Happiness is the way to heaven, suffering the way to hell:

People in this world are deluding themselves they are happy, it is because they are not happy but besieged by stress, restlessness and distraction that they will be trapped to remain in this world mostly as animals.

There is such a thing called true happiness and it is freedom from stress, restlessness and distraction and it is the only way to heaven and enlightenment.

According to the Buddha there are seven factors of awakening in sequence or steps that lead to heaven and awakening, namely mindfulness (attentiveness) leading to analysis of qualities leading to discernment then persistence then rapture not of the flesh then calm then concentration and finally equanimity.

1)  The man who is mindful pays attention to what and how he says and does things, he is mindful of the stretching of words, changing speed and loudness in his speech. The wise person develops his mindfulness or attentiveness to the maximum.

2)  Paying attention to his speech and actions where he previously did not, he examines and discovers the wrongs in his speech and actions namely stretching of words, changing speed and loudness.

3)  He becomes persistent in his pursuit to discover and eliminate faults in his speech and actions.

4)  Thus pursuing his rapture that is not of the flesh increases and consolidates.

5)  In one whose mind and body is happy, calm develops.

6)  In one who is calm, his mind becomes concentrated, reaches the higher states of the mind.

7)  In one who is concentrated he becomes equanimous, neither like or dislike anything, he is disinterested in this world.

(The Seven Factors Of Awakening)

"And how are the four frames of reference developed & pursued so as to bring the seven factors of awakening to their culmination?

"[1] On whatever occasion the monk remains focused on the body in & of itself -- ardent, alert, & mindful -- putting aside greed & distress with reference to the world, on that occasion his mindfulness is steady & without lapse. When his mindfulness is steady & without lapse, then mindfulness as a factor of awakening becomes aroused. He develops it, and for him it goes to the culmination of its development.

"[2] Remaining mindful he examines, analyses & comes to a comprehension of that quality with discernment. When he remains mindful in this way, examining & coming to a comprehension of that quality with discernment then analysis of qualities as a factor of awakening becomes aroused. He develops it fully.

"[3] In one who examines, analyzes, & comes to a comprehension of that quality with discernment, unflagging persistence is aroused. When unflagging persistence is aroused in one who examines, analyzes, & comes to a comprehension of that quality with discernment, then persistence as a factor of awakening becomes aroused. He develops unflagging persistence fully.

"[4] In one whose persistence is aroused, a rapture not-of-the-flesh (happiness) arises. When a rapture not-of-the-flesh arises in one whose persistence is aroused, then rapture as a factor of awakening becomes aroused that he develops fully.

"[5] For one who is enraptured, the body grows calm and the mind grows calm. When the body & mind of an enraptured monk grow calm, then serenity as a factor of awakening becomes aroused that he develops fully.

"[6] For one who is at ease -- his body calmed -- the mind becomes concentrated. When the mind of one who is at ease -- his body calmed -- becomes concentrated, then concentration as a factor of awakening becomes aroused and he develops concentration fully.

"[7] He oversees the mind thus concentrated with equanimity. When he oversees the mind thus concentrated with equanimity, equanimity as a factor of awakening becomes aroused and he develops it fully.

Paying attention to something (mindfulness) is one thing, to examine what you pay attention to (analysis of qualities) is another thing, persistence or to train yourself to keep paying attention and examining is another thing.

According to the Buddha if you pay right attention to your speech and actions and examine it correctly for style, for prolonging words, changing speed and loudness or strength and you are persistent, keep on doing it you will be rewarded with release from suffering or rapture and if you keep experiencing rapture, your mind will become calm and when it becomes calm, it becomes concentrated to reach the four higher states of the mind, when it is concentrated it experiences equanimity, neither liking or disliking and this is always escape from suffering never suffering.

It is a person’s perceptions, thinking, speech and action that has fault, wrong that is the cause of his suffering and so anyone who wishes to escape suffering and death now and forever must pay attention to his speech and actions and examine it for fault or blame and foremost of fault is his style, his constant prolonging words, changing speed and loudness. When he discovers this style and the link to his suffering it is impossible he will continue to have style and having erased his style he will experience rapture not of the flesh that calms and concentrates his mind.

 

Impossible the counselor can teach the world without being born here:

If the Buddha who says he is the highest teacher, no one is fit to be his teacher and Jesus had to be born into this world to teach the world it is impossible the counselor Jesus described can teach the world, convince the world of sin, righteousness and judgment without being born in this world. It is precisely that he will be born into this world and speak that those who speak against the Son of man will be forgiven, those who speak against the Holy Spirit will not. Even if you do not know he is the Holy Spirit, still what he says is different from anyone else and when you speak against him you are specifically speaking against him not anybody else.

The Buddha had to go to heaven to teach his mother in gratitude for having carried him so it is impossible anyone can teach another by mind to mind, an evil spirit can enter and seize a mind but it is impossible to teach mind to mind.

AND SO IT IS, THE COUNSELOR JESUS DESCRIBED IS A COUNSELOR WHO WILL COME PHYSICALLY JUST AS THE BUDDHA AND JESUS DID, NOT OTHERWISE.

 

What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is very important to escape death and suffering, it is a factor in the Buddha’s noble eightfold path but even top Buddhists are unable to define it as I do.

Mindfulness is about paying attention to all your (not others) actions, what and how you say or do. The mindful person pays utmost attention to the right or wrong, suffering or not suffering of what and how he perceives (sees, hears), thinks, says and does and if a person is mindful of his speech it is impossible he will fail to detect the constant prolonging of words, syllables, changing speed and loudness that is wrong and mad, the source of his renewing insoluble stress, restlessness and distraction that he also persecutes others.

MINDFULNESS IS SIMPLY PAYING ATTENTION TO THE WHAT AND HOW OF YOUR (NOT OTHERS) SPEECH AND ACTIONS WITH REGARD TO RIGHT OR WRONG, SUFFERING OR NOT SUFFERING AND THENCE MAKING AN EFFORT TO CORRECT WRONG AND WHAT IS SUFFERING.

Whether a person is mindful or not is indisputable, if you are not mindful, do not pay attention to and see the wrong in your speech and actions you are never heading out of suffering and death.

 

The meritless man in debt is poor and that is always suffering:

The Buddha: (No ordinary man can speak unbroken without faltering what the Buddha said below)

Poverty is called suffering in the world;
so, too, is getting into debt.
A poor person, in debt,
partaking of sensuality, suffers hardship.
Then they hound him and put him into bondage:
the painful bond for one longing to gain
sensual pleasures.

Now, anyone with no conviction
in the discipline of a noble one
-- no sense of conscience, no sense of concern --
contemplating evil actions,
doing wrong by way of body,
wrong by way of speech,
& wrong by way of the mind,
wants: 'May they not know about me.'
He creeps along in body, speech, or mind,
piling up evil actions, here & there,
again & again.
He, with evil actions, his wisdom weak,
knowing his own wrong-doing, is
a poor person, in debt.
Partaking of sensuality, he suffers hardship.

Then they hound him --
painful mental resolves born of remorse --
at home or in the wilderness.
He, with evil actions, his wisdom weak,
knowing his own wrong-doing,
goes to an animal womb or is bound in hell:
the painful bond from which the enlightened are freed.

But one with confidence, living at home,
making gifts of his belongings,
righteously-gained, wins both goals:
advantage in the here-&-now,
& happiness in the world beyond.
The liberality of this householder piles up merit.

Now, anyone with conviction firmly established
in the discipline of a noble one --
with a sense of conscience, a sense of concern,
discerning & restrained by virtue --
is, in the discipline of a noble one,
said to be living in ease.

Gaining a pleasure not of the flesh,
he determines on equanimity:
abandoning the five hindrances
-- persistence constantly aroused --
entering the jhanas:
unified, mindful, & wise.

Knowing this as it actually is
in the total ending of all fetters,
through everywhere not-clinging,
his mind is rightly released.

In him, Such, rightly released,
there is the knowledge, in the total ending
of the fetters of becoming:
'My release is unshakable.'

That is the highest knowledge that, the happiness unexcelled. Sorrowless, dustless, at rest,
that is release from debt."
