It is Simple Why Actors Must Go Madness

Although it is always tormenting to go mad and may be difficult for actors to understand why when they finally become mad, it is simple to understand that given enough time, all actors must (not may) become mad. If they don’t go mad here, they will go mad after death because acting always harms and kills self and others.
Scientists say the reason why our ancestors were less afflicted by cancer is because they all died young before they had time to get cancer. Similarly, the reason why madness is less frequent in the past may be because they all died before they had time to become mad. People live longer nowadays and we are seeing many old people become madly restless & violent. Given time, if they do not die of other causes, all actors will or must ultimately become mad.
Acting is forcefully controlled forcefully going against self to fake and exaggerate what one thinks, does or says. Because acting is constant and forceful, all that has to happen to an actor (intrinsically or through provocation) to become mad is to lose his forceful control (eg through acute crisis or senility) and he will become transformed to totally forcefully going against himself (or mad) to fake what and how he thinks, does or says.
Anything that is subject to forceful control (mental, bodily or speech fabrications or acting) is subject to degradation and loss of control leading to uncontrolled expression or madness. Not acting is not fabricating anything, not forcefully going against to deceive others, is passive and does not need any forceful control and cannot go mad.
Acting is defined as (forcefully) controlled forceful going against oneself to fake and exaggerate (ie to be false) in what and how one thinks, speaks and does in the name of deceiving, pleasing, impressing, dominating and intimidating others.
Madness can be defined as uncontrolled forceful (madness is violent which is very forceful) irrational or disordered (therefore false or faked or exaggerated) thinking, speech and behavior that grievously harm the person (therefore the madman is going against self) and others who have the misfortune of crossing his path.
Hence, the difference between acting and madness is a loss of control, madness is acting that has run out of control, acting gone mad. Madness is therefore intimately linked to acting, exists only in actors who have finally lost control of their previously controlled going against themselves to falsely forcefully act.
Truth is never irrational or disorderly but truth is always passively, effortlessly totally calmly and clearly rational and orderly. Hence truth can never go mad. Falsehood is never rational, never orderly, is anything, can be anything except truth, is never comprehensible in the slightest bit, never calm, never clear but dishonest people force themselves to or actively pretend that they can and do comprehend falsehood.
It is impossible for a person who truly, passively never acts to become mad. It is totally possible for anyone who falsely, forcefully acts to become mad and he WILL to greater or lesser extent, depending on his karma.
Actors are forceful people. They never just believe passively but as with everything they do, they believe forcefully what are false and forcefully going against self.
To believe forcefully what is false, what is forcefully going against self, one’s and others’ acting/niceness, is true is flirting with madness, to force oneself to embrace madness as intimately as one dares but to ease off at the very last, is foolishly tempting fate to finally consummate that embrace with agony and madness.
Most actors cannot see that the ways they behave and speak are forcefully acted, exaggerated and faked, not passively being themselves, they cannot see how the ways they behave, their smiles and stretched syllables are intimately linked to the considerable daily stresses they surely experience.
It is only their relatively intact forceful self-preserving instinct or grit that pulls them back from the brink of insanity. It is their ‘healthy’ cynicism, their disbelief and doubting of anything happening, said or done by themselves and others that keeps them from going completely mad, from totally believing the falsity perpetrated by themselves and others but they must have occasional bouts of mad (irrational) or silly (treating everything as a joke not be take seriously) or violent behavior. What they do not realize is that they are fighting a lost cause, their mad and violent outbursts are harbingers of future consummated violence and madness.
If you are constantly forcing yourself to do or say what is faked or exaggerated as convincingly as you possible can (eg not only producing a fake smile but a gorgeously faked smile that fools the uncanny as genuine), does it not serve you right that when faced with an acute crisis eg divorce or when senile you are seized by tormenting, unrelenting madness?
Mad people are never totally or mad all the time because unrestrained madness is very stressful and cannot be sustained for long before death or exhaustion intervenes but madness occurs in bouts that actually have triggers (which may be minor or generated in their mad minds, escaping the attention of the undiscerning).
If you watch mad people, they are all forceful in their speech and actions in an irrational (or false or incomprehensible) and violent destructive way (ie going against self and others). This is acting that has gone out of control. Even catatonic patients who spend hours standing still staring at blank space are forceful. They are forcefully, rigidly still that harms themselves; they stare or keep their eyes opened for long periods that harm themselves as their minds are seized in a daze.
WHETHER YOU REALIZE YOUR IMMACULATE LAUGHTER AND STRETCHED SYLLABLES ARE FORCED OR YOU DON’T, LAUGHING AND STRETCHING SYLLABLES ARE ALWAYS STRESSFUL & ADDICTIVE THAT MUST BE CONTROLLED AND WHEN YOU LOSE THAT CONTROL YOU WILL LAUGH UNCONTROLLABLY SEEMINGLY FOR NO REASON, STRETCH YOUR SYLLABLES MADLY. MAD PEOPLE NEVER SCREAM ‘AIE’ THEY ALWAYS SCREAM WITH CRAZED STRETCHED SYLLABLES, “aAAAAAIIIIIiiiieeeEEEEEeee!!!”
IF YOU NEVER STRETCHED YOUR SYLLABLES ALL YOUR LIFE, YOU NEVER HARBORED URGES TO STRETCH YOUR SYLLABLES OR SMILE, IS IT POSSIBLE YOU CAN SUDDENLY, DE NOVO BECOME MADLY SMILING AND MADLY STRETCHING SYLLABLES? YOU MAY BE MAD IF YOU THINK SO.
How Not To Become A Victim Of Madness:
If you can sit still indefinitely without restlessness of thought and body, how can you get mad? It is because ordinary people are actors, their default mental and bodily state is not stillness but restlessness, they only manage on brief occasions to force themselves to be relatively still and it is easily disrupted by internal and external intrusions that they can lose control to go mad.
The wise actor will force himself to keep still, to slow down and reduce the force in his thinking until he can achieve rapidly at will a stillness of mind and body that cannot be disrupted.
Nowadays I can settle down into a deep clear calm with slow passive thinking without silly or ding dong (conflicting) thoughts that cannot be easily disrupted by intrusions and is incomparably blissful compared with any physical activity that I often decline to exit.
My current mental state is testimony that meditation is not useless, is not a dead end but there are great treasures in meditation to be accessed by the persistent meditator.
The Buddha: "What can be done for his disciples by a Master who seeks their welfare that I have done for you, Cunda. There are these roots of trees, there are empty places. Meditate Cunda, do not delay, lest you later regret it. "
Dazes From A Mental black hole:
Anyone who acts must experience episodes of falling into a daze when they become isolated from reality that are never voluntary, nobody puts himself into a daze but they are all seized by circumstances eg a tragedy or inexplicably or impulsively as a result of habitual daydreaming, to fall into a daze that they usually are able to extricate themselves forcefully.
These are harbingers, early tremors of a time when the actor will fall into a permanent daze that they may never recover (eg Ronald Reagan and Alzheimer patients or at death). A daze may be compared to a black hole of false oblivion created by the actor that is trying to and will suck him in. At death he will be sucked into the black hole of falsity to oblivion, to reappear amnesic in another existence in ignorance.

Low Mok Kuan:
Would you find funny a person’s name that means Youthful Precious Jade? People find a person’s name that means Old Wooden Pole funny because they have a subconscious materialistic or biased value system that worships wealth, status and power. Because they smile and treat it as funny, they think they don’t mean it, they don’t look down on others, it is all for jest but they are fooling themselves with painful consequences they do not realize.
The Difference Between The Saint & The Sinner:
As the Buddha said, the fool sees the unimportant in the important, sees the important in the unimportant; the fool sees no difference where there is a world of a difference and sees difference (between actors) when the wise sees no difference (they’re all fakes).
The sinner may raise his voice in anger in an explosive manner with stretched syllables and unnecessary words thus: “yYYOOouu bBBLloOODdieee fFFOOLLlll !!!” and sees no difference with the saint who also raises his voice when there may be a world of a difference with constant loudness, no stretched syllables and additional malicious words thus: “YOU FOOL”
Even though both raised their voices to scold there may be a world of a difference and this may explain why the sinner goes to hell for his outburst whilst the saint is punished here and now and his pain lasts barely a moment as the Buddha says below:
Lonaphala Sutta: The Salt Crystal
"There is the case where a trifling evil deed done takes one to hell. The very same trifling deed done by another is experienced in the here & now, and barely appears for a moment.
" There is the case where a person is undeveloped in [contemplating] the body, in virtue, in mind, in discernment: restricted, small-hearted. A trifling evil deed takes him to hell.
" There is the case where a certain individual is developed in [contemplating] the body, in virtue, in mind, in discernment: unrestricted, large-hearted. A trifling evil deed is experienced in the here & now, and for the most part barely appears for a moment.
"Suppose that a man were to drop a salt crystal into a small amount of water. Would the water in the cup become salty and unfit to drink?"
"Yes, lord. There being only a small amount of water in the cup, it would become salty."
"Now suppose a man were to drop a salt crystal into the River Ganges. Would the water in the River Ganges become salty?"
"It's just as when a goat butcher is empowered to beat or bind or slay a person is of little wealth when he has stolen a goat. But he is not empowered to beat or bind or slay a person is wealthy, with many possessions; a king or a king's minister.
"Monks, for anyone who says, 'In whatever way a person makes kamma, that is how it is experienced,' there is no living of the holy life. But for anyone who says, 'When a person makes kamma to be felt in such & such a way, that is how its result is experienced,' there is the opportunity for the right ending of stress."
