Why Ling Liong Sik Must Be Implicated:

Defence in the murder trial of lorry attendant receives documents
(Bernama, 29 Jul 2010) -- The prosecution in the murder trial of lorry attendant M. Rajamorgan, who is accused of killing 18-month-old infant K. Haresvarra, today handed over the documents required by the defence counsel.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Alfred Agin said documents such as the chemistry and autopsy reports had been handed over when the case was mentioned at the High Court, here today.
Agin said High Court Senior Assistant Registrar, Mohd Fadhly Yaacob, later fixed Sept 1 as the date for re-mention of the case as the defence needed more time to scrutinize the documents before deciding whether they would make a representation on behalf of their client.
If the defence team, comprising Amer Hamzah Arshad and N. Surendran, wished to make a representation, they must do so on that date. Rajamorgan, 33, is charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code which carries the mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
He is alleged to have killed Haresvarra between 9.40pm and 10.10pm on March 3 at the Vista Damansara Apartment children's playground at Jalan Kenanga, Kg Sungai Kayu Ara, Petaling Jaya.
The accused was first charged at the Petaling Jaya Magistrate's Court on March 15.

Anwar fails to get sodomy documents: Federal Court rules it's an act 'to fish for evidence'
(The Malay Mail, 29 Jan 2010) - The Federal Court today dismissed Parti Keadilan Rakyat de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s appeal to obtain key documents from the prosecution for his upcoming sodomy trial.
The ruling this morning was delivered by a three-judge panel, led by Datuk Abdull Hamid Embong. The other two were Chief Judge of Malaya Tan Sri Arifin Zakaria and Justice Datuk Md Raus Sharif.
In delivering judgment, Abdull Hamid said the High Court had erred in its interpretation of Section 51 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC), to which the High Court had allowed the defence access to key documents before the commencement of the sodomy trial.
The Federal Court said Anwar’s attempt in getting the documents was an act "to fish for evidence", adding that Anwar can only have access to documents at the beginning of the trial if the documents are relevant to the prosecution’s case.
Present in court today were Solicitor-General II Datuk Mohd Yusof Zainal Abiden, and defence counsel Karpal Singh, S.N. Nair and Datuk Param Cumaraswamy.
Karpal said he would seek a judicial review of the Federal Court decision on Feb 2, the same day the trial would commence.
Anwar, 62, was charged with sodomising his former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, 24, at a condominium in Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, on June 26, 2008.
On July 16, 2009, High Court judge Datuk Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah had granted Anwar’s application under Section 51 of the Criminal Procedure Code to compel the prosecution to supply him with key documents to enable him to prepare his defence.
The High Court had granted him copies of witness statements, CCTV recordings, police reports, medical and chemist notes, among others.
The court, however, did not grant him his request for DNA samples taken from Mohd Saiful.
On Nov 6, the Court of Appeal, in a unanimous decision, had overturned the High Court’s ruling in allowing the prosecution’s appeal and dismissed Anwar’s cross-appeal for DNA samples.
In his submissions last week, Karpal had sought to have the Federal Court restore the High Court’s order, saying that the appeals filed by both parties to the Court of Appeal had been incompetent.

Similarly the overpriced stocks they hold lull them to believe they are much wealthier than they actually are. And now fund managers using others’ money have no hesitation to prop up markets to maintain the illusion of wealth more than it actually is.
At the heart of the crisis or the killer may be the grand illusion of wealth created by bank lending.
A single million deposited in a bank can be lent out and obviously it will be used to pay someone else who becomes the new owner of the $1 million and if he too deposits the money in a bank it becomes available for lending to be transferred to yet another person who becomes the “theoretical” owner of the same million. Thus after many cycles of depositing lending and depositing of the same million there are many theoretical owners of the single million and many debtors owing many millions due to that single million and so as time goes on and the leverage becomes great and if borrowers have used the borrowed money for useless unproductive consumptive purposes, a time will come when the charade cannot be maintained anymore and all the theoretical owners of the single million may find themselves owners only in name not substance whilst many now owe many millions spawned by loans based on that single million. Herein is a fatal crisis that will kill many who are unwary.

The vast majority of people are kidding themselves if they think they are perfect or mindful, guarding themselves and their senses constantly as the Buddha taught.
No one can speak thus like the Buddha:
40. Then the Blessed One spake, and said:
`Know, Vàseññha, that (from time to time) a Tathàgata (Thus Come One) is born into the world, an Arahat, a fully awakened one, abounding in wisdom and goodness, happy, with knowledge of the worlds, unsurpassed as a guide to mortals willing to be led, a teacher of gods and men, a Blessed One, a Buddha. He, by himself, thoroughly understands and sees, as it were, face to face this universe including the worlds above with the gods, the Màras, and the Brahmàs; and the world below with its Samaõas and Brahmans, its princes and peoples and he then makes his knowledge known to others. The truth doth he proclaim both in the letter and in the spirit, lovely in its origin, lovely in its progress, lovely in its consummation: the higher life doth he make known, in all its purity and in all its perfectness.'
41. `A householder (gahapati), or one of his children, or a man of inferior birth in any class, listens to that truth. [27] On hearing the truth he has faith in the Tathàgata, and when he has acquired that faith he thus considers with himself:
Full of hindrances is household life, a path defiled by passion: free as the air is the life of him who has renounced all worldly things. How difficult it is for the man who dwells at home to live the higher life in all its fullness, in all its purity, in all its bright perfection! Let me then cut off my hair and beard, let me clothe myself in the orange-coloured robes, and let me go forth from a household life into the homeless state.
`Then before long, forsaking his portion of wealth, be it great or be it small; forsaking his circle of relatives, be they many or be they few, he cuts off his hair and beard, he clothes himself in the orange-coloured robes and he goes forth from the household life into the homeless state.
42. `When he has thus become a recluse he passes to a life self-restrained by that restraint which should be binding on a recluse. Uprightness is his delight, and he sees danger in the least of those things he should avoid. He adopts and trains himself in the precepts. He encompasses himself with goodness in word and deed. He sustains his life by means that are quite pure; good is his conduct, guarded the door of his senses; mindful and self-possessed, he is altogether happy!'
43-75. `And how, Vàseññha, is his conduct good?'
[The answer is set forth in the words of the tract on the Sãlas, translated above, pp.
3 -26, but with the refrain as in the Sàma¤¤a-phala Suttanta above, p.79. Then follow Sections 63-75, inclusive, of the Sàma¤¤a-phala; setting forth:

1. The confidence of heart that results from the sense of goodness.

2. The way in which he guards the doors of his senses.

3. The way in which he is mindful and self-possessed.

4. His habit of being content with little, of adopting simplicity of life.

5. His conquest of the Five Hindrances (restlessness, sensuality, ill will, worries and concerns about affairs of the world, laziness and sleepiness), each with the explanatory simile.

6. The joy and peace which, as a result of this conquest, fills his whole being.]

76. [28] `And he lets his mind pervade one quarter of [\q 318/] the world with thoughts of Love, and so the second, and so the third, and so the fourth. And thus the whole wide world, above, below, around, and everywhere, does he continue to pervade with heart of Love, far-reaching, grown great, and beyond measure.'
77. `Just, Vàseññha, as a mighty trumpeter makes himself heard and that without difficulty in all the four directions; even so of all things that have shape or life, there is not one that he passes by or leaves aside, but regards them all with mind set free, and deep-felt love.'
`Verily this, Vàseññha, is the way to a state of union with Brahmà.' (a mind with immeasurable love and goodwill to all as to himself is the way to union with Brahma)
78. `And he lets his mind pervade one quarter of the world with thoughts of pity, [29] sympathy, [30] equanimity, [31] and so the second, and so the third, and so the fourth. And thus the whole wide world, above, below, around, and everywhere, does he continue to pervade with heart of pity, ... sympathy, ... equanimity, far-reaching, grown great, and beyond measure.'
79. `Just, Vàseññha, as a mighty trumpeter makes himself heard and that without difficulty in all the four directions ; even so of all things that have shape or life, there is not one that he passes by or leaves aside, but regards them all with mind set free, and deep-felt pity, sympathy, equanimity.'
`Verily this, Vàseññha, is the way to a state of union with Brahmà.'
80. `Now what think you, Vàseññha, will the Bhikkhu who lives thus be in possession of women and of wealth, or will he not?'
`He will not, Gotama!'
`Will he be full of anger, or free from anger?'
`He will be free from anger, Gotama!'
`Will his mind be full of malice, or free from malice?'
[\q 319/] `Free from malice, Gotama!'
`Will his mind be tarnished, or pure?'
`It will be pure, Gotama!'
`Will he have self-mastery, or will he not?'
`Surely he will, Gotama!'
81. `Then you say, Vàseññha, that the Bhikkhu is free from household and worldly cares, and that Brahmà is free from household and worldly cares. Is there then agreement and likeness between the Bhikkhu and Brahmà?'
`There is, Gotama!
`Very good, Vàseññha. Then in sooth, Vàseññha, that the Bhikkhu who is free from household cares should after death, when the body is dissolved, become united with Brahmà, who is the same such a condition of things is every way possible!'
`And so you say, Vàseññha, that the Bhikkhu is free from anger, and free from malice, pure in mind, and master of himself; and that Brahmà is free from anger, and free from malice, pure in mind, and master of himself. Then in sooth, Vàseññha, that the Bhikkhu who is free from anger, free from malice, pure in mind, and master of himself should after death, when the body is dissolved, become united with Brahmà, who is the sameÞsuch a condition of things is every way possible!'
82. When he hid thus spoken, the young. Brahmans Vàseññha and Bhàradvàja addressed the Blessed One, and said:
`Most excellent, Lord, are the words of thy mouth, Most excellent! Just as if a man were to set up that which is thrown down, or were to reveal that which is hidden away, or were to point out the right road to him who has gone astray, or were to bring a lamp into the darkness, so that those who have eyes can see external forms ;Þjust even so, Lord, has the truth been made known to us, in many a figure, by the Exalted One. And we, even we, betake ourselves, Lord, to the Blessed One as our guide, to the Truth, [\q 320/] and to the Brotherhood. May the Blessed One accept us as disciples, as true believers, from this day forth, as long as life endures!'

Guan Eng: Tap women power
As a politician you feel the urge to say things to please others and you perceive it is true and good when it incurs karma to be experienced as suffering for you.
This is not wise advice but foolish. You don’t perceive and encourage others to perceive women as convenient reservoirs of power to be tapped and so to speak thus is to speak foolishly with karma due.
Right at the heart of a being’s suffering:
Do not underestimate the crucial importance of the universal incessant use of force to stretch (as in syllables), change speed and strength of force (as in loudness) which is the basis of the being’s style or how he does or says things because it is right at the heart of a being’s sufferings that he only struggles to control but is doomed to spin out of control driving him up the wall to homicide or suicide.
By realizing and putting to a stop all use of force to stretch, change speed and loudness the person is freed from the following sufferings:

1. Insoluble constantly renewing stress, restlessness and inability to concentrate due to his incessant, unnecessary for show use of force that wastes prodigious energy.
2. Freedom from being enslaved as a robot because the consistent substance and style combo requires memorization and reproducing from memory the stereotypic combo that is his hallmark. A person who is a robot is not a master of himself but it is his mental jukebox or parrot that is responsible for all his actions and speech and this jukebox is subject to corruption or degradation and thence mad inappropriate robotic speech and actions.
3. Sadness, hurt, confusion or agitation and fear are all the by products of the use of force to fashion style. The use of force to stretch or prolong is the cause of sadness that descends into depression, the acceleration in speed and strength of force is the cause of hurt that all stylish people must suffer from.
4. Liking and disliking or the attractive or repulsive stirring of a person’s mental force are both in truth suffering, totally unnecessary and they too are by products of the constant use of force to fashion style or prolonging, changing speed and strength of force. Not only are liking and disliking suffering not the pleasure they are made to be, it is actually the person’s false force based understanding of things happening and dangerous blind force based motivation to do or say things.

THUS FREED OF THE CONSTANT USE OF FORCE TO STRETCH, CHANGE SPEED AND STRENGTH OF FORCE, THE PERSON IS RELEASED FROM STRESS, RESTLESSNESS, INABILITY TO CONCENTRATE, HE SPEAKS AND DOES THINGS LIVE SPECIFIC TO EACH OCCASION RATHER THAN REHASHING BY ROTE, HE IS EFFORTLESSLY RELEASED FROM SADNESS, HURT, CONFUSION AND FEAR AND HE NO LONGER ACTS AND SPEAKS DRIVEN BY DANGEROUS BLIND FORCE BASED LIKE OR DISLIKE.
NO ONE HAS POINTED TO YOU THE UNIVERSAL PRESENCE OF THE USE OF FORCE TO STRETCH (EG SYLLABLES), CHANGE SPEED AND STRENGTH OF FORCE (LOUDNESS) AND THIS IS THE CRUCIAL BASIS OF THE MANY ILLS THAT BESET BEINGS HERE AND THREATEN TO DRIVE THEM UP THE WALL. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE ITS SIGNIFICANCE, FAILURE TO EXIT STYLE OR USING FORCE TO PROLONG, CHANGE SPEED AND STRENGTH WILL DOOM YOU TO EVEN ANOTHER ETERNITY OF NEEDLESS TORMENT.
Force is his understanding and basis of action:
When a person sees or hears something and he likes it, ‘like’ is his understanding of what he sees or hears. Because like is merely the blind meaningless attractive stirring of his mental force, blind meaningless stirring of his mental force is his false and dangerous blind understanding of what he sees or hears and he is in danger of being deceived or even killed because his understanding is false.
Similarly when a person dislikes what he sees or hears, disliking (anger, hate) is his blind dangerous understanding of what he hears or sees.
When a person is stirred by like or dislike to do or say something, his action or speech is based on a blind meaningless stirring of mental force and this is always dangerous because he is driven to say or do things by something that is blind, stirred mental force.
THUS STIRRED MENTAL FORCE OR LIKING OR DISLIKING ARE NOT MERE ORNAMENTS OR BYSTANDERS, WHEN STIRRED, THEY ARE THE PERSON’S FALSE UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT HE SEES OR HEARS, WHEN LIKE OR DISLIKE DRIVES HIM TO SAY OR DO CERTAIN THINGS, IT IS BLIND DANGEROUS FORCE THAT IS THE SOURCE OF HIS ACTION OR SPEECH.
THUS BECAUSE EMOTIONAL PEOPLE LIKE AND DISLIKE WHAT THEY SEE OR HEAR AND THEY ARE DRIVEN BY LIKE AND DISLIKE TO SAY OR DO THINGS, THEY HAVE FALSE UNDERSTANDING OF THINGS AND THE BASIS OF THEIR ACTIONS AND SPEECH IS STIRRED DANGEROUS BLIND FORCE.
(Thus when someone says I smile because I like someone, he is saying he smiled because his mental force is stirred attractively by someone, he understands someone as stirring his mental force and stirred mental force is the basis of his action to smile).
What is happening when a person is sad or hurt:
Whenever you use your mental force (of going against self) to prolong as in ‘aaaahhh’ instead of ‘ah’ you are conditioning your mental force to prolong and is it any surprise that after lifelong countless training of your mental force to prolong to fashion your desirable style, it has a strong tendency to automatically prolong even for no reason?
When a person experience sadness, his mental force is prolonging, without his mental force prolonging there can be no sadness. He may try to mobilize or stir his mental force of self preservation to resist or stop the mental force of going against self from hurting him with unpleasant sadness, sometimes the strength of prolonging is so strong, it cannot be stopped, sometimes the mental force of self preservation may succeed momentarily to stop the prolonging and thence sadness but it is only a temporary respite.
THUS WHENEVER SOMEONE IS EXPERIENCING SADNESS IT IS BECAUSE HIS MENTAL FORCE OF GOING AGAINST SELF IS PROLONGING TRIGGERED BY AN EVENT AS IT IS FOND OF DOING AFTER LIFELONG CONDITIONING TO PROLONG IN THE NAME OF STYLE. BECAUSE SADNESS IS UNPLEASANT THE PERSON NATURALLY RESISTS AND HE MOBILIZES HIS MENTAL FORCE OF SELF PRESERVATION TO TRY WITH SOME OR NO SUCCESS TO STOP HIS MENTAL FORCE OF GOING AGAINST SELF FROM PROLONGING BUT HE IS A DOOMED MAN, SUCH RESISTANCE IS IN VAIN AND AS HE GROWS OLD HE BECOMES INCREASINGLY PRONE TO SADNESS THAT BECOMES MORE INTENSE TO DESCEND INTO DEPRESSION.
In the same way when a person accelerates in speed and strength to fashion his stylish speech and actions, he is training his mental force of going against self to become very good at accelerating in speed and strength such that it is involuntarily triggered by something said or done (eg girl says “I don’t love you anymore”) so that he experiences even shearing or stabbing mental pain which he can try to hide or resist by mobilizing his force of self preservation to try stop his mental force of going against self from continuing to accelerate wildly in speed and strength as a result of the hurtful words. Each time he experiences hurt he is training himself to experience hurt so that his hurt becomes more intense and malignant as he ages and he is headed for tormenting hurt.
Nurturing inner strength:
In their efforts to impress others, people often say things that are difficult if not impossible for themselves to see except by forcing themselves.
How do you differentiate between inner and outer strength, do they exist or only in the figment of your imagination?
Further strength is what emotional people worship and it is false and meaningless. You need strength to resist and bear and that is stressful. What is far more if not incomparably important is seeing and understanding. A person who sees and understands everything he faces does not need strength to resist or bear. He avoids whatever is stressful as evil, if you did not have ambition (greed) and deny yourself as Jesus commanded, why do you need inner or outer strength?
Force is always suffering and so anyone who nurtures strength, be it inner or outer is flirting with torment.
The nature of sadness:
Sadness is the tendency (as a result of conditioning) of the person’s mental force to prolong as a result of something negative happening that he is unable to shake off. Because he cannot let ago, he keeps reminding or revisiting that negative event that unfailingly triggers that prolonging and so he is conditioning himself to fall deeper and deeper into the tentacles of sadness.
SADNESS IS THE TENDENCY OF A PERSON’S MENTAL FORCE TO PROLONG AS A RESULT OF SOME NEGATIVE EVENT THAT HE CANNOT SHAKE OFF AND KEEPS REVISITING TO INCITE THE PROLONGING. SADNESS IS ADDICTIVE AND NOT ONLY IS IT UNPLEASANT BUT IT INCREASINGLY CONDITIONS THE FOOL TO SADNESS UNTIL IT TRANSFORMS INTO THE DARK PIT OF DEPRESSION.
Sadness is a noose round the neck:
If a noose was to be placed around your neck and periodically tightened to painful even suffocating levels and it is possible for you to remove it, would you not strive with your might and remove it at the earliest opportunity?
Yet people do not realize sadness is a noose, they even periodically enjoy mild to moderate sadness, comfort, recommend and maintain each other in sadness saying it is understandable and OK.
ONLY THE PERSON WHO SEES SADNESS AS A DANGEROUS NOOSE AROUND HIS NECK THAT WILL BECOME HARDER AND HARDER TO REMOVE AND WORKS SWIFTLY TO EXPEL THAT NOOSE FROM HIS NECK HAS RIGHT VIEW. IF YOU TOLERATE AND ENJOY SADNESS IT WILL KILL YOU ONEDAY AND SEND YOU TO PERDITION. SADNESS IS EVIL AND CONDITIONED FALSE SUFFERING, DELUSIONAL AND SHOULD BE SWEPT OUT OF THE MIND.
The stirring of mental force is a major basis of action:
It is not force itself but a stirring of force in a person’s mind that can only be like (excitement, lust, greed, attraction, pride), dislike (anger, hate, jealousy, disdain), sadness, hurt, agitation or confusion and fear that is a major basis for people to retrieve and activate previously recorded actions and speeches in their mental jukeboxes.
Thus when you say I smile because I like the person, you are unwittingly admitting that it is the blind stirring of mental force or liking not genuine understanding that is the basis of your action in smiling.
AN OCCASION TRIGGERS THE STIRRING OF AN EMOTIONAL PERSON’S MENTAL FORCE SO THAT HE EXPERIENCES LIKE, DISLIKE, SADNESS, HURT, AGITATION OR FEAR AND IT IS THESE TRIGGERED EMOTIONS THAT THEN DRIVES HIM TO SELECT AND PLAY PRE-RECORDED SPEECH AND ACTIONS FROM HIS VAST LIBRARY IN HIS MENTAL JUKEBOX. IT IS NOT FORCE PER SE BUT THE STIRRING OF HIS MENTAL FORCE AS THE SIX DIFFERENT EMOTIONS THAT DRIVES A PERSON TO SAY OR DO THINGS AND BECAUSE IT IS THE STIRRING OF FORCE THAT IS THE BASIS OF THEIR ACTIONS, IT IS BLIND AND DANGEROUS, A RECIPE FOR DISASTER OR FATALITY SOONER OR LATER.
THE OTHER BASES OF ACTIONS ARE AUTOMATISM AND REHASHED FALSE RULES OR PROGRAMMED LOGIC. OFTEN THE SIGHT OR SOUND OF CERTAIN CUES TRIGGER CERTAIN ACTIONS OR SPEECH AUTOMATICALLY, THE PERSON ALWAYS SAYS OR DOES CERTAIN THINGS IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS AND THAT IS AUTOMATISM AND IT IS MINDLESS.
SOMETIMES WHEN A SITUATION IS MORE UNUSUAL AND THE PERSON IS UNCERTAIN AS TO WHAT TO SAY OR DO, HE REFERS TO HIS PROGRAMMED RULES LOGIC AND THERE MAY BE MANY DIFFERENT PROGRAMMING THAT CONFLICT APPLICABLE TO THE SITUATION AND HE SELECTS THE RULE HE THINKS BEST MATCHES OR IS MOST SELF ADVANTAGEOUS TO APPLY TO THE SITUATION. OBEYING THAT RULE, HE SPEAKS AND ACTS ACCORDING TO WHAT THAT RULE INSTRUCTS HIM.
IT IS NEVER GENUINE SPECIFIC TO EACH SITUATION UNDERSTANDING THAT IS THE BASIS OF STYLISH EMOTIONAL PEOPLE’S SPEECH AND ACTIONS. THEY HAVE NO TRUE UNDERSTANDING, ONLY AUTOMATISM, STIRRED MENTAL FORCE AND PROGRAMMED RULES LOGIC AS THE BASES FOR THEIR ACTIONS.
Whence is there inner and outer strength?
A person’s mind has only two mental forces; the force of going against self that is the drive of all activities of the person and these can only be perceiving (seeing, hearing, smelling, touching, tasting), thinking, speaking and doing and the force of self preservation that acts in the opposite direction to oppose and arrest the force of going against self in its actions when it is becoming dangerous.
Both forces have strength that can be developed and differ from individual to individual.
THERE IS NOTHING INNER OR OUTER ABOUT THE STRENGTHS OF THE FORCES OF GOING AGAINST SELF AND SELF PRESERVATION, IT MERELY HAS STRENGTH WHICH IS NOT TO BE WORSHIPPED BECAUSE THE STRONGER YOUR MENTAL FORCES, THE MORE IT DICTATES YOUR ACTIONS BLINDLY AND THE MORE PAINFUL YOUR SUFFERINGS. YOU NEED FORCE TO SUFFER AND THE STRONGER YOUR MENTAL FORCE, THE GREATER YOUR CAPACITY TO EXPERIENCE PAIN, THE MORE PAIN YOU FEEL.
THUS TO SPEAK OF INNER STRENGTH IS TO TRY TO BE TOO CLEVER, TO LAPSE INTO FALSITY IN THE NAME OF IMPRESSING OTHERS WITH YOUR INTELLECTUALITY.
If by outer strength you mean for show, faked strength to impress others and inner strength you mean concealed, true sustaining strength then you are seeing things and deluded, because there is nothing true or good about force or strength. All strength inner or outer leads to suffering and in truth there may be no such thing as inner and outer strength.
