The person is thrilled (his mental force stirred excitedly) by his title and perceptions encapsulated in that title but he is talking nonsense and headed for insanity.
For blogging to be meaningful it is not an art which is always about style that is for show to attract or stir your and others’ mental forces.
IF ZEN HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ART OF BLOGGING AND YOU PERCEIVE SO, IT IS YOUR MENTAL FORCE ATTRACTION AND DELUSION THAT MAKES YOU SEE THE CONNECTION ND HE HAS ADVANCED FALSE PERCEPTION.
ZEN IS ACTUALLY A DEVIANT BRANCH OF BUDDHISM THAT IS NOT WHAT THE TRUE BUDDHA TAUGHT AND WHAT HE IS SAYING IS ‘DEVIANT BUDDHISM AND THE (FOR SHOW) ART OF BLOGGING’ WHICH IS ALL ABOUT FALSITY AND FORCE NOT TRUE MEANING.
IT IS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT AND IT SOUNDS NICE ‘ZEN AND THE ART OF BLOGGING’ THAT THEY THINK IT IS PROFOUND, FULL OF MEANING THAT CANNOT BE FATHOMED WHEN IN TRUTH IT IS A MOUTHFUL OF NONSENSE.
Why is blogging an art?
Blogging is only an art if you want to attract others to your blog or be successful or popular.
THUS YOU DO NOT BLOG BECAUSE YOU HAVE SOMETHING MEANINGFUL TO SAY BUT JUST TO MAKE YOURSELF SUCCESSFUL OR POPULAR AND SO YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE, WHAT AND HOW YOU BLOG IS NOT SO MUCH FOR MEANING AS A TOOL TO CULTIVATE YOUR POPULARITY OR SUCCESS.
Zen sounds chic or ‘wow’ because it has puzzling speech and deeds that because it is nonsense, fascinates or attracts people who are themselves deluded and being worshippers of style, it is not surprise that it is the art not substance of blogging that attracts and it is Zen and not what is stated in the Pali Canon that attracts them.
This world is also rehashed:
What is the point in creating an entirely different world for those who are inveterate rehashers? And so it is that for many Ages, the same old earth is rehashed again and again as implied by what the Buddha said where a magnificent Sala forest now stands, in the past there was a magnificent city.
In the Age to come there will again be another India that is by and large the same, only some detail changes differ as when a forest replaces what was in the previous Age a city.
IT IS TOTALLY UNNECESSARY TO CREATE A VERY DIFFERENT WORLD WITH EACH AGE. FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE INVETERATE REHASHERS IT SUFFICES TO RECREATE THE SAME OLD EARTH WITH SOME MINOR DETAIL CHANGES ONLY.
Good luck with that retirement!
The person who penned the headline and those who read see nothing wrong nor do they understand exactly what is meant.
The person cannot mean what he says because he is being sarcastic. He thinks the prospects are dim or dire and so his good luck is mocking or thinking it funny or liking what is bad.
There are many situations where people wish others ‘good luck’ and they cannot mean it, they are being condescending and what is important is that he is stirring conflict in himself and others and that is conditioning himself to be disturbed that will end in uncontrollable disturbance of the mind apart from karma for harming others and not meaning what you say or lying.
HE IS ACTUALLY LAUGHING AT THOSE HE ADDRESSES, HE CANNOT MEAN WHAT HE SAID. MANY DON’T EVEN REALIZE THEY ARE LAUGHING OR MOCKING OTHERS AND AS JESUS SAID, WOE TO YOU WHO LAUGHS, FOR YOU SHALL WEEP.
Don’t fight your feelings:
The feelings referred to are homosexual tendencies.
This is an order or program or instruction that does not need any understanding but just obedience or rejection. No understanding is needed, not even of the words but you need to be able to perceive each word said and the actions they are associated with and by stringing together the words and stringing together the actions they are associated with, you either do or refuse to do what the words you heard commands you to do.
The person thinks he is giving meaningful advice but he is deluded, incurring karma for himself.
He is telling the other person to give in to his urges of homosexuality or give in to force and do what force wants you to do. Thus it is not a statement regarding reason but a statement regarding (blind) force, regarding or commanding you give in to your mental force rather than fight it.
Even if you resisted, you are using force to resist force that gives rise to conflict so long as the urge for homosexual tendencies remain and the statement ‘resist the feeling’ too is all about force not reason, telling another to use force to counter opposite force that leads to stress and conflict.
If you do not have an urge for homosexuality, whence is there need to resist it or give in?
As long as you are stylish and emotional, you use force to stretch syllables, change speed and loudness, so long will you have the dynamo that generates attraction and repulsion for certain things that may be quirky like attraction to members of the same sex. When you have stopped using force to fabricate style you deprive your homosexual or heterosexual desires or lust of sustenance and there is no need to give in or resist and that is the end of all your woes.

Ahh! The joys of old friends:
Ah is an expression of stirred like and joy too is about liking. Thus the person is saying, “Like!, The like of old friends” which is a silly statement that in his and your false perception, it is meaningful. Like is merely the attractive stirring of his mental force that he wants to impart on you and so he is talking about force not something meaningful. Why should anyone stir his mental force attractively in relation to old friends? It does not serve any function but disturbs and degrades the mind exposing it to force.
THUS IT REFLECTS UNCONSCIOUS FALSE PERCEPTION THAT HE THINKS WHAT HE SAYS IS FULL OF MEANING WHEN HE IS TALKING ABOUT THE STIRRING OF HIS MENTAL FORCE ATTRACTIVELY IN RELATION TO THE TOPIC OF OLD FRIENDS AND HIS INTENTION IS TO SIMILARLY STIR YOUR MENTAL FORCE.
Force is their reason:
People think they have genuine reason but it may be that force is their reason or the source of all their actions.
Thus when a person gives in to his homosexual feelings, he will allow force (homosexual urges) to drive him to do certain things and therefore the motivation for doing those certain things is not reason but force or his homosexual feelings or urges.
If he resisted those feelings, it is again force that is stopping him from carrying out the actions that his homosexual urge wants him to carry out.
LIKE, DISLIKE, SADNESS, HURT, AGITATION AND FEAR ARE ALWAYS IN ATTENDANCE IN WHATEVER THE EMOTIONAL PERSON EXPERIENCES AND SAYS OR DOES AND THESE EMOTIONS ARE NOT JUST BYSTANDERS WHO HAPPEN TO BE THERE BUT THEY ARE THE DRIVES TO WHAT THEY DO OR SAY AND BECAUSE EMOTIONS ARE ABOUT FORCE, IT IS FORCE NOT GENUINE REASON THAT IS THE BASIS OF WHAT EMOTIONAL PEOPLE SAY OR DO.
WHEN THEY SEE OR HEAR SOMETHING, THEIR LIKE OR DISLIKE IS AUTOMATICALLY STIRRED AND THUS STIRRED, IT IS THEIR LIKE OR DISLIKE THAT IS THE DRIVE TO WHAT THEY SAY OR DO IN REACTION TO THE EVENT, NEVER GENUINE REASON THAT IS FREE OF FORCE.
He is crazy:
Not only is it meaningless and totally unnecessary or useless, he is wasting his energy exerting force on his mind that stresses or harms it, conditions it to force and therefore what he is doing is crazy.
No man of genuine reason will do what he is doing which is what ordinary people do.
HE IS FOCUSSING AND PROJECTING HIS FORCE TO EXPRESS DISLIKE THAT WASTES ENERGY, TIRES, STRESSES, DISTRACTS AND MAKES RESTLESS HIMSELF AND ONLY A FOOL OR SOMEONE CRAZY WILL DO THAT.
THE PURPOSE OF HIS STIRRING AND EXPRESSING MENTAL FORCE IS TO INTIMIDATE OTHERS.
You don’t need to do this:
You need force to stir force:
You need force to stir force and true reason has no force that can stir force, nor can it be stirred by force because true reason has no force that can be stirred by force.
THUS THE ONLY PURPOSE OF THE CONSTANT FORCE CHANGES (PROLONGING, SPEED AND STRENGTH CHANGES) IN THE SPEECH AND ACTIONS OF EMOTIONAL PEOPLE IS TO STIR THE MENTAL FORCES OF OTHERS, WITHOUT THESE FORCE CHANGES IN A PERSON’S SPEECH AND ACTIONS OTHERS CANNOT BE STIRRED.
THUS ANYONE WHO RADIATES FORCE CHANGES IN WHATEVER HE SAYS OR DOES IS GUILTY OF STIRRING FORCE IN OTHERS AND BECAUSE FORCE IS BLIND AND HARMFUL, YOU HAVE DEBT IF YOU STIR OTHERS’ MENTAL FORCE OR THERE IS OBJECTIVELY FORCE PROLONGING, CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS IN YOUR SPEECH. WHETHER YOU CARE OR NOT, CAN SEE OR NOT, IF YOU HAVE STYLE YOU MUST BE SUFFERING NOW AND HEADED FOR ESCALATING SUFFERING IN THE FUTURE.
Hedge funds worry Obama moves may backfire:
Why should Hedge funds worry that Obama moves could backfire except they are greedy for gains and fearful of losses? Greed and fear are emotions or proxies of force so their actions that can only be to sell and run or buy and stay are based on force not reason and it is a recipe for certain disaster one day.
Hedge funds are very powerful because of money greedy wealthy investors put in them and because they are market movers, they act as catalysts that the herd instinct (again driven by force not reason) magnifies their effects.
THUS ALL THESE POWERFUL HEDGE FUNDS EMPOWERED BY ALL THESE VERY RICH PEOPLE WANTING TO MAXIMIZE THEIR RETURNS ARE DRIVEN BY FORCE (GREED AND FEAR) NOT REASON TO MAKE BETS ON THE MARKETS THAT CAN BE INIMICAL TO THE ECONOMY. WHAT IS GOOD FOR THESE FUNDS IS NOT NECESSARILY GOOD FOR SOCIETY AND RATHER THAN WE ARE TOO SOPHISTICATED TO CRASH LIKE THE 1930S, THE GREED AND FEAR TODAY ORCHESTRATED BY SUCH POWERFUL HEDGE FUNDS DRIVEN BY PROGRAMMED LOGIC ALLIED WITH GREED AND FEAR MAY BE A RECIPE FOR THERMONUCLEAR FINANCIAL DISASTER THAT MAY BE WORSE THAN IN 1930.
You must be born again to go to heaven:
Jesus: "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. What Jesus said above is that unless one is born again, one cannot go to heaven and the being born again he refers to is not one of the flesh but of water and the spirit, water in the sense that the person must be washed off his past sins and spirit because although it exists it is invisible just as the wind can be felt but cannot be seen.
Thus as he is, a man cannot go to heaven, what is required is a revolutionary or complete remake not in the sense of being physically reborn in flesh but to be washed of one’s previous sins and reborn of the Spirit that like air or wind is invisible but palpable.
THEREFORE IT WILL NOT TAKE JUST GOOD DEEDS FROM A BEING WHO REMAINS BASICALLY THE SAME TO GO TO HEAVEN BUT IT WOULD TAKE A TOTAL REMAKE OR TRANSFORMATION OF HIS BEING TO GO TO HEAVEN AND IF ONE WAS TO BE REMADE FROM A STRESSED, EMOTIONAL STYLISH MAN CONSTANTLY STRETCHING SYLLABLES, CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS IN SPEECH THAT HAVE EQUIVALENTS NOT JUST IN MOTION BUT EVEN IN THOUGHT AND PERCEPTION TO ONE WHO DOES NOT USE FORCE, DOES NOT PROLONG, CHANGE SPEED AND STRENGTH OF FORCE THAT WOULD TRULY BE A TOTAL TRANSFORMATION OF SPIRIT OR MIND OF THAT PERSON.

Rich people (eg developers who made lots of money from buyers who borrowed money people saved in banks) who have gained their immense wealth through unrighteous means are not content to keep their money in the banks as in the past but in their haste and insatiable thirst to make more they invest in hedge funds that are like marauders or sharks trawling the financial markets for killings to be made by whatever means so long as they can get away with prosecution.
Thus they (hedge funds, investment banks, even major banks) take up positions in the oil market where previous US regulations forbade them and by their sheer financial strength competing with genuine consumers, they push up prices for their unrighteous gain at the expense of the masses.
HOW TO MAKE SENSE OF TODAY’S FINANCIAL STATE?
A LOT OF THE WEALTH IS ILLUSORY, VIRTUAL, NON EXISTENT, BASED ON THE HIGHLY INFLATED VALUATION OF ASSETS LIKE PROPERTY, SHARES AND COMMODITIES (OIL, GOLD).
OF THE GENUINE PHYSICAL WEALTH IN THE SYSTEM, THERE HAS BEEN A MASSIVE TRANSFER THROUGH RECKLESS LENDING BY BANKS OF WEALTH FROM SAVERS TO A FEW PRIVILEDGED INDIVIDUALS (DEVELOPERS, SELLERS OF SHARES, CELEBRITIES LIKE SPORTSMEN, SINGERS, ACTORS, CEOS) SUCH THAT THE MONEY OF SAVERS IN BANKS ARE BASICALLY LOST AND THESE FEW RECIPIENTS CANNOT SPEND ENOUGH TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY AND THEY IN ADDITION PREFER NOT TO PUT MONEY IN BANKS BUT TO INVEST IN HEDGE FUNDS THAT GO AROUND PLUNDERING THE SYSTEM TO WREST MORE MONEY FROM THE MANY TO THE FEW WHO ARE ALREADY TOO RICH.
Using force to solve problems:
Faced with a problem that they need to think, people even those who think they are very intelligent summon up force to think their way out.
THUS IT MAY BE THAT ALTHOUGH IT IS PARTLY TO EXPRESS ANNOYANCE, WHAT OBAMA IS DOING MAY BE SCREWING UP HIS FACE THAT REFLECTS A RAISING OF HIS MENTAL FORCE TO THINK THROUGH A PROBLEM THAT HAS CONFRONTED HIM.
IT IS TOTALLY MAD TO STIR FORCE THAT IS BLIND IN REACTION TO THE ARISING OF A PROBLEM OR OBSTACLE BECAUSE THE SANE RESPONSE IS TO USE GENUINE REASON TO SEE THE PROBLEM CLEARLY AND SEE IF ANY SOLUTIONS ARE AVAILABLE.
NO FORCE IS REQUIRED OR INVOLVED FOR GENUINE CALM CLEAR REASON TO SEE THE PROBLEM AND SEE IF THERE ARE ANY POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS.
THAT ANYONE WOULD STIR HIS MENTAL FORCE WHEN CONFRONTED BY A PROBLEM IS EVIDENCE OF BIZARRE OR CRAZY BEHAVIOR THAT THE PERSON IS TOTALLY UNAWARE AND EVEN PERCEIVE AS NATURAL.
YOU DON’T SCREW UP YOUR MIND OR STIR FORCE TO RESOLVE A PROBLEM, YOU CALMLY CLEARLY SEE THE PROBLEM IN ITS ENTIRETY AND SEE IF THERE ARE ANY SOLUTIONS WITHOUT STIRRING YOUR MIND.
MANY PEOPLE DO NOT REALIZE THEY CRAZILY USE FORCE TO SOLVE PROBLEMS INSTEAD OF USING GENUINE REASON (WHICH THEY DO NOT HAVE). THE REASON THEY USE FORCE IS BECAUSE THEY ARE STRUGGLING TO TAKE SNAPSHOTS OF THE PROBLEM AND THEN STRUGGLING TO LOCATE ANY PRE-RECORDED ANSWERS IN THEIR MENTAL JUKEBOXES.
Unusual lack of support for independents:
NORMALLY YOU WILL EXPECT SOME BN VOTES TO GO TO INDEPENDENTS IN THE ABSENCE OF A BN CANDIDATE AND FEW IF ANY WILL GO TO ITS SWORN ENEMY PKR AND SO THE DEARTH OF VOTER SUPPORT FOR INDEPENDENTS IS AN INDICATION THAT BN’S TRUE SUPPORT IS MUCH LESS. WITHOUT BN SHENANIGANS (VOTE BUYING, STUFFING BALLOT BOXES, ETC), THERE ARE FEW GENUINE VOTES FOR BN.

None of the independent candidates at Penanti gathered enough votes to save their deposits and so PKR would be crazy or overanxious about losing to waste their money bribing independents not to contest so that they do not lose their deposits.
Normally you would expect some of BN’s votes to go to independents in the absence of their candidate and so the paucity of support for the independents suggests that either BN voters joined their party to boycott the election or genuine support for BN may be much less, without official BN participation and cheating, PKR has won even much better.
True logic:
It is true logic to conclude that the lack of support for the independent candidates in Penanti is an indication of the electoral fraud perpetrated by the ruling BN.
It may be that some diehard BN voters will follow their party to boycott the election especially if they do not have any inducements to go to the poll (bribes paid by BN) but you would expect some BN voters to turn out and these will surely go to the independents than PKR and therefore the lack of support for the independents is a reflection of the scale of underhand tactics employed by BN when it participates and most BN voters are mercenaries, without monetary inducements, they can’t be bothered to vote.
THE UNDISCERNING PERSON SEES THE RESULTS BUT DOES NOT KNOW WHAT TO CONCLUDE OR CONCLUDE FALSELY OTHERWISE WHAT I CONCLUDED THAT THE LACK OF SUPPORT FOR THE INDEPENDENTS IN THE ABSENCE OF BN’S PARTICIPATION IS AN INDICATION OF THE TRUE LACK OF STRENGTH IN BN SUPPORT AND THEIR SUPPORT MAY BE DUE TO MONETARY INDUCEMENT. WITHOUT BN PARTICIPATION AND PAYING THEM LARGE OR SMALL MONETARY INDUCEMENTS TO VOTE, THEY CAN’T BE BOTHERED TURNING UP. NO MONEY NO VOTE, NOT BECAUSE OF IDEALS DO BN VOTERS VOTE.

THUS THE PERSON DOES NOT REALIZE HE HAS FALSE PERCEPTION AND IS HEADED FOR INSANITY. SO LONG AS THINGS MUST BE BORING AND EXCITING TO YOU, SO LONG MUST YOU SUFFER. LOOK AT ANIMALS, THEY TOO CAN BE BORED AND EXCITED AND SO IF YOU LIKE TO EXIST THIS WAY, YOU MAY BE HEADED FOR THE ANIMAL WORLD.
No wonder Reagan became mad:
Reagan may have become a human vegetable during the later years of his life wherein he could not remember even his close ones not without reason or blamelessly, for Reagan may have serious karma, very much responsible for the financial troubles the world has come to be beset.
Reagan Did It

“This bill is the most important legislation for financial institutions in the last 50 years. It provides a long-term solution for troubled thrift institutions. ... All in all, I think we hit the jackpot.” So declared Ronald Reagan in 1982, as he signed the Garn-St. Germain Depository Institutions Act.
He was, as it happened, wrong about solving the problems of the thrifts. On the contrary, the bill turned the modest-sized troubles of savings-and-loan institutions into an utter catastrophe. But he was right about the legislation’s significance. And as for that jackpot — well, it finally came more than 25 years later, in the form of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.
For the more one looks into the origins of the current disaster, the clearer it becomes that the key wrong turn — the turn that made crisis inevitable — took place in the early 1980s, during the Reagan years.
Attacks on Reaganomics usually focus on rising inequality and fiscal irresponsibility. Indeed, Reagan ushered in an era in which a small minority grew vastly rich, while working families saw only meager gains. He also broke with longstanding rules of fiscal prudence.
On the latter point: traditionally, the U.S. government ran significant budget deficits only in times of war or economic emergency. Federal debt as a percentage of G.D.P. fell steadily from the end of World War II until 1980. But indebtedness began rising under Reagan; it fell again in the Clinton years, but resumed its rise under the Bush administration, leaving us ill prepared for the emergency now upon us.
The increase in public debt was, however, dwarfed by the rise in private debt, made possible by financial deregulation. The change in America’s financial rules was Reagan’s biggest legacy. And it’s the gift that keeps on taking.
The immediate effect of Garn-St. Germain, as I said, was to turn the thrifts from a problem into a catastrophe. The S.& L. crisis has been written out of the Reagan hagiography, but the fact is that deregulation in effect gave the industry — whose deposits were federally insured — a license to gamble with taxpayers’ money, at best, or simply to loot it, at worst. By the time the government closed the books on the affair, taxpayers had lost $130 billion, back when that was a lot of money.
But there was also a longer-term effect. Reagan-era legislative changes essentially ended New Deal restrictions on mortgage lending — restrictions that, in particular, limited the ability of families to buy homes without putting a significant amount of money down.
These restrictions were put in place in the 1930s by political leaders who had just experienced a terrible financial crisis, and were trying to prevent another. But by 1980 the memory of the Depression had faded. Government, declared Reagan, is the problem, not the solution; the magic of the marketplace must be set free. And so the precautionary rules were scrapped.
Together with looser lending standards for other kinds of consumer credit, this led to a radical change in American behavior.
We weren’t always a nation of big debts and low savings: in the 1970s Americans saved almost 10 percent of their income, slightly more than in the 1960s. It was only after the Reagan deregulation that thrift gradually disappeared from the American way of life, culminating in the near-zero savings rate that prevailed on the eve of the great crisis. Household debt was only 60 percent of income when Reagan took office, about the same as it was during the Kennedy administration. By 2007 it was up to 119 percent.
All this, we were assured, was a good thing: sure, Americans were piling up debt, and they weren’t putting aside any of their income, but their finances looked fine once you took into account the rising values of their houses and their stock portfolios. Oops.
Now, the proximate causes of today’s economic crisis lie in events that took place long after Reagan left office — in the global savings glut created by surpluses in China and elsewhere, and in the giant housing bubble that savings glut helped inflate.
But it was the explosion of debt over the previous quarter-century that made the U.S. economy so vulnerable. Overstretched borrowers were bound to start defaulting in large numbers once the housing bubble burst and unemployment began to rise.
These defaults in turn wreaked havoc with a financial system that — also mainly thanks to Reagan-era deregulation — took on too much risk with too little capital.
There’s plenty of blame to go around these days. But the prime villains behind the mess we’re in were Reagan and his circle of advisers — men who forgot the lessons of America’s last great financial crisis, and condemned the rest of us to repeat it.

Where do hedge funds make their money from?
Most people do not care nor do they understand but where do these hedge funds that are a fairly recent phenomenon make their money from?
Money does not fall from the skies or grow on trees so the ‘fabulous returns’ that entice the rich to these hedge funds (who cater only to the very rich) must come from the system and that means ordinary people. Hedge funds are large pools of money augmented by margin finance (borrowed from banks) that trawl the world looking for whatever ways to make a quick buck, even the currency itself because a source of money making. In order to do so, they need to destabilize the system because they thrive on price changes. If these changes do not occur naturally, they create it by eg shorting shares.
HEDGE FUNDS AND TRADING DESKS OF MAJOR BANKS ARE LIKE CANCERS THAT HAVE SPREAD AND THREATEN TO DESTROY THE SYSTEM.
Global savings glut?

This global savings glut may never have been there. China’s surpluses are stashed as USD in the US that have been squandered off lending for a property bubble and consumption and the giant housing bubble is paper gains that have vanished like mist with the dawn with the collapse of the property market.
THUS ECONOMISTS MAY BE FOOLS TALKING ABOUT A MIRAGE WHEN THEY SPOKE OF A GLOBAL SAVINGS GLUT.

What Is Nervousness?
There are people who are nervous and people who are not or at least they do not overtly show signs of nervousness.
Nervousness is usually specific to certain situations (eg social events or heights) in the beginning but because it is conditioning with time it becomes more widespread, intense, easy to arouse and hard to shake off.
Nervousness is an emotional state of the mind that is a compound of agitation (mental force stirring erratically) and fear.
Usually or at least in the beginning, nervousness is a specific reaction to a certain situation eg meeting people or when in close proximity with the opposite sex but because it is conditioning and transferrable, each time the situation arise eg close proximity to opposite sex, the person conditions himself more and more intensely to become agitated and fearful so that his nervousness arises with increasing ease to more intense levels that get harder to shake off and the person becomes troubled, his life may become a nightmare because of fear of making a fool of himself or others thinking he is abnormal.
Further nervousness which has memory is transferrable to other situations that in the past did not trigger nervousness and so the nervous person dreads he is going mad, more and more things make him nervous to more intense levels.

It is reported that new vehicle sales reached a 2009 high.
Without government fiscal measures to boost purchases eg rebates for scraping old cars the new sales may be much lower.
ALL ALONG IT IS NOT FREE MARKET EXCEPT IN THE FALSE PERCEPTION OF PEOPLE.
WHEN THE ECONOMY IS SLOWING, GOVERNMENTS CUT INTEREST RATES AND BOOST MONEY SUPPLY TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO BUY, THEY TAKE VARIOUS MEASURES THAT WILL ENCOURAGE MORE CONSUMPTION THAN WOULD HAVE BEEN WITHOUT THESE MEASURES.
THUS FREE MARKETS IS A MYTH, ALL ALONG IT IS A MANIPULATED MARKET TO KEEP STOKING SPENDING UNTIL EVERYTHING COLLAPSES.
FREE MARKET MEANS IF DEMAND FOR NEW CAR COLLAPSES, YOU DO NOTHING BUT ALLOW THE FREE MARKET TO FIND ITS FEET.

Geitner reassures China on dollar holdings:
You would expect him to assure China rather than anything else otherwise US would be bringing on trouble even catastrophe if China panicked and sold off its holdings and therefore whatever reassurances may not be worth the paper it is written on, so why seek it?
It is a waste of time and energy for China to seek US assurances on its dollar assets and it is a waste of time and energy for the US to reassure China.
If the US was trustworthy, had shown financial fidelity, the current serious even catastrophic crisis would not have come to pass and if this crisis has come to pass, it shows the US is not trustworthy and so whatever reassurances it makes has vested motives to stave off alarm by China otherwise the US will be in even hotter water.
SEEKING AND GIVING REASSURANCE IS AN EXERCISE IN ABSURDITY, ALL FOR SHOW BECAUSE IT IS TO BE EXPECTED THE US WOULD REASSURE OTHERWISE IT WOULD BE IN EVEN HOTTER WATER.
