There is a simple and easy way to make merit for yourself that is for your future happiness.
The Buddha said the sharing of dharma or the teaching is higher than the sharing of material goods, a gift of the dharma is higher than the gift of material things and so if you think this is the dharma, share it, spread it and it is to your future happiness that you should do it.
This was said by the Blessed One: "There are these two kinds of gifts: a gift of material things & a gift of the Dhamma. Of the two, this is supreme: a gift of the Dhamma. There are these two kinds of sharing: sharing of material things & sharing of the Dhamma. Of the two, this is supreme: sharing of the Dhamma. There are these two kinds of assistance: assistance with material things & assistance with the Dhamma. Of the two, this is supreme: help with the Dhamma."

The gift he describes as foremost & unsurpassed,
the sharing the Blessed One has extolled:
who -- confident in the supreme field of merit, wise, discerning --
wouldn't give it at appropriate times?
Both for those who proclaim it and those who listen,
confident in the message of the One Well-gone:
it purifies their foremost benefit --
those heeding the message of the One Well-gone.

Celebrate but make sure you don’t stir your mental force:
Celebrate Deepavali, Christmas or whatever by all means but makes sure you do not stir your mental force or stir others’ mental forces in the process because if you do, you are doing something that his suffering (never the pleasure it is made out to be), conditioning (conditions you to stir your mental force) and degrades your mind in time and should you also stir others’ mental forces in the process and that harms rather than benefits them, you are guilty of harming others with karma due to be experienced as future suffering.
CELEBRATION AS IT IS DONE ON EARTH IS A RITUAL THAT IS PRACTICED TOGETHER WITH A TOTALLY USELESS MEANINGLESS, HARMFUL MUTUAL STIRRING OF MENTAL FORCE AND SO CELEBRATE BY ALL MEANS BUT MAKE SURE IT IS NOT A RITUAL AND YOUR MENTAL FORCE IS NOT STIRRED BY THE CELEBRATION, IF IT IS RITUAL, THEN FAITH IN RITUALS IS A FETTER TO FUTURE WOE SAYS THE BUDDHA AND WHATEVER IS STIRRED MENTAL FORCE ESPECIALLY FOR NO PURPOSE IS CONTROLLED SUFFERING THAT LEADS TO FUTURE SUFFERING.
NOWADAYS I HAVE NO DESIRE TO CELEBRATE ANYTHING AND RATHER THAN A GREAT LOSS OR RESTRAINT, IT IS THE INCOMPARABLE RELEASE FROM THE RITUAL OF CELEBRATING AND MAD STIRRING OF MENTAL FORCE. IT IS NEVER A PLEASURE TO STIR MENTAL FORCE BUT IT IS ALWAYS SUFFERING AND THE FACT THAT YOU SEE IT AS MEANINGFUL, FUN REFLECTS DELUSION, SERIOUS FALSE PERCEPTION.
Too scared to go out?
There are people who suffer from agoraphobia, the fear of going out.
Because fear is simply an emotion, a particular relationship in the stirring of a person’s force of self preservation in relation to his force of going against self, it means that when a person is too scared of going out, it is a particular stirring of mental force that makes him not go out.
WHEN A PERSON IS TOO SCARED TO GO OUT, IT IS A PARTICULAR STIRRING OF HIS MENTAL FORCE THAT MAKES HIM NOT GO OUT AND SO HERE AS EVERYWHERE ELSE, IT IS FORCE NOT TRUE REASON THAT IS THE TRUE BASIS OF PEOPLE’S ACTIONS AND SPEECH.
TRUE REASON NEVER HAS THE FORCE TO MAKE ANYONE SCARED OF GOING OUT, IT IS THE STIRRING OF FORCE THAT CAN BE CRIPPLING, STOPS HIM GOING OUT.
Resistance full and free speaking and doing:
If a person sees and knows what he is saying and doing is true, there is never resistance to what he says and does, the force of self preservation is not activated to resist what he says or does.
It is only when he does not know what he says or does is true or false (he speaks without knowing) or he speaks and does knowing it is false that his force of self preservation is automatically activated and that resistance occurs and must be overcome before a person can speak and do it.
WHEN A PERSON SPEAKS AND DOES KNOWING WHAT HE SAYS OR DOES IS TRUE, NO SELF RESISTANCE IS GENERATED THAT MUST BE OVERCOME BEFORE HE CAN SPEAK OR DO.
IT IS ONLY WHEN HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE SAYS OR DOES IS TRUE AND HE KNOWS WHAT HE SAYS OR DOES IN FALSE AND YET HE WANTS TO GO AHEAD THAT SELF RESISTANCE IS AUTOMATICALLY AROUSED AND MUST BE OVERCOME WITH ADDITIONAL FORCE AND ENERGY WASTED TO CREATE STRESS BEFORE HE CAN SPEAK OR DO.
Why there is still resistance when they speak the ‘truth’:
There is always resistance (that must be overcome) whenever stylish emotional people speak even when they think they are speaking the absolute truth. This contradiction is apparent than real. Why is that so?
Even when they speak the truth, there is an accompanying style of force prolonging, changing speed and loudness that is meaningless, harmful and falsely for show and it is impossible for anyone to see their accompanying style as true or meaningful and therefore anyone speaking with accompanying style is speaking without seeing and knowing what they speak is true. Further whatever they speak that is true is rehashed liked everything they say and whatever is rehashed is never genuinely composed for the occasion but standardized rehashed counterfeit and it is impossible for someone who rehashed to see what they speak as true.

No matter how ruthless and brave someone is, if he rushes into a main road without checking for dangers or hoping others will give way to him, he must experience fear and resistance for what he is doing that is blind and risks death and injury to him even if he does not care for others.
If someone enters a main road after programmed checking and driving in a standardized rehashed way that never truly fits the situation, he too must experience resistance because his checking and driving his not genuine but rehashed generalized that may not fit the situation.

It is not universal and inevitable that force used must be attended by resistance. THUS IT DOES MATTER HOW GOOD YOU THINK YOU ARE, HOW WONDERFUL YOUR CHARMING SPEECH IS, SO LONG AS YOU SPEAK FALSELY, SPEAK WITHOUT KNOWING IT IS TRUE, YOU HAVE ACCOMPANYING STYLE AND IT IS REHASHED, THERE MUST BE RESISTANCE AROUSED THAT LEADS TO CONFLICT, STRESS, RESTLESSNESS AND INABILITY TO CONCENTRATE.
Why conflict is the bane of people here:
There are reasons why people here must be assailed by insoluble conflict that is not only terrible suffering but will end with loss of control and mad conflict.

1. Whatever they say or do is either false, said or done without seeing or knowing, has accompanying style and is rehashed that must generate resistance and there is therefore force clashing in whatever they say or do.
2. The prolonging of syllables together with acceleration in speed and loudness is de facto simultaneous delaying and rushing at the same time that again creates violent clashing of forces.
3. They often say or do things that are conflicting (often unaware) eg joking is finding what is nasty is fun that generates unconscious conflict in themselves and others. When you say deafening silence you are generating conflict because what is silent cannot deafen.

* In Malaysia's elite business circles, the big boys don't understand the conventional wisdom of 'competition'. Pre-empting any anticipated protests from pressure groups and other economic pressure groups, Petronas went on to quickly add that such moves would “expose local energy services companies such as Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Bhd, Kencana Petroleum and Ramunia Holdings Bhd to competition”.

It is not as if Mokhzani is poor and desperately in need of money but even today the wealth of the nation is being siphoned off in a massive scale into the pockets of the privileged few. This is at the loss of the system and has serious consequences for the masses.
It seems Petronas awarded a crony deal to Mokhzani that would result in a windfall for him. The price in karma for those responsible is terrible compared to whatever material gains they may obtain.
Massive plunder by the few:
Amassing $400 million by a crony deal is not a small amount. Thus new wealth created eg oil produced by the earth is not shared equitably but hoarded by the privileged few and in time to come, the wealth of the system is concentrated in the hands of the few who cannot stimulate the economy no matter how much they spend whilst the masses become saddled with insoluble debts through credit abuse or their savings in banks lost through reckless lending. This is an impasse that has no solution, it is the endpoint of capitalism when there is a destabilizing concentration of wealth in the hands of the few.
FURTHER, THROUGH THE RECYCLING OF MONEY LENT AND RE-DEPOSITED IN BANKS THE AMOUNT OF DEBT IN THE SYSTEM MAY BE MANY TIMES THE ACTUAL WEALTH IN THE SYSTEM SO THAT AFTER A PERIOD OF EXTENDED ABUSE, THE DEBT BURDEN IS CRUSHING, IMPOSSIBLE TO BE RESOLVED.
Resistance does not require intelligence or reason:
The resistance that is automatically aroused to oppose whatever speech and actions that is false, meaningless or without seeing is never based on intelligence or understanding, does not require intelligence or reason but based on simple force driven self-protection and preservation.
If a person’s action exposes him to risk or harm, it is automatic that he will arouse resistance to taking that action that must persist throughout the action that his force of going against self must overcome before it can be carried out and successfully completed. Sometimes, the harmful or dangerous act is aborted half way when his resistance rises too strongly for his force of going against self to continue the enterprise.

Intense social pressure to do without knowing:
There are intense social pressures for beings to say and do things without knowing or just to obey orders.
Thus parents force their children to do things eg eat your vegetables, teachers punish students for not doing certain things and wicked authorities tell you many things that are false, tell you to do this or that for fear of punishment.
A lot of the facts or truths people harbour in their minds are actually beliefs or delusions implanted by others or fabricated by themselves without true basis and even if you whole heartedly believe they are true, because you never truly saw them as true, there must be resistance and conflict.
When newsreaders read the news they are making themselves robots to mechanically render what is written on the paper and this is never harmless but must generate resistance and it is the way to future torment no matter how well paid and what a celebrity you become.
THE WISE PERSON WILL TRAIN TO ONLY SAY OR DO THINGS HE KNOWS IS TRUE OR MEANINGFUL, HE WILL NOT FORCE HIMSELF TO SAY OR DO THINGS HE DOES NOT KNOW IS TRUE LET ALONE HE KNOWS IS FALSE BECAUSE THAT IS SUBJECTING HIMSELF TO RESISTANCE AND CONFLICT THAT IS CONDITIONING AND ENDS IN INSANITY.
Resistance can become mad:
If you keep abusing yourself by saying things that are false or without knowing, you keep training yourself to resist such that in time such resistance become mad, automatic, indiscriminate so that even simple things that should not be subject to resistance or doubting is resisted and the fool agonizes over a simple decision (eg to eat or not to eat) or he makes even a fatal wrong decision even over matters that should be straight forward to decide.
BECAUSE STYLISH PEOPLE ARE CONSTANTLY DOING WHAT IS MEANINGLESS AND HARMFUL, STRETCHING SYLLABLES, CHANGING SPEED AND LOUDNESS, THEY ARE CONSTANTLY FAKING IT BY REHASHING WHAT THEY SAY OR DO INSTEAD OF SPECIFICALLY COMPOSING FOR THE CURRENT SITUATION, THEY ARE CONSTANTLY TRAINING THEMSELVES TO RESIST WHAT THEY DO AND THIS HAS ALREADY BECOME MALIGNANT OR MAD, THERE IS AN URGE TO RESIST IN THEM SO THAT EVEN SIMPLE THINGS ARE SUBJECT TO DOUBT, RESISTANCE AND THEY MAKE THE WRONG EVEN FATAL (TRAFFIC OR DRIVING) DECISION WHEN THE DECISION IS STRAIGHTFORWARD OR OBVIOUS.
Mad resistance:
There are many with mad resistance. If you say ‘A’ they will say ‘B’, if you say ‘B’ they will say ‘A’ because there is a malignant urge to oppose.
THERE ARE MANY WHO DO NOT REALIZE THEY ARE FACETIOUS, THEY WILL OPPOSE FOR THE SAKE OF OPPOSING, THEIR VIEWS ARE FICKLE AND THEY BEND WITH THE WIND. THEY WANT TO ANTAGONIZE OTHERS AND MAKE LIFE DIFFICULT FOR OTHERS NOT REALIZING KARMA CAN MAKE LIFE VERY DIFFICULT FOR THEM EVEN FOR AN ETERNITY.

I think the Dow rose more than 300 points on news of an Euro deal but from what some analysts said, there are big risks in the new deal that does not resolve the crisis.
The banks who lent to Greece are supposed to take a 50% haircut that will enable Greece to meet its obligations without default. The idea is to avoid default because then CDS swaps will be activated and insurers will have to pay out which they cannot because their insurance are not worth the paper written and the investment banks who wrote them eg Goldman Sachs would be hit.
THUS A MAJOR PURPOSE OF THE HAIRCUT IS TO AVOID DEFAULT THAT WOULD ACTIVATE CDS PAYOUTS THAT WILL NOT BE HONORED BECAUSE INSURERS ARE EMPERORS WITHOUT CLOTHES AND CANNOT PAY UP.
APPARENTLY THE BAILOUT FUND WILL BE ENLARGED FROM 400 BILLION TO 1 TRILLION BASED ON THE HOPE THAT ‘SAVINGS RICH’ (IN THEORY NOT REALITY) CHINA AND BRAZIL WILL INVEST. IF THEY DON’T, WOULD THE EU OR CITIZENS TAKE UP THE TAB, THE SHIT PASSED TO THEM TO ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY?
THUS IT IS A BIG MESS AND THERE IS STILL THE MUCH BIGGER PROBLEMS OF ITALY AND SPAIN LOOMING AND HERE YOU HAVE MARKETS SOARING. SO MUCH FOR SAVVY, EFFICIENT AND RATIONAL MARKETS.
Does mankind understand simple financial realities?
Even if a solution has been adopted, the banks that lent Greece will take a 50% haircut or sustain 50% loss and will be that poorer than they imagined themselves to be and this will impact on the economy in the near future.
Even if Greece is given a 50% discount on the debts it owed, it still has to repay and with income falling, production falling and many jobless and not paying taxes, the debt repayments itself, if successfully carried out will still be like an albatross on the economy and so you can expect tough economic conditions.
Even if China and Brazil were to be foolish enough or ‘gracious’ enough to lend money where ‘angels fear to tread’, it would tie down their resources and handicap the wealth or liquidity of the system.
This is without considering the looming potential Italian, Spain and Portuguese defaults. UK and US are not on such stable grounds either. And so what are markets celebrating? There is no easy way out and it may be a trap and moving about in a trap waiting to be called to the execution chamber.
Feeling guilty and regret:
When you talk about feeling guilty or regret it means your mental force is stirred in a way to experience hurt, anger (at self) and sadness for having done or said a certain thing and rather than good or meaningful it is a senseless harmful addictive stirring of mental force that should not be allowed to arise again. There is only one way to make that truly happen.
IF A PERSON TRULY UNDERSTANDS WHAT HE SAYS AND DOES HE WILL UNDERSTAND WHETHER IT IS RIGHT OR WRONG, TRUE OR FALSE AND THUS TRULY UNDERSTANDING, IT IS UNLIKELY IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM TO SAY OR DO ANYTHING THAT IS FALSE AND HARMFUL THAT WILL GIVE HIM CAUSE TO EXPERIENCE GUILT OR REMORSE AND BECAUSE HIS ACTIONS ARE FRESHLY SPECIFICALLY COMPOSED FOR THE OCCASION AND NOT REHASHED, THERE IS NO URGE FOR HIM TO REPEAT THE SAME ERROR OR EVIL.
IT IS ONLY IF A PERSON IS A ROBOT WHO REHASHES AND WHAT HE SAID AND DID THAT HE REGRETS IS REHASHED DRIVEN BY AN URGE TO DEFILE SELF AND OTHERS WITHOUT TRUE UNDERSTANDING OF ITS NATURE AS WRONG THAT HE HAS COMMITTED AN ACT THAT HE THEN REGRETS AND EVEN AFTER HE HAS REGRETTED THERE IS STILL A COPY OF THE PLAN OF THE ACT IN HIS MIND AND THERE IS STILL URGE TO SIMILARLY OFFEND.
A PERSON OF TRUE UNDERSTANDING WHO IS NOT A ROBOT DOES NOT FEEL ANY GUILT NOR IS THERE ANY MEANING OR GOOD IN FEELING GUILTY BUT GUILT IS HARMFUL SELF MENTAL PUNISHMENT THAT IS CONDITIONING. EVEN THOUGH HE DOES NOT FEEL GUILT, HE DOES NOT OFFEND OTHERS.
Never without conflict:
For emotional people with style conflict is a constant companion of their existence, it is only the intensity of that conflict that varies depending on circumstances and this is never a pleasant state of existence but a tormenting or trying state of existence.
The reason conflict or forceful resistance is ever present is because their style that is false and harmful, their rehashing that is faked genuine actions is constant and these must generate constant resistance that in time is conditioned, automatic, constantly present, it is the intensity of conflict that varies.
IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW TOUGH AND MEAN YOU ARE, HOW HOLY OR PIOUS OR GOOD YOU THINK YOU ARE, HOW WISE OR INTELLIGENT YOU THINK YOU ARE, AS LONG AS YOU ARE GUILTY OF HAVING A STYLE, OF REHASHING WHATEVER YOU SAY OR DO, YOU ARE GUILTY OF SAYING THINGS THAT YOU KNOW ARE FALSE OR YOU SAY THINGS WITHOUT KNOWING IT IS TRUE, YOU MUST EXPERIENCE EXASPERATING HOUNDING CONSTANT CONFLICT THAT NEVER LEAVES YOU AND IF YOU ALLOW IT TO FESTER YOU ARE DOOMED TO MAD UNCONTROLLABLE CONFLICT.
Primary and secondary conflicts:
At heart of an emotional stylish being’s conflict, the PRIMARY cause of his conflict is his CONSTANT saying and doing things that are false or harmful or saying or doing without knowing it is true (eg singing and dancing and sport are all meaningless that people practice without knowing it is true).
Thus constantly conditioned to resistance or conflict it is to be expected that trapped in conflict, hounded by conflict he would seek new avenues to aggravate his conflict and spread his conflict to others and he does so by such devices:

1. Accelerating in speed and loudness (rushing) through every syllable he prolongs (delays) thus forcefully doing clashing opposites of rushing and delaying at the same time.
2. He would fake that he likes what he dislikes, joking is always laughing at what is false or harmful that happens. People smile and act as if they like you when they don’t give a damn or they don’t like you.
3. They are antagonistic looking for fights and arguments, if you say A they will say B, if you say B they say A.

Tension is conflict:
Tension is a manifestation of conflict and all emotional stylish people have an underlying simmering tension that can rise to intense proportions triggered by events eg the approach of someone they don’t like.
THERE IS A BASELINE TENSION IN ORDINARY PEOPLE AND THIS IS EVIDENCE THAT CONFLICT IS AN EVERPRESENT ACCOMPANIMENT OF THEIR EXISTENCE.
Only actions going against self needs resisting:
If an action in speech or body or thinking does not goes against self it NEVER requires resisting and it is only actions that go against self that MANDATORILY WITHOUT NEEDING REASON requires and is automatically resisted.
The trouble with ordinary people is EVERY ACTION of theirs goes against self and so resistance is constant and it falsely appears as if resistance is inevitable companion of all actions.
SELF RESISTANCE TO AN ACTION IS NOT INEVITABLE, IT IS ONLY INEVITABLE IF THAT ACTION IS OBJECTIVELY AGAINST SELF AND THEN SELF RESISTANCE IS AUTOMATICALLY RAISED WITHOUT NEED FOR INTELLIGENCE BECAUSE SELF PRESERVATION OR PROTECTION IS AT THE HEART OF ALL BEINGS’ EXISTENCE NO MATTER HOW THEY SEEK TO ABUSE THEMSELVES AND OTHERS.
Whether an action goes against self, subjects one to suffering and harm and leads to future torment cannot be disputed, applies to everyone and so even if you do not know your action goes against self, you think you are such a wonderful being troubling yourself, sacrificing yourself for others, if it goes against self, it must generate resistance that accompanies it no matter how many times the action is undertaken and must be overcome before that action can commence.
The use of force to fabricate style or stretching of syllables, changing of speed and loudness goes against self because it is meaningless, for show to impress and please others, it creates stress, restlessness and inability to concentrate because it draws or diverts attention from the substance of what is said or done. It must be memorized and rehashed from memory leading to a robotic mechanical existence and so no matter how you cannot see your style and rehashing, no matter how you worship style in self and others, it is still harmful and must generate self resistance in the name of self preservation and limiting the damage as much as possible.
You can preserve your life with reason and understanding or you can preserve it with force. A person with true understanding and seeing will know whatever he does or says goes against self or not and thus knowing he will never say or do things that goes against self and so he never needs to resort to using opposing force to resist and preserve his self.
IT IS ONLY A PERSON WHO DOES NOT TRULY UNDERSTAND, WHO DOES AND SAYS THINGS THAT HARM HIMSELF WITHOUT KNOWING WHO NEED TO RESORT TO FORCE, TO FORCEFUL RESISTANCE TO PROTECT HIMSELF AGAINST EXCESSES AND HARM FOOLISHLY IGNORANTLY PERPETRATED BY HIMSELF AND NO MATTER HOW HE RESISTS, HE IS STILL SUBJECTING HIMSELF TO FORCE, THE VERY RESISTANCE ITSELF HARMS HIM AND SO HE IS UNDERTAKING A LOST OR FUTILE CAUSE, HEADED FOR DISASTER.
IF YOU TELL A LIE OR SAY SOMETHING FALSE, YOU WANT TO FORCE OTHERS TO BELIEVE WHAT IS FALSE, DID NOT HAPPEN, IS TRUE AND THAT IS ALWAYS GOING AGAINST SELF BECAUSE YOU ARE ALSO FORCING YOURSELF TO BELIEVE WHAT IS FALSE IS TRUE THAT IN TIME LEADS TO MAD PERCEPTION OF WHAT IS FALSE AND HARMFUL TO OTHERS AND SELF IS TRUE AND BENEFICIAL.
SIMILARLY IF YOU SAY AND DO THINGS (EG DANCING, CHANTING, RITUALS) WITHOUT KNOWING THEY ARE TRUE, EFFECTIVE THEN YOU ARE ALSO GOING AGAINST SELF DOING THINGS YOU DO NOT KNOW WORKS OR IS TRUE. TO DO OR SAY THINGS BLINDLY IS DANGEROUS, COURTING TROUBLE AND SO ANYONE WHO SAYS OR DOES THINGS COPYING OTHERS WITHOUT KNOWING ITS TRUTH IS GOING AGAINST SELF.
If you know something is false and you still say it, you must use force to close your eyes to the falsity of what you say, to push truth to the side and then speak according to a plan you must formulate or fabricate what you know is false that you also with force want others to accept. Thus you are forcing yourself to deny what is false is false, to insist what is false is true and that is courting insanity, false perception and always is going against self no matter how ruthless or conscienceless you are.  
BECAUSE EVERYTHING THEY THINK, SAY OR DO GOES AGAINST SELF BECAUSE THEY HAVE AN ACCOMPANYING FALSE HARMFUL ATTENTION DIVIDING STYLE AND MANDATES A ENSLAVING REHASHING ROBOTIC EXISTENCE, RESISTANCE IS CONSTANT IN WHATEVER THEY SAY OR DO AND THEY HAVE NEVER TASTED A RESISTANT FREE, CONFLICT FREE EXISTENCE AND DO NOT REALIZE WHAT THEY ARE MISSING. THEY THINK THEY HAVE A WONDERFUL EXISTENCE HERE BUT THEY ARE DELUDING THEMSELVES.
Vain resistance:
So long as a person continues to say and do things against himself, harms himself, whatever use of force to resist it is all in vain, limits the damage at best and will ultimately fail.

A PERSON OF TRUE UNDERSTANDING KNOWS ALWAYS WHAT ACTION GOES AGAINST SELF AND WHAT DOES NOT AND HE REFRAINS FROM ACTIONS THAT HARM SELF AND OTHERS AND SO HE DOES NOT NEED TO RESORT TO FORCE TO RESIST AND LIMIT HIS GOING AGAINST SELF.
Smiling and laughing is always against resistance:
Smiling, laughing, singing, dancing and playing golf or whatever must always be against self resistance because they are meaningless, for show to please and impress others, are robotically mechanically rehashed and create stress, restlessness and inability to concentrate.

What kind of judge and justice is this?
The judge in an UK murder case withheld, deemed inadmissible, evidence that would have been crucial in convicting a man who strangled to death his neighbour and then disposed of her body carried in his car boot and dumped in the country side.
This man is a sexual pervert who enjoyed watching videos of men strangling females whilst performing sex and women being tied and held in boots and he had material with a girl that looked very like the neighbour and she was wearing the same coloured blouse with one breast exposed when she was killed.
Such evidence will clinch the conviction and it is bizarre logic to withhold this evidence because the jurors should be competent to decide for themselves whether the presented evidence is relevant or not.

Qantas boss's risky strategy to refocus airline on Asia
This is a copycat action of many western companies expatriating their operational bases to low cost centres in Asia depriving Australians of more expensive jobs that will cripple the economy in the long run.
Apparently Qantas already has a budget airline Jetstar operating out of Asia and it wants to shift more and more of its operations to Asia to exploit low cost labour and maximize profits which has upset unions in Australia resulting in strikes.
SUCH SHIFTS OF OPERATIONAL BASES TO LOW COST OVERSEAS CENTRES IS ULTIMATELY SUICIDAL BECAUSE IT DEPRIVES THE COMPANY’S MARKETS OF EMPLOYMENT THAT WILL IN THE END KILL THE AIRLINE AND WITH IT, ASIAN WORKERS TOO WILL BE KILLED.

The news was that Citigroup had to pay a $285 million fine to settle a case in which, with one hand, Citibank sold a package of toxic mortgage-backed securities to unsuspecting customers — securities that it knew were likely to go bust — and, with the other hand, shorted the same securities — that is, bet millions of dollars that they would go bust.
Citibank is held in high esteem and yet its actions are scurrilous and with the same people running the world’s finances you can expect it to be run into the ground if they have not done so already.
Actions based on emotions and rules logic must be resisted:
Actions based on blind dangerous stirred emotion and false generalized rules logic must encounter self-resistance.
It may be the truth that it is the stirred emotions (like, dislike, sadness, hurt, confusion and fear) that is the source of people’s subsequent actions that are selected from the many recordings in their mental jukebox or in more complex occasions, their stirred emotions drive them to consult their mental jukebox of recorded rules logic to be applied to the situation and in both cases it is never genuine reason that is the basis of their action but it is blind dangerous force that is the basis and must always be subject to resistance, subject to fear which is the stirring of the force of self-preservation.
Thus provoked by what another said or did, the emotional person becomes angry and driven by his anger he says or does things selected from his mental jukebox to retaliate and so that action is driven by force, driven by anger that is blind and never understands anything.
In more complex situations where he is unsure what to do, his stirred emotions may seek guidance in his recorded programmed logic that says eg ‘women are gentler or more trustworthy’ but even if women are in general gentler or more trustworthy, the one in front may not be gentler or more trustworthy and so it is dangerous to take actions based on programmed logic that is fixed, generalized and may not apply to the current situation.

Questioning others and self is a form of resistance:
For a person whose life is afflicted by self resistance to whatever he does or says it is to be expected that he will practice irrational resistance elsewhere.
Thus it is that emotional people doubt themselves and others even over trivial matters.
You can tell him ‘the coffee is on your table’ and he says, “Really?” or “is that so?” Simple things and he says it is incredible, unbelievable, are you sure?
EMOTIONAL PEOPLE WHO RESIST EVERYTHING THEY SAY OR DO MUST QUESTION THEMSELVES AND OTHERS, MUST RESIST AND THIS IS THE DOUBT AND UNCERTAINTY THAT THE BUDDHA SAID IS ONE OF THREE LOWER FETTERS (SELF IDENTITY AND FAITH IN RITUALS AND RULES) THAT LEADS TO WOE AFTER DEATH.
Your doubt and uncertainty is sin and your fault:
Doubt and uncertainty is no small matter, it has deadly serious consequences for you because the Buddha said it is one of three lower fetters to future woe.
Doubt and uncertainty is never a sign of merit but a sign of sin and it is entirely your fault and nobody’s fault that you should experience doubt and uncertainty.
You may blame circumstances, blame others for experiencing uncertainty and thence doubt but your understanding here is wrong that you think is right. You have wrong view that the Buddha says has two destinations hell or the animal womb.
It is a being’s falsity, his saying and doing of things driven by emotion or blind force rather than understanding, his saying (lies) and doing(eg dancing, golf, tennis) what is false, his saying without knowing it is true, his doing without knowing he is doing (eg prolonging syllables without knowing) that is the basis of his self resistance that leads to doubt or resistance to whatever he says or does and whatever is presented to him, even simple matters.

What would you do if you have a million bucks?
To fantasize is to falsify and so he is inviting readers to lapse into falsity which has deadly karma for him. Further he is asking people to lapse into falsity for material matters, for lust of money, for a million dollars that also has debt to be repaid as suffering.
And so it is that the Buddha said beings here have suffering as vast as an ocean because they are forging bond after bond to be repaid as suffering in the future.
IT IS NOT HARMLESS OR GOOD TO FANTASIZE IF YOU HAVE A MILLION DOLLARS BUT IT IS TRAINING YOURSELF TO FALSIFY, FABRICATE THAT LEADS TO SUFFERING NOT HAPPINESS AND YOU HAVE WRONG VIEW THAT LEADS TO HELL OR THE ANIMAL WORLD THINKING INDULGING IN FANTASY IS A HARMLESS PASTIME, AN ‘ESCAPE’ FROM REALITY. REALITY HAVE BE UNPALATABLE BUT YOU ARE JUMPING FROM THE PAN INTO THE FIRE INDULGING IN THE OPIUM OF FANTASY. THE WISE IS ROOTED IN THE HERE AND NOW NOT HIS MIND IN WONDERLAND.
Supreme not superior:
The Buddha does not speak carelessly but he speaks precisely and he said a gift of the dharma is supreme compared with a material gift, a sharing of the dharma is supreme not superior compared to a sharing of material things, an assistance in the dharma is supreme not superior compared to an assistance in things material.
A GIFT OF THE DHARMA IS SUPREME, CANNOT BE COMPARED, COMPARED TO A MATERIAL GIFT, A SHARING OF THE DHARMA IS SUPREME NOT SUPERIOR COMPARED TO A MATERIAL SHARING.
AND SO THE SUPREME WAY TO MAKE MERIT IS TO GIVE, SHARE AND ASSIST IN THE DHARMA RATHER THAN MATERIAL THINGS.
This was said by the Blessed One: "There are these two kinds of gifts: a gift of material things & a gift of the Dhamma. Of the two, this is supreme: a gift of the Dhamma. There are these two kinds of sharing: sharing of material things & sharing of the Dhamma. Of the two, this is supreme: sharing of the Dhamma. There are these two kinds of assistance: assistance with material things & assistance with the Dhamma. Of the two, this is supreme: help with the Dhamma."
Why the Buddha speaks perfectly:
Why does the Buddha speak perfectly even in long discourses and complicated trains of thoughts?
The reason is because he has attained perfect concentration that cannot be perturbed, cannot stray and is perfectly concentrated on the matter at hand and thus PERFECTLY CONCENTRATED, he speaks perfectly.
As the Buddha said, great is the wisdom and thus perfect speech when it is perfected by great concentration.
If you like to strangle others:
There was the notorious Boston Strangler and this Dutchman Vincent Tabak was convicted of sexually strangling his neighbour after dangerously strangling a prostitute weeks before.

The way they are used to driving:
There will be those who are indignant, think their driving is not automated but live specific to the occasion full of understanding for the situation at hand when the truth is they drive by automation, by rehash with their minds often elsewhere or absentmindedly.

Walking blindfolded:
Anyone who is forced to walk blindfolded regardless of how brave or timid, how tough or weak, how smart or stupid, how good or evil, must experience rising fear or anxiety or his mental force for self-preservation stirred whilst he walks blindfolded. It is considerably less anxiety or resistance arousing to walk sighted.
In the same way, anyone who does or says something without knowing he is doing it, without knowing it is true or knowing it is false must experience self-resistance that must be overcome before he can commence and the resistance will dog him, creating conflict whilst he accomplishes it.
THUS IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW GOOD YOU THINK YOU ARE, HOW ANYONE MIGHT REFUTE WHAT I SAY AS FALSE, SO LONG AS HE DOES KNOWING IT IS FALSE, DOES WITHOUT KNOWING (EG HAS STYLE WITHOUT KNOWING HE HAS STYLE), DOES WITHOUT KNOWING IT IS TRUE, HE MUST EXPERIENCE SELF-RESISTANCE THAT IS THE SOURCE OF THE CONFLICT HE MUST EXPERIENCE, HE MUST SUFFER STRESS FROM FORCING HIMSELF TO DO AGAINST RESISTANCE AND HE HAS AN APPOINTMENT WITH TORMENT IF HE KEEPS DOING IT AND CONDITIONING HIMSELF TO CONFLICT.
AND SO IF WHAT I SAY IS TRUE AND NOBODY HAS SAID IT, WHOEVER IS THE COUNSELLOR JESUS DESCRIBED MUST ALSO SAY THIS AND IF I HAVE SAID IT AS NOBODY HAS, THEN I WOULD HAVE SUPERSEDED HIM.
Not just the counsellor but even the spirit of truth:
Twice Jesus said, not just the counsellor but even the spirit of Truth which means the counsellor has an exceptional ability to see the truth.
The Buddha said the truth is not easily seen (and ordinary people do not see the truth) and it is the highest of tastes. And so beings have unequal abilities to see the truth which is a property that may have even infinite scale just as the Buddha said he is the perfect one, perfect in every way and there is no one who is his equal.
BEINGS ARE NOT EQUAL AND THE VARIATIONS IN PROPERTIES MAY BE EXTREME, THERE IS AN EVEN INFINITE SPAN BETWEEN THE WISEST AND THE MOST FOOLISH.
Jesus: "If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, to be with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; you know him, for he dwells with you, and will be in you.
"These things I have spoken to you, while I am still with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
But when the Counselor comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness to me; and you also are witnesses, because you have been with me from the beginning.

Hearing and seeing are separate faculties and so there is nothing to say the blind cannot be accomplished musicians, on the contrary, shorn of the distractions of sight they may better concentrate on sound and music, their sense of sound may be more acute compared to the sighted.
Beethoven was deaf in the later years and he composed symphonies not because it was that amazing because even though he was deaf to external sounds because his reception apparatus was damaged, his mental apparatus for receiving and synthesizing sounds were unaffected and it is not any surprise he could keep composing even after he became deaf.
HE IS SPEAKING FALSELY MISLEADING OTHERS THAT BLINDNESS IS A DETERRENT TO MUSIC ABILITY.
MP drinks water from Fukushima plant:
This is a deluded totally unnecessary act that incurs karma for him. He is trying to reassure others that the water is safe to drink.
Notwithstanding that the water he drinks may not be safe for him, he is foolishly trying to encourage others to similarly drink. Let others decide for themselves whether the water is safe or not, why stick your neck out unnecessarily to vouch for its safety when you cannot know for sure and if suffering should befall them, you have a hand in their misery.
A victim of his own rules logic?
Many do not realize they have rote rules logic that is dangerous. Thus the rules logic is that a disability (eg blindness) is a handicap or deterrent and so he says blindness is not a deterrent to her music accomplishments.
The genuine reason is that blindness is only a handicap or deterrent for activities that require sight, not activities that do not depend on sight.
BLINDNESS IS NOT A HANDICAP FOR EVERY ACTIVITY, ONLY ACTIVITIES DEPENDENT CRUCIALLY ON SIGHT.

A STATE assemblyman has suggested that the Penang Government declare Deepavali a two-day holiday in the state from next year.
He is demanding and self-centred, attributes that are not meritorious but lead to suffering. The wise are contented, have few demands or wants, he is demanding for selfish reasons perhaps to pander to his constituents.
ANYONE WHO IS DEMANDING, WHO MAKE ACQUISITIONS AND THIS IS A FORM OF ACQUIRING IS HEADED FOR WOE, SAYS THE BUDDHA.
THOSE WHO ARE GENUINELY HAPPY ARE HAPPY EVERYDAY, DOES NOT NEED HOLIDAYS OR BREAKS.
Karma promoting demands:
Anyone who promotes demands, incites others to be discontent and demanding, ‘make Deepavali a 2 day holiday’ is foolishly asking for serious karma to be repaid as suffering. Jesus said you should deny yourself and you cannot be demanding if you deny yourself.
The delusion of risk-free lending & its sword of damocles:
IN A SANE WORLD, LENDERS LEND KNOWING AND ASSUMING THE RISKS AND SHOULD THE BORROWER DEFAULT HE ASSUMES THE LOSS, IN THE MAD MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE REALM OF MODERN FINANCE, YOU LEND WITHOUT FEAR BECAUSE YOU GET OTHERS TO ASSUME THE RISKS AND SHOULD THERE BE A DEFAULT, YOU PASS THE SHIT TO THE PARTY WHO ASSUMED THE RISK AND SHOULD HE BE UNABLE TO MAKE GOOD HIS GUARANTEE THEN MAYHEM MAY ENSUE.
The rationale behind credit derivative swaps is that it is possible to lend without risk by farming off your risks for a certain fee to others who may not even be aware what they have committed themselves to guarantee and who may not (almost certainly do not) have the money to pay should they be called upon to fulfil their guarantee.
There is a body called the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), which oversees the multi-trillion pound credit derivatives market and it has a determination committee made up of 10 leading banks involved in the credit derivatives markets, such as Barclays and JP Morgan, as well as five major credit funds.
Recently, it was announced those who lent to Greece would suffer a 50% haircut on what they lent that can be construed as a partial default that if the determination committee ruled as a default would trigger pay outs to swap holders and should those liable to pay be unable to fulfil commitments, there may be serious repercussions for the world finance system.
World waits on Greek CDS payouts
The jury is still out on whether last week's haircut on Greek government debt will constitute a "credit event" triggering billions of pounds of insurance written against the country's bonds, according to the body charged with overseeing the process.
In a note to the market on Monday, the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), which oversees the multi-trillion pound credit derivatives market, said it was too early to say whether the terms of last week's bail-out of Greece would mean the country was formally in default.
The ISDA said a review of whether credit default swaps (CDS) on Greek sovereign debt should pay out would take place only once the final terms of what the European Union termed a "voluntary exchange offer" were publicly available or if an investor made a formal request for a review.
"No debt issued by the Hellenic Republic has been modified to date, nor have the formal terms for any such modification under the eurozone proposal yet been released. No market participant has yet made such a request to the [determinations committee]," said the ISDA.
The determination committee is made up of 10 leading banks involved in the credit derivatives markets, such as Barclays and JP Morgan, as well as five major credit funds.
There was dismay last week over speculation that the terms of the Greek bail-out deal, which will require investors to take a 50pc haircut on the face value of their holdings, would not result in the triggering of CDS contracts. The ISDA said it was not likely the deal would result in CDS claims being allowed.
Why are they desperately avoiding a Greek default?
Greece will not be the first to default on debts, there have been many defaults eg Argentina, Russia in the past. So what is so different this time?
If Greece is ruled to have defaulted then massive pay outs may be due to holders of credit differential swaps who have invested, bought instruments betting Greece will default.
It may be true that no CDS defaults have taken place so far, each time it threatened so, there has been a bailout eg the US government and ultimately the US public pumped in money into AIG to enable it to fulfil its CDS obligations. If Greece were to default and those liable to pay out under CDS obligations cannot honour their contracts, certainly the US would not step in to bail them out nor would EU especially German government step in to bail them out and so such a (maiden) default may have widespread deadly repercussions in the MULTI-TRILLION CDS market.
The reason why people invest or buy CDS is the hope that they will hit payday, they would reap handsome rewards should they bet right and Greece or whoever defaulted.
If you are not going to get paid, why waste your money buying worthless pieces of paper whose contracts will not honoured?
Thus a Greek default triggering CDS pay outs that are not honoured may trigger pandemonium in the CDS market, investors will dump their CDS to whatever suckers willing to buy them and it would trigger a multi-trillion dollar market collapse that may devastate the world financial system and expose it as much less wealthy or strong and more termite eaten as it appears to be.
IF GREECE WERE TO DEFAULT, THEN CDS PAYOUTS MAY BE ACTIVATED AND IF AS LIKELY THEY ARE NOT HONOURED, THE EU OR NO ONE WILL COME IN TO BAIL OUT THESE HOLDERS AND THIS MIGHT TRIGGER PANDEMONIUM IN THE MULTI-TRILLION DERIVATIVE MARKET AS HOLDERS DUMP POTENTIALLY NOT HONORABLE DERIVATIVES THAT MAY DEVASTATE THE WORLD FINANCE.
The multi-trillion derivative industry:
Derivatives are bets or hedges people take to safeguard themselves from excessive losses and there are diverse forms.
It may have originated with commodities when producers and buyers hedged themselves in order to minimize losses from the vagaries of market like natural disasters (drought) but has mushroomed and morphed into a dangerous monster where everything is hedged, bet so that others assume your losses in any eventualities.
Thus airlines take out hedges so that they will pay a certain price for their oil in the future and no more, if the price should exceed that, the extra costs are borne by the party who accepted the hedge, if the price is less, that party gobbles up that difference as profit. It is a form of gambling for profit that the party who accepts the hedge takes, if nothing happens or prices drop, he gobbles the difference and the airline is assured of oil priced no more than he specified. The danger is if the party accepting the hedge does not have the financial resources to honour his commitment should oil prices rise extremely.
THUS NOT ALL HEDGES ARE BASED ON LOANS OR MORTGAGES BUT THEY ARE DIVERSE, BASED ON COMMODITIES AND MANY THINGS ‘UNDER THE SUN’. BUT IN THIS MODERN GREEDY WORLD WHERE PEOPLE ARE GREEDY TO MAKE LOANS THAT ARE CLEARLY RISKY, THEY HEDGE THEIR LOANS, THEY GET OTHERS TO ASSUME THE RISKS OF THEIR LOANS AND THERE ARE AVARICIOUS PEOPLE EAGER TO ASSUME SUCH RISKS BECAUSE IF NOTHING HAPPENS, THEY GOBBLE THE PREMIUMS PAID TO THEM. BUT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS, THEY MAY HAVE UNDERESTIMATED THE LOSSES THEY ARE LIABLE.
THUS THERE ARE TRILLIONS WORTH OF DERIVATIVES THAT MAY GO WRONG, THAT WILL BE FINE IF NOTHING GOES WRONG, BUT IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG, IT MAY LEAD TO PANIC AND PANDEMONIUM OF A ‘MEGA’ SCALE AS PEOPLE EXIT THE MARKET.
SO FAR, GOVERNMENTS (EG THE US) HAVE STEP IN TO BAIL OUT OR ASSUME THE LOSSES ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE IN THE NAME OF SAVING THE FINANCIAL SYSTEM, TO FULFILL THE CONTRACTS WHEN THOSE LIABLE (EG AIG) CANNOT HONOR THE CONTRACTS.
THE US WILL CERTAINLY NOT STEP UP TO THE PLATE TO BAIL OUT GREEK DEFAULTS AND IT IS UNLIKELY IF NOT CERTAIN THE EU WOULD ASSUME THE LOSSES ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE AND SO THIS DEFAULT MAY BE THE FIRST WHERE THE DERIVATIVE MARKET IS SHAKEN, THE GUARANTEES MAY NOT BE WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN AND THOSE WHO HAVE GUARANTEED MAY BE SHOWN TO BE EMPERORS WITHOUT CLOTHES AND THIS MAY TRIGGER CHAOS OF A MULTI-TRILLION SCALE. THIS IS THE SCALE OF THE MAD ALCHEMY MANKIND OR ITS FINANCIAL MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE OR WIZARDS HAS CREATED FOR HIMSELF.
Risk premiums will rise:
