'Uneasy'
market calm masks debt timebomb, BIS warns
Bank for International
Settlements (BIS) warns of emerging market vulnerabilities as investors remain
hooked on "every word and deed" of central banks
The
"uneasy calm" in financial markets could rapidly reverse as the US Federal Reserve's first tightening
cycle in a decade exposes fragilities in the new world order,
according to the Bank for International Settlements (BIS).
BIS data show the stock of dollar denominated debt
rose to $9.8 trillion (£6.5 trillion) in the second quarter of 2015, with
dollar credit to borrowers in emerging markets doubling since 2009 to more than
$3 trillion.
According
to the watchdog, total non-financial corporate debt in emerging markets,
including dollar borrowing, currently stands at $23.5 trillion.
"Weaker
financial market conditions combined with an increased sensitivity to US rates
may heighten the risk of negative spillovers to emerging market economies when
US policy is normalised," the BIS warned in its quarterly report.
"Any further appreciation of the dollar would
additionally test the debt servicing capacity of EME corporates, many of which
have borrowed heavily in US dollars in recent years."

The BIS said debt and debt servicing ratios in the so-called
BRICS of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa had climbed to levels
that traditionally signalled financial crises, despite the low interest rate
environment.
"Any
further appreciation of the dollar would additionally test the debt servicing
capacity of EME corporates, many of which have borrowed heavily in US dollars
in recent years," the BIS said.
Analysis
published by the BIS suggested total non-bank dollar denominated debt in
emerging markets could be around $600bn higher than its official estimate of
$3.8 trillion because BIS data do not take into account forward sales of dollars.
The
authors also highlighted key differences in dollar borrowing in emerging
markets, suggesting some countries were more exposed to a rising dollar than
others.
For
example, policymakers in Korea enacted laws in 2010 that encouraged dollar
bonds over dollar bank loans, which have a longer maturity than interbank
deposits. This reduced the risk of "sudden massive outflows" seen in
previous years.
The
International Monetary Fund (IMF) warned in October of a looming corporate credit crunch in
emerging markets.
A
quadrupling in total corporate debt to $18 trillion in the decade to 2014 had
been accompanied by weaker balance sheets, making companies more vulnerable to
US rate rises.

1MDB’S ACCOUNTS SHOULD ESTABLISH IF THERE ARE MONEY NOT ACCOUNTED FOR.

If it is true the remark
is evil and therefore should not be said why are you concerned with its danger?

Everything
happening can be determined even immediately by those who are discerning, who
understand as to whether it is a matter of memory or reason or meaning.
It is
important to know if something is a matter of memory because memory is mental
work and load and suffering and harms the mind and they are therefore to be
avoided or minimally undertaken, whatever is a matter of reason is true, not
suffering, happy and so is to be pursued and abided in.
How much
money you have in the bank, in your wallet, how much money you need to buy this
and that, where you parked your car, where is your house, which key opens which
lock are all matters of memory that never require understanding and the more
matters of memory that occupy you (because you are greedily preoccupied with
your life here), the more your memory system is worked, overworked, cluttered
and confused, you are prone to memory lapses or forgetting and ultimately your
memory system will be worn out and you face disaster with a worn memory system
in this world full of dangers.
ONLY THOSE
WHO ARE DISCERNING AND THUS POSSESS TRUE UNDERSTANDING CAN EFFORTLESSLY AND
CONSISTENTLY DETERMINE WHETHER A MATTER IS A MATTER OF MEMORY OR MEANING, THOSE
WHO DO NOT HAVE TRUE UNDERSTANDING BECAUSE THEY ARE FULL TIME ROBOTS DEPENDENT
ON THEIR MEMORY SYSTEM TO REHASH EVERYTHING THEY PERCEIVE, THINK, SAY AND DO,
CANNOT TELL IF A MATTER IS ABOUT MEMORY OR MEANING.
IT IS VERY
IMPORTANT TO TELL AND KNOW IF A MATTER IS OF MEMORY OR MEANING BECAUSE MATTERS

Memory is always evil, suffering and to be avoided:
Memories I
used to cherish of the past are now meaningless, of no interest for me. My
happiness does not depend on those memories nor are they any use to me.
People are
sentimental, they are hooked on their memories not realizing it is like opium
that is not only suffering but detain you to endless wandering with attendant death
and suffering after death.
DISCERNING,
UNDERSTANDING CLEARLY NOW, I DO NOT HAVE TO RESTRAIN MYSELF FROM BEING
SENTIMENTAL OR SEEKING MATTERS THAT ARE OF MEMORY, I SEE THEM AS SUFFERING, A
BURDEN, WHY WOULD A PERSON WHO KNOW HAPPINESS SEEK WHAT IS SUFFERING, EVIL,
WORK, MEMORY?
