That may be a false understanding of the situation, not only is it valueless but sowing for greater future woe.
Times are bad and like alcoholics seeking fresh sources to sustain their addiction, with traditional markets for profit down, bankers are seeking to make a killing by trading currencies, mobilizing their deposits to bet on currency movements to make profit.
There is nothing productive about it, no useful products are produced or gained from such speculations, it is making and losing money from each other that is not without dangers, the artificial surges in demand for a currency eg yuan or yen or precipitate exit even shorting (selling currency you don’t have) can magnify a crisis and ‘bring nations to their knees’. For instance recently the yen strengthened considerably against the USD that may have speculative inputs and this unrealistic rise can cripple Japanese exports.

Currency trading for profit is controlled insanity:
You can trade currency meaningfully or meaninglessly just for profit (or loss).
If you need to import some goods and thus buy USD for the purpose that is useful trading of currency that is sustainable and will not result in madness.
If you buy a foreign currency merely to speculate, because others are doing so and hope to profit when the currency appreciates, you are practicing controlled insanity that will end in insanity.

If you did not see and know what you say is true, God did not create the universe and you say so perhaps out of delusion, you are asking for punishment, even if you turn out to be correct. It is impossible Hawking is speaking out of seeing and knowing because he was not there to see the creation and so he is speaking either emotionally as a result of repulsion or he worked it out intellectually either by thinking or mathematical calculations. No thinking or mathematical calculations can prove or disprove God created the universe and so he is either deluded or driven by ill will, perhaps his suffering has driven him to bitterness (when it may be well deserved karma of past misdeeds).

The relationship of God and the universe:
God and His relationship with the universe may be compared to the spider and the web.
The web is the creation of the spider but it is not the spider and there is no life in the web. Similarly this universe is the creation of God but it is not God and God is apart from the universe which has no life in it. Just as the spider created the web and nobody else, God created the universe and at any moment he can alter the universe eg by creating unlimited supplies of fresh bread out of nothing or He can cause objects or persons to silently immediately disappear or reappear as the Buddha can.
What has God to do with science or philosophy?
Why is Hawking and so many scientists so eager to answer the question whether God exists or He created the Universe which are out of their realm of competence? It cannot be out of reason but it is out of hostility (emotion or force), resentment, a wish to use one’s presumed authority as scientists or investigators of ‘truth’ to debunk or dismiss God.
Science is a product of thought and perceptions and it is a dead end, a trap and will not lead the being to truth and release from suffering. It is the disowning and disenchantment with thinking leading to the cessation of all thinking to perceive purely, see purely without intervening disrupting thought that will reveal the truth.
YOU DON’T NEED TO THINK TO SEE AND KNOW THE TRUTH. WHAT YOU NEED IS TO SEE TRULY WITHOUT ACCOMPANYING FORCE. SEEING TRULY YOU KNOW TRULY. SEEING WITH FORCE AND PROGRAMMING YOU NEVER SEE TRULY AND NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU AUGMENT YOUR FALSE FORCE ACCOMPANIED SEEING, YOU WILL NEVER SEE TRUTH THROUGH YOUR DISTORTED LENS OF SIGHT AND THOUGHT.
Philosophy is playing with thoughts and ideas or concepts just as poetry is playing with words and art playing with images. If it is true as is likely if not certainly, banks are increasingly looking to foreign exchange trading to make profits then it reflects the lack of accountability by them and permissiveness of authorities to allow them to do so.

Forex trading is still a gamble and you can lose just as you can win, even with insider information there is risk. You can legitimately trade in forex for commercial purpose or you can switch currencies just to profit from potential forex rate movements and in the latter case it is a false reason for buying or selling currencies, it is gambling and no banks taking deposits from the public should have the conscience to do so nor should authorities permit them to do so.
Seeing, knowing and rehashing:

God did not create the Universe says Hawking.
Does he mean God exists but He did not create the Universe or does Hawking mean there is no God and so God did not create the universe? If that is the case, he did not say what he meant which is that there is no God rather than God (exists but) did not create the universe.

THERE NEED NOT BE A NUCLEAR EXPLOSION IF GOD CAUSES A CD TO DISAPPEAR (MASS DESTROYED).

I had personal experience of a CD disappearing (which I confirmed by a thorough examination and search) and then many months later, I had a hunch it may have returned and then retrieving the CD set from amongst many in a locked cabinet, I found the missing CD in its case amongst three others in pristine condition.
Again which thief would break in to a place where no one has access except me and switch CD players from one table to another and remove a big sticker from one DVD player? There was no sign of entry and I am the only one with access to the flat.

How God creates:
God may not need time or deliberation or planning or thought and effort to create nor does it disturb reality by the introduction (or removal) of new mass as mandated by physics.

If God can bring the dead back alive, the Buddha can restore the eye of the nun who gouged it out to discourage a lust driven pursuer, it is possible for God to create, restore what has been shattered instantly.
If God wished, He can not only create a Ferrari as good as the latest Ferrari but He can create a Ferrari far superior in performance and design than the latest Ferrari.

WITHOUT ACHIEVING THE FIRST HIGHER STATE OF MIND (FREEDOM OF STYLE WHICH ACCORDS THE BEING ONE ETERNITY IN HEAVEN) YOU CANNOT ATTAIN THE SECOND HIGHER STATE (CESSATION OF THINKING THAT GIVES TWO ETERNITIES IN HEAVEN), THIRD (NEITHER LIKING NOR DISLIKING THAT GIVES 4 ETERNITIES IN HEAVEN) AND THE FOURTH HIGHER STATE (NEITHER PAIN NOR PLEASURE THAT GIVES 500 ETERNITIES IN HEAVEN).

No other salvation:

Because what you say influences others you are only entitled to say what you see and know is true. If you did not see and know what you say is true, God did not create the universe and you say so perhaps out of delusion, you are asking for punishment, even if you turn out to be correct. If you did not see and know as true and speak you are guessing and that is dicing with doubt and uncertainty that ends in madness.
ONLY WHEN YOU SEE AND KNOW WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE ARE YOU ON SAFE GROUNDS, IF YOU DID NOT SEE AND KNOW AND YOU SPEAK, YOU ARE COURTING DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY THAT WILL END IN TORMENT FOR YOU, EVEN IF YOU TURN OUT TO BE CORRECT.
It is impossible Hawking is speaking out of seeing and knowing because he was not there to see the creation and so he is speaking either emotionally as a result of repulsion or he worked it out intellectually either by thinking or mathematical calculations. No thinking or mathematical calculations can prove or disprove God created the universe and so he is either deluded or driven by ill will, perhaps his suffering has driven him to bitterness (when it may be well deserved karma of past misdeeds).
HAWKING IS SPEAKING FOOLISHLY UNNECESSARILY AND BEING AN EMINENT SCIENTIST MAKES HIS KARMA GREATER. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE BY THINKING OR EMOTION TO KNOW IF GOD DID OR DID NOT CREATE THE UNIVERSE AND SO HE HAS NO RIGHT TO SAY SO.
The relationship of God and the universe:
God and His relationship with the universe may be compared to the spider and the web.
The web is the creation of the spider but it is not the spider and there is no life in the web. Similarly this universe is the creation of God but it is not God and God is apart from the universe which has no life in it. Just as the spider created the web and nobody else, God created the universe and at any moment he can alter the universe eg by creating unlimited supplies of fresh bread out of nothing or He can cause objects or persons to silently immediately disappear or reappear as the Buddha can.
What has God to do with science or philosophy?
Why is Hawking and so many scientists so eager to answer the question whether God exists or He created the Universe which are out of their realm of competence? It cannot be out of reason but it is out of hostility (emotion or force), resentment, a wish to use one’s presumed authority as scientists or investigators of ‘truth’ to debunk or dismiss God.
Science is a product of thought and perceptions and it is a dead end, a trap and will not lead the being to truth and release from suffering. It is the disowning and disenchantment with thinking leading to the cessation of all thinking to perceive purely, see purely without intervening disrupting thought that will reveal the truth.
YOU DON’T NEED TO THINK TO SEE AND KNOW THE TRUTH. WHAT YOU NEED IS TO SEE TRULY WITHOUT ACCOMPANYING FORCE. SEEING TRULY YOU KNOW TRULY. SEEING WITH FORCE AND PROGRAMMING YOU NEVER SEE TRULY AND NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU AUGMENT YOUR FALSE FORCE ACCOMPANIED SEEING, YOU WILL NEVER SEE TRUTH THROUGH YOUR DISTORTED LENS OF SIGHT AND THOUGHT.
Philosophy is playing with thoughts and ideas or concepts just as poetry is playing with words and art playing with images. If it is the truth it is not called playing and if it is playing it is not the truth and hence philosophy is false, a dead end that ends with insanity like poetry, art and sculpture.

If it is true as is likely if not certainly, banks are increasingly looking to foreign exchange trading to make profits then it reflects the lack of accountability by them and permissiveness of authorities to allow them to do so.
It has been reported that forex trading has increased 20% recently to 4 trillion USD daily. Forex trading is still a gamble and you can lose just as you can win, even with insider information there is risk. Banks are using depositors or borrowed money to gamble on the forex market and it is recklessness on their parts and shirking responsibility on government parts to allow them to do so.
You can legitimately trade in forex for commercial purpose or you can switch currencies just to profit from potential forex rate movements and in the latter case it is a false reason for buying or selling currencies, it is gambling and no banks taking deposits from the public should have the conscience to do so nor should authorities permit them to do so.
Seeing, knowing and rehashing:
These three entities are separate and should not be confused with each other, nor are they interchangeable or merge into each other.

Does he mean God exists but He did not create the Universe or does Hawking mean there is no God and so God did not create the universe? If that is the case, he did not say what he meant which is that there is no God rather than God (exists but) did not create the universe.
Not only does God exists but He is not restricted in his creation and mankind has a false or deluded understanding of what creation is about.

THUS AT ANY TIME WITHOUT CREATING EVEN A RIPPLE, GOD CAN CREATE UNLIMITED FRESH BREAD, CAUSE ITEMS TO APPEAR OR DISAPPEAR. THERE NEED NOT BE A NUCLEAR EXPLOSION IF GOD CAUSES A CD TO DISAPPEAR (MASS DESTROYED).

I had personal experience of a CD disappearing (which I confirmed by a thorough examination and search) and then many months later, I had a hunch it may have returned and then retrieving the CD set from amongst many in a locked cabinet, I found the missing CD in its case amongst three others in pristine condition.
Again which thief would break in to a place where no one has access except me and switch CD players from one table to another and remove a big sticker from one DVD player? There was no sign of entry and I am the only one with access to the flat.

How God creates:
God may not need time or deliberation or planning or thought and effort to create nor does it disturb reality by the introduction (or removal) of new mass as mandated by physics.

PETALING JAYA: Several groups are up in arms over a proposal to cut housing loans by 10% from the current cap of 90%, saying that the move will only discourage Malaysians from buying houses.Not only would it be responsible & correct to raise the mortgage cap to 20% but people should be scrutinized for ability to service their loans because it is people’s money lent that is at stake.

When considering lending be it lowering interest rates or making more credit available by lowering statutory reserves, etc, the economy is never a consideration, what is relevant is whether money has been lent responsibly, the borrowers will be able to return it and they are borrowing for useful purposes eg setting up a viable factory or business, not borrowing to feather their nests or live luxuriously.
BECAUSE MONEY LENT BELONGS TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE ENTRUSTED MONEY TO YOU, THE KEY CRITERIA FOR LENDING IS SAFETY, THAT BORROWERS CAN REPAY AND THEY ARE BORROWING FOR USEFUL PRODUCTIVE PURPOSES. THE WEAK ECONOMY IS NOT A CONSIDERATION.

If banks and regulators had maintained strict credit standards, this crisis would not have come about because it is impossible for system threatening defaults without lax credit environment. If most or all borrowers are good credit risks, how could there be this subprime mess amongst other messes?
Now that there is this huge smelly mess, authorities reflecting their delusion and lunacy, is trying to cure it by opening the gates to unfettered credit, throwing credit standards to the wind. What does this achieve? Bankers now use money to play on the money market, to speculate or gamble to make money by forex movements and this is another bubble that will end in added woe or disaster.

What is this crucial fundamental thing to get right?
It is the identification and elimination of style or the constant unconscious automated use of force to stretch or prolong, change speed and strength that is the source of insoluble renewing totally unnecessary stress, restlessness and inability to concentrate that detains one in the ordinary emotional (liking, disliking, sad, hurt, agitated, fearful) force dominated state of mind. This is how one is truly born again, to be rid of one’s evil defiling style that harms self and others.
Once a person successfully sheds his style, he is imbued with serenity of mind and body that is not of this world that is the first higher state of mind and he is discerning, seeing things clearly as they truly are and thus truly seeing, understanding truly whatever is presented to him.
The first higher state characterized by the complete elimination of style or use of force to stretch (syllables), change speed and loudness is the gateway to the second higher mental state, the fully conscious cessation of thinking which in turn is the gateway to the cessation of neither liking nor disliking (neither stirring one’s mental force attractively or repulsively at whatever one perceives) which is the gateway to the fourth higher state of experiencing neither pain nor pleasure (500 eternities in heaven).
WITHOUT ACHIEVING THE FIRST HIGHER STATE OF MIND (FREEDOM OF STYLE WHICH ACCORDS THE BEING ONE ETERNITY IN HEAVEN) YOU CANNOT ATTAIN THE SECOND HIGHER STATE (CESSATION OF THINKING THAT GIVES TWO ETERNITIES IN HEAVEN), THIRD (NEITHER LIKING NOR DISLIKING THAT GIVES 4 ETERNITIES IN HEAVEN) AND THE FOURTH HIGHER STATE (NEITHER PAIN NOR PLEASURE THAT GIVES 500 ETERNITIES IN HEAVEN).
And whoever is the counsellor Jesus described must say this if he is to teach you all things and be of benefit to you and if I have said so, I have superseded him.

Emotional people think they have understanding but what they have is programming, they must be programmed with whatever they are required to speak or do and when they are successfully programmed and can juggle with the multitude of programming in their mental jukeboxes they think they understand when they perceive falsely.
THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE INCLUDING THOSE WHO THINK THEY ARE VERY GOOD AND CLEVER WHO FALL INTO THE CATEGORY OF THOSE WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND, SEEING THEY DO NOT SEE OR LIKE THE SPOON AND THE SOUP, DAY IN AND DAY OUT THE SPOON IS IN CONTACT WITH THE SOUP BUT IT NEVER KNOWS THE TASTE OF THE SOUP.
JESUS SAID HE SPOKE TO THEM IN PARABLES BECAUSE THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND AND SO ORDINARY PEOPLE HAVE NO UNDERSTANDING.
No other salvation:
Style or the constant use of force to stretch syllables, change speed and loudness is the way of this world and it is at the heart of self and other suffering that reaches tormenting levels and there is no other way, no other salvation than to clearly recognize and exit all use of force to stretch syllables, change speed and loudness.
Without exiting style one cannot find salvation and escape from suffering by exercise, Tai Chi, yoga, health foods or whatever you might nominate.
WITHOUT EXITING STYLE THERE CAN BE NO SALVATION OR MEANINGFUL PERMANENT EXIT FROM SUFFERING.
IF YOU THINK YOU CAN REMAIN IN STYLE AND EXPERIENCE RELEASE FROM SUFFERING THROUGH WHATEVER PURSUIT YOU MIGHT NOMINATE EG CHANTING PRAYERS, YOGA, EXERCISE, YOU ARE DELUDED AND HAVE FALSE PERCEPTION.
