are you entitled to say the best is yet to come?
If you can see the future as God or the Buddha can and you see the
future is bright and happy then you are right to say the best is yet to come.
If you have no such powers, no such vision then you are speaking without
knowing in the name of pleasing and impressing others not realizing your head
is on the chopping board.
An
exercise in dangerous false logic?
Just because you have many ‘exciting’ things you want to do with your
presidency that you think will benefit the people does not mean the best is yet
to come, you may thwarted by your enemies or what you think is best may even be

hear things I never heard before:
The Buddha said the person who has reached a very high concentration can
hear things afar even as far as the heavens. Even things close, the person
whose concentration is high hears better much better than the person whose
concentration is poor. You can spend tens of thousands of dollars in pursuit of
Hi Fi sound but if there is resistance in your hearing, you hear greedily and
your concentration is scattered (eg’ not in the mood’) then the very sounds you
crave will elude you but for the person who has achieved a high concentration
of his mind, who has no resistance to what he hears, who is not greedy to hear
more, he effortlessly hears (and sees) much more than the other person.
I was hearing some well recorded mild or soft jazz music on my Hi Fi
system that is more than 30 years old and I heard details and imaging I never
heard before in the past.
Why is that so?
My mind is now much higher concentrated than in the past. There is no
innate resistance to things I hear and see which allows things to be heard or
seen better. Just as there is self-resistance in their speech and actions,
there is resistance in their hearing that colours and impedes what they hear.
In their haste or greed to hear more they hear less. A person who has no greed,
is not greedy to hear, hears better, hears more.
IT IS NOT JUST SUPERIOR HEARING APPARATUS IN YOUR EARS AND SUPERIOR HI
FI EQUIPMENT THAT YOU NEED TO HEAR BETTER AND MORE, A CRUCIAL INGREDIENT IS THE
ATTAINMENT OF A HIGH CONCENTRATION AND THE ELIMINATION OF THE RESISTANCE AND
GREED PRESENT IN ORDINARY PEOPLE’S HEARING THAT HANDICAPS WHAT THEY HEAR
NEGATING WHATEVER ADVANTAGE IN EXPENSIVE HI FI AND GOOD HEARING OR EARS THEY
MAY POSSESS.

THEREFORE BEFORE YOU SPEND A FORTUNE BUYING THE BEST HI FI EQUIPMENT,
FIRST OBTAIN HIGH CONCENTRATION, IT IS A FAR MORE INDISPENSABLE INGREDIENT TO
HI FI. IN THE PAST I NEED TO DO ‘A-B’ COMPARISONS EVEN MANY TIMES AND STILL BE
NOT SURE WHICH IS BETTER. NOWADAYS EVEN WITHOUT A-B COMPARISONS I CAN TELL

Hi Fi, rotten ears, rotten concentration:
If you have a rotten Hi Fi then even if you have the best ears and best
concentration the sound will still be rotten.
You may have the best Hi Fi, best ears but if your concentration is poor
or distorted or perverted, still the sound you hear will be perverted, coloured
and you may miss things that are possible to hear.
THUS, IN ORDER TO HAVE GOOD HI FI, A CALM CLEARLY RECEPTIVE MIND IS JUST

thinking, muddled hearing, muddled seeing:
Just as it is possible for a person to have muddled (confused,
haphazard) thinking, it is possible for a person to have muddled hearing and
muddled seeing.
Just as it is possible to have clear thinking, it is possible for the
same person to have clear hearing and clear seeing and this person sees and
hears much better than the person with muddled mind.

unremarkable tracks sound good:
Songs that in the past I shunned because they were nondescript sounds
quite listenable nowadays.
The reason was I had aversion in the past, certain tracks were favoured
or liked and others were shunned because they ‘did not sound nice’.
Nowadays, neither liking nor disliking what I hear, I hear songs as they
actually are, without colouration and so even ‘nondescript’ tracks that I used
to skip sounds quite listenable.
A PERSON WITH PREDILECTIONS, LIKES AND DISLIKES DOES NOT HEAR TRULY,
WHEN HE HEARS SOMETHING HE LIKES, HE IS AROUSED AND THIS COLOURS HIS
PERCEPTION, WHEN HE HEARS SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT APPEAL TO HIM, HIS AVERSION
IS STIRRED THAT ALSO COLOURS WHAT HE HEARS.

of no understanding:
If a person knows ‘being encouraged’ is nonsense he would not say it, it
is because he perceives it as meaningful that he speaks so.
Anyone who speaks as if meaningful something that is in truth false does
