Thus the bond issuer only has to service interest at intervals but the crunch comes at maturity when he must return the principal. It is because of bonds maturing and companies like Lehman Bros being unable to repay the principle, Greece’s bonds worth a $100 billion coming mature soon and it cannot repay the principal nor find borrowers to roll over the debts that it is in such strife.
It is said that trillions of dollars worth of bank and corporate debts (bonds) are coming due in the next three years and trillions have been lent to the ‘Club Med’ countries which are now in grave financial trouble.

A recent two-page spread in the New York Times, costing thousands of US dollars and featuring the prime minister's wife, was placed on behalf of the Malaysian government.
In an e-mail response to questions from The Nut Graph, the New York Times said: "The advertisement was placed by an ad agency on behalf of the Malaysian government."
The response from New York Times executive director of community affairs and media relations, Diane McNulty, reveals that the ad was not placed by private individuals, as suggested by the last line in the ad's congratulatory message.
McNulty, however, declined to disclose how much the ad cost, saying the company never discusses the cost of an individual ad as there are many variables and rates involved. These include the kind of schedule the ad purchaser has with the company, as well as the advertising category it falls within.
However, research on previous full-page ads taken out in the New York Times suggests that the cost of such advertisements ranges from US$180,000 to US$230,000. This amounts to between RM580,000 and RM740,000 for a one-page ad.
A two-page colour spread such as the one featuring Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor is expected to cost far more.
"Friends and family"
The ad was placed on 16 April 2010, on the last day of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's visit to the US, to congratulate Rosmah on her being conferred a little-known International Peace and Harmony Award.
The ad welcomed Rosmah as Malaysia's "First Lady" to New York, and carried the message: "In recognition of your effort to promote peace, harmony and understanding among the people of Malaysia and your courageous acts in making a difference to the lives of people and children around the world. Malaysia is proud of you."
It was signed off: "Best wishes from family and friends in USA and Malaysia."
The ad did not name the Business Council for International Understanding, the outfit that gave Rosmah the award.
Against a backdrop of controversies surrounding the hiring of media relations firm Apco Worldwide Sdn Bhd, and Rosmah's alleged interference in government matters, the two-page ad has stirred up gossip and blog postings about who paid for it.
It has also been noted that while Rosmah was prominently featured in the ad in a respected and established newspaper, US media coverage of Najib's visit and meeting with President Barack Obama was scant.

If the police have squandered their ‘golden opportunity’ to nail Anwar for good by obtaining irrefutable audiovisual evidence then the only recourse for decent people is to let Anwar off the hook since a person is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. By persisting to prosecute Anwar despite missing a golden opportunity to nail him through incompetence, it reflects that the pursuit is not reasoned but obsessive, to frame and convict Anwar.

According to Saiful he even spoke to Musa the IGP about his problem with Anwar before his last act with Anwar.
Thus police knew what was going on and it reflects gross incompetence that they could not collect irrefutable evidence of the deed.

The sodomy trial of opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Wednesday, May 12, heard that complainant Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan had made contact with several figures, including Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan, before lodging a police report against Anwar days later.
Anwar's lead counsel Karpal Singh on Wednesday continued cross-examining Saiful after the court declined to grant a stay of proceedings pending an appeal.
Anwar is expected to file his notice of appeal at the Court of Appeal this afternoon to appeal against the High Court's earlier decision to not grant him access to Saiful's witness statements.
When asked, Saiful reiterated that he met Najib at the latter's Taman Duta residence at about 8pm on June 24, 2008 to complain about his "problems".
According to Saiful, he was brought to Najib's house by Najib's former special officer Khairil Anas Jusoh and met the then-deputy prime minister for about 20 minutes.
Saiful, who is the prosecution's first witness, told the court that Najib did not give him any advice on what to do, and said Najib appeared "skeptical" when told about Saiful's "problem".
Questioned by Karpal, Saiful said he did not meet with Najib's wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and only saw the latter as he was leaving Najib's house.
To another question, Saiful said former national athlete Datuk Dr Mumtaz Jaafar was not at Najib's house when Saiful visited.
Mumtaz is believed to be a close associate of Rosmah, but the former's links to the case is yet to be made clear.
Saiful said he first met special officer Khairil sometime in December 2007 or January 2008 to obtain a letter of support for Saiful's application for a MARA education loan to pursue a pilot training programme in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
Saiful had earlier dropped out of his engineering course in UiTM after apparently receiving poor grades due to his involvement in student council activities.
'No statement taken'
According to Saiful, after he met with Najib, he had received a call from a senior police officer Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police (SAC) II (who was then Assistant Commissioner of Police) Datuk Mohd Rodwan Mohd Yusof and they met a room in Melia Hotel here.
Saiful said Rodwan did not record any statement from him during the meeting, and scheduled another meeting at the Concorde Hotel here the next day on June 25, 2008.
Rodwan, however, cancelled the June 25 meeting ahead of time and both men did not meet again, Saiful told the court.
When asked, Saiful admitted to contacting Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan via telephone on the morning of June 25, 2008 to "complain about [his] problem".
Saiful's testimony prompted loud murmurs in court when he maintained that he "had been severely wronged by Anwar (memang banyak dianiyai oleh Anwar)".
"I wanted to tell him (Musa) that I had been sodomised several times inside and outside the country by Anwar but after less than a minute (of conversation) he hung up and told me not to contact him again. Maybe he thought it was a prank call," Saiful said.
When asked, Saiful said he obtained Musa's telephone number when he was at Najib's house on June 24, 2008.
The 24-year-old claimed he had saved Musa's number in his mobile phone after overhearing the number when Najib apparently asked his aides for the number.
Saiful, who was Anwar's aide for several months in 2008, said he first confided in his uncle Tuah Mohd Halim about the alleged sodomy on June 26, 2008.
Saiful had lodged a police report and performed a medical examination on June 28, 2008, accusing Anwar of sodomising him.
Saiful, in his police report, claimed that June 26, 2008 was "the last time" he was sodomised by Anwar, the date on which the trial and charge is focused on.
Karpal then asked the court to adjourn proceedings until Mumtaz and Ezam can be brought to court for Saiful to identify, prompting disagreement from Solicitor-General II Datuk Mohd Yusof Zainal Abiden who said that prosecutors needed some time to arrange for that.
Karpal then said the proceedings could wait for Mumtaz and Ezam to appear, asking "What's the hurry (to go on with the trial)?"
To that, Saiful retorted, "It's been two years", referring to the time since he lodged a police report on June 28, 2008 alleging sodomy by his former employer.
Tuah and Mohd Rodwan were produced in court today for identification.
When asked, Saiful said his friend Rahimi Osman had brought him to meet with former PKR Youth Chief Ezam Mohd Noor around midnight between June 27, 2008 and June 28, 2008.
Saiful said that he, Rahimi, Tuah and Ezam met in Bandar Tasik Puteri, Rawang.
Saiful had earlier testified that he was roped in to Anwar's office shortly before the general elections in March 2008 by his close friend Rahimi, who was then working for the PKR adviser.
Saiful proves his dishonesty:
In his (emotional) haste to distance Najib from events, Saiful unnecessarily incriminates himself as capable of lying by saying Najib was initially sceptical about his claims of sodomy by Anwar.
Why should Najib be sceptical, he should be delighted because here was a golden opportunity to destroy his nemesis? Thus it is unlikely if not impossible Najib would be initially sceptical but it is likely, no matter how preposterous, his interest would be aroused. By thus proving himself capable of lying, it casts his status as an accuser as unreliable.

IF NAJIB HELD ANWAR IN HIGH ESTEEM, ANWAR WAS HIS HERO HE MAY BE INCREDULOUS ABOUT THE ALLEGATION BUT IF ANWAR IS A SWORN ENEMY, SUCH NEWS WOULD AROUSE INTEREST RATHER THAN SCEPTICISM.
THE PURPOSE OF SAIFUL SAYING THUS IS TO FOOLISHLY GIVE THE IMPRESSION THAT NAJIB WAS NEUTRAL, HAD NO INTEREST TO SEE ANWAR BEING CONVICTED BUT IT IS TOTALLY UNNECESSARY AND USELESS TO SAY SO AND IT ONLY PROVES HE IS DISHONEST.
Totally unnecessary and useless:
It reflects foolishness or naivety on the part of Saiful to tender that Najib was initially sceptical about the allegation, only those who are partisan or naïve would believe that given the adversarial relationship between Anwar and Najib that Najib would be disinterested in such allegations.
THE PURPOSE IS TO IMPRESS THE PUBLIC THAT NAJIB IS ABOVE THE FRAY, NEUTRAL BUT IT IS TOTALLY UNNECESSARY AND USELESS, IT WILL NOT WORK BUT ONLY GOES TO INDICATE SAIFUL IS DISHONEST.
Jesus says Saiful will be dishonest in much:
Jesus: "He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much; and he who is dishonest in a very little is dishonest also in much. 11 If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will entrust to you the true riches (heaven)?
Thus if Saiful has demonstrated his unnecessary and useless dishonesty in distancing Najib from the case, he will also be dishonest in the much, the limitless much.

Derailing and undermining the basis of the case?
On Tuesday his lawyers, who have lost a series of legal manoeuvres to derail the trial, tried to undermine the basis of the case by pointing out he was charged with a consensual act while Saiful claimed he was assaulted.
Many think they understand what they say but they do not and they would be judged for every careless they speak.
Anwar is not trying to undermine the basis of the case but render false the basis of the case.
There is a difference between undermining and rendering false or wrong.
Again Anwar is not trying to derail the case except in the reporter’s false perception or understanding but Anwar is trying to stop or dismiss the trial because it is a conspiracy.
Again there is a meaningful difference between derailing and seeking dismissal of the trial.
If you think there is no difference between derailing and dismissing the trial you have false perception you do not believe will end in mad perception.
Saiful rinsing his anus:
The best way to keep evidence is not to rinse your anus but to present your anus to the nearest expert forensic pathologist. Surely the police who were in touch should know this and tell Saiful to quit rinsing and see a doctor immediately?

The lawyer also asked why Saiful did not file a police report on the day of the incident or the next day, to which the complainant said: “I was afraid it would affect my future.”
After having seen the deputy PM and speaking to the IGP Saiful thinks he is credible in saying he did not make a report immediately after the sodomy because he was afraid it would affect his future.
If he truly wanted to preserve his evidence he would have seen a doctor immediately to be examined and evidence extracted.
SAIFUL HAS ADMITTED THAT PRESERVING EVIDENCE OCCURRED TO HIM AND SO IN CONJUCTION WITH HIGH LEVEL POLICE CONNECTIONS, WHY WAS HE ALLOWED TO LINGER FOR DAYS BEFORE HE SHOPPED AROUND FOR ANY DOCTOR WHO MAY BOTCH THE FORENSIC EXAMINATION WHEN HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN BY POLICE TO THE BEST FORENSIC PATHOLOGIST IN TOWN AND PROCESSED IMMEDIATELY.
TO THOSE WITH FALSE UNDERSTANDING, THEY ARE IN DOUBT AS TO WHETHER SODOMY ACTUALLY TOOK PLACE BUT BASED ON WHAT WAS ACKNOWLEDGED BY SAIFUL, THE INCONSISTENCIES, A PERSON WITH TRUE UNDERSTANDING CAN CONCLUDE THAT SODOMY DID NOT ACTUALLY TAKE PLACE.
Still quantitatively easing:
Recently the EU announced the setting of a €1 trillion reserve fund to avert default by Mediterranean countries. This is money that is virtually created that has no asset backing or a nice word for printing worthless money to cover debts you cannot afford to pay.
It is again another example of mankind’s perverted logic of doing bad (printing money without asset backing) to do good (bail out economies in trouble) but rather than achieving its target it will postpone and make worse the outcome.
Quantitative easing is a misnomer or speaking falsely because it is not making easy the amount of money but it is cheating, printing worthless pieces of paper that has no backing penalizing holders of the currency.

In his haste to assure the court that his evidence is valid he is only exposing himself as suspect.
What is the difference between rinsing and washing his anus? How does rinsing his anus protect the evidence and washing not? The crucial factor is immediacy of seeking medical documentation of his sodomy.
If he has actually been sodomized what does it matter whether he washed or did not wash his anus or he cannot remember (a safer option) and surely he knows the judge will be there to uphold him and deny Karpal Singh?

Why Saiful is a false witness:
What a witness at a trial states defines him either as a true or false witness and it is objective, discernible by those who truly understand whilst those with false or no understanding are clueless or deceived.
Why is Saiful, by his own words, a false witness?
A true witness states what has happened, does not justify his actions or what has happened and has no motive to influence the judge or jury or want a conviction which is the job for the judge or jury.
A false witness states more than what has happened or it is fabricated (did not happen as stated), justifies his actions or what has happened and has a motive that can be detected to influence the judge or jury or want a conviction which is not his job but the job for the judge or jury.
In testifying that he did not wash his anus but rinsed it (which may be fabricated, did not happen) because he wanted to preserve the evidence, he is implying that the evidence is therefore preserved and valid to obtain a conviction.
A true witness, when questioned, states what actually happened, he rinsed his anus, he does not justify his action as to preserve the evidence.
IF SODOMY ACTUALLY OCCURRED, IT CANNOT BE TRULY REFUTED AND SO SAIFUL DOES NOT HAVE TO JUSTIFY HIS EVIDENCE, HIS EVIDENCE WILL SPEAK FOR ITSELF. SO WHY IS SAIFUL JUSTIFYING HIMSELF THAT HIS EVIDENCE IS TRUE BECAUSE HE DID NOT WASH HIS ANUS AND SO THE EVIDENCE REMAINED AND IS VALID?
DOES HIS CASE REST SOLELY ON ANAL EVIDENCE?
IT IS NOT DIFFICULT TO DISCERN THAT THE RULING ELITE WILL DO ANYTHING TO CONVICT ANWAR OF SODOMY AND THUS, WHEN THE POLICE FORCE UP TO THE IGP WAS ALERTED BEFORE THE LAST ACT, WHY DID THEY NOT SET AN AUDIOVISUAL TRAP CATCHING ANWAR IN THE ACT? THEN NOT ONLY WILL THEY KILL OFF ANWAR POLITICALLY BUT MAKE HIM A LAUGHING STOCK.

What is the use or purpose of telling others you have gained ground?

The essence of the Greece bailout:
Apparently, because no one would buy Greek bonds, the EU is buying up those loans and issuing bonds that are rated ‘AAA’ to the same amount to the markets in lieu of those Greek bonds.
You may think that that is a brilliant solution but it means the EU is stuck with those Greek bonds that are likely to be worthless if Greece cannot pay or worth not much. Furthermore the EU now owes lenders the new bonds issued instead that must be repaid sometime in the future and if the EU did not have the money, it increases its debt burden and may potentially render it insolvent.

You have to hate or have ill will to have style because your style is creating tormenting insoluble renewing stress, restlessness and distraction that makes you hate yourself and others no matter how you may insist you love yourself and others.
STYLE IS PRESENT IN ALL BEINGS IN THIS WORLD AND THEREFORE STYLE OR CONSTANT USE OF FORCE TO STRETCH, CHANGE SPEED AND STRENGTH IS THE WAY OF THIS WORLD.

If you have style (stretched syllables, changes in speed and loudness) and you do not know then you are a fool who does not know what he does and foolishness is not the way to heaven.
If you can see you have style but perceive it as meaningful, wonderful and beneficial to yourself and others when it is meaningless and harmful then you are deluded and that is wrong view that the Buddha said leads to hell or the animal womb.
RIM chuffed to be in top 5:
RIM (maker of Blackberry) is chuffed means it is thrilled or extremely pleased or proud about the achievement.
People perceive ‘chuffed’ as full of meaning, they memorize and use the word because it is high sounding but it is merely about a meaningless, stressful attractive stirring of the person’s mental force.

True criteria for selection to become a supreme court judge are qualifications in terms of expertise of legal matters, experience and fairness or impartiality.
False considerations are many like whether the person is of a certain race (eg Hispanic or white), sex (male), sexual orientation (lesbian), age, rightwing or leftwing, etc.
Because mankind see nothing wrong, see it is correct and necessary to have a balance eg between rightwing and leftwing appointments to protect vested interests, they have wrong perception and logic that is never harmless but conditioning leading to final mad perception and logic.

Google and privacy: What crisis?
People are bombarded by similar inappropriate idiotic statements and such is their acceptance they see nothing wrong when it is bizarre and false.
Just because there have been past issues of invasion of privacy by Google street view and recent ‘uproar’ about it was secretly gathering of wi-fi information does not mean there is a crisis except in his false exaggerating perception.
Further he is not asking a genuine question that requires an answer from the audience, he is being incredulous or doubting or rubbishing or dismissive in asking ‘what crisis’?
IT IS FAR FETCHED AND THEREFORE PRACTICING DANGEROUS FALSE PERCEPTION TO THINK THAT THERE IS A CRISIS JUST BECAUSE GOOGLE HAS BEEN SUBJECT TO SOME PRIVACY COMPLAINTS IN RECENT YEARS.
FURTHER HE IS NOT ASKING A GENUINE QUESTION BUT BEING INCREDULOUS OR DOUBTING OR DISMISSIVE IN ASKING ‘WHAT CRISIS’. IT IS A FORM OF ATTACKING USING WORDS AND ILL WILL IS NOT THE WAY TO HEAVEN BUT WOE.
