They are totally absorbed in their work and petty lives here that totally revolve around memory, trying to get along to get what they want sensually and materially from others so their memory is switched on full time and their understanding switched off permanently.

The simultaneous substance and style combo divides, scatter their attention that becomes blur, unfocused so they cannot see the truth but just go about going through the motions automatically.

Too busy using memory to see the truth and understand:

All actions that include speech and thinking are merely joint ventures between blind memory and blind force and so if you are a person busy thinking, talking and doing things be it work to make money or fame or recreation like sports you are totally using blind memory and force all the time engaged in blind pure memory subjects so it is difficult if not impossible you should be able to see the truth and understand.

In order for anyone to see the truth and understand he must substantially reduce in amount and duration his use of memory, this means he must eliminate his style that makes him a total slave of his memory that dictates by replay everything he thinks, says and does.

STYLE IS THE FATHER OF DELUSION, ALL THOSE WHO HAVE STYLES ARE DELUDED AND UNLESS A PERSON ELIMINATES HIS STYLE HE IS A SLAVE OF HIS BLIND MEMORY THAT DICTATES BY REPLAY EVERYTHING HE THINKS, SAYS AND DOES RENDERING HIM BLIND, UNABLE TO SEE THE TRUTH AND THUS UNDERSTAND.

A person's style or prolonging words, changing speed and loudness is not only a lie because it is false, unnecessary and meaningless, only for show to stir others' emotions harmfully, it's the renewing insoluble source of the sadness, hurt, confusion, conflict, fear, stress, restlessness and distraction he must inflict on himself and all others and it is his style that will condemn him to at least another age of eternal punishment mostly in the animal world.

Because style is not lovely, not beneficial to others but it is the source of much suffering inflicted on others, it is a lie even the king and deadliest of lies a person can tell.

Seeking pain and pleasure are incompatible with understanding:

Many are proud of their physical strength and ability to withstand pain and this is wrong, delusion and a major reason why they cannot see the truth and understand. In addition they seek pleasure which is a product of blind force. They are seeking blind pleasure not seeking truth.

People are programmed by memory, trained by themselves and others to seek pleasure, withstand pain and suffering until they become too dangerous then withdraw and this is seeking what is false and harmful that is a major reason why they cannot see the truth and understand apart from style's formidable role through stress, restlessness and distraction in preventing them seeing the truth and understanding.

Force that is false and harmful is the source of the pain and pleasure people foolishly seek and endure. As a result of pursuing blind force in seeking pleasures and withstanding the buildup of pain you are training yourself to disregard, refuse to see the truth what you are doing generates suffering and is dangerous so how can you see the truth and understand?

APART FROM STYLE MAINTAINING THE PERSON IN NO UNDERSTANDING THROUGH STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND DISTRACTION PEOPLE ARE TRAINED TO SEEK FALSE BLIND FORCE IN SEEKING PLEASURE AND WITH STANDING FALSE DANGEROUS PAIN AS THEIR OBJECTIVES IN LIFE. UNTIL A PERSON LESSEN SIGNIFICANTLY HIS IRRATIONAL PURSUIT OF PLEASURE AND WORSHIP OF STRENGTH AND THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND PAIN HE IS IRRATIONAL, CANNOT SEE THE TRUTH AND UNDERSTAND.

A person who is suffering is not in charge of himself:

Stress and restlessness caused by style forces those with style to repeat what they are doing which is replaying with style from memory, the simultaneous substance and style combo scatter their attention making them unable to see the truth and style forces them to be totally dependent on their memory to say or do things and they can only talk memory subjects where there are no truths to be seen. In addition people are programmed, conditioned to seek blind pleasure and seek and withstand pain and suffering caused by blind harmful force that further compounds their inability to see the truth and understand.

STYLE AND PLEASURE AND PAIN SEEKING ARE TWIN REASONS PEOPLE ARE UNABLE TO SEE THE TRUTH AND UNDERSTAND.

People seek pain and only temporarily retreat:

People seek pain and suffering and only temporarily withdraw when the pain and suffering is too strong and dangerous. This is a major reason why they cannot understand.

TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE TRUTH AND UNDERSTAND YOU MUST WEAN, SUBSTANTIALLY REDUCE YOUR SEEKING OF PAIN AND PLEASURE. SO LONG AS YOU ARE HOOKED ON PAIN AND PLEASURE YOU CANNOT SEE THE TRUTH AND UNDERSTAND.

Like and dislike is an obstacle to understanding:

Liking and disliking is a serious handicap preventing seeing the truth and understanding. When they see something their like or dislike that are products of blind blinding force is activated preventing seeing the truth.

IF A PERSON HAS STRONG LIKES AND DISLIKES IT IS A SERIOUS HANDICAP TO SEEING THE TRUTH AND UNDERSTANDING.

Good conduct is the key to understanding:

The Buddha said virtue (good conduct in speech and actions), concentration and wisdom (knowledge of the truth) are linked. The higher the good conduct the higher the concentration, the higher the concentration the higher the ability to see the truth and thus wisdom.

The more a person suffers mentally and physically the more he is unable to see the truth and understand and so if he wants to see the truth and understand he must reduce significantly his suffering by reducing his bad conduct.

The only reason a person suffers is because he has bad conduct and he associates with others with similar bad conduct. Indulging in vices like gambling, drinking, smoking, prostitution, stealing, cheating is bad conduct.

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL SUFFERING THAT CAN ONLY BE CAUSED BY BAD CONDUCT IS A MAJOR BARRIER TO SEEING THE TRUTH AND UNDERSTANDING. ONLY A SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION IN BAD CONDUCT LEADING TO A LESSENING HIS SUFFERING WILL ENABLE HIM TO SEE THE TRUTH.

A PERSON WHO IS SUFFERING IS NOT CALM, YOU CAN ONLY SEE THE TRUTH IF YOUR MIND IS CALM.

A person with understanding is able to see the truth by himself or he is able to see the truth immediately when others who see point out the truth to him. He is like the tongue that immediately tastes the soup.

The person without understanding cannot see the truth by himself and even when it is repeatedly pointed out to him like the spoon that never knows the taste of the soup no matter how many times the spoon contacts the soup. Many people are like this because their whole lives revolve around memory, they are replaying everything they think, say and do by memory, they only know and talk memory subjects, they are absorbed by affairs of this world that are entirely memory subjects.

THE PERSON WITH UNDERSTANDING IS ABLE TO SEE THE TRUTH IN THINGS AROUND HIM BY HIMSELF OR WHEN IT IS POINTED OUT TO HIM BY OTHERS. THE PERSON WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING CANNOT SEE THE TRUTH BY HIMSELF AND EVEN WHEN REPEATEDLY POINTED OUT TO HIM.

The world financial system is based on trust in the counterparty to fulfill his obligations eg the borrower will return the money with interest in due course. Truths have no exceptions and apply to everyone:

The truth is the same applies to everyone so it is not OK for God to tell a lie just as it is not OK for you to tell a lie.

Because it is a truth this applies without exceptions to all things false, wrong and evil:

Whatever is false, wrong and evil is suffering to undertake for everyone, is addictive or conditioning, becomes worse, stronger and harder to quit and it will torture the person, wears him down and destroy him and thus trapped he will return here endlessly mostly as animals in repayment.

Thus gambling or drinking become stronger, traps him and become harder to exit and will destroy those who are contented to suffer to enjoy the pleasures of gambling or drinking.

In the same way style is evil, false, it becomes stronger, gives rewards in material and sensual gains, the stress, restlessness and distraction it generates imprisons the person stronger with time and if he is defiant, adamant his style will torment and kill him and he is heading for suffering and deaths.

Understanding is only needed in truth subjects:

Understanding only applies if there is a truth stated with something to see not remember or believe. If something said is a memory subject, facts or fallacies, instructions eg how to drive to Singapore, theories eg Einstein's theory of relativity, a medical subject, no understanding is involved or required, what is required is did you memorize it accurately.

UNDERSTANDING IS ONLY REQUIRED IF A TRUTH IS STATED, IF THE SUBJECT IS A MEMORY SUBJECT, WHICH IS THE CASE OF EVERYTHING PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD TALK TO OTHERS NO UNDERSTANDING IS NEEDED OR APPLIES, ONLY MEMORY OR RECORDING IS REQUIRED.

Adding information or facts together to form a conclusion is not understanding as commonly perceived but it is a logical conclusion that is a product of memory not understanding.

WHEN PEOPLE TALK ABOUT UNDERSTANDING SOMETHING HAPPENING THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT LOGICAL DEDUCTIONS BASED ON FACTS OR INFORMATION THAT IS A FUNCTION OF MEMORY NOT UNDERSTANDING.

Restlessness is a hindrance to awakening:

Restlessness which is a product of constant changing speed and loudness that is a component of style is a hindrance to awakening according to the Buddha. A person who is restless is harassed, cannot think properly let alone understand the situation so he is under pressure to replay standardised from memory than speak with understanding.
