If by religion you mean morality or truth and falsity, good or bad according to the muslim, Christian or Buddhist models, then do you mean to say that politics is so special, is exempt from morality, truth and falsity or evil? If something is classified as politics, then it is exempt from considerations of morality and thus religion? If politics is not so special that it is exempt from considerations of morality then religion must be mixed with politics, must come into consideration in politics and so you are speaking falsely.
Further the statement is an indiscriminate not a specific to the occasion statement. Thus when imans in mosques speak out against the ruling elite, it might be said by those aligned with the ruling elite, ‘don’t mix politics with religion’ but this is a totally unnecessary conclusion or illogic.

In Islam you have the political schism between Shiites and Sunnis, Christianity has been splintered into many political denominations like Catholics, Methodists, Presbyterians, Lutherans, etc, and in Buddhism, the Mahayanas, Hinayana, Zen, Devotional, Tibetan and many others.

‘Don’t mix politics with religion’ is a command that people either obey or not and so the person who speaks thus wants others to be a mindless robot of his dictate with karma to be experienced as future suffering for wanting others to be a robot of his dictate, ‘don’t mix politics with religion’.

Can he or anyone answer truthfully that question? If no one can answer why is he posing the question?
It is never true reason that is the basis of that question but it is force in the form of greed or attractive stirring of mental force that drives him to pose the question that is deadly for him because he is delving in doubt and uncertainty himself and encouraging others to join in.
It may be greed in the form of preserving his assets (eg he owns Apple shares or want to buy Apple shares) that drives him to ask the question so that he can preserve or increase his wealth.
It may be idle interest or curiosity that is simply an attractive stirring of his mental force that may drive him to pose the question.
HE SHOULD KNOW HE CANNOT ANSWER THE QUESTION HE POSES AND SO WHY IS HE POSING THE QUESTION? IT IS NOT REASON BUT FORCE, STIRRED CURIOSITY OR DESIRE TO KNOW WHAT HE CANNOT KNOW BECAUSE OF VESTED INTERESTS (EG PROTECT HIS APPLE INVESTMENTS). AS A RESULT HE IS BONDING HIMSELF TO DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY, DELUDING HE CAN KNOW WHAT HE CANNOT KNOW FOR SURE AND HE HAS DEBT BY POSING THE QUESTION OF WANTING OTHERS TO SIMILARLY EMBRACE DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY OF TRYING TO ANSWER WHAT THEY CANNOT ANSWER.
IT IS NOT HARMLESS POSING THE QUESTION, EVEN DEADLY SUFFERING AWAITS HIM AND THOSE WHO ANSWERS HIS BIDDING.
True and false questions:
Before you answer any questions posed to you, the first thing is to determine whether the question is true or false.
A true question is one where there is a true answer or the questioner or you can answer.
A false question has ulterior motive (eg ask you what car you drive to determine your status), is a question neither he nor you can answer or is frivolous.
You are a fool courting vexations even insanity to treat as genuine and strive to answer (as best you could) a question that is loaded or false.
Thus whether Apple can thrive without Job is a false question that he and no one can answer.

Fascination like infatuation is not about substance but attractive stirring of mental force. There is no true reason why Job should stir anyone’s mental force attractively.
If you want to speak reasonably, you should speak of or list Job’s qualities or attributes or achievements or capabilities, to tell others why he is so fascinating demonstrates no understanding of what he is talking about.

Anxiety, worry and eagerness are signs of greed:
Only a greedy person will be anxious, riven by anxiety and worry and show eagerness and be eager, a person who is not greedy cannot be anxious, worry or be eager about anything.
THUS IF YOU CAN BE ANXIOUS, WORRY AND SHOW EAGERNESS THEN YOU ARE GREEDY AND IT IS A WARNING OF DANGER, FUTURE EVEN DEADLY SUFFERING.
Without stirring your mental force you cannot be anxious, worry or be eager. Greedy is merely the attractive stirring of a person’s mental force to want to acquire, to seek and acquire sources of sensual pleasures and material gain, to be calculating (what is in it for me and how can I maximize my gains and pleasures).
The greedy person is a slave of his mental force, his mental force is stirred attractively at contact with sources of sensual pleasure and material gain and thus stirred he activates recorded programs that are characteristic of him and differ from others to seek, enjoy or acquire those sources of pleasure and gain (money, gold, property, shares) that is again typical of him and differ from others.
Because greed is a stirring of mental force that is blind, meaningless and stressful, the greedy person is tormented, increasingly at the mercy of his greed, not a master of himself and subject to whims that he must irresistibly fulfil and struggle to control, even if he is successful he is not happy for long and if his greed is thwarted he is shattered.
5. "And what is the root of the unwholesome? Greed is a root of the unwholesome; hate is a root of the unwholesome; delusion is a root of the unwholesome. This is called the root of the unwholesome.
6. "And what is the wholesome? Wanting is greed:
If you want, you are greedy, if you don’t want you are not greedy.
The Buddha spoke of having few wants and so it is the person with few wants is the person who is not greedy and the person of many wants is the greedy man.
Thus the greedy fool is demanding, he wants this and this and this whilst the non greedy man is content, satisfied with his few possessions and simple pleasures.
