraction.
