The implication of Najib’s for show court appearance:
Apparently Najib attended court in relation to Anwar’s sodomy trial but he refused to be interviewed. He said he respected the law but his appearance to refuse being interview makes a mockery of his respect for the law. What is the use of appearing in court and refusing to be interviewed, it is for show then, to make appear to respect the law without respecting in substance.
However his refusal to be interviewed is a tacit acknowledgement that what transpired in his meetings with Saiful was not above board.

Admitting one’s own dishonesty:
If someone says he will attend court because he respects the law and then he refuses to testify he is actually exposing his own dishonesty or deceit in the eyes of those who understand. The global stock markets may be cornered or controlled by powerful big sharks using criminal high frequency trading that disadvantages others with the purpose of making a lot of money by predatory means without concern for wellbeing of the system and one day these criminals may overdo it and cause a crash that kills everyone.
Authorities ‘know’ what high frequency trading is doing and they are looking into whether such traders are engaging in criminal behaviour when it is clear to one with true understanding that high frequency trading is entirely criminal and dangerous, potentially triggering a irretrievable collapse.

Wedbush estimated the firms have made up 75 percent of American equity volume in August. They have boosted trading in shares of Apple Inc. (AAPL), Google Inc., Bank of America Corp. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. since early July (and so the price of Apple may be artificially boosted by HFT or manipulated for vested interests).
Regulatory Probe
U.S. prosecutors have joined a regulatory investigation into whether some high-speed traders are manipulating markets by posting and immediately canceling waves of rapid-fire orders, two officials said in April. (you do not need investigation, such practices are clearly predatory and should be banned and its perpetrators charged)
Algorithms, or strategies that execute bigger orders by breaking them into smaller pieces and sending them to different exchanges, (concealing the single source of the trade, another deception ploy) also use high-frequency techniques. Mutual, pension and hedge funds employ algorithms built by brokers or vendors to automate some of their trading instead of manually placing orders in markets or turning to humans to buy or sell blocks.
“The bulk of high frequency traders are adding liquidity (not liquidity but volume) to the marketplace,” Wedbush said. “Automated traders employ a myriad of strategies that seek to profit from a stock’s short- term volatility.

Are Britain and America turning Japanese?

The fall to record lows in the borrowing costs of the British and US governments shows that investors and creditors don’t want to take risks – and when investors don’t want to take risks, it’s hard for the economy to grow.
Just because UK & US are copying the Japanese does not mean they are turning Japanese, it is a totally unwarranted conclusion that is never harmless but trains yourself (and others who subscribe) to jump to false conclusions that will one day kill you or cause grievous losses.

Police tried to kill Anwar with tear gas shot?
Yusriah (Keadilan reporter) was being questioned over her picture of Anwar Ibrahim’s bodyguard, Fayyadh Afiq Albakqry, taken after he was hit in the face with a tear gas canister while shielding Anwar.
It appears a tear gas canister was aimed at Anwar and it was the bravery of his bodyguard that protected Anwar.

BBC suspended an UK company which had produced documentaries aired by the BBC that were favourable to Malaysia’s environmental image when it was discovered the company received millions from the Malaysian government. This UK company in turn paid fees to Apco.
The BBC has launched an investigation into how it broadcast to millions of people around the world programmes made by a company that had received millions of pounds in payments from the government of Malaysia.
It has suspended all programming from the London-based production company, FBC, which since 2009 has made at least four BBC documentaries dealing with Malaysia and controversial issues such as the country's contentious palm oil industry and its treatment of rainforests and indigenous people.
An investigation by The Independent has established that entries in the Malaysian government's Supplementary Budget 2010 show that FBC Media (UK) was allocated 28.35m Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) – nearly £6m – for work on a "Global Strategic Communications Campaign" ordered by the Malaysian government in 2009. A similar sum (MYR29.34m) was designated to the company the previous year. Concerns over the arrangements have been raised in the Malaysian parliament.
Documents filed with the United States government's House of Representatives in 2008 show that FBC Media (UK) contracted the Washington-based American lobbying company APCO Worldwide, which it paid more than US$80,000 (£50,000) in 2008 for the purpose of "raising awareness of the importance of policies in Malaysia that are pro-business and pro-investment as well as [showing] the significance of reform and anti-terrorism efforts in that country".

FBC, an UK company paid $28 million annually for 2 years by the Malaysian government, produced 4 films portraying Malaysia’s oil palm, forestry and treatment of indigenous people in favourable light that were screened by BBC and CNBC under the pretense it was objective, neutral. BBC assumed it was objective because FBC had signed agreements stating they were not paid by any vested parties.
FBC had a website that canvassed for business boasting they can do ‘special’ consultancy and publicity business for clients that could be screened by reputable high profile media companies like the BBC and CNBC. These offers were removed once their shenanigans were exposed.
THUS THERE EXIST VESTED MEDIA CONSULTANCY COMPANIES WHO PRODUCE FAKED DOCUMENTARIES THAT FAVOURABLY PORTRAY PAYING CLIENT COUNTRIES THAT ARE THEN CHANNELED FOR SCREENING BY SEEMINGLY REPUTABLE INDEPENDENT ORGANISATIONS LIKE THE BBC AND THE MAJOR AMERICAN NETWORKS.

BBC suspended an UK company which had produced documentaries aired by the BBC that were favourable to Malaysia’s environmental image when it was discovered the company received millions from the Malaysian government. This UK company in turn paid fees to Apco.
The BBC has launched an investigation into how it broadcast to millions of people around the world programmes made by a company that had received millions of pounds in payments from the government of Malaysia.
It has suspended all programming from the London-based production company, FBC, which since 2009 has made at least four BBC documentaries dealing with Malaysia and controversial issues such as the country's contentious palm oil industry and its treatment of rainforests and indigenous people.
An investigation by The Independent has established that entries in the Malaysian government's Supplementary Budget 2010 show that FBC Media (UK) was allocated 28.35m Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) – nearly £6m – for work on a "Global Strategic Communications Campaign" ordered by the Malaysian government in 2009. A similar sum (MYR29.34m) was designated to the company the previous year. Concerns over the arrangements have been raised in the Malaysian parliament.
Documents filed with the United States government's House of Representatives in 2008 show that FBC Media (UK) contracted the Washington-based American lobbying company APCO Worldwide, which it paid more than US$80,000 (£50,000) in 2008 for the purpose of "raising awareness of the importance of policies in Malaysia that are pro-business and pro-investment as well as [showing] the significance of reform and anti-terrorism efforts in that country".

FBC had a website that canvassed for business boasting they can do ‘special’ consultancy and publicity business for clients that could be screened by reputable high profile media companies like the BBC and CNBC. These offers were removed once their shenanigans were exposed.

A wake-up call for inefficient Asian carriers
THE decision by Qantas to start two new airlines based in Asia should be instructive to Asian airlines. The prospects of a major international aviation player entering the scene should set state-controlled airlines of Asia thinking, if not worrying.
It is not even a warning let alone a wake up call for inefficient Asian carriers and so what is said is a false interpretation or understanding of events.
What is happening may be a looming threat to inefficient Asian carriers and this is very different from a wake up call. No one is making any calls to wake up inefficient Asian airlines, it is a figment of his fabrication that has deadly consequences for him because he is training himself to perceive falsely, to see more than there is to a situation and it reflects the lack of true understanding of ordinary people that they see nothing wrong, see it as apt.
