The purpose of Obama saying “The west still leads the world” is emotional, to bond himself and the US with its western allies (Europe, UK) on the occasion of his visit. It is to stir pride in himself and others and reaffirm a common bond because dominance is valued by goats.
IT IS PRIDE AND A NEED TO BOAST, FEND OFF UPSTARTS AND A NEED TO BOND WITH HIS COUNTERPARTS THAT DRIVES HIM BLINDLY AND FOOLISHLY TO SAY THIS THAT HE MAY NOT REALIZE WILL AROUSE RESENTMENT IN THOSE WHO ARE NOT THE WEST, IT IS PROVOCATIVE AND YOU CANNOT DENY IT AND CLAIM THOSE PROVOKED ARE OVERSENSITIVE.
THE STATEMENT IS TOTALLY UNNECESSARY AND PROVOCATIVE AND SO HE IS HEAPING KARMA AND FUTURE SUFFERING BY SAYING SOMETHING FOOLISH AND TOTALLY UNNECESSARY.
Listeners must either agree or disagree:
When you say the west still leads the world, you are stating something that others must agree either in subservience or they must disagree, find issue and if they disagree, they are provoked and so his statement always provokes, whether he likes it or not and whoever provokes is asking for suffering.
Divisive speech:
What does it matter if the west still leads the world or not? What matters is how good or benevolent it is.
The Buddha said that divisive speech can send you even to hell and saying the west still leads the world has the result of dividing the world between the west who leads and the rest that are led. If it is not marvellous leading the world, why does Obama harp on it? If you like to be top dog leading the world, what makes you think others like to be your underdog?
THE BUDDHA SAID YOU MUST BE SKILLFUL IF YOU WANT TO ESCAPE SUFFERING. IT IS UNSKILLFUL TO SPEAK DIVISIVELY THAT LEADS TO FUTURE SUFFERING.
EVEN IF SOMETHING IS TRUE, IF IT SERVES NO PURPOSE OR DOES NOT BENEFIT OTHERS, THE BUDDHA WILL NOT SAY IT AND SO EVEN IF IT IS TRUE THE WEST STILL LEADS THE WORLD, IF IT SERVES NO PURPOSE SAYING IT OR IT TENDS TO PROVOKE OTHERS, YOU WILL BE WISE TO SHUT UP. YOU ARE SAYING SO ONLY TO BEAT YOUR OWN DRUM OR BOAST.
Obama is boasting:
Obama’s statement, ‘the west still leads the world’ is essentially a boast, there is no disputing because it serves no useful purpose except to stir emotions to be proud and identify with yourself as the west and to exalt yourself.
YOU NEVER BOAST YOUR WAY TO HEAVEN BUT YOU ARE LUCKY IF YOU ESCAPE HELL WITH YOUR BOAST. WHETHER WHAT HE SAID IS A BOAST OR NOT IS OBJECTIVE CANNOT BE DENIED AND WHOEVER BOASTS IS PRESENTING HIS NECK ON THE CHOPPING BOARD OF ETERNITY.
Japan and China is not the west:
China and Japan’s economies are numbers two and three in the world and together with Taiwan, Korea they wield sizeable economic clout. In certain areas Japanese technology matches even surpasses American. Apparently cruise missiles need guidance systems that use Japanese technology. Similarly if the Arabs were to withdraw their money stashed in US treasury, the US economy would go into a tailspin and so it is totally unnecessary boasting about the west leading the world.
What is a boast?
Even if something said is true or a fact, if there is no useful purpose for saying it and it is said to exalt or beat your own drum or the drums of objects and others that you identify with, it is a boast.
Thus the Buddha is not boasting when he says he alone is sambuddha, he sees no one in the cosmos who is his equal, he is perfect in every way because what he said is true and it has to be said so that others can know that it is possible for one being to be superior even supremely superior from others, it was not intended to boast or beat his own drum but a matter of fact statement. The Buddha said if he were to treat another as equal or look up to another his head will split because to do so would be to commit a falsity and it is impossible for him to commit a falsity.
EVEN IF WHAT YOU SAY IS A FACT, IF THE PURPOSE OF SAYING IT IS TO EXALT YOURSELF, TO BEAT YOUR OWN DRUM OR THE DRUMS OF THOSE YOU IDENTIFY WITH, YOU ARE BOASTING. ALL BOASTING IS CONTROLLED INSANITY, SENSELESS THAT ENDS IN INSANITY. IT IS INSANITY TO SPEAK TO BOOST ONE’S EGO AND SO ANYONE WHO BOASTS IS HEAPING FUTURE SUFFERING ON HIMSELF.

The attraction (never reason) of the statement is its nonsensicality that fascinates those who are wedded to falsity and delusion.
Unable to understand the statement and their curiosity or mental force stirred people are moved to read the article to find out what it is about when you do not need to read to understand it is false and evil.
This is an evil or false statement for two reasons.
She is courting insanity speaking thus and will get it.

Society (brutally) inculcates values and snobbery in its denizens and the person who has values, who looks down or up on selected people (doctors, lawyers are respected, labourers are looked down upon) and objects (Mercedes equals wow, Proton equals ‘yukk’), prejudices and likes and dislikes are robots, values are recorded or programmed ways of viewing people and objects that are rehashed and the person is a robot whose mental programs or values tell him how to perceive things and rather than a pleasure, it is tormenting to have values.

I solved problem even Dell could not:
Since my purchase of a new Dell desktop it was bedevilled by repeated freezing up when I suddenly clicked on something in the browser or Live Mail and I had to turn off the power and restart the computer. I contacted Dell and they told me it was incompatible Windows updates or something and said that I should re-format the computer to factory condition, which I did but to no avail because the problem persisted.
MUCH EFFORT AND DIFFICULTIES WERE EXPERIENCED TO FOLLOW DELL’S EXPERT ADVICE BUT IT DID NOT WORK AND SO THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TACKLE THE PROBLEM.
Recently I noticed periodic error messages that said my K-World TV tuner has stopped working and I wondered if that was the culprit.
Although the USB TV card was designed for Windows 7, I decided to download the driver from the internet and I found the internet driver was newer and different sized.
I re-installed the K-World driver and since then there has not been any more of the troubling sudden freezing when I may lose unsaved data and had to reboot.
IN MY CONTACTS WITH MANY SERVICE ASSISTANTS (TELEKOM, CELCOM, ETC) I FIND THAT THEY DO NOT REALLY UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEMS I STATE TO THEM, THEY ARE REHASHING STANDARD SOLUTIONS THAT DO NOT WORK IN A HIT AND (MORE) MISS FASHION. SURELY WINDOWS 7 WOULD HAVE A LOG OF THOSE INCIDENTS TELLING THE TECHNICIAN WHAT WENT WRONG? IN THIS SOPHISTICATED AGE NOBODY COULD ASSIST ME IN THE WOE AFFLICTING MY COMPUTER AND I HAD TO WORK OUT MYSELF WHAT WAS WRONG AND FIXED IT. I WASTED MUCH TIME AND EFFORT AND EXPENSES RE-FORMATTING THE COMPUTER AS INSTRUCTED. IF ONLY I KNEW THEN I WOULD HAVE DISMISSED IT.

The hype about Android Honeycomb:
If you listened to all the so called experts, the Android honeycomb is fantastic and Windows 7 for tablets is shit but my experience is quite different, the Android tablet is quite crude to use, I have many complaints about it and I certainly would not rave about it.
THESE REVIEWERS WHO RAVE OVER THE ANDROID HONEYCOMB MUST BE MAD, AFTER USING IT, I HAVE MANY RESERVATIONS ABOUT IT BEING UNREFINED AND IT IS CERTAINLY NO WALK OVER COMPARED TO WINDOWS 7 WHICH HAS ITS MERITS.

Having used Google products like Gmail, Chrome browser, Google earth and Android, I would say they are quirky, sometimes baffling or irrational to use, their logic differs from mine. Windows too have its follies.

My eyesight keeps improving with age:
My eyesight keeps improving with age contrary to the usual trend.
Today I tested seeing my desktop screen with and without glasses and it is clearly better without spectacles for my right eye although it was better with glasses for my left.
Years ago when I changed my spectacles, my optician told me my eyesight has improved.
Years ago I noticed I had difficulty reading small print which had to be held further away to be read (with age the lens are supposed to be less flexible and cannot accommodate to focus for near objects. Now I can see small prints clearly.
I CLEARLY REMEMBERED YEARS AGO I HAD DIFFICULTY READING SMALL PRINT WHICH NEEDED TO BE HELD FURTHER, NOW I HAVE NO TROUBLE READING SMALL PRINT HELD VERY CLOSE, JUST ON A CURSORY COMPARISON I SEE DISTANCE CLEARLY BETTER WITHOUT GLASSES THAN WITH GLASSES, MY GLASSES MAY BE HINDERING MY VISION.
I BELIEVE IT IS BECAUSE MY MIND IS GETTING STEADIER AND STEADIER, CALMER AND CALMER, CLEARLY SEEING AND CLEARLY SEEING AND THIS IS REFLECTED IN MY EYESIGHT WHICH CONTRARY TO EXPECTATION IS IMPROVING WITH AGE. (MY MEMORY TOO IS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER NOT FAILING, I AM LESS FORGETFUL NOWADAYS.)

The Buddha did not die, he passed away:
It may be impossible for anyone to take the life of a Buddha nor did he die but he passed away.
It is said an enlightened monk sat cross legged burst into flames and passed away, another monk passed away and crumpled into a pile of dust.
It is not blameless nature or science that causes a person to be blind or crippled but it is sin, karma both in past lives and this life that causes all his suffering including cancer or whatever ailments.
AS THE BUDDHA TAUGHT, ALL A BEING’S SUFFERING IS DETERMINED BY HIS KARMA, BY WHAT HE HAS UNSKILLFULLY SAID AND DONE THAT RENDERS HIM LIABLE FOR REPAYMENT IN SUFFERING, BEHAVE WISELY OR SKILLFULLY AND AVOID HORRENDOUS FUTURE SUFFERING.
AS JESUS SAID, ALL YOUR SINS WILL BE FORGIVEN, BUT ONLY IF YOU WASH YOURSELF OFF SIN THENCEFORTH.
The Buddha passed away by ascending to the highest states of the mind, descending from the highest states to the lower states and then back up again to pass away. No one could move the Buddha’s body until the wishes of the deities were fulfilled.
1. Now the Blessed One spoke to the Venerable Ananda, saying: "It may be, Ananda, that to some among you the thought will come: 'Ended is the word of the Master; we have a Master no longer.' But it should not. For that which I have proclaimed as the Dhamma and the Discipline, that shall be your Master when I am gone.
5. Then the Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus, saying: "It may be, bhikkhus, that one of you is in doubt. Then question, bhikkhus! Do not be given to remorse later: 'The Master was with us face to face, yet we failed to ask him.'"
6. But when this was said, the bhikkhus were silent. And yet a second and a third time the Blessed One said to them:
And for a second and a third time the bhikkhus were silent. Then the Blessed One said to them: "It may be, bhikkhus, out of respect for the Master that you ask no questions. Then, bhikkhus, let friend communicate it to friend." Yet still the bhikkhus were silent.
" But here, Ananda, the Tathagata knows for certain that there is not even one bhikkhu who is in doubt as to the Buddha, the Dhamma, or the Sangha, the path or the practice. For, Ananda, among these five hundred bhikkhus even the lowest is a stream-enterer, secure from downfall, assured, and bound for enlightenment."
8. And the Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus, saying: "Behold now, bhikkhus, I exhort you: All compounded things are subject to vanish. Strive with earnestness!"
This was the last word of the Tathagata.
How the Blessed One Passed into Nibbana
9. And the Blessed One entered the first jhana. Rising from the first jhana, he entered the second jhana. Rising from the second jhana, he entered the third jhana. Rising from the third jhana, he entered the fourth jhana. And rising out of the fourth jhana, he entered the sphere of infinite space. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of infinite space, he entered the sphere of infinite consciousness. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of infinite consciousness, he entered the sphere of nothingness. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of nothingness, he entered the sphere of neither-perception-nor-non-perception. And rising out of the attainment of the sphere of neither-perception-nor-non-perception, he attained to the cessation of perception and feeling.
10. And Ananda spoke to Anuruddha, saying: "Venerable Anuruddha, the Blessed One has passed away."
11. Then the Blessed One, rising from the cessation of perception and feeling, entered the sphere of neither-perception-nor-non-perception. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of neither-perception-nor-non-perception, he entered the sphere of nothingness. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of nothingness, he entered the sphere of infinite consciousness. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of infinite consciousness, he entered the sphere of infinite space. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of infinite space, he entered the fourth jhana. Rising from the fourth jhana, he entered the third jhana. Rising from the third jhana, he entered the second jhana. Rising from the second jhana, he entered the first jhana.
Rising from the first jhana, he entered the second jhana. Rising from the second jhana, he entered the third jhana. Rising from the third jhana, he entered the fourth jhana. And, rising from the fourth jhana, the Blessed One immediately passed away.
The World's Echo
12. And when the Blessed One had passed away, there came a tremendous earthquake, dreadful and astounding, and the thunders rolled across the heavens.
13. And when the Blessed One had passed away, Brahma Sahampati spoke this stanza:
But the bhikkhus who were freed from passion, mindful and clearly comprehending, reflected: "Impermanent are all compounded things. How could this be otherwise?"
19. Now Anuruddha and Ananda spent the rest of the night in talking on the Dhamma. Then Anuruddha spoke to the Ananda, saying: "Go now, to Kusinara, and announce to the Mallas: 'The Blessed One, has passed away. Do now as seems fitting to you.'"
And when they heard, the Mallas were sorely grieved, and some, with their hair all dishevelled, with arms upraised in despair, wept; flinging themselves on the ground.
Homage to the Remains
21. And the Mallas, with the perfumes, the flower-garlands, and the musicians, and with five hundred sets of clothing, went to the Sala Grove. And having approached, they paid homage to the body of the Blessed One with dance, song, music, flower-garlands, and perfume, and erecting canopies and pavilions, they spent the day showing respect, honour, and veneration. And the thought came to them: "Now the day is too far spent for us to cremate the body. Tomorrow we will do it."
And for the second day, and a third, fourth, fifth, and sixth day, they paid homage to the body of the Blessed One.
But on the seventh day the thought came to them: "We have paid homage to the body of the Blessed One; let us now carry the body of the Blessed One southward to the southern part of the town and beyond, and let us there cremate the body of the Blessed One."
And eight Mallas, bathed and wearing new clothes, with the thought: "We will lift up the body of the Blessed One," tried to do so but they could not.
22. Then the Mallas spoke to Anuruddha, saying: "What is the cause, Venerable Anuruddha, that these eight Mallas with the thought: 'We will lift up the body of the Blessed One,' try to do so but cannot?"
"You, Vasetthas, have one purpose, the deities have another."
" The purpose of the deities, Vasetthas, is this: 'We have paid homage to the body of the Blessed One with heavenly dance, song, music, flower-garlands, and perfume, and have shown respect, let us now carry the body of the Blessed One to the northern part of the town; and having carried it through the northern gate, let us go through the centre of the town, and then eastward to the east of the town; and having passed through the east gate, let us carry it to the cetiya of the Mallas, and there let us cremate the body of the Blessed One.'"
23. Thereupon the whole of Kusinara, even to the rubbish heaps, became covered knee-deep in mandarava flowers. And homage was paid to the body of the Blessed One by the deities as well as the Mallas of Kusinara. And they carried the body of the Blessed One to the northern part of the town; through the northern gate, they went through the centre of the town, and then to the east of the town; through the east gate, they carried the body of the Blessed One to the cetiya of the Mallas, and there laid it down.
24. "How should we act, Venerable Ananda, respecting the body of the Tathagata?"
"After the same manner, Vasetthas, as towards the body of a universal monarch."
"The body of a universal monarch, Vasetthas, is first wrapped round with new linen, and then with teased cotton wool. And again it is wrapped round with new linen, and again with teased cotton wool, and so it is done up to five hundred layers of linen and five hundred of cotton wool. When that is done, the body of the universal monarch is placed in an iron oil-vessel, which is enclosed in another iron vessel and a funeral pyre is built of all kinds of perfumed woods, and so the body of the universal monarch is burned. And at a crossroads a stupa is raised for the universal monarch.
25. Then the Mallas gave orders to their men. And the Mallas of Kusinara wrapped the body of the Blessed One round with new linen, then cotton wool. And again it was done up to five hundred layers of linen and cotton wool. They placed the body of the Blessed One in an iron oil-vessel, enclosed in another, and they built a funeral pyre of all kinds of perfumed woods, and upon it they laid the body of the Blessed One.
26. Now at that time the Venerable Maha Kassapa was journeying with a large company of five hundred bhikkhus. And on the way, he sat down at the foot of a tree.
And a certain Ajivaka came by, and he had taken a mandarava flower from Kusinara. And the Venerable Maha Kassapa saw the Ajivaka coming & spoke to him, saying: "Do you know, friend, anything of our Master?"
"Yes, friend, I know. It is now seven days since the ascetic Gotama passed away. "
28. Subhadda, who had renounced only in his old age addressed the bhikkhus, saying: "Enough, friends! Do not grieve,! We are well rid of that great ascetic. Too long, friends, have we been oppressed by his saying. Now we shall be able to do as we wish."
But the Venerable Maha Kassapa addressed the bhikkhus, saying: "Enough friends! Do not grieve, do not lament! For has not the Blessed One declared that with all that is dear and beloved there must be change, separation, and severance?
29. Now at that time four Mallas with the thought: "We will set alight the Blessed One's pyre," tried to do so but they could not. "What is the cause, Venerable Anuruddha, that these four Mallas try to do so but cannot?"
"The purpose of the deities, Vasetthas, is this: 'The Venerable Maha Kassapa is on his way. Let not the Blessed One's pyre be set alight until the Venerable Maha Kassapa has paid homage.'"
30. And the Venerable Maha Kassapa approached the pyre of the Blessed One. And he arranged his upper robe on one shoulder, and with his clasped hands raised in salutation, he walked three times round the pyre, keeping his right side towards the Blessed One's body, and he paid homage at the feet of the Blessed One. And even so did the five hundred bhikkhus.
And when homage had been paid by the Venerable Maha Kassapa and the five hundred bhikkhus, the pyre of the Blessed One burst into flame by itself.
31. No ashes or particles were to be seen of what had been skin, tissue, flesh; only bones remained. And of the five hundred linen wrappings, only two were not consumed, the innermost and the outermost.
32. And when the body of the Blessed One had been burned, water rained down from heaven and extinguished the pyre of the Blessed One.
And the Mallas laid the relics of the Blessed One in their council hall, and surrounded them with a lattice-work of spears and encircled them with a fence of bows; and there for seven days they paid homage to the relics of the Blessed One.

I think it was said by some officials to justify raising electricity tariff because gas prices are soaring. Who is the person who will not stop?
The man who stretches all his syllables, changes speed and loudness is the man who will not stop and he always suffers terribly here.
The man who does not stretch all his syllables, does not change speed and loudness is the man who stops and always suffers less and is therefore far happier here.
The person who speaks and does is the man who does not stop and that is always suffering. Therefore do not congratulate yourself for being hardworking because that is the way to suffering. Those who are lazy too will suffer because when they laze they are not stopping but using their mental force to prolong which is an essential component of lingering or lazing.
The person who does not speak and do is the man who has stopped and that is always release from suffering, he only speaks and does what is essential, relevant to the occasion.
The person who thinks is the man who does not stop, the person who has stopped thinking, is without thought when fully conscious is the man who has stopped.
The person who stirs his mental force to be attracted or like, stirs his mental force repulsively to dislike is the man who does not stop, the person who has stopped liking and disliking is the man who has stopped and he is released from suffering.
The person who feels pain and pleasure, who seeks pain and pleasure is the man who has not stopped, the person who does not feel pain and pleasure, does not seek them is the man who has stopped and suffers much less.
THE REASON THE PERSON WHO DOES NOT STOP SUFFERS IS BECAUSE HE MUST USE FORCE OR EXPOSE HIS MIND TO PAINFUL EVIL FORCE IN ORDER TO SPEAK OR DO, IN ORDER TO STRETCH SYLLABLES, CHANGE SPEED OR LOUDNESS, IN ORDER TO THINK, LIKE AND DISLIKE OR FEEL PAIN OR PLEASURE.

Care abuse can be extreme, moderate or mild, never shocking, never stirring a person’s mental force violently to be shocked.

The Buddha said that divisive speech can send you even to hell and saying the west still leads the world has the result of dividing the world between the west who leads and the rest that are led. China and Japan’s economies are numbers two and three in the world and together with Taiwan, Korea they wield sizeable economic clout. Similarly if the Arabs were to withdraw their money stashed in US treasury, the US economy would go into a tailspin and so it is totally unnecessary boasting about the west leading the world.
What is a boast?
Even if something said is true or a fact, if there is no useful purpose for saying it and it is said to exalt or beat your own drum or the drums of objects and others that you identify with, it is a boast.
Thus the Buddha is not boasting when he says he alone is sambuddha, he sees no one in the cosmos who is his equal, he is perfect in every way because what he said is true and it has to be said so that others can know that it is possible for one being to be superior even supremely superior from others, it was not intended to boast or beat his own drum but a matter of fact statement. The Buddha said if he were to treat another as equal or look up to another his head will split because to do so would be to commit a falsity and it is impossible for him to commit a falsity.
EVEN IF WHAT YOU SAY IS A FACT, IF THE PURPOSE OF SAYING IT IS TO EXALT YOURSELF, TO BEAT YOUR OWN DRUM OR THE DRUMS OF THOSE YOU IDENTIFY WITH, YOU ARE BOASTING. ALL BOASTING IS CONTROLLED INSANITY, SENSELESS THAT ENDS IN INSANITY. IT IS INSANITY TO SPEAK TO BOOST ONE’S EGO AND SO ANYONE WHO BOASTS IS HEAPING FUTURE SUFFERING ON HIMSELF.

The attraction (never reason) of the statement is its nonsensicality that fascinates those who are wedded to falsity and delusion.
Unable to understand the statement and their curiosity or mental force stirred people are moved to read the article to find out what it is about when you do not need to read to understand it is false and evil.
This is an evil or false statement for two reasons.
- Being is a stranger is not something anyone can choose to be or not to be and so it is false, mischievous to tell others ‘don’t be a stranger’ as if it is within the capability of a person to either be or not be a stranger.
- ‘Don’t be a stranger’ is an indiscriminate generalisation; a rule. The person of true understanding treats everything on a case by case basis, he does not formulate sweeping generalizations to be recorded and applied ‘don’t be a stranger’ without considering the circumstances. Because this is a rule the person has faith in rules and rituals that is one of three lower fetters (doubt and uncertainty and self identity views) that the Buddha said is the path to future woe.

I solved problem even Dell could not:
Since my purchase of a new Dell desktop it was bedevilled by repeated freezing up when I suddenly clicked on something in the browser or Live Mail and I had to turn off the power and restart the computer. I contacted Dell and they told me it was incompatible Windows updates or something and said that I should re-format the computer to factory condition, which I did but to no avail because the problem persisted.
MUCH EFFORT AND DIFFICULTIES WERE EXPERIENCED TO FOLLOW DELL’S EXPERT ADVICE BUT IT DID NOT WORK AND SO THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TACKLE THE PROBLEM.
Recently I noticed periodic error messages that said my K-World TV tuner has stopped working and I wondered if that was the culprit.
Although the USB TV card was designed for Windows 7, I decided to download the driver from the internet and I found the internet driver was newer and different sized.
I re-installed the K-World driver and since then there has not been any more of the troubling sudden freezing when I may lose unsaved data and had to reboot.
IN MY CONTACTS WITH MANY SERVICE ASSISTANTS (TELEKOM, CELCOM, ETC) I FIND THAT THEY DO NOT REALLY UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEMS I STATE TO THEM, THEY ARE REHASHING STANDARD SOLUTIONS THAT DO NOT WORK IN A HIT AND (MORE) MISS FASHION. SURELY WINDOWS 7 WOULD HAVE A LOG OF THOSE INCIDENTS TELLING THE TECHNICIAN WHAT WENT WRONG? IN THIS SOPHISTICATED AGE NOBODY COULD ASSIST ME IN THE WOE AFFLICTING MY COMPUTER AND I HAD TO WORK OUT MYSELF WHAT WAS WRONG AND FIXED IT. I WASTED MUCH TIME AND EFFORT AND EXPENSES RE-FORMATTING THE COMPUTER AS INSTRUCTED. IF ONLY I KNEW THEN I WOULD HAVE DISMISSED IT.

If you listened to all the so called experts, the Android honeycomb is fantastic and Windows 7 for tablets is shit but my experience is quite different, the Android tablet is quite crude to use, I have many complaints about it and I certainly would not rave about it.

My eyesight keeps improving with age:
My eyesight keeps improving with age contrary to the usual trend.
Today I tested seeing my desktop screen with and without glasses and it is clearly better without spectacles for my right eye although it was better with glasses for my left.
Years ago when I changed my spectacles, my optician told me my eyesight has improved.
Years ago I noticed I had difficulty reading small print which had to be held further away to be read (with age the lens are supposed to be less flexible and cannot accommodate to focus for near objects. Now I can see small prints clearly.
I CLEARLY REMEMBERED YEARS AGO I HAD DIFFICULTY READING SMALL PRINT WHICH NEEDED TO BE HELD FURTHER, NOW I HAVE NO TROUBLE READING SMALL PRINT HELD VERY CLOSE, JUST ON A CURSORY COMPARISON I SEE DISTANCE CLEARLY BETTER WITHOUT GLASSES THAN WITH GLASSES, MY GLASSES MAY BE HINDERING MY VISION.
I BELIEVE IT IS BECAUSE MY MIND IS GETTING STEADIER AND STEADIER, CALMER AND CALMER, CLEARLY SEEING AND CLEARLY SEEING AND THIS IS REFLECTED IN MY EYESIGHT WHICH CONTRARY TO EXPECTATION IS IMPROVING WITH AGE. (MY MEMORY TOO IS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER NOT FAILING, I AM LESS FORGETFUL NOWADAYS.)

The Buddha did not die, he passed away:
It may be impossible for anyone to take the life of a Buddha nor did he die but he passed away.
It is said an enlightened monk sat cross legged burst into flames and passed away, another monk passed away and crumpled into a pile of dust.
It is not blameless nature or science that causes a person to be blind or crippled but it is sin, karma both in past lives and this life that causes all his suffering including cancer or whatever ailments.
AS THE BUDDHA TAUGHT, ALL A BEING’S SUFFERING IS DETERMINED BY HIS KARMA, BY WHAT HE HAS UNSKILLFULLY SAID AND DONE THAT RENDERS HIM LIABLE FOR REPAYMENT IN SUFFERING, BEHAVE WISELY OR SKILLFULLY AND AVOID HORRENDOUS FUTURE SUFFERING.
AS JESUS SAID, ALL YOUR SINS WILL BE FORGIVEN, BUT ONLY IF YOU WASH YOURSELF OFF SIN THENCEFORTH.
The Buddha passed away by ascending to the highest states of the mind, descending from the highest states to the lower states and then back up again to pass away. No one could move the Buddha’s body until the wishes of the deities were fulfilled.
Part Six: The Passing Away
The Blessed One's Final Exhortation 1. Now the Blessed One spoke to the Venerable Ananda, saying: "It may be, Ananda, that to some among you the thought will come: 'Ended is the word of the Master; we have a Master no longer.' But it should not. For that which I have proclaimed as the Dhamma and the Discipline, that shall be your Master when I am gone.
5. Then the Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus, saying: "It may be, bhikkhus, that one of you is in doubt. Then question, bhikkhus! Do not be given to remorse later: 'The Master was with us face to face, yet we failed to ask him.'"
6. But when this was said, the bhikkhus were silent. And yet a second and a third time the Blessed One said to them:
And for a second and a third time the bhikkhus were silent. Then the Blessed One said to them: "It may be, bhikkhus, out of respect for the Master that you ask no questions. Then, bhikkhus, let friend communicate it to friend." Yet still the bhikkhus were silent.
" But here, Ananda, the Tathagata knows for certain that there is not even one bhikkhu who is in doubt as to the Buddha, the Dhamma, or the Sangha, the path or the practice. For, Ananda, among these five hundred bhikkhus even the lowest is a stream-enterer, secure from downfall, assured, and bound for enlightenment."
8. And the Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus, saying: "Behold now, bhikkhus, I exhort you: All compounded things are subject to vanish. Strive with earnestness!"
This was the last word of the Tathagata.
How the Blessed One Passed into Nibbana
9. And the Blessed One entered the first jhana. Rising from the first jhana, he entered the second jhana. Rising from the second jhana, he entered the third jhana. Rising from the third jhana, he entered the fourth jhana. And rising out of the fourth jhana, he entered the sphere of infinite space. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of infinite space, he entered the sphere of infinite consciousness. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of infinite consciousness, he entered the sphere of nothingness. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of nothingness, he entered the sphere of neither-perception-nor-non-perception. And rising out of the attainment of the sphere of neither-perception-nor-non-perception, he attained to the cessation of perception and feeling.
10. And Ananda spoke to Anuruddha, saying: "Venerable Anuruddha, the Blessed One has passed away."
11. Then the Blessed One, rising from the cessation of perception and feeling, entered the sphere of neither-perception-nor-non-perception. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of neither-perception-nor-non-perception, he entered the sphere of nothingness. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of nothingness, he entered the sphere of infinite consciousness. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of infinite consciousness, he entered the sphere of infinite space. Rising from the attainment of the sphere of infinite space, he entered the fourth jhana. Rising from the fourth jhana, he entered the third jhana. Rising from the third jhana, he entered the second jhana. Rising from the second jhana, he entered the first jhana.
Rising from the first jhana, he entered the second jhana. Rising from the second jhana, he entered the third jhana. Rising from the third jhana, he entered the fourth jhana. And, rising from the fourth jhana, the Blessed One immediately passed away.
The World's Echo
12. And when the Blessed One had passed away, there came a tremendous earthquake, dreadful and astounding, and the thunders rolled across the heavens.
13. And when the Blessed One had passed away, Brahma Sahampati spoke this stanza:
"All must depart -- all beings that have life
Must shed their compound forms. Yea, even one,
A Master such as he, a peerless being,
Powerful in wisdom, the Enlightened One, has passed away."
14. And when the Blessed One had passed away, simultaneously with his Parinibbana, Sakka, king of the gods, spoke this stanza: Must shed their compound forms. Yea, even one,
A Master such as he, a peerless being,
Powerful in wisdom, the Enlightened One, has passed away."
"Transient are all compounded things,
Subject to arise and vanish;
Having come into existence they pass away;
Good is the peace when they forever cease."
15. the Venerable Anuruddha spoke this stanza: Subject to arise and vanish;

"No movement of the breath, but with steadfast heart,
Free from desires and tranquil -- so the sage
Comes to his end. By mortal pangs unshaken,
His mind, like a flame extinguished, finds release."

17. Then, when the Blessed One had passed away, some bhikkhus, not yet freed from passion, lifted up their arms and wept. The All-accomplished One, the Buddha, passed away."
But the bhikkhus who were freed from passion, mindful and clearly comprehending, reflected: "Impermanent are all compounded things. How could this be otherwise?"
19. Now Anuruddha and Ananda spent the rest of the night in talking on the Dhamma. Then Anuruddha spoke to the Ananda, saying: "Go now, to Kusinara, and announce to the Mallas: 'The Blessed One, has passed away. Do now as seems fitting to you.'"
And when they heard, the Mallas were sorely grieved, and some, with their hair all dishevelled, with arms upraised in despair, wept; flinging themselves on the ground.
Homage to the Remains
21. And the Mallas, with the perfumes, the flower-garlands, and the musicians, and with five hundred sets of clothing, went to the Sala Grove. And having approached, they paid homage to the body of the Blessed One with dance, song, music, flower-garlands, and perfume, and erecting canopies and pavilions, they spent the day showing respect, honour, and veneration. And the thought came to them: "Now the day is too far spent for us to cremate the body. Tomorrow we will do it."
And for the second day, and a third, fourth, fifth, and sixth day, they paid homage to the body of the Blessed One.
But on the seventh day the thought came to them: "We have paid homage to the body of the Blessed One; let us now carry the body of the Blessed One southward to the southern part of the town and beyond, and let us there cremate the body of the Blessed One."
And eight Mallas, bathed and wearing new clothes, with the thought: "We will lift up the body of the Blessed One," tried to do so but they could not.
22. Then the Mallas spoke to Anuruddha, saying: "What is the cause, Venerable Anuruddha, that these eight Mallas with the thought: 'We will lift up the body of the Blessed One,' try to do so but cannot?"
"You, Vasetthas, have one purpose, the deities have another."
" The purpose of the deities, Vasetthas, is this: 'We have paid homage to the body of the Blessed One with heavenly dance, song, music, flower-garlands, and perfume, and have shown respect, let us now carry the body of the Blessed One to the northern part of the town; and having carried it through the northern gate, let us go through the centre of the town, and then eastward to the east of the town; and having passed through the east gate, let us carry it to the cetiya of the Mallas, and there let us cremate the body of the Blessed One.'"
23. Thereupon the whole of Kusinara, even to the rubbish heaps, became covered knee-deep in mandarava flowers. And homage was paid to the body of the Blessed One by the deities as well as the Mallas of Kusinara. And they carried the body of the Blessed One to the northern part of the town; through the northern gate, they went through the centre of the town, and then to the east of the town; through the east gate, they carried the body of the Blessed One to the cetiya of the Mallas, and there laid it down.
24. "How should we act, Venerable Ananda, respecting the body of the Tathagata?"
"After the same manner, Vasetthas, as towards the body of a universal monarch."
"The body of a universal monarch, Vasetthas, is first wrapped round with new linen, and then with teased cotton wool. And again it is wrapped round with new linen, and again with teased cotton wool, and so it is done up to five hundred layers of linen and five hundred of cotton wool. When that is done, the body of the universal monarch is placed in an iron oil-vessel, which is enclosed in another iron vessel and a funeral pyre is built of all kinds of perfumed woods, and so the body of the universal monarch is burned. And at a crossroads a stupa is raised for the universal monarch.
25. Then the Mallas gave orders to their men. And the Mallas of Kusinara wrapped the body of the Blessed One round with new linen, then cotton wool. And again it was done up to five hundred layers of linen and cotton wool. They placed the body of the Blessed One in an iron oil-vessel, enclosed in another, and they built a funeral pyre of all kinds of perfumed woods, and upon it they laid the body of the Blessed One.
26. Now at that time the Venerable Maha Kassapa was journeying with a large company of five hundred bhikkhus. And on the way, he sat down at the foot of a tree.
And a certain Ajivaka came by, and he had taken a mandarava flower from Kusinara. And the Venerable Maha Kassapa saw the Ajivaka coming & spoke to him, saying: "Do you know, friend, anything of our Master?"
"Yes, friend, I know. It is now seven days since the ascetic Gotama passed away. "
28. Subhadda, who had renounced only in his old age addressed the bhikkhus, saying: "Enough, friends! Do not grieve,! We are well rid of that great ascetic. Too long, friends, have we been oppressed by his saying. Now we shall be able to do as we wish."
But the Venerable Maha Kassapa addressed the bhikkhus, saying: "Enough friends! Do not grieve, do not lament! For has not the Blessed One declared that with all that is dear and beloved there must be change, separation, and severance?
29. Now at that time four Mallas with the thought: "We will set alight the Blessed One's pyre," tried to do so but they could not. "What is the cause, Venerable Anuruddha, that these four Mallas try to do so but cannot?"
"The purpose of the deities, Vasetthas, is this: 'The Venerable Maha Kassapa is on his way. Let not the Blessed One's pyre be set alight until the Venerable Maha Kassapa has paid homage.'"
30. And the Venerable Maha Kassapa approached the pyre of the Blessed One. And he arranged his upper robe on one shoulder, and with his clasped hands raised in salutation, he walked three times round the pyre, keeping his right side towards the Blessed One's body, and he paid homage at the feet of the Blessed One. And even so did the five hundred bhikkhus.
And when homage had been paid by the Venerable Maha Kassapa and the five hundred bhikkhus, the pyre of the Blessed One burst into flame by itself.
31. No ashes or particles were to be seen of what had been skin, tissue, flesh; only bones remained. And of the five hundred linen wrappings, only two were not consumed, the innermost and the outermost.
32. And when the body of the Blessed One had been burned, water rained down from heaven and extinguished the pyre of the Blessed One.
And the Mallas laid the relics of the Blessed One in their council hall, and surrounded them with a lattice-work of spears and encircled them with a fence of bows; and there for seven days they paid homage to the relics of the Blessed One.

A false justification for electricity tariff increase:
I think it was said by some officials to justify raising electricity tariff because gas prices are soaring. Malaysia produces its own natural gas in abundance and the cost of extraction remains the same however high the world price and since the gas is owned by a state company Petronas, not a multinational, there is no justification and it is not a subsidy keeping prices low. The government is raising prices to make more money to feed the corrupt.
IF THE PERSON AND OTHERS BELIEVE THAT BECAUSE GAS PRICES KEEP RISING, ELECTRICITY PRICES NEED TO BE RAISED, HE IS DELUDED AND WILL GO MAD, IF HE DOES NOT BELIEVE THEN HE IS TELLING A LIE THAT ALSO ENDS IN INSANITY.

The more you stop the less you suffer:
This is a fundamental universal law that applies to all beings without exception and if you do not know it then you are ignorant, unskilful and a fool.
THE MORE A PERSON DOES OR SAYS OR THINKS OR PERCEIVES THE MORE HE SUFFERS, THE LESS HE SAYS, DOES, THINKS AND PERCEIVES THE LESS HE SUFFERS. THE HIGHEST BEINGS ARE NOT INTERESTED IN SAYING OR DOING ANYTHING WHICH IS WHY DIVINE BEINGS SELDOM INTERVENE IN THIS WORLD AND THERE IS NO USE INTERVENING TOO BECAUSE BEINGS HERE ARE DELUDED, WILL NOT BE DENIED.
Who is the person who will not stop?
The man who stretches all his syllables, changes speed and loudness is the man who will not stop and he always suffers terribly here.
The man who does not stretch all his syllables, does not change speed and loudness is the man who stops and always suffers less and is therefore far happier here.
The person who speaks and does is the man who does not stop and that is always suffering. Therefore do not congratulate yourself for being hardworking because that is the way to suffering. Those who are lazy too will suffer because when they laze they are not stopping but using their mental force to prolong which is an essential component of lingering or lazing.
The person who does not speak and do is the man who has stopped and that is always release from suffering, he only speaks and does what is essential, relevant to the occasion.
The person who thinks is the man who does not stop, the person who has stopped thinking, is without thought when fully conscious is the man who has stopped.
The person who stirs his mental force to be attracted or like, stirs his mental force repulsively to dislike is the man who does not stop, the person who has stopped liking and disliking is the man who has stopped and he is released from suffering.
The person who feels pain and pleasure, who seeks pain and pleasure is the man who has not stopped, the person who does not feel pain and pleasure, does not seek them is the man who has stopped and suffers much less.
THE REASON THE PERSON WHO DOES NOT STOP SUFFERS IS BECAUSE HE MUST USE FORCE OR EXPOSE HIS MIND TO PAINFUL EVIL FORCE IN ORDER TO SPEAK OR DO, IN ORDER TO STRETCH SYLLABLES, CHANGE SPEED OR LOUDNESS, IN ORDER TO THINK, LIKE AND DISLIKE OR FEEL PAIN OR PLEASURE.
THE BUDDHA HAS STOPPED ABSOLUTELY, HE HAS STOPPED HIS BEING, HE HAS STOPPED BECOMING BECAUSE TO BECOME IS NOT TO STOP, TO STOP BECOMING IS TO STOP AND THAT IS THE FINAL EXTINCTION OF ALL SUFFERING ESCAPING TO THE DESTINATION OF NO FALLING AWAY. YOU CAN FALL AWAY FROM HEAVEN NO MATTER HOW LONG YOU STAY THERE BUT THERE IS NO FALLING AWAY FROM NIBBANA.
A recession? It's technically possible
After today’s negative GDP figure for the March quarter, and the recent spate of bad news and economic statistics pouring out, it isn’t a big leap for Australia’s so-called miracle economy to be staring down the barrel of a technical recession in the June quarter.
Anyone who sees nothing wrong, accepts what is said is true does not truly understand.
A recession is either possible or impossible, there is nothing technical or untechnical about the possibility and so she is talking nonsense she thinks is full of meaning, impressive.
SOMETHING IS EITHER POSSIBLE OR IMPOSSIBLE, THERE IS NOTHING TECHNICAL ABOUT IT AND BECAUSE YOU PERCEIVE THAT AS OK, YOU HAVE FALSE PERCEPTION OR DO NOT TRULY UNDERSTAND AND WILL BE POISONED BY HER AND SO THIS IS A FOOL TALKING HEAPING FUTURE SUFFERING ON HERSELF. SHE THINKS SHE IS VERY CLEVER BUT SHE IS DELUDED.

If it is true mobile phones radiate microwaves and it is directed and can pass to the brain, then it has potential to cook and harm the brain.
There are ‘experts’ who may be paid by phone companies to scoff at these claims so that their business will not suffer.
THIS IS A WICKED WORLD WHERE PEOPLE WILL TELL LIES TO GET WHAT THEY WANT. IF MOBILE PHONES EMIT MICROWAVES AND THESE CAN PASS TO THE BRAIN THAT CLEARLY IT CAN HARM BRAIN CELLS JUST AS MICROWAVES CAN COOK FOOD.
'Shocking' care abuse condemned
Care abuse can be extreme, moderate or mild, never shocking, never stirring a person’s mental force violently to be shocked.
If his mental force is indeed stirred violently for him to be stunned or immobilized or shocked then it is the dangerous harmful tormenting inappropriate response to an event that will end in such intensity that control is lost and he will go mad.
If he is not shocked by it, he is only falsifying it to stir others’ emotions and exaggerate the gravity of the occasion, he is also practicing controlled madness that ends in madness and just as he wants others to be shocked, he too is conditioning himself to be shocked by what does not shocks that ends in insanity.
‘Shocking’ is his understanding of what he perceived and so his understanding is to stir blind meaningless mental force and so he has no true understanding and it is dangerous, potentially deadly to have wrong understanding of something happening.
