Why do people crouch when walking against strong winds?
In countries where there are strong winds eg Japan and HK, you see people crouched forward as they walk. What is the rationale?
The crouched position reduces exposure and leverage to the strong winds that would otherwise topple them.
A tall or upright man is more likely to be toppled by the wind because he provides greater leverage on the fulcrum of the feet, the forward crouched position reduces the leverage the wind can employ.
Walking with the wind behind is little problem, the push of the wind does not topple you but will make walking faster, easier.
IN THE SAME WAY PUTTING A PLANE ON A CLIMB EXPOSES THE PLANE MORE TO GRIP BY THE STRONG WIND THAT BECAUSE THE FRONT WINGS ARE MUCH BIGGER THAN THE REAR, TEND TO TURN THE PLANE SO THAT IT BECOMES UPRIGHT AND THUS LOSE ALL LIFT AND PLUNGE LIKE A STONE.
It does not matter whether you or think what he says makes sense or not, it is rubbish and this must stress whoever who receives.
It is never that UK must keep looking outwards or inwards or both, you do not tell others what to do especially if it is false if you do not want suffering in repayment but UK must be correct, be true and good if it wants wellbeing, happiness. You see jet fighters climbing sharply but they are different, they are light and their engines powerful so that even without lift (eg in near vertical climbs) their engine thrust is able to keep them airborne even fly upwards like a rocket and when gravity finally terminate their climb and they start to fall, fighters are much more nimble and can make a quick roll to correct their fall.
POWERFUL AS JUMBO JET ENGINES ARE, THEY CANNOT ALONE SUSTAIN THE JUMBO IN THE AIR, THEY NEED CONSIDERABLE ASSISTANCE FROM LIFT SUPPLIED BY AIR. IN NEAR VERTICAL CLIMBS A JUMBO JET ENGINE CANNOT SUSTAIN THE PLANE WITHOUT LIFT AND SO IT IS DISASTER IF A JUMBO WAS INCLINED SHARPLY TO THE HORIZONTAL. A JET FIGHTER ENGINE, TOGETHER WITH LIGHT BODY CAN ALONE SUSTAIN THE JET WITHOUT LIFT IN VERTICAL CLIMBS AND WHEN IT STARTS TO FALL IT IS NIMBLE ENOUGH TO CORRECT THE FALL BY GOING INTO A ROLL LIKE A FALLING CAT CORRECTS ITSELF SWIFTLY. THIS THE CLUMSY JUMBO JET CANNOT DO.
THUS IF FOR ANY REASON YOUR JUMBO SHOULD TILT MORE THAN 70 DEGREES FROM HORIZON, IT WILL SLIDE DOWN RAPIDLY OUT OF CONTROL TO DOOM JUST AS A POORLY POWERED CAR WILL SLIDE DOWN A STEEP SLOPE IT CANNOT CLIMB.
THE REASON WHY STRONG HEADWINDS WILL TILT THE PLANE TO THE VERTICAL IS BECAUSE OF THE GROSS DISPARITY IN SIZES OF THE FRONT AND REAR WINGS, ESPECIALLY IF THE TAIL IS HEAVY WITH PASSENGERS OR CARGO. BECAUSE THE FRONT WINGS ARE MUCH BIGGER THE WIND WILL PUSH IT MORE STRONGLY UPRIGHT THAN THE TAIL, ESPECIALLY IF THE TAIL IS HEAVY AND FRONT LIGHT AND THIS CAUSE THE PLANE TO BECOME NEAR VERTICAL, LOSE ITS LIFT AND PLUNGE.
THIS MECHANISM IN MILDER FORM IS THE BASIS OF TAKE OFFS. THE RUSHING WIND CATCHES THE FRONT WINGS OF THE JUMBO JET, LIFTS IT MODERATELY AND ENABLES THE AIR LIFT AUGMENTED BY MAXIMAL THRUST OF ENGINES TO LAUNCH THE PLANE INTO THE AIR.
AIRCRAFT CARRIERS IN THE PAST HAD TO TURN INTO THE WIND TO LAUNCH THEIR PLANES BECAUSE THE PLANES WERE NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH TO GET AIRBORNE ON SHORT RUNWAYS AND NEED TO LAUNCH INTO THE HEADWIND THAT WILL LIFT THE PLANES INTO THE AIR, SIMILARLY HEAVY BIRDS (EG VULTURES) HAVE TO LAUNCH THEMSELVES INTO THE WIND FROM CLIFFS IN ORDER TO GET AIRBORNE.
THE VERY HEADWINDS THAT ENABLE THE JUMBO TO GET AIRBORNE IF TOO STRONG CAN EXCESSIVELY LIFT THE NOSE CAUSING IT TO LOSE ALL LIFT AND PLUNGE TO DOOM.
Headwinds have good and bad because it is not truly good:
Whatever is truly good has no drawbacks, no bad, whatever has bad is never truly good.
Winds are a product of force and force, whether mild or strong are harmful.
And so it is, mild to moderate headwinds enable carrier aircraft to take off from short runways, enable heavy birds like albatross and vultures to take off but strong headwinds as in a violent storm can tilt a jumbo jet upright causing it to lose all lift and crash.

The front of a jumbo jet is pushed by wind much more than its tail:
Because of its much larger front wing area, the front of a jumbo jet (if foolishly exposed by the pilot) is pushed much more by strong headwinds than the tail causing the plane to rear head up losing all its lift and fall like a stone.

Always fill the front of a plane first:
Bearing in mind the dangers to a jumbo jet, the wise person will ensure the plane is filled with passengers and cargo to the front first before the back.
A PERSON WHO TRULY UNDERSTANDS CAN AVERT MANY UNNECESSARY DANGERS.
KNOWING THE DANGERS OF A TAIL HEAVY JUMBO, THE PERSON WOULD ENSURE PASSENGERS AND CARGO FILL THE FRONT FIRST BEFORE THE BACK AND ALL HEAVY CARGO IS LOADED TO THE FRONT THAN BACK.
Always shield belly of plane and make U turn in severe storms:
Knowing the dangers of strong headwinds, the person who understands will shield the belly of his plane from headwinds by travelling with slight dip of his nose and if conditions are very bad, NEVER CLIMB but make a careful U turn making sure the wings are not exposed to the wind and once U turn is completed the plane is safe.
A STRONG FOLLOWING WIND IS NOT DANGEROUS TO THE PLANE ONLY MAKES FLYING FASTER AND CHEAPER. IT IS A STRONG HEADWIND THAT IS A DANGEROUS ADVERSARY.

Based on facts, the plane was found within 10 km of last radar position, the plane must have plunged sharply into the sea not landed on water and then overcome by high seas.
The plane plunged sharply into the sea but if it landed tail first, it is like a diver landing and the plane may remain intact and there may be survivors.
THE PLANE COULD NOT LAND ON WATER AND OVERCOME BY HIGH SEAS BECAUSE IT WAS CLOSE TO ITS LAST KNOWN POSITION AND IT MUST HAVE FALLEN LIKE A STONE AND THAT IS NEVER A LANDING.
HOWEVER IF IT FELL TAIL FIRST, IT IS LIKE A DIVER ENTERING WATER AND THERE MAY BE SURVIVORS IN THE FORWARD SECTION.
IF YOU UNDERSTOOD THE TRAJECTORY THE PLANE MUST TAKE IT CANNOT LAND ON WATER BUT IT PLUNGED INTO WATER.
A near vertical down trajectory cannot be a landing but a plunge but there may be survivors:
The trajectory of the plane down is nearly vertical and that can never be a landing but a crash but nevertheless if the plane entered water like a diver’s feet, those at the forward section may be spared of impact and survive.
Whoever misleads others, confuses others incurs debt:
People in this world are liberal with their advice and opinions not realizing that if what they mislead or confuse others, they are liable for punishment that may extend to an ocean and eternity because if you are punished you cannot go to heaven.
If you say may have landed in water and overcome by seas and you have not verified to see if that fits with facts you are speculating and that has blame (even if you guessed right) to be repaid by suffering.

Whatever is a double edged sword is false, harmful and so you are foolish to want to discuss what is false. Sanctions are not the answer, it is about fighting and whatever is fighting is evil and so you never hear me speak about sanctions.

I was correct according to Indonesian investigator:
Some may have survived the crash because if the engines are active they would partially retard descent and those towards the front may survive.
Indonesian aviation analyst Gerry Soejatman believes the aircraft rose up as fast as a fighter jet and then dropped back into the ocean almost vertically into the water.

The aircraft then fell at 11,000ft a minute, with bursts of up to 24,000ft – in marked contrast to regular circumstances, when a plane would climb between 1000ft to 1500ft on a sustained basis, gaining 3000ft in a burst.
Air Asia flew without permission:
One must not take the law into your own hands and if you are not entitled to fly the route on Sundays and you do so and it meets with disaster, there is blame.
Flying without permission is taking without given or stealing and this is serious.
MANY COMPANIES ARE MONEY MINDED, THEY WILL NOT DIVERT BECAUSE OF EXTRA FUEL COSTS LET ALONE CANCEL FLIGHTS AND IT TURNS OUT AIR ASIA WAS NOT PERMITTED TO FLY SUNDAYS AND IT MEETS WITH DISASTER AND SO AIR ASIA IS MORE CULPABLE THAN PEOPLE THINK.
Taking what is not given has serious consequences:
Not just stealing, the Buddha taught, do not take what is not given. Thus if you see a $50 note on the road, it is not given to you and you are wise not to take it.

Sanctions punish the country for the actions of its leaders who actually don’t care for their countries and they have means to circumvent sanctions and they don’t suffer but the masses do.
IF YOU THINK SANCTIONS WORK WHEN THEY DON’T AND ARE WRONG, THERE IS SUFFERING DUE LATER IN REPAYMENT.
FURTHER EVEN IF SANCTIONS WORK, IF THEY ARE WRONG AND BAD YOU ARE LIABLE FOR REPAYMENT.

32 GB does not cost too much nowadays and Apple is a scrooge and wicked to give its customers only 16 GB disc space especially when updates may render the existing space inadequate.
IT MAKES NO SENSE FOR A RESPONSIBLE MERCHANT TO SUPPLY PRODUCTS THAT ARE VERY LIKELY TO BE INADEQUATE WHEN THE COSTS OF INCREASING STORAGE IS ACTUALLY QUITE CHEAP. CHARGE A BIT MORE AND GIVE THEM AMPLE SPACE OR IS APPLE TRYING TO PROMOTE ICLOUD?
The complaint has been filed in California by Miami residents Paul Orshan and Christopher Endara who say that iOS 8 can occupy up to 23.1% of the memory available on some Apple devices.
In addition, upgrading devices from the earlier iOS 7 to 8 can cause people to lose up to 1.3 gigabytes of memory, said papers filed in support of the legal action.
The amount of memory taken up by iOS 8 can mean users run out of storage and, the pair allege, this is helping Apple force people to sign up for its fee-based iCloud storage system.
Apple: either 16 or 64 GB:
APPLE ONLY THINKS ABOUT ITSELF NOT ITS LOYAL CUSTOMERS. IF IT IS COSTLY TO APPLE TO SUPPLY A 32 GB OPTION WHY DOES IT NOT THINK ABOUT THE COSTS TO CUSTOMERS WHO FIND OUT THEY LACK DISK SPACE?
Apple may argue it is too costly in terms of inventory to have another option 32 GB and so you either get 16GB or you pay through your nose for 64GB.
If Apple can think about the costs to itself of offering a 32 GB option, why does Apple not think the costs to customers who are likely to run out of space and cannot have a SD card inserted.
APPLE DOES NOT PROVIDE EXPANDABLE SD CARD SLOTS AND IT IS WICKED TO MAKE CUSTOMERS CHOOSE BETWEEN A PALTRY EVEN UNACCEPTABLE 16GB OR EXPENSIVE 64 GB.
Apple’s meanness is never isolated:
Apple is not alone, there are many similar companies (like Microsoft) and meanness is never based on reason but rehashed by programming and so if Apple is mean in the amount of space it provides customer (bare bone 16BG instead of generous 32 GB or expensive 64 GB) it is a corporate trait and so it is there are many (disguised) actions that are mean, out to milk customers like new (expensive) lightning connectors with built in chip to prevent cloning.
Parts of the tail and passengers sitting in a row:
Apparently parts recovered came from the tail and there was an instance of passengers in a row strapped to their seats.
This would be in keeping with a tail first landing that would smash the tail and the opened rear end may permit bodies strapped in seats to emerge and float to the surface.
AND SO, PARTS OF TAIL AND PASSENGERS STRAPPED TO SEATS IN A ROW IS CONSISTENT WITH A TAIL FIRST CRASH SMASHING THE TAIL THAT ALLOWED THOSE SEATED IN THE REAR TO RISE TO THE SURFACE.
Why tornado, wind shear unlikely to cause the crash:
A tornado at high altitude may cause the crash, suck the plane up and then release it to fall but is unlikely.
Tornadoes usually rip apart, tear to pieces things caught in its spout and it would be sheer coincidence if it were to release the plane at such an attitude as to fall like a stone.
THE AIR ASIA FLIGHT FELL VERTICALLY LIKE A STONE AND A PLANE IS AERODYNAMIC EXCEPT IF IT FELL TAIL FIRST, IF IT FELL HEAD FIRST, THE PILOT CAN CONTROL THE PLANE.

THE ONLY WAY AN INTACT PLANE CAN PLUNGE VERTICALLY IS IF IT IS VERTICAL WITH TAIL LOWER DOWN NOT IF THE PLANE IS HORIZONTAL AND IT WOULD BE A SHEER COINCIDENCE IF ANY STORM CONDITION OTHER THAN HEADWINDS PUSHING A CLIMBING PLANE UPRIGHT THAT RESULTS IN AN INTACT PLANE PLUNGING VERTICALLY TAIL FIRST DOWN.
Only one explanation for a sudden tail first vertical plunge:
It appears the Air Asia flight suddenly rapidly plunged vertically into the ocean below its last radar location.
A plane is usually aerodynamic and the only way a plane can do this is if it was somehow upended so that it is upright with tail down when it loses all aerodynamic properties and become like a knife slicing through the air tail first.
A PLANE CAN ONLY PLUNGE VERTICALLY IF IT LOST ALL LIFT, IT WAS NOT AERODYNAMIC AND THIS CAN ONLY COME ABOUT IF IT BECAME VERTICAL WITH TAIL DOWN, WHICH IS CONSISTENT WITH STRONG HEADWINDS PUSHING A CLIMBING PLANE UPRIGHT TO PLUNGE DOWN LIKE A STONE.
STORMS ARE LIKELY TO RIP APART THE PLANE AND IT WOULD BE SHEER COINCIDENCE A STORM (EG TORNADO, WIND SHEAR) COULD ARRANGE THE PLANE IN A VERTICAL TAIL DOWN POSTURE.
Plane falling vertically tail first falls stably like a dart:
Plane cannot fall vertically sideways or nose first.
Only tail first can a plane fall vertically like a stone because the weight is preponderantly in the shaft or fuselage and the wings merely act as stabilizers as it plunges like a dart or arrow.

A sideways one main wing leading, it is not sustainable but the plane will rotate because the mass of the plane is not aligned with the line of fall. The weight of the transverse fuselage will tend to twist the plane to correct its vertical fall if it fell sideways with one front wing first.
ONLY A VERTICAL TAIL FIRST FALL CAN EXPLAIN THE PLANE’S FALL LIKE A STONE BECAUSE THE PLANE BECOMES LIKE AN ARROW OR DART WITH THE MASS OF THE PLANE ENTIRELY BEHIND THE LEADING END OR TAIL.
IF IT FELL VERTICALLY SIDEWAYS WITH ONE FRONT WING LEADING, THE WEIGHT IS NOT BEHIND THE FALL AND WILL TEND TO TWIST THE FALLING PLANE SO THAT IT SOON CORRECTS ITSELF.
A NOSE FIRST DIVE IS EASILY CORRECTIBLE BY THE PILOTS.

Why did both similar crashes involve Airbuses?
Everything that happens is with cause, not without causes and if you understand and discover the causes then action can be taken to ameliorate or prevent.

Searching for a plane down in the sea is a formidable resource challenge and in order to save money, effort and time, you have to employ understanding, unless you are a headless chicken.
Radar readings showed the plane climbed sharply and then plunged sharply in the last moments and obviously an important area to be searched first is where the plane disappeared from radar rather than the vast expanses of sea further ahead.

Tail found but no one wonders why black box not signalling:
JAKARTA: Indonesia said Wednesday (Jan 7) it had found the tail of AirAsia flight QZ8501, potentially marking a major step towards locating the plane's black boxes and helping shed light on what caused it to crash into the sea.
IT IS AGAIN AN INDICATION OF MANKIND’S CLUELESSNESS. THEY SAY THEY HAVE FOUND THE TAIL BUT THEY DO NOT REALIZE SURELY THE BLACK BOX IS EITHER IN THERE OR SHOULD NOT BE FAR AWAY SO WHY IS IT NOT SIGNALLING AND WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

If the churchgoers had requested block seating to the rear of the plane and there was also heavy cargo at the back then it would significantly tip the balance of the plane to be tail heavy predisposing to being toppled by strong winds.
There is no necessity for people to sit together, it is misguided and sometimes this that people think nothing even good can be even costly.
IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO GO TO SINGAPORE FOR NEW YEAR HOLIDAY, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO SIT AS A BLOC IN THE BACK AND IF THIS CONTRIBUTED TO THE CRASH IT WOULD BE MISGUIDED FOLLY THNAT HAS BLAME, NOT BLAMELESS.
